Private To Hunt The Hunter

.
AWAY WE GO
This game she was playing at was getting a tad old, though he still wished to pry more information from her. Sadly, he wasn't going to get any. Least not here. If nothing else, he found himself amused that she was so cautious of him. He was unarmed, unarmored, and fatigued as well. Yet she danced around him as if he was an active landmine. He hadn't had interaction with someone like this since Constance, and while the pilot was kind, she had never shown the sort of strength that Kaidan was familiar with. He could kill Constance in moments if he desired it. But this woman before him? He'd have no such luck there.
Of course, then she mentioned taking him prisoner. Something that he could only sigh at. Of course, that would be his luck. Giving the snake woman an idea like that. "Lovely, haven't been in chains in some time." He muttered, bitterness creeping into his voice, though he had no urge to even attempt a fight right now. Perhaps he wouldn't have to.
He let out a soft grunt as she scratched his shirt, clearly annoyed with her antics. She stepped over him, walking away, her towering form making him far shorter by comparison; that was something he'd have to get used to; being short. She made a rather clear threat of what would happen if he didn't follow, and he believed that she would indeed carry such a deed out. Still, she had left him with his weapon, and seemed to believe he would just follow her after the little display.
He sighed, leaning forward, he inspected the wreckage of what remained of his ship. The choice was rather clear now.
Well, she was right.
Groaning, he rose, and collected his weapon; the metal casing uncomfortably hot from the fire. Clipping it to what remained of his flight belt, he steeled himself against the cold, and followed his 'captor'.
"For liking someone, you have a very odd way of showing it."
