Tired of Jedi/Sith

Tired of being wrapped up in the whimsical world of The Force. Can't swing a dead bantha without stumbling across Force User Angst and folks trying to get their effyeah moments in. It's exhausting and I'm not here to explore how cool a Jedi or Sith I can be.

Anybody here also just a normal person trying to make it in the galaxy?

[member="Bexel"] I have had the same views for over a decade across multiple star wars sites. I love rping the regular folk in the universe. Strider Garon being my main, a mandalorian soldier. Now i have Anse, the duros bounty hunter.

Yeah. I had to add Force Sensitivity to this guy to guarantee any kind of play. Even then, you just get drowned out in the other people looking to join in and it doesn't feel character-driven or at all meaningful. Is there some guild or faction or circle you guys could recommend?

Umm I wouldn't really recommend anything at this point. Go through the Open Role playing and jump into random public threads or start your own. Make friends first, figure out your character and then commit somewhere. Factions are way overrated these days.

[member="Bexel"] no they are not. Make your story. Put your effort into it and you will be pleased with the results. Even though the site is overrun with FUs from pizza delivery to emperors. A good NFU does get noticed eventually. Go into your bio, scratch out that force sensitivity. And have fun with the place. I will keep an eye out for ya.

I challenge anyone here to a fist-on-fist brawl. No weapons. No Force. No Armor. No kill. Skivvies only. Just me bloodying someone's nose. Game?

Yes, and in Star Wars there is a vast rich world with trillions of people who don't have a genetic disorder that makes them religious super heroes. I like those people, and I've always concentrated on their adventures. But that's just me.
