LOCATION: New Alderaan, Former Imperial Palace
OBJECTIVE: Gathering of the most influential Captains of Industry and commerce

The Imperial Palace on New Alderaan was quite the perfect setting for a meeting of those who held the strings not just to the Imperial Confederation's continuous progress and expansion, but who also managed employment, housing, industry and more. While in the long distant past, the Galactic Empire had sought to control the corporations, the Imperial Confederation had not stolen its name, by blending almost seemlessly the exponential influence of the corporations with the hard and no-nonsense attitude of the true imperial ideology. While they seemed hard to combine in theory, practice had shown a different path. Several smaller and major corporations had managed to find root within the imperial expansion, driving internal competition and offering a lithany of products and options. However, with such a widespread list of options and choices came the inevitable problem which the Governor of Corvus and CEO of the Nargath and Zanareth Umbrella Corporation wished to adress.

Getting the access to the palace was one thing, the Exarch had access and so did the Supreme Commander, not to mention that it still housed a sizeable force and held several vaults which held many of the Imperial Confederation's most dear treasures in the form of stockpiles of precious materials and minerals, credit vaults and ofcourse some vaults containing sensitive material. Perhaps most important though, was the war room, originally intended for the ruling council to be able to discuss important legislation or potential military action. Marlon Sularen Marlon Sularen had been so graceful to allow Amalia to set up the war room for a different purpose; a meeting of the wealthiest and most influential members outside of the purely military and political sphere.

The goal was simple; to find an agreement between the different companies in order to set up a standardization system, a document on which each and every company within the Imperial Confederation could put their signature in order to truly find a synergy each could work with and each would contribute to. The guards of the palace, still the old, though somewhat purged imperial knights maintained the security for the guests, while the imperial gardens were open for their entourage and for break times in between what Amalia was certain would be fruitful, yet no doubt heated sessions of negotiating the treacherous pitfalls of the corporate realm.

As she was already waiting, she looked at the datapad she was holding, standing in the war room at the end of the massively long conference table, with connections and hololinks on each section and seat, and ofcourse a large holographic display at the center. Having sent out invitations to many of the larger and smaller companies, the governor of Corvus hoped to find a more balanced alignment of all the players, for the improvement of the Imperial Confederation as a whole.
