Created by the priestesses and monks of the Sarnoi... the ancient bread is considered by travelers a benefit as it requires less in the means or preservation but to others on the world like the Wukong it is a means to help people. Able to feed entire groups a small amount can be given to refugees who come to the world as shelters and areas are prepared for them.
The royal family has worked to try and trade for more in case of such scenarios and it has required more capitulation then they might have liked but in the end there was a benefit of having a small supply delivered to them regularly for people to get their hands on. Even some that could be sold off to travelers and offworlders at a massive mark up as it was an exotic piece of food from the world.
Continued work on many of the foodstuffs from Atrisia and their other equipment has seen improvements to the creation process. The bread is richer, more tasty, more filling and able to preserve the body while being produced in larger amounts and being able to be sent off world. It isn't going to feed entire armies but as a means to help when there isn't a huge amount of food it can come in handy.
