Tianese | Empire

Once known as the Jin Empire, the Tianese Empire is the reformed, monarchical state that rules the Tiantang system at the edge of the Unknown Territories. Having seen the turbulent wars that divide the galaxy, and the subsequent failure of former Princess Zheng-Mei, the Tianese Emperor ascended his second-eldest child to be his rightful heir and public face of the Empire to the Galaxy. Seeing a need to become mighty, the Tianese Empire now seeks out the industrialized war-machines of the Galaxy to improve their technology in order to adequately protect their homeworld.

The People of the Empire belong the near-human species known as the Jin, whom are separated into many ethnic groups. Of these, three reign supreme in the majority. The most populated are the Yu-Jin, the bureaucrats and noblemen that are typically seen within the high ranks. Then there are the Riben-Jin, notable swordsmen, blacksmiths, and warriors known for their strict adherence to honor codes. Then there are the savage, shamanistic Kagan-Jin. Descendants of barbarian horse-lords, the Kagans are the most rural-living of their kin.

In an era torn by strife and conflict, the Empire is calling upon all of its citizens to become prepared. To learn to be the greatest warriors, the most ruthless tacticians, and the most silver-tongued diplomats.

OOC: We are a soft reboot of the Jin Empire, a faction that did not quite take off. We are a neutral-aligned empire inspired by the cultures of East Asia. In particular, we are currently attempting the vibe of Hirohito's Japan during WWII. As noted, our empire is that of a near-human species called the Jin, who comprise most of the population. We have our own, dedicated Force order known as the Fangshi Monks. They are inspired by the Eastern martial arts, prefering to use the Force and hand-to-hand combat over lightsabers and weapons.

So, if you like Imperial Japan, Samurai, and all things East Asia, we're the faction for you!

Glory to Tiantang!
