Mount Infernum: The tallest peak on Thyferra. Heaven’s Gate, the residence of Daegon and Seraphina Corvinus is located on this mountain.
Lake Cristallo: Named for its crystal like shimmer, this lake rests at the base of Mount Infernum.

Xucphra City: Named after the Xucphra Corporation.
Xucphra Corporate Headquarters: This is the main headquarters for the Xucphra Corporation.
Vrelind: The location of several fields of alazhi plants which was one of the main ingredients for Bacta production.
Bezzah City: One of the few port cities on Thyferra. This city overlooks a beautiful body of water and contains many of Thyferra’s resorts. Tourism is the main function of this city.
Lapis City: There is still work to be done on this city as reconstruction efforts have taken longer than anticipated. Lapis City borders the Cinis Sector.
Cinis Sector: The area of Thyferra which has yet to be terraformed. Much of the land is covered in hardened lava and ash.

- Demographics: The primary species of the planet is Vratix and makes up about 72% of the planet's population, while humans make up the majority of the other 28%, with about 3% being various other species which have relocated to Thyferra to work for the Xucphra Corporation. (canon link) Currently the planet does not have to deal with the plague of racism or xenophobia as it had existed while Thyferra was under the tyranny of the Galactic Empire. All races and species are welcome to enjoy the life Thyferra has to offer.

- Culture: Much of a Thyferran’s life revolves around bacta production and the reconstruction of their world. They are a society of people who understand the value of hard work because they have been forced to work for everything they have. Much of the population lives the typical cycle of waking up, going to work, and coming home to sleep, only to repeat the cycle the next day. Having two days off of work a week is a relatively new concept for most of Thyferra.
The native species, known as the Vratix liked to avoid many of the populated cities. Most of their villages were among the trees making much of the population centers human in makeup. This was largely due to the fact the Vratix are an insectoid species and live a much different lifestyle. Their contribution to the bacta trade is seen as invaluable, and are as much part of societal makeup of Thyferran culture when they choose to be.
Freedom has become a value for the people of Thyferra. Much of their history has seen the world under the control of one group or another, and now that Thyferra is self-governing, a swell of patriotism has overtaken the people. A phrase often seen on their publications is “Of the people. By the people. For the people.” It serves as a reminder that Thyferra is free and that the freedoms which exist is ultimately in the hands of the Thyferrans themselves.
Architecture and Science play a large role in what it means to be Thyferran. With the bacta trade and terraforming projects in full swing many have learned to value the beauty of architectural design, and the need to understand more complex sciences. This means much of Thyferran’s education is spent focusing on science and mathematics. Music and literature, while important, tend to be an afterthought or considered to be a hobby fitting an intellectual society and culture.
As one would expect from a society that values science, Thyferra is generally an Atheistic and Agnostic planet. While they do recognize the force as something they cannot truly explain, many do not see it as a thing to be worshiped. Thyferran’s would much rather view the force as a thing to be studied. As such there is no grand temple dedicated to any of the force disciplines, or any of the various deities of the galaxy at large.
- Government: Democtatic Autocracy: While the control of the government is placed in the hands of one person, this individual is elected by the citizenry.
- Affiliation: The Confederacy of Independent Systems
- Wealth: Wealthy. - Since Thyferra is one of two planets which produces Bacta, and of those two is the major producer, the planet is considerably wealthy.
- Stability: High. Thyferra is currently experiencing a period of peace and prosperity, but only for about the past decade. Terraforming efforts have helped to calm the tension and uncertainty as the planet was forced to rebuild. The presence of the CIS has also brought with it an extra measure of security as the protective weight of their war machine brings peace of mind against further attacks.
- Freedom & Oppression: Tyferra is a free planet. While the planet falls under the governance of the CIS, they have maintained their planetary sovereignty. The people of Thyferra also enjoy the rights and freedoms which come from the anti-slavery philosophy of the CIS. In regards to Thyferra itself their governmental structure also guarantees its citizens the rights afforded with a democratic form of government.
While they are ruled by an autocrat, Daegon Corvinus, is not an oppressive ruler. His decisions are seen by the people to have the best interest of Thyferra at heart, even if it has meant being a vocal opponent of Confederacy policies when the need arises. As such, Thyferrans enjoy the benefits of free health care, higher education, and affordable housing.
- Military: Prior to the election of their current ruler, Thyferra relied heavily on other governments and galactic factions for protection. In light of this, Thyferra has begun to develop their own defence force which provides both an army for ground battles and a navy to protect its surrounding orbit. The planet also houses a droid army as part of their agreement with the CIS.
- Technology: Thyferra prides itself in being one of the more technologically advanced planets in the galaxy. Of particular note are the advances made in regards to medical technology. Thyferra not only produces bacta, but provides the galaxy with the means to use it. Their relationship with the Confederacy of Independent Systems also affords access to all of its technology.
