NEW IMPERIAL ORDER INTELLIGENCE ASSETS/
STORMTROOPER SPECIAL FORCES JOINT OPERATION

It wasn't pouring, but it was still raining. In the dim light, the dark red-glow of the cigarette of the man's cigarette illuminated his face for just half a moment, before the darkness of the bar covered him again. He had a gruff voice, and obviously didn't want to speak to the Imperials any longer than he had to. He was tall and lean, moreso lean due to a poor diet and a penchant for cigarettes, less so of the exercise variety. Beaten into submission by life, credits had greased the axle of his mouth, and the information that they wanted was coming out in droves.

"It's like this, you see- nobody who's biddin' is actually gonna be there."

A pause, a moment, another long drag of the cigarette. The rain outside the bar was the occupying space of the sound while he contemplated the ramifications of giving away the information, versus weighing what would happen if he backed out of his deal with the COMPNOR and Imperial agents. Hitter and Tulan were there, Tulan more familiar with the underworld than most gathered, and Hitter there because Tulan asked him to be.

Tulan coldly stared at him, one hand on the credit chits, one hand on the suppressed slugthrower. It was up to him which hand moved- and more importantly, what he said.

"They all send envoys, emissarys, secretarys, underbosses, hell even hired lackeys- just guys told to bid, hold up a number, keep bidding. Only the real people know what it is, you see. It's at this warehouse. But if you make any noise, they all-" He made a poofing motion with his hand, like someone throwing dust in the wind. "So you make a bad move, and your lead is out, and I still get paid." He held out a slimey, dirty, well worn hand. Tulan handed him the credits, walking outside immediately after with Hitter.

Bad conversationalist anyway.

He walked for a few blocks, stopped, making sure he wasn't followed, then entered a small apartment complex. The COMPNOR agents had selected an apartment belonging to a few ship workers, who were currently out spacing, transporting some precious cargo. They came and went frequently, so nobody paid attention when their apartment was occupied again. That and- nobody cared here. Someone could've died in the stairwell and nobody would've been there to care- too busy getting to work. Nobody cared that strangers came, strangers came every day on the planet- who was to notice a few more?

Tulan's kind of place.

The apartment was entered by Hitter and Tulan, and Hitter took his place by the window, ever diligent and rarely, if ever letting his guard down. He didn't blame him. Tulan turned to the COMPNOR agents, the lead one as he understood- one Jaeger Harrsk Jaeger Harrsk . He scowled for a moment, before speaking.

"We found the spot."

Tulan's part of the operation wasn't to do the planning. That was up to the COMPNOR agents. Tulan began to provide the information to the COMPNOR agents, in a way that only he could- in lethal, precise details.

SIA/ALLIANCE SPECIAL FORCES
LOCAL TIME: 0105 HOURS
ORD MIRIT

The SIA was a well-oiled machine, operating in a tumultuous time, simultaneously operating as a both a war asset and a security asset. To that end, it was inevitable that they'd come across a blip of information, traffic, and red flags. Though the involved players did well to avoid their footsteps being heard in a sense, the SIA got lucky with a ping from someone moving from the Inner Rim to Ord Mirit. Intercepted messages on a formerly-encrypted network mentioned that 'everyone' was coming to bid on something. The involved subject had begun a wire transfer of 60 million credits to an off-shore server in order to facilitate the bid- on whatever it was.

The higher up's immediate reaction was weapons or slaves, and neither was going to be ignored by the SIA. Outside their space or not, it involved people within them, so calls were made, operatives were gathered, and arrangements were made.

Ord Mirit was not exactly an ideal location to travel to, but it was fairly easy for operatives to travel to without being noticed. The amount of transports and trade being conducted provided excellent cover for a variety of agents and operatives, and it was easy to follow-up on the lead that the SIA intercepted and provided.

There was never a universe where a black market didn’t exist. A world where licentious price tags had a purpose other than flashy logos and non-necessitous items.

A few agents would receive information passed to their datapads. The opportunity for one-on-one interfacing with the director herself was rare, especially at the initiation of a mission.

Something worth knowing had found its way to her desk. Task Force Xesh had already been deployed multiple times to the black market, validating not only its existence, some of the main players, but some of the transaction types as well. And where those transactions took place. A world within a world, entirely digital –– which required the keen eyes of the SIA’s technomancers. With watchful eyes, they were quick to determine credits weren’t always the top exchange; but they certainly were the most attractive.

Some gathered more attention than others –– escalating prices that would make the Vice-Chancellor look twice. The latest stream of data Agent Kühn had forwarded to her reported a continually climbing sixty million credits.

What could you get for sixty million?

Attention.

Someone wanted money and attention –– and M was only keen on giving just enough of both to get information out of it. And hopefully prevent something nefarious from being exchanged beneath their nose.

The briefing continued without motivation or context. A mission was a mission.

Things were much more simpler as a Storm Commando infiltrator and saboteur during his earlier days as an intelligence operative. Days before the New Imperial Order and the dark horse of COMPNOR. An entity with much power and autonomy to rival Warlords within rising defiant Empire. Those days he was nothing more than a political tool as every soldier was. An instrument to carry out the deed that others could not, and he was damn good at it. Enough for his codename “Snake” to have merit under the wet work he had done.

These days were a bigger ballgame than he could imagine. The days of the past were behind Djorn as he was just a soldier in special forces receiving and completing his clandestine operations without question, and without knowing the truth. Nowadays he was responsible of hiding the truth he knew with lies and disinformation. A bigger picture than he could’ve imagined. Operations revolving around black markets, corporations, cartel syndicates, insurgencies, and other categories he helped plan and execute them. He liked it better when he received orders without knowing the truth behind the operation.

Especially with whatever interest drew them to Ord Mirit, a couple parsecs from the nearest Alliance occupied system.

“So these hired thugs, it doesn’t matter who or what they are, they just go and bid on whatever it is they’re told to? Even if they don’t have the credits to match their bid? Just to act as a smokescreen for the real culprits to do whatever it is they’re doing?”

A barrage of questions came out from him after Tulan came back with whatever intel he had for Imperial agents attending here.

“What do you think, Harrsk? We’ve got the coffers to enter this bid race?”

ORD MIRIT
Operation Lumberjack
Dorian Sevenar's Disguise

Dorian Sevenar’s Shuttle landed on the Planet of Ord Mirit ready to begin Operation Lumberjack. The Director-Admiral himself had orders straight from his boss , the Antagonistic and Overly Ambitious ruler of Byss , Lord-Imperator Marlon Sularen to investigate rumors , the Politorate had uncovered of an auction involving a potential weapon that could potentially benefit the Shadow Triumvirate. The Politorate itself did not even know what the bid was for , but one thing was for sure , whatever was being auctioned off it could be of great use to the Politorate whatsoever.

Sevenar had chosen to come directly due to the lack of available agents at his disposal. While the Politorate had been built to counter the Galactic Alliance’s Strategic Intelligence Agency , it could not rival the Galactic Government’s Intelligence Group and lacked the resources necessary to properly deter SIA Operations conducted against Marlon Sularen. The Politorate had few active agents at its disposal and wasn’t ready for such an operation. Heck , the Politorate had only stumbled upon these rumors through pure luck when they learned of this auction through investigations on another bidder.

Nevertheless Sevenar was here and with only a small team of Agents at his Disposal , the Director-Admiral had contacted his boss’s trusted associate Kenth Berik to assist him with this mission. Kenth Berik had performed well on Arkania and as the Politorate slowly pulled itself together , he was their best bet at further advancing their goals , after all Berik’s Judgement Troopers had proven themselves to be a formidable asset that could even pose a threat to the SIA’s best agents.

Today , Sevenar was here under the alias of Adam Versili , a Core World Aristocrat from the Planet of Carida , Sympathetic to the Cause of Imperialism and aiming to maintain the values of Imperialism on Carida. This persona perfectly fit in with Dorian Sevenar who himself was from Carida and once ruled over the Planet as a Despotic Ex-Core Imperial Warlord before abdicating shortly before the NIO-GA Cold War. In addition , Sevenar had secretly plundered the wealth of Carida before fleeing into the Deep Core taking Billions of Credits with him in the process and providing the Shadow Triumvirate with enough Credits to build further expand their military and conduct infrastructural projects throughout the Deep Core.

Sevenar’s Mission was simple : Sevenar under the Alias of Adam Versili would partake in the auction as a bidder. Sevenar had also created a Bank Account based on Prakith under his alias which couldn't under no circumstances be traced back directly to Marlon Sularen , the C.A.B or Byss filled with a total of 32 Billion Galactic Standard Credits in which was a quarter of the wealth he had plundered on Carida and was to be utilized for this operation.

Back to the mission. While Sevenar would act as a bidder , Kenth Berik and his Judgement Troopers would also be there acting as bodyguard for the Director-Admiral but also the Director-Admiral’s Enforcers , though Berik and his men were to be utilized more of a backup with Berik and his men permitted to go on the offensive as a last-resort for the sake of the mission. If Sevenar won the bet , then they would safely take the item back to Prakith where the Lord-Imperator would pick it up , but if he lost , the Director-Admiral would have to implement his back-up plan

Thus , Dorian Sevenar exited his shuttle flanked by Kenth Berik and his men and ready to begin the mission. “All right Commodore Berik.” Dorian said, turning around to his old ally. “Remember tonight you are Captain James Cerensp and you and your men our my bodyguards. Our objective is to attempt to secure that item by winning the auction. If we fail and lose the bet then we’ll implement our backup plan once we have identified the winners and found the ship they used to make their arrival here on Ord Mirit. Now, do you have any questions , Captain Cerensp?

MISSION CODENAME: COLEET
DESIGNATION: STRIKE TEAM
CLASSIFICATION: UNDERCOVER
ACTIVE AGENT: KALIE ALVEREZ
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: IDENTIFY BIDDERS & SOURCES
SECONDARY OBJECTIVES: AWAITING FURTHER OBJECTIVES FROM CODEBREAKER TEAM
COVER ALIAS: N/A

Kalie sat by herself at the sparsely populated bar located right outside the space port exit, slowly drinking some shots of vodka as she occasionally glanced at the people who periodically walked past the bar as they left the spaceport. She was planning on meeting up with the other agents soon for a debriefing, but decided to relax a bit and keep an eye out for any red flags who would likely be showing up for the bidding war. She was good at being a fly on the wall. The face distortion makeup she had applied made her face look uniquely like someone else, making it difficult for someone to recognize her who might know her.

"Fun fun fun..." She quietly whispered to herself sarcastically as she held another shot up to her lips and let it slip down her throat. She was still pretty fresh from her dramatic encounter with the Imperials on Arkania, and still felt pretty wound up and in need of some decompression. As she thought through the experience, Gramani Fey’la Gramani Fey’la came to mind. A slight smile crossed her lips.

"Fun fun fun..." She said again, but more playfully.

Kalie remembered how much she enjoyed teasing the Bothan. 'Good thing he had shown up when he did' She mused, remembering the immense stress of the entire situation. 'Ug.' She thought, waiving the bartender down for another shot. 'What a day that was.'

Some pilots leaving the spaceport caught her attention as she turned slightly to see if they were a potential bidder... No-one she knew...

She pressed the next shot to her lips and drank it down.

"Power, Strength, Loyalty."

Kenth followed the Director-Admiral down the shuttle ramp. He was not in his formal attire, instead dressed as a Captain Cresnep. As they exited he cocked his Merr-Sonn Power 11r, the op looked like it could get messy so even for today Kenth had discarded his pistol for something heavier. In his other hand was a briefcase containing a datapad, encryption module and signal booster in order to easily and safely access the Director Admiral's accounts. "All understood Mr. Versili. It hasn't been too long since I was a captain myself, going out on field ops with the ISB." he said reminiscing his past. "Got my men out of gear for this one, I predict these low lifes would scurry off at the first sight of stormtroopers". He turned to the rest of his men and gave them a nod and they headed forth.

Kenth had read up on his supposed identity, Captain James Cresnep, former CIC Captain who managed to get out before the collapse. While Kenth was no stormtrooper he had plenty of field experience and the men with him were more than prepared, Judgement Company had the best the Adjudicators had to offer as well as being their most secretive unit with each man dressed similar to Kenth for the Operation. All this secrecy was needed in order to prevent the Alliance from breathing down their necks.

As they moved forward Kenth scanned the area outside the spaceport as rain poured down. He felt it dampen some of his clothes. One of the Judgement Troopers stowed his rifle and withdrew a small umbrella before standing beside Dorian to cover him. While they were bodyguards Aristocrats supposedly liked to keep nice and dry. As they stood there Kenth spoke to Dorian. "If the mission is jeopardised we'll retreat back to the shuttle." he said before turning to his men. "As I said on our way here, your priorities are the safety of Mr. Versili and secondly myself. If either one of us goes down we'll prepare for extraction." Each of the man offered a silent nod before assuming their position, scanning the area for any potential threat.

MISSION DESIGNATION (SIA): STRIKE TEAM CODEBREAKER (Will assist members of COLEET as well)
LOCATION: Ord Mirit
OBJECTIVES: Identify auction's purpose, object of sale, and players who will participate.
TAGS: GA/SIA Friends: Kalie Alverez Ripley Kühn Ripley Kühn Allyson Locke Allyson Locke Zaavik Perl Zaavik Perl
NPC's: Spynet Agent Hasira Camkiran (On location), Spynet Agent Quinnas Yare'yl (At One of several secret Spynet information hubs).

The SIA had initially received the ping on the auction from one of the Spynet's members. After all, Fey'la and his fellow Spynet operatives have been ever expanding the Spynet's Sphere of Influence since the organization's revival. And within that Sphere of Influence, the Spynet watches and monitors ever single bit of information that flows through it. Though it wasn't as much as past iterations of the Spynet had accomplished, the Bothan Spynet of this era was not done yet.

The Agent who initially discovered the data about the auction, stupidly didn't pass it on to his superiors. That could only mean two things, that he was an enemy mole or he was just incompetent. Fey'la was personally ashamed that someone of such low skill in intrigue could be within his organization. He immediately ordered the Agent's termination. Unfortunate but necessary, to ensure any leaks were covered and sealed back up. The Agent wasn't even a Bothan, only a Rattatak, so it wasn't like he was killing one of his own. That, he would never do. Luckily, the only good thing that the agent did is that he sent it to the SIA as an anonymous tip, so they would have no idea the Spynet knew about it or was behind the discovery of the information. Gramani had already planned to send one of his best operatives, his good friend, Special Agent Draga Calth'aye. However, right before Draga could depart for Ord Mirit, Fey'la received word that SIA Director was planning to send some agents as well. So he sent Draga instead to investigate one of their own agents and this agent's disappearance on Byss. It had been 7 cycles, and still no word from Agent Belkosar. Gramani himself would go to Ord Mirit and investigate and matters were made better when the SIA sent him as well. He wasn't going to be alone either. One of the Spynet's newer yet promising members, Agent Hasira Camkiran, a Petrusian, was going to be onworld as well, able to provide support or extraction with a moment's notice. Her main mission was to slice into the planets terminals, consoles, and cameras and be the eye in the sky for him on this mission.

Before they arrived, his best informational agent and slicer, Quinnas Yare'yl contacted him via Holo and informed him of the recent developments of the situation he was heading into. He had discovered that COMPNOR Agents along with additional NIO support were already there. Quinnas had also discovered several of the main players in the upcoming auction. He also informed him that one of their "Dead-Drop Agents", was already there and would uncover the item(s) being sold at the auction in short order. Fey'la ordered that Quinnas keep tracking Spynet operations as usual and be on standby if they needed him. Soon after, his ship landed in a remote platform at the edge of the main spaceport. Him and Camkiran stepped off wearing their disguises and immediately walked in different directions.

Skilled Spynet Agents didn't need heavy disguises, still Agent Camkiran was disguised as a mechanic working near the main spaceport. With Gramani, it would be difficult. Before he became the Deputy Chief, he could go to most places across the galaxy and was never be noticed, always blend in, and no one knowing his true name, without having to change his appearance at all. He was great at creating aliases and fake backstories on the spot. However, it might be possible, knowing that the NIO and COMPNOR were involved, along with other SIA agents, and with possible players of the auction, someone could recognize his name or regular appearance. He decided to not complete disguise himself, but instead wear a simple disguised outfit. He was now suited up as a Bounty Hunter with several weapons and moderate amount of armor, but underneath, he wore his light Spynet gear. He was still fairly confident that anyone who could be an enemy would not recognize his face. Spynet agents are not meant to be seen, they are meant to be......Shadows.

His mission as with the Spynet aligned with the SIA's on this one. Identify the players of the auction, their other associates, those who might be at the auction themselves to bid on the item for sale, and possibly who organized it. Also, uncover the object of the auction.

Gramani now made his way through the streets and back alleys. He snuck into an old empty building to patch in his ear piece communicator as well as his wrist datapad to sync into the Spynet's & SIA's network.

"Agent Camkiran, you read me, over", said Gramani as he pressed the activation button on his ear piece.

"Yes Chief, I read you loud and clear, I've set up shop in this mechanic shop near the spaceport, kinda rusty everywhere". She paused then continued.

"Gear check sir?"

"Yeah, wrist pad is good and so is comms".

"Good, lets down to it shall we?"

"Eager, agent". "Good, I like when an agent is eager". "Yeah, give me the rundown, what's Quin got for me here".

"Well Chief, several COMPNOR operatives have already set up shop in an old apartment and are currently monitoring their own objectives, still unknown".

"SIA?".

"Yep, the Director is on tabs, and you have been assigned to Strike Team CODEBREAKER". "And Coordinating with Strike Team COLEET".

"Who is on that team?".

"Umm lemme see...". "Jedi Knight and SIA Chief Zaavik Perl Zaavik Perl , Agent Allyson Locke Allyson Locke , and Agent Kalie Alverez".

Gramani stopped in his tracks as he was about to leave the building. His body stalled when he heard that name, giving him odd feelings, those of such he rarely ever had before.

"Kalie", he whispered to himself. Kalie Alverez. The Alliance Agent he helped on Arkania. There was.....something....something about her.

Gramani had never taken a interest in dating. He had always been too busy with his life. Yes, he dated a few Bothan girls while serving on the Bothan Council, but those were for political gain as much as they were for pleasure and desire. Regardless, the life of a Intelligence Agent is not suited for long term relationships, or so he thought.

But Kalie. He felt something the moment he saw her in the lab on Arkania. It was something a spy and operative like him could barely comprehend at first. He had figured out she was also a Spy and Agent within the SIA. What are the odds of that! He was also glad she was on this mission, but also somewhat concerned for some reason, which confused him.

He now smiled and remembered the time he spent in her company, even just as a fellow Spy. He thought at times, that she was too good to be true. And with that thought, his hand raised upwards from his side as his brain ordered it to slap him across the face and slap him it did, to wake him up from his dreams of desire. He returned to reality and shook his head to refocus, burying his thoughts of her to the back of his mind for now. He now knew that if he encountered her here, he wouldn't be able to stop his Charming side from emerging.

"Fey'la?" "Chief?", Camkiran must have been wondering where he went or something.

"Yeah, uhhh, yeah I'm still here Agent, apologies".

'Alright sir, just checking".

"Does Quin got anything else?".

"Yeah, ummm, new information from Draga, ummmm....".

"What, why the hesitation?". "Speak clearly Agent", he slightly shouted, not a good idea to do right now.

"Sir......Agent Belkosar was found dead". He could feel that she said it with some slight sorrow.

"What!?". "How?".

"Draga found him in a underground warehouse, he appeared to have been tortured and interrogated".

"Damn fethin chit", he snarled.

"Give this to Quin agent, alright?". He prepared to send a coded message to Quinnas.

"Yes sir".

He now pressed to record a message that he would send to Quin.

"Quinnas, get Draga back to the nearest safehouse and then get him off that world as quickly as possible". "Also get an agent on Sularen ASAP". He ended the recording.

"Alright sir, I'll send it to Quin now".

Gramani turned back to the building's exit, "Anything else?".

"One more thing, we have reliable intel that a man called Adam Versili has arrived on the planet".

"I don't know who that is, surprisingly".

"Me either sir, I was gonna start to trace his connections and background".

"Good, proceed agent, let me know what you find, I'm going dark".

"Sir?".

"You know what I mean, I won't be able to speak cause I'm going back into the field, but I can still hear you and what you report".

"Of of course sir, sorry, just a bit shaken".

"By the news of Agent Belkosar".

"Yeah".

"I know, we'll get the bastards, you have my word". He now gritted his teeth. Angry that he had sent one of his best agents to die. Byss. Bloody Byss. Marlon Sularen was the Lord-Imperator, whatever the dumb Imp title that was, of Byss. Gramani had informants bring information of his activities for years, but he was always operating in the Deep Core, somewhere that his agents were few in number. But now, he knew Sularen had something to do with Belkosar's death. And he WOULD find out why. As the former corrupt Bothan Official Greylo Haw'li learned all too well, Never cross Gramani Fey’la.

"Sir, SIA Agent Ripley Kühn Ripley Kühn is feeding SIA agents intel, should I allow her access to send information to you".

"Yes, give her access to transfer intel and access to my personal comm channel, make the connection secure and untraceable".

"You got it Chief".

"Alright", he said to himself as he finally stepped out of the building and continued away from the spaceport that was right behind him. He crossed the street and made his way to the sidewalk. He soon passed a nearby cantina and pondered going inside, but decided not to. Instead he wandered behind the back of the bar and peered through a tiny window to see who was inside. There was a Twi'lek girl that caught his gaze as his eyes scanned the rest of the room. He wasn't sure if he would find anyone of import here, and if he didn't he would continue into the city and do some better investigating once he had more intel.

DESIGNATION: STRIKE TEAM
CLASSIFICATION: UNDERCOVER
ACTIVE AGENT: KALIE ALVEREZ
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: IDENTIFY BIDDERS & SOURCES
SECONDARY OBJECTIVES: AWAITING FURTHER OBJECTIVES FROM CODEBREAKER TEAM
COVER ALIAS: N/A

Kalie tapped her shot glass in a repeating rhythm against the counter, humming a tune from her childhood softly to herself. With her free hand, she slid her data pad closer and typed in a security code, unlocking the secure channel and seeing if anything had come through yet. As a deep cover agent, she had very limited contact most of the time with other agents, often only knowing just enough details for her to do her operation effectively. She had no idea who she would be meeting with, or who else was apart of the operation. She only knew that Ripley Kühn Ripley Kühn would send her a brief message telling her where and when the meeting would take place. And thats the way she liked it... She wanted complete concentration and focus on her objectives, to give herself to them 100 percent, no distractions, no unnecessary details.

She noticed movement again passing by the bar. She looked quickly and subtly, and this time...

"Hi there!" She said softly. It was a known cartel associate that had set up shop in the outer rim... He was a scruffy-looking beast of a man, with a massive build. She subtly reached down to her side and drew a slim weapon from its holster, bringing it up and resting it across her lap, facing in the direction of the street. The bar was conveniently open to the street, making it a perfect place to tag a mark.

She observed from the corner of her eye as he began to walk past her on the street. As soon as he was lined up for the shot, she calculated the trajectory and.

Zzzt.

A tiny micro tracker was silently shot, zinging its was through the bar and out into the street as it struck the hood of the mans coat with a slight impact, which was completely absorbed by the cloth. He continued to walk past unaware.

She smiled to herself as she quietly slid the weapon back down and into her holster. She then lifted her hand to her lips and blew the man a silent kiss as he disappeared from view. The bar tender noticed her hand movement and looked over at her,

"Umm, another please!" She said, giving him a sweet smile, giggling slightly under her breath as he slid another shot of vodka across the counter to her.

As soon as he had turned away, she typed in a brief message on her data pad directly to her eyes in the sky, Ripley Kühn Ripley Kühn .

Fresh tag. Ugly kriffer. Baroosh Mortigan of the Trush & Ferth Cartel. Thats 10 down sweetie! Should be getting the signal from the tracker now...

She hit the send button, then turned off the display. Kalie was a rather strange creature... she LOVED the spotlight and being the life of the party, but she had chosen such a conflictive career path which usually left her by herself and separated from anyone she knew. It left her always looking to develop some sort of connection locally, even if it was only for a moment in a bar...

Her eyes drifted around, looking at the local bar attendants with some hope that she could find a stranger to talk to. After surveying the possibilities, she let out a lonely sigh and brought her attention back to her vodka.

"Don't YOU ever leave me baby, ok?" She said to the vodka. She then shifted her weight on the stool and looked up blankly across the bar at the wall, at nothing in particular, as she started to drink the shot. Her thoughts drifted back to Gramani Fey’la Gramani Fey’la . She wished he was sitting next to her right now. She had felt an almost instant social connection with the Bothan back on Arkania. There was a sense of safety that she had also felt when she was with him. She missed that feeling. It had been a long time since she had felt safe.

Well, he could check off Ord Mirit as a planet he has now been to.

The crowded marketplace brought a sense of comfort to him. Now, he knew that he was on a mission, but the datapad currently stored in his jacket pretty much told him he wasn't needed yet. So, he explored.

A dream that he received through mediation had told him to come along and do this mission. For what reasons exactly, he didn't know. But from what he had heard you aren't really supposed to ignore those. Whether they be good or bad, they all had a meaning.

Slipping in between the market stalls he finally found a good place to sit. A few tables were set up for outdoor seating at a local restaurant. Perfect.

Lowering himself into the chair he decided to get comfy for a mintue. While sitting he examined his left arm, now with a fake-skin shield over the top of it. It felt weird now to see his arm back to normal, but it was all a part of the disguise. Hell, he wasn't even a Jedi right now. That is why his lightsaber was tightly tucked away within his jacket.

With a small exhale he continued to examine the area, no signs of people with millions of billions of credits anywhere. Shocker.

"Force, I sure hope this mission isn't for nothing, cause right now it is seeming that way. At least let me receive a datapad message or something..."

Since nothing presented itself, he simply adjusted his disguise and waited.

Operation Lumberjack
Dorian Sevenar's Disguise

"All understood Mr. Versili. It hasn't been too long since I was a captain myself, going out on field ops with the ISB.Got my men out of gear for this one, I predict these low lifes would scurry off at the first sight of stormtroopers"
Kenth Berik said as he descended the ramps of the Shuttle followed by his men. It also reminded Dorian of his time as a Colonel of the Core Imperial Security Bureau before becoming an independent Warlord on his homeworld of Carida after the collapse of the Core Imperial Confederation. Berik and Sevenar represented the few Imperials that remained in the Core and Deep Core even as the Galactic Alliance sweeped over it. Their purpose was to remind the Alliance that Imperialism was still present and that one day it would rise back up under the guidance of Marlon Sularen.

"Ah yes , the ISB. I once served it during my time in the Core Imperial Confederation attaining the Rank of Colonel. Unfortunately the CIC lasted for approximately 2 years. There are rumors that Seto de Couteau , the former Acting Director of the ISB hid a large stash of Secret Core Imperial Projects that were in development during the CIC's final days. If we ever uncovered the plans of such projects coupled with our already existing research we could advance our plans rapidly. Too bad we have limited manpower and resources to cover such large-scale operations."

It was indeed a shame that the Shadow Triumvirate had been stagnant. There were few leaders within the organizations and a lot of gaps through it's ranks. Despite it's Military Buildup the Shadow Triumvirate was ill-organized and in no position to wage open warfare given the fact that it was solely supposed to be a clandestine group. Few people were willing to join the Triumvirate and Sularen had to scrape the barrel in order to make it operational and given their dire situation , the smallest screw-up could lead to the full dismantlement of the organization before it could properly operate against it's designated enemies.

Eventually , Versili and his Security Detachment left the Spaceport and proceeded outside where a small convoy of Luxury Landspeers awaited them , 1
JG-8 Landspeeder for Versili and Cerensp and 2 C-B7s for the 8 Guards. as the doors of both Luxury Landspeeders opened up , the Director-Admiral entered the Jg-8 and proceeded to speak with Berik. "Now , let's win this auction" the Director-Admiral said as he motioned for his fellow suportinadates to follow him into the landspeeders

This auction stank so much it knocked him off his chair back on Bastion. Then dragged him all the way here to Ord Mirit, a world bordering their 'friends' - the Galactic Alliance. Something big was going down; so big that two of COMPNOR's commissioners were actively operating on the field to figure it out.

"I think the intel's trash." Jaeger retorted. Taking a drag off his cigarette he continued, "Whoever's running this theater is running it good. We got the spot, sure, and then what? Infiltrate it and risk getting blown up. Enter as bidders - and what if they are vetting? Tsk." he puffed out a cloud of smoke and clicked his teeth, then, "I am betting the whole cash we got for this crap that our 'friends' the "SIA" are already on it; even a step or more ahead of us."

"I'd say we even let 'em take the first step, do the grit work then we snoop in, snatch it and bang--" he clapped. "roll credits."

Tulan scowled- or maybe that was just his face. He turned it either way to Jaeger Harrsk Jaeger Harrsk .

Tulan checked a PDA- one that he neglected to mention to the gathered COMPNOR agents, his eyes hardening.

"Bidding's begun. We gotta make a move, and make it quick. Electronic bids are piling on."

Tulan had an in without telling the COMPNOR agents. Which meant that he was keeping things from the COMPNOR agents. Which meant that he didn't trust the COMPNOR agents. Not after what he heard- the kinds of things that get written in black ink and then crossed out with black marker were the kinds of things that ended up with him being in a Alliance prison cell for a number of years. To say that he wasn't a fan of secret agent types- was an understatement.

But the irony was that as an operator, Tulan was the scalpel, they were the hand. It was lost on him in his anger.

"We might be screwed on getting to the bid if we don't think of something quickly."

-------------------------

INSIDE THE BIDDING AREA
Despite the outwardly downtrodden appearance, the bidding area itself was regal, if not could be described as fancy. The chairs were numbered- with no names on them. Identities were protected. Each person was uniformed in color- red for the security, and white for the bidders. Weapons were checked, coats as well. Security personnel and entourages were taken to a separate area.

The first time that bodyguards had a night off, in a sense. No alcohol but- entertainment aplenty for the goons of the underworld. Mostly things on screens, but if they looked or asked, it would probably come.

A pudgy, soft-faced Twi'lek, blue in complexion, came to a podium before the crowd gathered.

A translator droid spoke for him as he spoke in his native tongue.

"I will begin the bidding for Item 1, and the only item on bid for this evening. We will begin the bid with- 50 million credits for the entirety of the item."

And with that, the numbers started to roll in, and the bidding began. And all the scum in the galaxy had their eyes in one place at one time.

And thus far, nobody knew outside of them- what exactly they were bidding on quite yet.

"Power, Strength, Loyalty."

Kenth listened as the Director-Admiral mentioned his own past in the ISB and the CIC. The mention of the former ISB director peaked his interest. "All in due time sir. Secrecy is our strength for now." he replied before approaching the two speeders and directing his men towards the two C-B7s before hopping in the pilot compartment of the JG-8. He opened a communication channel to the men in the cars. "Escort us closely and watch for any suspicious personnel." he said before setting his commlink and the briefcase aside. He gave the Director Admiral a nod before turning on the speeder and driving off towards their destination.

As they drove Kenth sneered under his balaclava at the rather sad state of the city. A city that had remained out of the jurisdiction of any Imperial for far too long. As they approached the bidding area Kenth scoffed. "This is it. One would expect a more official looking venue for a bid such as this." he said before parking the speeder and hopping out of it. As the two C-B7s parked he pointed at the first vehicle and signaled for the first speeder's crew to guard the vehicle before motioning the men in the second speeder to follow him.

As they entered the betting area the look of the place changed which pleased the Imperial but his thoughts were interrupted when two security guards approached. "Betters only. Security follow us." A large zabarak said to him. Kenth sneered at him from under his balaclava before turning to the Director and offering the briefcase. "We will only be a call away Mr. Versili. The briefcase has everything you need for making the bid and encrypting the source of the credits." he said for motioning his men to follow him and the venue security. Being led to a small room filled with other security of the betters the undercover judgement troopers lined up on the wall and stood in dead silence, drawing attention from the others who were casually chatting amongst eachother. Kenth payed no attention to the others instead inspecting his men and their gear. They would be ready.

Gramani looked further into the cantina and towards the bar itself. He spotted an attractive looking Twi'lek. He started to look elsewhere and continue surveying the room. However, he noticed that one of her Lekku had a crease line near where is connected to her head. He looked closer and saw that it wasn't a real Lekku, it was a false one. Still extremely convincing and he doubted that anyone else would ever notice. Luckily for him, Gramani wasn't like everyone else. He was one of a kind. He was about to look at his tracker to see for any updates about the mission, when he realized how the Twi'lek was acting, flamboyant and outgoing. Only one woman he knew had a courageous personality like that. The SIA Agent Kalie Alverez. The one he had met on Arkania. The one he had thought about several times, just in the last hours. His heart raced slightly, which shocked him. Why was he having these feelings and thoughts, why? What was the reason?

He paused and took a short deep breath. He soon smiled as his gaze peered back through the tight and small window and towards Kalie.

"Boss, its me, I got some news", spoke Agent Camkiran through his ear comm.

He spoke softly so now one would overhear him, "Acknowledged, proceed".

"I have good intel that the auction is starting soon or has already begun, I'll provide the location in just a moment". "Other SIA Agents are proceeding on route to the auction as well".

He clicked off the comm and walked around, towards the entrance of the cantina.

He soon entered and made his way to the bar, where the Twi'lek was sitting. She was facing down at her drink with her back diagonally towards him. He moved to her side and proceeded towards her so she would notice him as he approached, hoping to not frighten her or endanger himself by sneaking up on a fellow spy.

He smiled at her when she would turn to see him. He gave her a gentle greeting, "Hello Darling". He gave her a mischievous look of lust as he bowed his head and raised it. To an outside observer, it would seem that Fey'la just knew this Twi'lek by acquaintance. However, she was not an acquaintance to him, not anymore. She was more than that, which he was hoping would come true.

Kalie became aware of movement from the corner of her eye as someone appeared to be approaching her from behind. She was still drinking the shot of vodka as she turned her head slightly to see who the stranger was...

PFFFFFFFT....

The vodka spewed out and across the counter onto the liquor bottles on the back wall, Her eyes wide with complete shock as she realized it was Gramani! She instantly closed her eyes and brought both hands up to cover her face in utter embarrassment as the bartender looked over at her, glaring at her handiwork.

"Ow!..." She whimpered weakly from behind her hands, as some of the vodka had traveled up her noise and created a stinging sensation in the back of her throat.

She rotated her stool slowly in Gramani's direction with her foot, her hands still covering her face. "I can't believe you did that!" She whimpered to him. Finally, she lowered her hands and opened her eyes, giving Gramani a death glare. It was apparent that she had been made by the Bothan, a fact that really, really irritated her to the core as she took deep pride in her elaborate and detailed disguises. The fact that he had made her was just as impressive as it was infuriating.

She reached up and slapped him rather hard with her hand...

"S-Sorry!" She exclaimed in shock as she realized how hard she had just slapped him.

But as the initial surprise began to wear off, it was quickly replaced with excitement that Gramani was here with her. She couldn't believe that he was here! She smiled flirtatiously and giggled at him as he responded to her slap. Again she was reminded of his powerful eyes that seemed to consume her. Her heart seemed to lift up out of her chest with butterflies, a rather unusual feeling for the girl. She touched his arm gently,

"You kinda deserved it, though." She said softly, looking up at him as her expression changed to one of curiosity, "Are you operating with me? Thats fun."

Suddenly some movement from the street caught her attention. She looked up over his shoulder and saw an entourage passing by with significant security. Her training helped her to observe their uniquely Imperial-esk vibes, even though they were not dressed accordingly.

"Hello there..." She said softly as they walked past and headed towards a small convoy of luxurious speeders. She looked back at Gramani intently, "I guarantee that those Imps are heading to the auction..." She hadn't heard back from her eyes in the sky yet, but she was getting anxious and felt like maybe the two of them could at least work together until she received further instructions. Besides, maybe that was the plan? The two of them operating together? Kalie smiled. Seemed like the galaxy kept bringing them together. She didn't mind it.

"OPERATION PICKPOCKET"

You didn't get to be an old(er) man in this profession by being unwise. Risk was necessary, preferable even to inaction and yet somehow this felt different. Gedeon couldn't place it. Despite his own misgivings about the task at hand, one couldn't have read it from the man's steely cold expression. They were after all, the silent professionals. Spooks of varying degree were often a necessary evil in this line of work but in some small measure this felt less like the Storm Commandos using, and more like being used. Nonetheless, he would see his duty through - whatever the cost. Besides, when things inevitably went south, that's when his skills would shine.

Until then, there was nothing for it. Listening quietly to the COMPNOR spook, Gedeon drew a small blade from his belt and twirled it between his fingers. "The wrong decision, actioned, is still better than no decision at all." he mused. Whatever decision the COMPNOR spook was going to make regarding their next course of action it had to be decisive. Waiting around wouldn't help any of them at all. They seemed squared away in a sense, different than the military of course but there was a subtle purpose there - he had no doubt they would soon be under way.

BIDDING AREA , ORD MIRIT
Operation Lumberjack
Dorian Sevenar's Disguise

After a few minutes of travel Versili's Convoy of Transports quickly arrived at the Bidding Area , where Captain Cerensp [Kenth Berik] and his men were told that only Betters were allowed to enter the Area. Before parting ways with Versili however , Cerensp handed over a Briefcase to Versili who took it and proceeded to head into the Bidding Area with the Briefcase ready to partake at the Auction. The Auction had just begin with the First Bid being at 50 Million Credits for the Item in which few people knew exactly what it was , Versili included.

As the Caridan Noble arrived at the Bidding Area and his Security Detail led to another , what other individuals and organizations like COMPNOR or the SIA would not realize immediately was that Versili was further reinforced with at least 2 Dozen Politorate Agents and
Infiltrators total present in the Area with the Politorate Agents secretly watching the events from afar undetected via Cloaking Device and the Infiltrators posing as Agents from various other 3rd Parties such as Crime Syndicates , Corporations and Aristocrats present with this being the first time , the Politorate had deployed it's agents on the field for such an Operation.

Versili then reached out to his pocket taking out a Commlink and whispered as the Auction continued. "Agent S , any progress? Do we have any signs of the SIA nearby?" the Caridan Noble said. "No Sir , no yet. Our Infiltrators within the SIA have given us a list of individuals that might be on this mission but so far we have yet to find them." Agent S replied. "Good. If you guys find an SIA Operative nearby make sure you stay close and keep tabs on them. We don't want the SIA to disrupt our operations like they did last time.". "Roger that" Agent S said in response. "We'll keep a close eye in the surroundings for SIA Agents. In the meantime take care Mr.Versili."

Adam Versili then put back his commlink in his pocket and took a seat within the Bidding Area. So far the Operation was going smoothly with his Agents not detecting the presence of the SIA just yet even though they knew who they were looking for. Nevertheless this reassured the Director-Admiral who was confident that his Agents could keep the SIA at bay long enough for him and Berik to proceed with the operation. Thus Versili sat there , in the middle of the Bidding Area watching patiently as other Bidders made their bids for the Item with the Price growing larger per every bid.

This was the Operation that determined whether the Politorate was an efficient Intelligence Group in which could be utilized to hinder the SIA's Efforts against Marlon Sularen , if they succeed Sularen would put more resources into it but if they failed , it would leave the future of the Politorate somewhat uncertain. Every small detail counted for even the smallest mistake could lead to failure and Versili knew that.

“I agree,” the Storm Commando operative said in concord with Rath. “Doesn’t matter if the intel is trash or not, it’s something to work with. Waiting isn’t going to get us anywhere either. This is top money, this has the potency to sustain any long term operations we have going.”

“Here,”
and issued out holographic disguises that was limited to espionage operatives such as themselves. “Pick someone your size and build, I don’t give a damn if it’s an ugly Rodian. I’m not exactly waiting on to plan out the next move. We move in and adapt.”

No more wasting time, or they’d lose out on this chase.

The warehouse wasn’t far from their improvised safe house, Snake taking the appearance of a Mirialan. He’d enter as a bidder, blending in with the white attire given to him. Just observe and analyze from that observation. Let the board set itself before making any moves.

Tulan entered with the COMPNOR agents, a disguise placed on him as a security officer. He wasn't allowed in- but the proceedings had already begun. He stepped into the security room, taking a seat with a few of the other security detail that had come here. He didn't have any hard feelings about them. Most of them were just trying to make it in the galaxy, just like him. But some of them were the rougher types, the bad guys of the galaxy.

And then he looked around more.

And everyone in the room suddenly became suspicious of one another.

---

The pudgy Twi'lek turned his body, as a heavy metal box was brought in, flanked by no less than a dozen heavily-armed guards, coupled with two large droids behind them. Top of the line. Armor plating way beyond anything that the present company could keep stashed away in their persons. The security detailed even seemed ready to deal with Jedi- shotguns were at the front of it all, on display. The way they were dressed and moved emulated professionalism, if nothing less than experience.

The translator droid spoke again for the Twi'lek, converting his gargly, fat speech into basic.

"Thank you for your patience- as you are all now going to be made aware of the item you are currently bidding for. Secrecy is a must in our line of work, as you are all well aware."

The Twi'lek reached over, placing his hand on a scanner on top of the box.

It slowly opened, magnetic locks disengaging, hissing inside as the pressure was equalized.

It opened to nothing less than a mass quantity of Kyber Crystals.

Enough to power a city for a good while. Or something terrible for just a brief moment.

The bids became higher and higher.

And so did the stakes.
