APPEARANCE:
Gramani is an adult Bothan male in his psychical prime. He is not extremely muscular, but he is in great shape and maintains a fit physique at all times. He displays the main features that befits most Bothans of his age and origin. Pointy Ears, Large Nose, Sensory Whiskers, and Claw-like hands. Bothans are less primal than species like the Cathar and rarely, if ever revert back to their mammal instincts. However, the instincts they do retain, foremost their great senses and dexterity, are at very high levels. Gramani has light brownish hair, but that will change once he gets older. As of now, he is a Bothan male in his prime with all his attributes and skills putting him at the top of his game.

BIOGRAPHY:
Gramani Fey’la was one of the Architects of the revived Bothan Spynet. He currently is an SIA agent of the Galactic Alliance as well as the current Deputy Chief of the Spynet. Fey’la was born on Bothawui, the Bothan homeworld, in 828 ABY. He was taught at the Bothawui Academy and graduated from the University of Bothawui at age 17. Fey’la was always sharper than most of peers. Similar to most of his species, Gramani was good at intrigue and had good political savvy. But unlike most Bothans, he was not borderline obsessed with the accumulation of power and respect, even though he did earn much of both in his life thus far. He did have a caring nature especially to his fellow Bothans. His sharpness and intrigue made him a great problem-solver and he excelled in detective work. He proved this when he solved a murder on the University campus by himself. His discovery led to find that the murderer happened to be an off-world assassin sent by the notoriously corrupt Bothan official, Greylo Haw’li.

Haw’li had been polluting the planet with drugs, spices, and crime for nearly 15 years, but Bothan authorities could not do much because Haw’li apparently had blackmail on everyone. Bothawui is a key trade world in the Mid Rim, mostly because it is situated between 4 major hyperlanes including the apply named “Bothan Run”. This made Haw’li and his business operations immensely powerful. With one call, he could shut down half of the trade in the entire sector if he so pleased. It was coming to a point where loyal Bothan officials contacted the Republic and Jedi Order for assistance, yet none was sent. 2 years prior to the campus murder, Haw’li had “persuaded” the First Secretary of Bothawui’s government, known as the Combined Bothan Clans, to give him a position on the Bothan Council (Basically the equivalent of Parliament) as the Bothan Trade Secretary. This gave him political and commercial power to please his every want. Fey’la became personally effected when the assassin who had committed the murder was released by Haw’li. Fey’la was personally scorned and Haw’li was about to realize the one rule with this Bothan, Never cross Gramani Fey’la.

Gramani immediately enlisted the help of his uncle, Count Farlys Fey’la, a Bothan nobleman who was the head of Clan Ila. With his security forces working directly with Gramani, they uncovered scores of evidence connecting Haw’li with Hutt Council members, known corrupt Republic Senators, Galactic criminals, and slave corporations such as The Malgori Company. When Fey’la burst into a scheduled meeting of the Bothan Council in 847 ABY at just age 19, many in attendance were stunned. Fey’la immediately denounced Haw’li, firstly as he was not a member of a prestigious Bothan clan and therefore bribed and blackmailed his way on to the Bothan Council (The Bothan Council usually only consists of powerful & Influential members of each major Bothan Clan). He then showcased all the evidence that he had uncovered concerning Haw’li. This highlighted so many foul actions, that some council members were seen gagging in the disgust. Afterwards, Fey’la levied the charges against the traitorous Bothan official. These included Extortion, Blackmail, Fraud, Credit Laundering, Tax Evasion, Bribery, Conspiracy to Murder, Attempted Assault, Accessory to murder, 1[SUP]st[/SUP] Degree Murder, Conspiracy to Assassinate, and Treason. The Bulk of the charges usually would only merit punishments ranging from a large fine to a 5-month term of house arrest. But it was the Conspiracies, murders, assassinations, and Treason that did Haw’li in. His Treason was proven by evidence connecting Haw’li to a mainly human-centric terrorist group located on the Bothan colony world of Kothlis. This group had been actively against the Bothan Council for over 200 years and had assassinated the previous First Secretary, Torsk Krey’lis. Fey’la somehow had connected Haw’li to Krey’lis’s Assassination, which among other acts, proved the Treason charge. In Bothan judicial law, Treason is the highest offense one can merit, and therefore carries the death penalty. The Bothan Council immediately voted to remove Haw’li from the council, which passed unanimously. They then voted to arrest him for all of the charges including Acts of Treason against the Combined Bothan Clans, the Bothan Council, and all Bothans. This passed unanimously and Haw’li was dragged out screaming and whining like a child being taken from his favorite toy. He was later executed 3 weeks later after a Bothan court validated the evidence that Fey’la had provided and officially sentenced him to death by blaster squad. The rejuvenated Bothan Council commended Fey’la for his heroic actions and awarded him the Bothan Crescent of Service, one of the most prestigious awards for public service & heroism. Fey’la became an investigational advisor for the Bothan Security Squadron.

At age 22, Fey’la was already a decorated public figure who many thought would make a great politician. That same year, while serving as security advisor to the new trade secretary, he was sent to Kothlis to supervise a trade mission. While on Kothlis, he was approached by one of Bothawui’s most celebrated figures, Bothan Captain Hosk Ba’kane, who had been protecting the 4 major hyperlanes that run through the Bothan sector for over 25 years. Ba’kane revealed to Gramani that himself and other loyal Bothans were planning to reestablish the Bothan Spynet, which had been a key pillar in past organizations such as, The Alliance to Restore the Republic, The Second Galactic Republic, and the Combined Bothan Clans. Ba’kane offered Fey’la a spot in the restored organization and Gramani greatly accepted. For next eight years, Fey’la was put in charge of locating, investigating, and exposing corrupt Bothan officials, known criminal organizations, and rival trade corporations such as the Bakura Trade Enterprise & the revived Trade Federation. His biggest accomplishment came in 853 ABY when he was 25. Fey’la by this point, had been elected to the Bothan Council and served as its Security Advisor. He was investigating several skirmishes between Bothan Security forces and a local criminal group. He found that this criminal group had been funded and supported by the Pyke Syndicate. The Pykes had been trying to gain access to the riches that flow through the Bothan sector. They had also been kidnapping Bothans in various colonies throughout the sector and were selling them into slavery. After confirming his evidence, Fey’la reported this to the Bothan Council & to the Republic, which finally acted and sent a Republic Task Force led by a Jedi Knight named Tarem A’harre. The task force along with Fey’la and his Bothan security forces, traveled to the Pykes base on Hanoon and shut down their operation completely. To the disagreement of A’harre, Fey’la ordered that all Pyke operations be shut down and terminated along with the Syndicates leadership on the planet. Almost all of the Pyke members involved were executed by Fey’la and the task force. The Pyke Syndicate never returned to Bothan space. When he returned to Bothan Space, he was welcomed as a Hero once more. The Bothan First Secretary awarded him the Bothan Star of Valor; the highest honor one can receive for actions done in defense of Bothan space. In 857 ABY, he was appointed the First Marshal of the Bothan Security Squad, the nominal head of all security forces in Bothan Space. A year later, he was made the Deputy Chief with the Spynet, ranking second behind the Spymaster, the leader of the Spynet.

Some time afterwards, The CIS was beginning to expand into Bothan space. Originally accepting Confederacy control, however he built up a resentment to their cause. What was the point of the Confederacy is the newly formed Galactic Alliance was stable and strong. He also really didn't like the multitude of the Sith and darksiders within the CIS. They did not infringe on Bothan space violently and the First Secretary led most Bothans in joining the Confederates. However, with a distrust between many clans and the overall intrigue nature prevalent within Bothan society, many refused to accept foreign rule and either left or retreated into private estates on Bothawui or Kothlis. In 861, Gramani left Bothawui and Bothan Space, something that pains him to this day, to serve the Galactic Alliance. He retained his positions on the Bothan Council as the First Marshal and Security Advisor. This allowed him to technically become a Confederate and retain citizenship. However, he would still journey to the Galactic Alliance, believing that the Confederacy's alliance with the Sith, would doom them and their people, and a chance it would doom his own people as well. The Bothan Council soon appointed Birsk Si'huv Birsk Si'huv to represent Bothawui in the Confederacy as a Viceroy. In the last year, the Spynet has expanded throughout both the CIS and the GA, and will continue to expand beneath the city streets and bright lights until all valuable information is discovered and acquired. Gramani now serves both the GA and the Bothan Spynet, but he knows where his true loyalties lie, with the Bothans, all Bothans. No matter if they agree with him or not, they are his to protect. And he would do anything to protect them.
