Primary Terrain:
The planet Thral is composed of a single massive super continent. This continent is massive and spans almost half of the planet, with the other half being a single massive super ocean. The main Continent, simply known for the same name as the planet itself is considered to be highly dangerous. This continent is filled to the brim with what Moross scientists call Apex predators. The Continent itself is not massively varying in types of terrain.

Most of Thral is composed of a massive wild Jungle called the Koryn Jungle. This jungle takes up nearly seventy Percent of the continent, with the rest of the land being split between a massive northern mountain range, beyond which lay the Quarin planes as well as the Nyn swamps that sit at the bottom of the continent.

The position of Thral make is so that most of the continent is entirely temperate and warm, with most of the continent being absolutely scorching. The Nir mountains is the only place on the world that sees snow, and that is only due to their alitude, even the northern Quarin planes are usually quite warm.

Major Locations:
Nir Mountains: As their name implies, the Nir Mountains are the only mountain range on the planet of Thral. These massive peaks cut off travel from the Koryn Wilds to the Quarin Plains. Their massive snow capped peaks being visible from miles away and their tops being most often obscured by large clouds that hang over them. The Nir Mountain Range runs from one end of the Continent to the other. Scientists suggest that this is because Thral once had two continents, instead of one. When these two continents came crashing together the Nir Mountains were formed creating an oddly separating wall between the Wilds and what would become the Plains.

The Creatures found within the Nir Mountain Range are most often scavengers or aerial hunters. Massive burns and huge winged reptiles that hunt from the skies and don't put themselves into danger. It is also said that within the deep caverns of the mountains dwell humanoid Titans of epic proportions. Men who have long since lost themselves and their thoughts and turned into something else.

Koryn Wilds: The Koryn wilds are what make up seventy percent of the landmass in the continent of Thral. This huge expansive jungle stretches form one side of the continent to the other, spreading like a plague across the landmass. The Koryn Wilds are filled with countless of deadly creatures. Reptiles, plants, mammals, and even distant relatives of humanoids stalk these huge jungles, their expanse reaching so far that it provides for a haven of a massive variety of wild life. The Koryn Wilds are dotted with massive lakes and hugely expansive rivers, feeding a constant stream of water into this massive forest, allowing it to survive and thrive. At the center of this huge jungle sits an overgrown Sarlacc that had migrated to the planet thousands of years ago. This Sarlacc spans nearly a kilometer wide, its huge gaping maw and massive tentacles able to take in some of the massive predators that roam the Koryn Wilds, ensuring its already long survival.

The Creatures found within the Koryn wilds are not kind. Though there are a few herbivores that sit at the very bottom of the food chain most of the Koryn wilds is dotted with predators, stalkers, and killers. The massive expanse of deadly killers that roam the Koryn Wilds make it the most dangerous place on Thral, and travel into this huge jungle is most often met with a swift and unseen death. It is also here within the Koryn Wilds that the giants of Thral lurk. Massive Apex Predators that stalk the clearings and the jungles themselves in hopes of finding prey.

Mieriath Sea: The Mieriath Sea as its name implies is the giant ocean that surrounds the continent of Thral. This huge expansive body of water stretches around the world. Its depth has never been measures and its ocean floor has not even begun to be mapped. Presumably it is much like any other ocean.

Within the Mieriath Sea can be found a massive expanse of wildlife. Fish, water mammals, and countless other species live within the depths of this seat. Particularly of note is the fact that even the Large predators of the Koyrn wild tend to avoid the stretch of ocean that lays on the eastern seaboard of Thral. Though Moross scientists have yet to confirm anything, they theorize that in this section of the ocean lurks a predator that even the monsters of the Koryn fear.

Quarin Plains: The Quarin planes could be considered the least dangerous part of Thral, though even they hold a certain threat to them. The Plains as they are dubbed are quite obviously simple flat lands decorated by naught but small hills and huge expanses of grasslands. The Quarin plains are roamed by huge herds of Bantha and other herbivores. There is nothing hugely significant about the Quarin planes, save that they span the entirety of the north of the continent. Oddly enough, the continent is more wide than tall, so even the Quarin planes do not reach into the poles, and thus they are still quite warm year around.

The Creatures within the Quarin planes are far more passive than those of the the Nir Mountains and Koryn Wilds. The creatures found here are most often Herbivores, huge Bantha and massive Irrelephants that roam the plains consuming grass. Though this gives the plains a relatively safe feel it should be noted that they hide their own predators. Dangerous arachnids and slithering serpents that hide beneath traps built into the earth as well as stealthy mammalian hunters and flocks from the Nir Mountains ensure that even the Quarin planes are not as safe as one might think.

Nyn Swamps: The Nyn Swamps lay to the very south of the Continent of Thral and eat up the bottom tip of land. It is here that salt and fresh water mix, dozens of rivers from the Koyrn Wilds flow into the Nyn swamps, creating a bog of epic proportions. The Swamp is deep and its trees are massive and black, stretching into the heavens and growing together so thickly that it makes the swamps incredibly difficult to traverse.

Oddly, living fauna is rare within the Nyn swamps. Instead the swamp is filled with Flaura that is far more deadly. Noxious fungi, carnivorous plants that pray on overgrown insects and foolish animals, as well as poisonous sap form trees ensure that nothing survives within the Nyn wilds for too long. The only living creatures here are the scavenger fish that traverse the muddy waters of the Nyn.

Culture: DEATH!
Technology: N/A
History:
Thral is not a planet with much history behind it.

For the past thousands of years no one had bothered visiting this world. Originally found within the times of the Old Republic Thral was dubbed PX-333, and was immediately marked as a place that was impossible to inhabit. This huge world was quickly found to be uninhabitable simply because of the sheer amount of predators and hunters upon this world.

It is unknown why Thral has so many carnivores, or how this development came to actually be, however it is known that Thral contains a higher ratio of predators than Dxun, couple with its oddly shaped landscape and the hindrance that provides Thral is deemed one of the most dangerous planets in the entire galaxy.

Because of this, Thral, nor any of its moons were not ever colonized despite a sizable deposit of Duranium sitting in the northern Quarin Plains. Since the planet was deemed uninhabitable the Republic quickly lost interest in the world, marking it on a long forgotten starmap that was eventually forgotten. Tales of this world of course remained, a planet filled with death and destruction was a lure for many adventurers and made for the perfect hideout for smugglers. Many hundreds of people tried to colonize the world or build some sort of structure there, all were inevitably wiped out by the Monsters of Thral.

Due to these intrepid explorers, Thral was never really forgotten, but of course it was never really colonized either.

Lately, the ever expanding Moross Crusade has taken an interest in the Death World and its many creatures. The Crusade had renamed the planet Thral, after their God of Nature and has begun to study the planet and the creatures upon it.

I like this, it has some flavor but isn't some super rich resource like world. It has danger and lots of predators but as Dxun and Endor have shown there are worlds with large amounts of strange creatures together.

The only qualm I have with it is not knowing the creatures and that is small. I want to see and understand them more but I am not going to make you have to get all of them approved. If you have a general idea or rough outline of them please show it in a post if not. I think this can go to pending.

I like them and look forward to seeing these. The species judge will see to them though so as long as none are force/saber immune or able to do insane things this world looks good.

Approved Pending Secondary.
