Well folks, it's time to start thinking about the next tournament for the Galactic Battle Arena.
What is the Galactic Battle Arena, you ask?
The GBA is a noncanon dueling organization where fighters who might never encounter each other through the course of their normal storylines are thrown into an arena to see who comes out on top. Since the fights are all noncanon, you're free to go all out without having to worry about permadeath. There's no loldodging here. You either live to see glory or die in a puddle of your own blood. Or, you know, surrender. That's a thing, too.
The tournament is open to fighters of all skill levels. Whether you're an experienced duelist or a newcomer who wants to try their hand at dueling in a consequence free environment, all are welcome here. With the exception of the final round, all matches will last for two weeks. At the end of the two weeks, or sooner if you manage to defeat your opponent, the matches will be judged and fighters will be critiqued on their performance. We give you the good and the bad, so if you're looking to shore up your dueling game, the GBA might just be the perfect place for you.
With that in mind, this here is an interest check. If you put your name down here, you're not committing to fight yet, just letting us know that you're interested, so we can get a rough idea of how many fighters to expect. All you have to do is signal your interest with the character you want to throw in the ring. (Limit one entry per writer.)
