There's a band in the bar that I'm dyin' to see

Regardless how the world was going for the blonde, there were two things that Token Waters always needed. Vacations and some dancing. Nights out were important to her. Sure, she was living with what happened to her family. What she did, but there was a part of her that knew she was trying her best. Or a part of her that knew there was one way to get over it. Yes, she was working on that. She needed to, right? So that she could defend others with what she was going to learn from the Sith?

She figured that was probably accurate.

But, it wasn’t what was on her mind for the evening. She took a trip away from the Temple planet and to the nearest civilized world, to get herself some distance and find a bit of the city. Token Waters, after all, was a country girl with big city dreams, as her parents used to say. As much as she was all for the heavy nightclub scene, it was sometimes a bit better to get a little more rustic and to her roots.

That was what brought her to the honky-tonk she was at that evening. The folky-rock string based music was just what she wanted to see. And after a bit of some organized dancing, she figured it was time for a drink. Coming out alone wasn’t always fun, but when it was for the dance? That meant something to her.

Saddling up to the bar, she waited for the ‘tender to come over before ordering a whiskey on the rocks. She really wasn’t too proud as to not order her own drinks. Fixing her hat, she trained her eyes on the crowd.

If there were two things in a bar Patricia knew best, it was drinking, dancing, and picking up a man to drain the life out of him in bed. "Gin and tonic" a voice next to her said to the bartender, Patricia sat in the seat next to @[member="Token Waters"] and kept a pretty blank expression. The woman wore a short red revealing dress with a straw hat to try and blend with the local crowd. She was a long way from the clubs and raves of Zeltros but being a republic agent would take you places. Even if those places were clandestine crap holes. Grabbing her drink from the bar tender the woman took a long gulp then sighed with relief. "I swear who do I have to frakk to get a decent drink around here? It's like all you karkers just drink pond water!" the woman took another gulp of the drink and sighed.

This was no place for a party girl like Patricia but she had to kill time before her shuttle left to her next duty station, looking back over to waters the girl walked up to her smiled "So my fellow blonde, why the long face? Trust me you just got to work it to make the boys buy you drinks." she said laughing a bit afterwards. Most of these liqueured up hillbillies probably hadn't even seen a woman with a full set of teeth before, getting free drinks wouldn't be a problem.

Lips devil red. Eyes like the sun. When she comes around, the boys better run.

Elani kept a steady pace as she walked towards the rundown bar before her. There was not another one for miles so she made do. Hugging her skin was a dark violet cocktail dress and, as per her usual uniform, no shoes. Strapped to her leg, hidden nicely under the dress, was a single guard shoto in case Elani would have to exterminate any pest she might run into in the ragged establishment.

She stepped into the bar and looked around at the few denizens. She pushed a few strands of jet black hair behind an ear and continued walking towards the bar counter and ordered herself a nice drink. In her peripheral, she noticed a pretty young thing being talked to by some chick who obviously flaunts what she has a little too much. She must ave been raised by a pair of carafel. "Were you born with no filter?" she asked of the woman, Elani's eyes not leaving the bottom from her glass as she took a small sip. "Hope she isn't bothering you much, sweetheart." Elani said to the more subtle one.

Oh hell no, if there was one thing in this galaxy Patricia hated the most it was stuck up prudish girls who thought they were better than everyone because they didn't agree with the way she composed herself, not that she composed herself well or anything but still. Haters gonna hate, looking over to the woman she shot her a cartoonish glare then spoke "Listen you Hoelicious Hobag, you talk to me like that one more time I'm going to lose my foot in your ovaries." she threatened the woman before turning back to her drink taking a large gulp downing it all do it wouldn't go to waste if this woman didn't take so kindly to her threat

Patricia wasn't the most civil of people, or the nicest, or the friendliest, or the cleanist, or the most tactful, or the least sluttiest, or.. You know what lets just say she wasn't a lot of things. But when it came to someone stepping to her she had no problem saying what was on her mind. @[member="Elani Zambrano"]

Elani paid the girl any mind. Her vocabulary was obviously more than lacking so Elani wouldn't waste her breath on her no longer. Perhaps her long unnecessary gulps were getting to her already. Or perhaps she was just that stupid. If only she knew who she was talking to right now. Elani continued taking small sips from her glass, not even looking at the woman who threatened her.

Now this was about to get interesting. Token wasn’t ever really picky with who was going to show up to flirt with her. Or who she could flirt with. Sure, she was a Sith hopeful, but that really didn’t meant Token didn’t adore the feelings of lust, attraction, physical affection and sometimes, even if it didn’t arise out of a bar, love. She was a difficult creature to lock down.

Taking a breath after a sip from her drink and tipping her head to the side, Token looked at the other blonde. “Long… nah, I’m fine! Really.” She gave a little forced giggle, just a tad confused with the newcomer. Not upset, just wondering. This, she realized was also and answer to the black haired woman. “I’m fine. Definitely.” She reiterated. Things happened so fast around here, didn’t they.

Maybe that was what she wasn’t used to.

And this was definitely not the time or place for a fight. Not that Token would say no to watching the two women square off, that would actually be pretty interesting. Was she that much of a pervert? Kind of. “I’m really okay. No need to fight each other to defend me.” She laughed and shook her head. “What about you two, what brings y’all here?” And of course, sometimes Token fell in a colloquial accent of Corellian origin.

Lacking in vocabulary, yes. Stupid, eeeehh maybe? Patricia looked over to the brunette and laughed "Yeah that's what I thought, stay down." grabbing a fresh drink she took a few more gulps of it snd sighed contently, the alcoholic, sex addicted, foul mouthed blonde had no problem fighting in an open setting. Hey in fact she rather encouraged it, but fighting for the honor of another woman Patricia didn't play that game, maybe for a one night stand with a dream boat of a man but not this.

"Okay yeah your fine we karking get it." the woman said taking another drink, "Anyway im Susan, and I'm here for business. And by business I mean drink myself into a stupor. What about you and pippy long slut over here?" she joked and laughed, clearly she was in need of speech therapist @[member="Token Waters"] @[member="Elani Zambrano"]

A man wearing the local colors walked into the nearest cantina he could find after planting a small listening device behind an aging building.

Dris entered the bar right as a strange looking woman loudly finished calling another strange looking woman a slut. He stifled a chuckle and took a seat at the bar, ordering something imported. No way in hell he was going to drink the house special in a place that looked like it hadn't been maintained in decades. The only reason he was even in such a backwater location was because some puffed up Sith Lord thought they should analyze the local population. If the idiot had even taken a day ground side he would've noted that the population didn't care about galactic powers, they were simply getting by.

He sighed and took a drink of a Corellian Ale, thinking about his place in the galaxy and ignoring the odd argument that seemed to be brewing between out of place looking strangers.

As always I roamed around from bar to bar. Ether listing to the music of those who played instruments, Played my own songs on my guitar, or ven just to listen to the music of the force. Having the talent to listen to peoples "music" was different that most. I knew of three types of abilities. Shaping, The normal force of what everyone had heard of, and the Music force. With these, I could hear the beats, and the sounds that made up a person's life. Finding small hints to what they were.

Dressed in a rather expensive tux, that I really had stolen, with a lightsaber hidden on my belt, and twin daggers in my boots, I wanted to keep myself protected in a place like this. Walking into a cantina that happen to be playing some mix of folk, and rock music, I started to play with a black ring on my left ring finger. One belonging to my father, I kept it to remind me of my past. But to match that, All of my other fingers on my right hand, had talon rings. Making a metallic claw style on my hands.

It was nice sitting at a table away from the bar, as it was already seeming to be filled to the brim with people. One man sat alone, smirking about something. Probably the triad of ladies that were picking at eachother about not being "lady like" I just shook my head, smiling at the last time that I was in a bar like this. The woman who thought that she could play me ended up without hair on her head, and short some credits and holocrons that she had taken from the Jedi.

Looking at the woman who looked, Oh so dark in her cocktail dress. I could tell that she would be one of those kinds of people. Not taking crap for anyone's words. Very independent and a take charge attitude. While the two women with blonde hair seemed to somehow resemble one another, despite the physical attributes. One sitting there like she was being dragged into the conversation, different yet good in some ways. Looking ether like a Jedi-like person, or just a good person overall. However, the second girl, was completely different. Mostlikely having a hard life, and fighting through her days over something that dramatized her in the past, or she just hung with the wrong crowd and was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

looking back over to the man who was drinking some sort of ale, He was hidden, mysterious, and yet, if I don't say as a normal person, looked rather handsome to the opposite sex. He had a demeanor around him that he was not to be messed with, while also giving off that he might be here on business, or for pleasure. I smiled as I took in all of this information. Learning how to gauge people over the past 20 years after leaving my home at the age of nine. It was hard to break the habit of taking in their weakness and strengths and, in my mind, thinking of ways how I could defeat them all in the span of a few seconds, to a few minutes.

Drinking a simple beer myself, cheep and inexpensive, My talon fingers clicking against the glass bottle in a rhythmic tune of my own mind. Watching, just watching of how this entire situation of the two girls fighting over the one. and the other man sitting there, seeming to eavesdrop of them. I decided to act. Standing up, straightening my suit, and setting my beer down on the table, I walked over to the blonde girl with red highlights in her hair. Ether from the effect of the lights in the cantina, or by dying, and as I grabbed softly at her elbow, I spoke, "You don't mind If I pull you away for this dance?" And as though on cue a folk song came on. Allowing me to possibly get her away from the two bickering women.

Really, she was a wimp, and a ditz. So many people fighting? That wasn’t exactly the best idea, especially around Token. She never wanted people to be fighting over things that didn’t matter. Of course, if they were fighting over stuff of substance, that was one thing. And as much as the blonde @[member="Patricia Susan Garter"] was cute, her attitude left a lot to be desired.

Raising an eyebrow to the blonde, Token shrugged. “Just here, time to get myself a little bit of a break from the world, y’know?” Booze and dancing would always do that trick, was how Token learned things worked. This girl was definitely different, and the blonde was started to just look around, from @[member="Elani Zambrano"].

Feeling a hand on her arm, though, she turned. A dance? “Uh…” She looked back to the other two, and figured they had enough tension to keep themselves busy before they realized they were losing her. Sure, Token wouldn’t know who she’d choose, but right, a dance! “Yeah, sure!” She smiled @[member="Morna Imura"] and nodded.

Elani was less than unimpressed by the loudmouth trying to start something with her. Giving her the satisfaction of a bar brawl was not on Elani's to-do list. Plus, she wasn't planning on killing anyone today, especially some no named blonde. Elani was prepared to ask the quiet one if she would like to get out of the ragged establishment up until some punk came and took her for a dance. Whoever the kid was, Elani surely wasn't impressed by his straightforwardness. Once the two were on the dance floor, Elani managed to sneak a handwritten note, with no one but her noticing, telling @[member="Token Waters"] to meet her outside followed by a wink only seen by her as Elani walked past.

I nodded my head as she turned around to face me. Questioning what I had said. She looked towards the other women as I smiled. With the amount of arguing that was passing between them. I thought that I could atleast spare the other woman from getting stuck in the middle. With what seemed to be an enthusiastic response of sure. I gave her my left hand. as it was not covered in rings. I nodded towards the other women giving them looks of slight annoyance and led her to the dance floor.

"I hope you don't mind that I pulled you away from them, Miss?" asking a simple question along with a reason to take her out of the situation. As much as I was a person that liked others who had the same likes and similarities as myself. I could see how the woman who would be dancing with me, was rather pretty. Though, she would probably never catch me dead saying that.

Preliat remained in the back, his dull gray and blue armor letting it speak for itself. He kept his helmet on, and his arms crossed. He was observing for now, keeping to himself. He had no intentions of talking anyone, because he was a man of opportunity. A skinny little man who reminded Preliat of a band that made terrible music, but had potential, and instead decided to dress like girls, was talking to some ditzy blonde. A sketchy looky man, who Preliat immediately pegged as a spook, was also at the bar. There was one girl, a darker haired, more slender woman, which caught his eye, moreso than the usual reason men would probably look at her. Preliat shifted in his seat, ever so slightly when he looked at her.

Preliat however, remained stoic, and simply watched for now, waiting.

Dris chuckled again as the conversation continued, with the addition of a strange man intent on dancing with one of the women. There is a strange humor to listening to others arguments.

Dris continued to drink and think.

Being pulled away was something that wasn’t a foreign concept to Token. She wouldn’t say it much, but she was one to think very highly of herself, physically at least. That being said, this whole being taken out by the man was something she wasn’t exactly looking for. Smiling, Token caught the wink from the dark haired woman and a slight blush struck her features.

Right. Focusing. Maybe just the one dance? Her eyes were following @[member="Elani Zambrano"] as she left. Still, Token wasn’t a begger.

“Of course not! It’s a good song!” Not one of her favorites, but the rhythms were good. And just like any lady, or someone who sometimes felt like pretending to be a proper lady, Token was going to let her new escort take the lead on this one. Maybe after she’d find something else to entertain herself where she wasn’t going to be lead by the hand.

Well at least the pretentious skank was gone, is what Patricia was thinking to herself as the brunette walked past the two people dancing. Though not that she could say otherwise but she kind of got around herself. Scanning the bar for prime subjects to drain the life out of in a supply closet, or a back room, or a bathroom, or an office, or his place, hell she'd probably do the guy on the dance floor it really didn't matter to the girl. But her choices were limited, there was the creepy dude wearing full battle arnor in a bar looking like a total asshat, seriously who did that? Who found it needed to wear a full suit of armor in the space boonies where everybody could play the banjo and looks the fraking same! Then there was the couple on the dance floor, normally she didn't like to break up people who were in the middle of something but the girl looked like she was more interested in the same sex then the creepy dude with the claw hand. And he was wearing a tux at a local crappy bar, did anyone here know what dressing to the occasion ment besides the girls here?

Then that's when she spotted him, dressed casually sipping a drink, had a full set of teeth and didn't look like the inbred spawn of two hillbillies. So she approached the man after ordering a few shots. Grabbing the two small glasses she walked over to the man @[member="Dris Negan"] and smiled. "So are you just going to sit there and listen to me run my mouth or are you going to do some body shots off of me?" she said in a flirty seductive voice laughing a bit afterwards. She would have to go home with someone tonight and everyone else here seemed a bit out of the norm

"Probably option one." Dris said to @[member="Patricia Susan Garter"] as he took the offered shot. He highly doubted he'd do anything with this woman but free booze was still free booze. Besides, it'd been a while since anyone had offered him a drink.

"I'm flattered though."

He downed the shot and smiled as the warmth spread through his chest. That's what he needed. Alcohol was always good at washing away memories.

"What is this?" Dris asked the woman as he pointed to the empty shot glass.

Well this one had some will to him, Patricia could respect that. But when you are twelve shots in and pretty drunk, Patricia would strike to get in someone's pants. "Playing hard to get now are we? I promise i'l be good just a few more shots?" she laughed and downed the second shot on the table. The liquid slid and burned down her throat, it was spiced rum one of her favorites when it came to drinking. "Rum, isn't it just wonderful?" she said spinning her finger on the rim of the glass.

"Garson! Some more drinks up in this mug! I'm trying to get in this guys pants over here!" she looked to one of the places servers calling for some more shots for her and and this rather charming individual. "So I'm Patricia, and you would be?" not that she cared or anything but he was rather cute @[member="Dris Negan"] would be rather fun to try and break

"Sers Palabink." Dris replied after downing another shot. The bar tramp seemed determined to sleep with him. She'd be sourly disappointed at the end of the evening, Dris knew how to run up a tab.@[member="Patricia Susan Garter"]

As I was leading her in the dance, she avoided my question. Ether she didn't want to let me know her name or she didn't hear me. However, I kind of thought that it was the first option. She said that she didn't mind with me taking her away, But hey, sue me if I tried to help. Really I was not hopping for anything other than having a dance with a nice girl. What was the harm in that? As we danced I kept looking over to the bar to see the mystery man talking to the other blonde, and the darker haired girl had left.

I just looked around casually during different moves of the swing like music. Seeing a Mandalorian in the corrner who seemed to be watching me. However, you could never be too sure that he was doing something else with the dark T-visor on his helmet. I could hear the song as it was coming to an end. and decidenly as the last notes were played, I twirled her around and then back for the last note to play. Bowing at the end, I smiled "Thank you for dancing with me."
