- Hand Guard: The lightfoil has a phrik handguard which protects the hand from injury during duels.
- Kit Fisto: The weapon can be used underwater.
- Comte De Rochefort: Lightfoils are typically much easier to swing than lightsabers, making the wielder faster. They are also known for their deadly precision, making them ideal for use in duels.
- Meditation Crystal: The crystal used enhances the user's ability to focus with the Force, manifesting as a boost to all Sense abilities.
- Force Voids: The meditation crystal's effects will be rendered null in the presence of a Force Void.
- Deflection: Lightfoils are ill-suited for blaster bolt deflection due to their thin blades.
- Cutting Power: Lightfoils have weaker cutting power than normal against all known materials. It is a precision weapon, best used on armor gaps or very light armor.
- Sonic: Sonic bolts bend around the blade and can hit the wielder.
- Slugs: Slugs from a slugthrower, that is. If the bullet manages to hit the blade, it will turn molten and cause potential splash damage.
Thelma Goth's personal weapon, as constructed by her under the tutelage of her master, Maxim Koschei. It is unusual in that it is made in the style of a lightfoil rather than a traditional lightsaber, and also for its built-in handguard. There is no special reason why Thelma decided to make it this way. She just liked the way it looked, just like she liked the color pink for the blade.
