OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create a group of antagonists for Beltran to face off against in upcoming threads.

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Organization Name: The Weavers of Fate
  • Classification: Force Cult, Secret Society, Terrorist Organization
  • Affiliation: The group is loyal to the vision of the Three Sisters
  • Organization Symbol: The Weavers of Fate use several images to identify itself. Common images include depictions of the Three Sisters engaged in acts of weaving cloth. Images of looms and woven webs are also common. Likely the most common depiction of the Weavers can be seen below. It is known as the Web of Fate.

  • Description: The Weavers of Fate are a kind of shadow organization meets Force cult meets terrorist organization. They are said to be headed by three Sisters, who are said to be so powerful in the Force that they can reliably see the future. It is said that they saw the fate of the galaxy, and now act to keep it from coming to pass. To meet this goal, the Sisters have recruited and trained perhaps twenty powerful Force users to act as operatives, fixers and assassins that they call Weavers. Below the Weavers is an extensive number of operatives and familiars who have been placed (or recruited from) in positions of power. They lend political aid, money, weapons and other materiel to the Weavers as needed.
GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: Onderon, formerly Dathomir
  • Domain: Though the Weavers are a secret organization going back centuries into the depths of the Four-Hundred Year Darkness, they are relatively new to the world of Onderon. They have no official relations with the local populace, though they have worked to tighten their grasp on that world's industry and government through the recruitment and/or coercion of key individuals. Force manipulation and cybernetic mind-control and body alteration are common tools of the Weavers as is blackmail, violence and terrorist attacks.
  • Notable Assets: A single black tower, located far from the city of Iziz and dating back to a time before the Beast Wars currently serves as the home of the Three Sisters and their inner circle. Most of the organizations other assets and industry comes from individuals throughout the galaxy who they have recruited, or otherwise hold control over. These individuals tend to be wealthy, powerful and influential.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy: The hierarchy begins with the semi-mythical Sisters at the top. Power then goes down to the Weavers-a small subset of agents, usually force trained and highly dangerous beings, who act as the Sisters' direct hand. Below those agents are numerous operatives, beings who have been recruited through various means who hold positions of power that allow them to aid the Weavers in their missions.
  • Membership: Approximately 500 in total. The Three Sisters (3), perhaps twenty (20) Weavers, and the remainder as operatives and familiars throughout the galaxy.
  • Climate: Clandestine operations at the lower levels, near fanatical devotion at higher levels.
  • Reputation: Those few who know of the Weavers that are not apart of them treat them very warily.
  • Curios: Most lower level operatives have no identifying marks, though higher level Weavers sometimes adorn themselves with the organization's symbol.
  • Rules: The philosophies of the organization are directed by the whims of the Sisters. They rule with an absolute hand, and their Weavers are unshakable in their faith that the Sisters are the only ones that can save the galaxy from the coming cataclysm. As such, the Weavers see the Sisters almost as gods and view their commands as holy quests of supreme religious importance.
  • Goals: The goals of the Three Sisters is to somehow fix the future, keeping what they've seen in their visions from coming to pass. Exactly what was seen has never been disclosed to any member of the organization. Whispers say that whatever it was, is so terrible that for anyone other than the most powerful Force user to see it would drive a person mad.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

As the story goes, the three sisters were once Nightsisters from the world of Dathomir. They grew so powerful in the ways of Magick that they became able to see the threads of fate that bound the destinies of all those in the galaxy. It is said that they grew so perturbed by the future that they sequestered themselves away and set about finding ways to fix it. Eventually, they recruited Force sensitives to their aid and sent them out into the galaxy to perform various missions. These missions ranged from fundraising, to obtaining weapons and soldiers, to outright terrorist attacks. Over time, their operatives are said to have spread throughout the galaxy, taking positions of power wherever they could in order to aid the sisters in their quest to alter the future.

Please hyperlink Iziz.

Could you please expand on this a bit? No need for it to be exhaustive, but what exactly is their faith? Like, what are its main tenets?
