DESCRIPTION
Forged specifically for the young darksider Da'Razel, the gauntlet was commissioned by a local chapter of the Church of the Dark Side residing on Bastion.

The child was considered a long-term investment a high-potential asset, both fiercely loyal to the Church and naturally gifted with destructive capabilities. Yet his formidable affinity for pyrokinesis came with an inherent limitation: the need for an existing heat source to reliably manifest his power.

To overcome this flaw and elevate his ability to deliver both on and off the battlefield, the Church enlisted the expertise of plasma engineers, weapon-smiths, and even excommunicated Sith Knights. Deep within Bastion's fortified industrial sectors, this assembly of specialists forged a portable, self-contained fire source, The Vow of Saud.

The gauntlet is constructed from duravlex-reinforced durasteel, a heat-resistant alloy capable of withstanding the immense internal pressures of the plasma core. Glowing conduits line its surface, serving as both pressure regulators and stability indicators, flickering and intensifying as containment weakens. At its center, a plasma core housing pulses behind a reinforced transparisteel aperture, its volatile heat constantly roiling beneath the surface. Integrated vent ports and plasma nozzles near the wrist allow for the controlled projection of plasma flame, providing a secondary flamethrower function.

The gauntlet's failsafe system continuously monitors containment. In the event of a malfunction, it automatically releases controlled amounts of plasma to reduce internal pressure. If instability escalates, the system initiates an emergency plasma dump venting a high-temperature flare in a defensive burst while shutting the gauntlet down to prevent catastrophic failure. However, if the containment field collapses entirely, the plasma core will rupture violently, causing a localized explosion capable of inflicting lethal damage to nearby targets, including the wearer himself.

Following its completion, Da'Razel's first task was to incinerate the gauntlet's creators, ensuring the technology could never be replicated. Throughout his brutal training, he has sustained severe burns and inadvertently injured others while pushing the gauntlet to its limits.

Yet, despite its dangers, the Vow of Saud remains one of his most trusted and essential tools, a permanent companion on his path to set the galaxy ablaze.
