"Initiating landing procedures, sir," a defeaning voice echoed through the cockpit. Arwen merely nodded in response before emitting a long, tiresome sigh as he tightly grasped onto the railing overhead. His knuckles were turning ghostly white due to the intensity of his hold. The thrusters on either side of the ship were engaged and causing the outdated vessel to shake violently as it approached the assigned landing pad. Landings, Arwen had always hated landings. Perhaps it was due to his own lack of confidence and experience in piloting.

The ship made contact with the ground within a matter of seconds. The ship's engines ceased, and the cockpit fell silent for the first time in what felt like days for the anxious passenger. Arwen hurriedly fled the cockpit without a word to the pilot, racing to the boarding platform that was already lowering onto solid ground.

Arwen's heart was racing as he stepped off the ship and onto the platform. He couldn't help but feel apprehensive about meeting Valery Noble, a woman he had heard so much about. He had only communicated with Valery over holoprojections before. The anticipation of finally meeting with her was almost too much, and he felt his palms grow sweaty with nerves. A positive first impression is all he wanted to make after all.

Arwen stood in awe, looking up at the breathtaking sight of the reconstructed temple surrounded by picturesque flora and the rocky landscape accompanying it. With his heart still pounding from the landing, he continued and followed a small path that led to the towering structure.

It wasn't often that Valery got to formally bring a Jedi into the Order on New Cov, let alone two. The Temple had once been her home in the days of the Old Republic, and ever since it was rebuilt, Jedi used it as a stop or training location further away from the core, and closer to the Outer Rim. But it was the Coruscant Temple where most Jedi business was handled. Not that she'd complain about it — she much preferred New Cov over the busy city world.

So with a gentle smile and a calm expression, the Sword of the Jedi waited at the landing zone just outside the Main Temple.

Soon enough, the first shuttle came down and after keeping enough distance for it to safely land, Valery began to make her approach. She spotted the Jedi Knight she recognized from the brief holo-calls, and made her way over to greet him. "You must be Knight Hamenic?" Valery asked before dipping her upper body into a respectful bow.

"I'm Master Noble, it's a pleasure to finally meet you," she said with a kind tone of voice, and a polite smile. "I hope the journey all the way out here hasn't been too difficult?" She then asked before her fiery gaze shifted up to the sky.

"I believe one other Jedi Knight will be joining us, so let's wait for him here."

"Yes, I am Knight Hamenick. The pleasure's all mine, let me tell you that, Master Noble," he replied with an elegant bow, returning the greeting. His voice was shaky, quite unusual as Arwen was known for his husky voice with a neutral tone.

Arwen chuckled, his light blue eyes followed Valery's gaze up at the sky where several passing ships could be sighted. He was relieved to know that his journey was complete, he had finally arrived at the Temple and was in the presence of the great Master Noble. He responded with a coy smirk, "The journey was manageable, Master Noble. May I add I'm grateful to have been invited here, I've heard many great things about this Temple. I'm looking forward to being shown around when our friend arrives."

He used his index finger and thumb to absentmindedly caress the light brown hair of his bearded chin while pondering who the other invited guest might be. He did not want to question who else the respected Jedi Master had invited to the temple, however, he was always one to go one step too far with his curiosity. Unable to hold his tongue and to prevent an awkward silence, he spoke up, "Who is this friend of ours?"

Music

He never failed to see. Never failed to dream. Unable to keep himself from his well of memories.
He was awake, if somehow asleep, like fantasy tethered to reality, held together within a stream.
An ocean, that’s how he might describe it if ever he had to try. Eyes closed, if open, he sees a sea.
In a seat on a shuttle, the vessel is descending, while a passenger is floating, drifting, weightlessly.

An illusion, maybe, tuning out the sound, the hum, of a starship, focusing on the stars so far.
Meditation, really, but for him it was different. Jedi practiced it, as did Sith, but Yondir ever did.
Before the Jedi found him, he knew how to meditate, as a child, when his mother still had him.
Amid the hull of a ship, a man is lulled, not by hum, but by waves, lapping, beneath moonlit arc.

“We’re approaching the landing pad,” came a voice over comm. It was acknowledged in silence.
Yondir heard, but he listened to another voice, a woman’s, in his mind. Go forth, Yondir. Find them.
Slowly, steadily, the man opens his eyes, he wakes, though he was never really asleep. Yes, Mother.
He would find them as they had found him. He would rediscover, reconnect the threads, and learn.

The shuttle descended, wind rushing around the ship, pushing against the jungle’s canopy.
It landed, lowered the ramp, and a single figure emerged, greeted by a breeze and tapestry.
It was cool inside the ship, while outside was hot, but the wind kissed, and the trees greeted.
Verdant, brilliant, another reminder of his own home far away; of an endless dream, sleepless.

The pointed ears of the Sephi twitched ever so slightly, tilting to the rush of leaves and of water.
This was no sea, no lake, but the waterfall cradled his gaze all the same, flowing by mountain.
Cascading, like time through space, and like this Jedi Knight might if he gave up to wander.
Yet, aimless days had to end, he had to regain his senses, follow the Force like a fountain.

Around him, the hidden realm of the New Cov Jedi Temple dwelled in tandem with the land.
Before him stood a man and a woman, the latter’s face familiar: Jedi Master Noble at last.
Sunlight shone through the jungle’s crown, but there was a different light shining down.
Jedi. He needed the reminder. He carried the lightsaber, he was still one—somehow.

“Greetings,” he offered simply, looking between host and guest with his grey eyes.
Expressionless, like his tone, but not empty, not bereft of emotion, just ever stoic.
“I am Knight Yondir Fenn.” Garbed in a grey cloak and in chestplate, a fellow Jedi.
Introductions would follow, he would follow in turn, into the jungle, if no ocean.

"I'm glad to hear it," Valery said with a smirk of her own when he said his journey had been manageable. New Cov was quite far away from Coruscant, and even outside Alliance Space, so it wasn't always the easiest place to reach. But as long as her fellow Jedi arrived safely, she would be happy.

"I'm also glad to hear that you've heard good things about the Temple. It's quite an important place to me." She smiled warmly and watched a ship finally making its way down to the landing zone. "As for our other guest, I haven't actually met him before either. I decided to invite you both for a first meeting, and perhaps help you get started with your duties." There was also the chance they could be linked up for assignments.

But only time would tell.

Moments later, the ship finally touched down, and the Sephi stepped outside. "Greetings, Knight Fenn. I'm Master Noble," Valery said with a respectful bow of her head, before she looked between them both. "Before I bring you into the Temple, do you have any questions you need or want answered?"

"Indeed, Master Noble. I'm looking forward to beginning my duties under your legendary guidance," Arwen responded with a humongous smile plastered across his long face. He shifted his gaze towards the ship that had just landed on the opposite platform to the one he arrived on, observing as the Sephi made his descent down the short ramp. He studied the figure as it approached the conversing duo, attempting to figure out if he had seen him before.

"Knight Fenn, it's an honor to meet you. I'm Knight Hamenick," spoke a timid Arwen as he bowed his head, not yet out of his shell with the strangers that shared the same ideology as one another. Peace amongst the galaxy was a popular sentence that many politicians had used to win over the general public of the constituencies they were attempting to serve throughout the galaxy. Arwen always hoped one day that time would come again as it had in the past. No worries, no fighting, just peace. Maybe this was the start of that.

Arwen's head subtly shook from side to side in response to Valery's question that was directed at the two guests. "I don't have any questions, Master Noble. I'm ready if Knight Fenn is."

Valery chuckled at his compliment and offered Arwen a warm smile, "Well, hopefully I won't disappoint then," she joked with a bit of a grin before she greeted the new arrival. Now that they were both present and ready to get moving, Valery headed towards the entrance of the Main Temple with its large, open door. Inside the hall stood beautiful fountains and statues, and on each side were hallways leading into different rooms.

"The temple is quite big so it'll take time to get familiar with all of it," she told them as she moved to a staircase in the very back of the Temple. Ome that brought them up to the 2nd floor and onto a huge bridge across the cliffs and over a waterfall. Everything about this place was magical to her, and it showed in the way she smiled.

"I was thinking we'd sit down in the gardens because I mostly want to learn more about you two today, or answer questions you might have for me." Just a tour around the Temple just seemed too dull. She'd much rather actually figure out more about them, so she could help them out with their duties and be a more effective leader.

Soon enough, they reached the Gardens, where Valery sat down on a bench in the center and enjoyed the fresh air with a deep breath. "Please, sit down and make yourselves comfortable. Then if you don't mind, maybe tell me something about yourselves as Jedi."

Arwen closely followed Master Noble through the temple, occasionally pausing to admire the decorations of each individual room he was escorted through. It was evident Arwen was in awe at the majestic grandeur and simplicity of the decoration in the corridors and rooms he laid eyes on. Growing up on Tatooine, Arwen had never witnessed such picturesque sights until he voyaged on trips with his former Jedi Master, a Twi'lek named Seer'aa Frey Laa on his own personal missions, as well as missions assigned by the former council he and his master had served with. All of the sights eased Arwen tremendously, he felt at ease and was filled with pride.

As the trio ascended the stairs to the second floor and crossed the bridge over the roaring waterfall that had crystal-clear water crashing against the rocks surrounding it Arwen paused, speaking to the others: "Such beauty! One can only imagine this when stationed on desolate planets. This temple is extraordinary, Master Noble. I thought you were trying to deceive us regarding the size of the temple, I'll need a map to navigate around this place without your guidance!" Arwen laughed before motioning he was ready to move on.

The group eventually reached the vibrant gardens. Arwen sat down on the bench next to Valery and inhaled a deep breath of air. "Once again I'd like to thank you for bringing us here, Master Noble," he said, elegantly waving his dominant left hand in the air to reference his surroundings. He was eager to respond to Valery's question regarding his own background and answered before Yondir could even inhale a breath, "I've been a Jedi for a little over a decade now. I became a Padawan under Master Frey Laa, who enabled me to exceed the expectations that were set for me due to being a slow learner of the force."

Arwen allowed the party to interject at any moment if they wanted to do so before beginning again, "After being knighted by the council, I became known best for being a superior tactician when on council-assigned missions by achieving many victories for The Order. I, like others, have faults of my own. I do not believe in myself as much as I should... I hope to continue learning under your leadership, Master Noble."

Arwen smiled at the duo after sharing information about himself and allowed Yondir to speak. He folded his arms over one another and made himself as comfortable as he could on the bench.

Master Noble. This one Yondir knew of, not much, just enough for him to receive her invitation.
Knight Hamenick. This one Yondir knew nothing of, regarding him and her with a tilt of his head.
A simple nod; after their introductions and he had no question, and then the three went on ahead.
The temple stood in full view; a great pyramid bound in grey rock, balanced against the mountain.

The latter, nature carved; and out of it was the carving of hands that belonged to intelligence.
It must have taken time, which was an understatement. Yondir was aware that this was rebuilt.
Outside the structure was the Jedi’s strength in stone; inside was no less, yet if with more skill.
Fountains flowed with an ethereal will, statues stood as reminders of time—by a fire’s breath.

On wall sconces, braziers, Yondir’s eyes lingered, peering through the fire and the water.
He moved, passing through the hall beside the hallways, spotting doors and seeing rooms.
Closed to him, yet ever open, for he knew in this place that was not his is yet his home too.
Jedi. It was his name. Amid his three companions, they were much the same, moving onward.

Beyond the second floor, upon the bridge, where Temple geysers gave way to the great cascade.
Taller and larger, the waterfall beside the bridge, as water plummeted beside every frozen face.
More statues, eyes of stone watching Yondir’s own as he passed them by, with some in robes.
The Jedi walked along across the rock as he spied a helmeted sentry with a spear held close.

Guardians. The word lingered with him all the way to the gardens of green trees and of purple leaves.
Vegetation married with mountain stone, dotted with potted plants and celestial lamps in between.
Jedi Master Noble found a bench and then beckoned her guests to attend her presence yet again.
Yondir did as bidden, welcome to the questions, even if it might not seem it on his countenance.

Knight Hamenick spoke first just as Yondir’s breath entered his chest. That was all well and good.
The latter listened to the former, taking each of his words in, sitting back and without movement.
Hamenick was a Jedi of over ten years. Yondir hadn’t heard of Frey Laa. Still, he did not interject.
Superior tactician. Council-assigned missions. Many victories. They sat and yet those words stood.

It was what a Jedi might hope to be described as, particularly a Knight who fights on the front lines.
Either way, Hamenick wore the brave face of admitting to weakness, to doubt about himself in line.
The man sounded quite like someone born for the Order; a balance of confidence amid hesitation.
Someone who recognized strengths and weaknesses both to function just so, whatever the mission.

Then it was Yondir’s turn.

“My master is no longer.”
His gaze did not waver.
“They taught, I learned.”

He searched for words, not necessarily being cryptic to hide any secret as much as uncertain.

“I was taught the blade and the bow long before then. In a sense, I have long been a guardian.”
He sighed, thinking of home. “For decades,” spoke the Sephi. “I protected my world of Rhunor.”
No name many if any would be so versed of. “Now I aim to do for the galaxy what I did before.”

Yondir looked away for more than a heartbeat, glimpsing the water.

“Though…I may have lost my way…but not in the sense of darkness.”
The waterfall, gushing below, misty, disappearing into the distance.
“I took a personal journey, light at my side, but was left to wander.”

"I'll get you a map if we have one, but feel free to explore as well," Valery said with a chuckle, "The caves at the waterfall are especially interesting, and lead to the other side of the cliffs. An overlook there allows you to see across the entire valley." It is one of many places here that Valery used to frequent when this was her main temple, back in the days of the Old Republic. These days, she spent most of her time in the Gardens or at the training grounds.

Valery then dipped her head when Arwen thanked her once more and listened to what he explained about himself. Most of it seemed like the basics — who his Master had been and what he had been up to. But to Valery, it was quite important because it told her a lot about what kind of Jedi he was, also in contrast to Yondir. Both had elements of a Jedi Guardian in them, but she felt that applied to a greater extent to Arwen, whereas Yondir seemed a little more cryptic.

Perhaps the sign of someone who studied more intricate details about the Force? She wasn't quite sure yet, as most of what they talked about now only scratched the surface.

"Well, I'm glad to have you both joining the New Jedi Order, and I'm sure you'll gain more confidence in yourself as well, as you work alongside myself and other Jedi," she said with a smile, the latter part of her statement directed mostly at Arwen. "Right now, we're in easier times — The Second Great Hyperspace War is over and the Brotherhood of the Maw with its New Sith Order was defeated."

"There are, however, many other issues in the Galaxy, and a new group of Sith is causing trouble in the Outer Rim. So, there is a lot to do, and when you both feel ready, I'd be happy to assign you missions. If preferred, you may also first join up with other Jedi or perhaps myself to get adjusted."

Arwen nodded in agreement with Valery's words of encouragement, overwhelmed with a sense of relief knowing he had found another supportive mentor to guide him through his adventures. His former mentor Master Frey Laa was no longer around to carry that mantle and it was a great burden for him. Valery was filling the void he had been asking for since the disappearance of his former master. "Thank you, Master Noble. I hope so too," Arwen said confidently, a completely different tone to the one he started with since meeting on the landing pads.

As she spoke about the state the galaxy was in, Arwen listened attentively, evidently interested in hearing about the challenges he and other Jedi would be facing in the near future. He produced a warm smile that stretched his thin lips out and raised his hand to thank her as soon as she concluded her speech to the intrigued duo sitting opposite her. Arwen was appreciative he was being provided with an opportunity to represent the New Jedi Order. It had been a while since he had felt like he had a purpose and before this meeting, he had felt lost in the galaxy. He was a lone wolf, completely detached from the ones he had in his network. A Jedi with no purpose in the galaxy could have led down a dark, unforgiving path.

"A new group of Sith... Interesting. A story we've heard one too many times. A worrying presence, Master Noble." he said, curiously. He had heard of rumors regarding a great presence rising in the galaxy but he wasn't aware of the severity. "I can only talk for myself as Knight Fenn may have another purpose for being here but I'm eager to assist in any way I can. I would be honored to accompany you or other Jedi on missions you deem suitable for me."

Music OOC [Recurring]

Yondir was ever aware of his words, that even if not curt may leave much to be learned.
Jedi Master Noble was one such figure who more than likely deserved a better answer.
However, she asked for something to be told, not everything, and Yondir gave it to her.
It wasn’t much, but hopefully enough for now; the rest could come as they go further.

Valery expressed being glad to have both Yondir and Arwen within the New Jedi Order.
New. That word rested within his heart as his mind beckoned him home. Old...no longer.
Not like the Silver Order, whose threads were not tethered to him, if yet still connected.
Lost no longer. Not left to wander, to gaze into space as if the man were absentminded.

He was lost, but they found him. Arwen’s confidence was needed in himself. Not Yondir’s.
He needed to regain his conviction for the way, for the path, for the journey, to go onward.
Easier times. Time was never easy for the Jedi, but life with less strife was in turn less trying.
Though, as Master Noble expressed, there were other issues to attend to, to keep fighting.

I am a Knight. Yondir Fenn reminds himself as Knight Hamenick tells them of his passion.
A zeal to serve, as it were, and he was not alone, whether either would go with the Master.
I am a Ranger. A stranger to others, his apprenticeship was a bit of a secret. The Stranger.
Some called him. Right now, Yondir was a Jedi beside Jedi, one who yearned for a mission.

“May I convey the same,” he all but nodded after Arwen spoke.

“I extend my bow, my blade and my hand—wherever I may go.”
He looked between each person then, individually and unblinking.
“We are three already. Perhaps we may stay this way for our journey.”

It made sense to him if no one else. Master Noble wished to know them.
The best way to do that would be to observe and assist them in action.
In tandem, the three of them could also better get to know one another.
For Yondir, it would serve as another door before discovering others.

After explaining the nature of the current Galaxy, Valery was quite happy to see how they responded to it. They both seemed to understand that, even though the war was over, the current issues required a serious approach. They were ready for it, and very much willing to express that to her. "I'm very glad to hear it, and I agree that it may be best to work together first. I can summon you both or individually for assignments alongside myself when I have something ready."

She then paused and smiled a little.

"Of course, we could do something else for now." Valery looked over her shoulder and gestured for the path that led down all the way to the back of the Temple grounds. "That's where the training area is. I don't know how much you two have been able to keep up with practice but we could train together today. Either to learn something new or perhaps just some sparring to maintain our skills."

A slight grin spread across her lips now, "What do you think?"

It had been a while since Arwen had trained with fellow Jedi, and now he had a chance to train with two others. Arwen quite literally jumped at the opportunity to train with Valery, a seasoned Jedi who had fought in the Second Great Hyperspace War when the galaxy needed the heroes the most. That alone was an achievement.

His thin lips formed a smile and he eagerly nodded in agreement with what was proposed to himself and Yondir. He followed Valery's gaze to the Temple grounds. "That sounds great, Master Noble. It's been a while since I trained with anybody but I have been regularly training on my own. I would however be thrilled to train with you and Yondir and perhaps learn something new to improve my own set of skills," he replied enthusiastically. Arwen had always taken advantage of any opportunity to develop his skills when provided the chance. The last Jedi Master he was educated by developed his unique ability to use the Force to connect with the animals. Before his training, he only possessed the ability to calm them down, but now he could also communicate and tame them, which had proved to be useful on previous assignments.

Arwen stood up from the bench and dusted down the dark brown sleeves of his robes, ready to go. "After you, Master Noble," he said with a smirk already on display.

Yondir was pleased to hear that Master Valery was in agreement with his suggestion.
He did not need to convey it on his face. The three shared a unity beyond this place.
Whether they stayed together for the tour, then separate to explore, find their way.
They would return as one for whatever assignment Noble had for them. A mission.

It had been a long time since this Jedi Knight had properly had one; a true journey.
He would not be alone this time though. He would embark on one as one of three.
For now, Yondir turned around to face the training grounds beyond fall or garden.
His thoughts were lost again, taken to training, to sparring, of his skills to harden.

Just as much he became further appreciative of these New Cov grounds he had found.
As much as they found him, as if the Force called him back to it; a lone soul for the fold.
Yondir heard its call like the rush of the waterfall, or like the voice of Master Valery Noble.
“Agreed,” Yondir nodded simply after Arwen’s speech. He would train again; three in total.

Arwen prompted their leader to lead and the two would follow.
Yondir adjusted the plasma bow on his back as they got up to go.
Lightsaber at his hip; being intimately familiar with both weapons.
Whether learn something new or refresh; whether fist or fingertips.

“I am versed in lightsaber combat and Force powers,” Yondir stated while they walked.
He made sure to keep it simple; mindful, not boastful. “I could benefit practicing both.”
He could duel Arwen or Valery, or all three of them at once, exchanging their blows.
Additionally, they could trade techniques in the Force, and let its own power talk.

"Perhaps, you two want to team up and spar against me, then?" Valery smirked at the idea of a little challenge. Sparring was one of her favorite things to do, and usually she mostly trained with Kahlil Noble Kahlil Noble or her Padawans, so this would be a little change of pace for her too. "It's a chance for you two to figure out each other's skills and work together, and I'll push you both. come on, it's this way."

With that said, Valery got up and turned around to start heading for the back of the Temple, where they quickly spotting the large, circular training ring of stone. While it was rebuilt as well, much of the stone was still from thousands of years ago and it certainly looked old.

To Valery though, it was like home.

"Rules are simple. Lightsabers to low power and don't try to cause great harm. Other than that... do your best." She flashed them both a smirk, and the two hilts of her lightsabers slipped into the palms of her hand. With a quick tap of the ignition switch, their violet blades burst into existence.

Valery was ready, but the first move was theirs to make.

"Show me what you got."

Arwen laughed at the proposal and followed Valery without hesitation. He was excited at the prospect of both fighting against Valery and working alongside Yondir for the first time.

Once the trio arrived at the grounds, Arwen closed his eyes and inhaled a heavy breath which was closely followed by a prolonged exhale. He did this before every training session, he felt it brought him closer to the force in that moment when he needed it the most.

"Well, let's not waste time. Yondir, let's show Master Noble what we can achieve together," he said, effortlessly removing his lightsaber hilt from the belt that was loosely hanging from his waist. His fingers immediately tightened on the leather wrapped handle of the hilt, using his thumb to activate the stud that would bring his weapon to life. A sharp hiss closely followed by a buzz was heard as the lightsaber was maneuvered in the air when he took up the defensive position of Soresu as his preferred combat form for the start of this battle with the hardened Jedi Master. The light blue glow of his lightsaber bathed against his focused face as he analysed his surroundings.

He assumed due the warrior-like behaviour Yondir had displayed from the beginning of their encounter that he would make the first move against Valery, and if he did, Arwen would be right there to protect him at all costs.

Typed this up on my phone, I’m not at the computer today because it’s my office day at work so if there’s any mistakes I’ll fix them either tonight or tomorrow!

Yondir offered a nod. Two Knights against a Master. In the end, it did make perfect sense.
Not only was Valery Noble wielding two lightsabers to contend with, she was experienced.
Yondir Fenn was known back home for his swordsmanship, having years of it, but not here.
Beyond his world was everyone’s world, the galaxy. He was Stranger to it, unknown, if near.

Closer to discovering who he was before the stars, how he fit in within the fabrics of space.
Learning of others, Jedi getting to know one another. A great way to do that was via a blade.
Stranger kept silent, standing at a distance as his opponent filled her grips with her sword hilts.
Lightsabers, bright violet. The Sword of the Jedi. She will show it in combat, though not as to kill.

Two Knights. One Master. Yondir stood off to the side, Arwen further to his right, in a triangle.
His partner spoke to show their opponent what they could achieve together. He read my mind.
Meanwhile, the quiet Knight studied Valery carefully for the fight, taking her in—eyes into eyes.
Master Noble wanted to test them, and Yondir wanted to be tested, standing still and diagonal.

A golden hilt appeared in his right hand. He did not delay to ignite, giving it life and light.
Its green blade emanated in much the same way as his contemporaries’ swords of the Jedi.
Yondir too favored Soresu, but he took no typical stance as he walked forth to in turn attack.
Weapon set to stun, held two-handed, tip to the sky, he advanced, facing Valery’s right flank.

Keeping his blade before him in its center guard, Yondir suddenly swung both arms forward.
His sword then slashed diagonally downward from his right to left to connect with her neck.
If successful, it would not be fatal at this setting; no death, but a burning sensation for her.
Thus the duel began, and the dance. Even if Valery was only distracted, there is still Arwen.

In just the few seconds of them getting ready, Valery already learned a lot about them. Arwen had drawn his blade but chosen for a more defensive stance, careful and more passive to allow him a chance to observe and learn more about his opponent, while simultaneously being able to support his companion. Yondir, however, met her gaze and seemed to opt for a more aggressive stance, either because he preferred such tactics, or because he wanted to create balance with Arwen.

Either way, they were already starting to work as a team.

Valery smirked faintly in response and awaited the Knight to make his approach. He did so with his weapon raised, and through the Force, Valery monitored his intentions carefully. So when the sweep finally came down, Valery was ready to move, and she jumped back with a burst of explosive speed to evade the attack. From there, she jumped up and against the side of one of the stone pillars on the side, and used it as launching platform to jump up and over Yondir, so she could reach Arwen like a lightning bolt.

From the air, two blades were swept down with immense speed, before Valery made her landing and got ready to pressure the Jedi Knight.

Adrenaline ran through Arwen's body as he witnessed Valery evade Yondir's attack with what would appear to be unimaginable agility if he hadn't witnessed it beforehand. He dramatically shifted his weight onto his back foot, preparing himself for a strike from her lightsabers. The blue energy source of his ignited lightsaber reflected against both his and his opponent's face as she came closer and closer to striking with her dual lightsabers.

The lightsabers connected, creating a distinctive hiss as they struck one another. Arwen grunted and gritted his teeth as Valery attacked, maintaining his composure and discipline to prevent his defensive guard from weakening. He had learned as a Padawan that impulsive actions can lead to mistakes. Sweat ran down Arwen's forehead as Valery's lightsabers lowered in the direction of his hilt. Arwen knew his purpose, serving as a distraction for Yondir who he could feel the presence of closing in to aid him. The Force worked in mysterious ways, one of those was creating a telepathic connection between living beings and he was using this to his advantage. The Force was poetically singing in his mind, opening up to the area around him. Now's your time, he thought.

A single swift movement allowed Arwen to launch a counterattack of his own, freeing himself from the defensive position he began with. He utilized a different lightsaber form, Makashi, after recognizing patterns in Valery's movements. He believed he could anticipate her attacks and react accordingly. This graceful combat form allowed him to do that and he wasted no time in performing a strike at his opponent's mid-region.

This was more than just a training session.
