HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Captain Argo remains a disputed figure in history. His existence a debate for eras of historians studying myths and legends. It is believed that Captain Argo did exist at least 8000 years ago in some form whether as one individual, a group of, or even a ship. Most seem to agree that Captain Argo hailed from the Tion Cluster. Some claim his heritage was noble before he turned to piracy, others argue he was simply an adventurer with a crew of like minded adventurers seeking fortune, and pirates fiercely believed in a more romantic picture of Argo where he had been a fearsome pirate terrorizing Old Tion in the name of freedom before exploring the vast depths of unknown space.

Rumors have it that the Treasure Map is a combination of five unique fragments spread around different locations around the galaxy. Predominantly the fringes of space. It is believed that the fragments themselves a treasure maps which lead to the Odyssey itself. Others completely disagree claiming that the map was a completely made up story by Core politicians to stimulate space exploration and charting at minimum cost. Many have speculated the location of the fragments and the final destination of the Odyssey itself. Many have claimed of owning a fragment and trying to rip off naive young adventurers by extorting them with incredible prices and sweet lies.

It is a fact that the legend of Captain Argo and his odyssey remain a romantic part, or even an ideal, within pirate lore.

To this day the treasure map remains unclaimed and its existence unproven but yet, many souls still vigorously seek it.
