"I am nine hundred years old, they are children who speak and talk about how they have seen this, seen that and lived. I have survived all these centuries having emotions and not fallen to the darkside. People underestimate the small that they perceive as weak they only think in terms their minds can comprehend over ones like the flow of the force and what could happen down the line."She was looking while she moved and shifting only a little to let her tattoo shimmer more, the skin almost glowing with moonlight and illuminating her eyes. "When you reach my age you'll have a perspective that is different from now as well."

Sighing against the chill she rubbed her hands together again and squinted her eyes, the day was unique and strange she guessed. She hated this planet already.

Ivy closed distance fast, but not too fast so she would drain herself... another 25 meters and she would be out into the open and then the fun should start. Walking with fast confident strides she looked upon the image of the city, barren as it may be now she smirked as she felt the darkside flooding her veins, pulling the darkside unto her she quickly rejuvenated herself and made it to where her energy pool had refilled.

Well this is a strange planet she said as she was quickly coming to the city gates, her mind focused and sifting through the many intricacies of the city borders.

He listened to her before patting her on the head once more before speaking. "Ill be sure to find a way in which i can live nine hundred years and then come and find you before i crumble to death my dear." He smiled and moved on to look along the walls once more before crossing his hands behind him as he dug at something in the snow off in the corner, revealing nothing important as he sighed. "Either way though Jedi, i don't mean that you can't control them im just saying that there are those like me that can use them to my advantage."

Pulling her own fur lined coat up around her closer to keep the howling wind at bay. Then there was also the responsibility she on this mission. To bring hope to the hopeless. Bring the supplies that needed to be brought. Knowing she was more here not as much healing as much as listening to those that needing. Finding herself only after a few to being able to wonder over to the other group also the leader of this to see what next for them.

She looked at him with a more curious raising of an eyebrow. Using emotions to his advantage had a few things she could think of but there was more to it while she continued to search and look around. Her eyes holding a small twinkle before she was moving deeper into the tomb. She placed a hand on the wall and was searching for what she could find. They were searching now as she came to a larger chamber letting the light from her eyes illuminate a small section. She looked to the center of the room with a small hand tapping it while the iced over dias held old holoprojectors while the room itself had some tattered banners.

Walking into the city she found it somewhat deserted and a bit ruined.. the entire place felt a bit odd to her, and didn't feel like a city at all. More like a graveyard.

Ivy continued to trek toward wherever it is she was needed to go, the entire mission was a disaster from the start.. she should never have decided to trek a long distance and now she is sorta scolding herself for it.. long walk through an ice planet, without winter clothes and freezing slightly You really proved yourself to be a bonehead this time, princess she said lowly as she mocked her own stoopidity.

Now where the hell is everyone dermmit? she said as she stopped to survey, yet it seemed a bit.. oddly familiar.

"Found anything of note over tehre?" He looked up and over his shoulder with a curious eye on the small and ancient aged woman as he brushed himself off. Really he was a bit curious in anything found here, but there was something about here that seemed like it had been picked over a million times before and they would not find anything.

Quenladose gave a shrug for a moment and spoke. "Not sure, there looks to be parts frozen over but this old equipment isn't made to be in the weather." She tried tapping it and the ice on it was solid for the time while brushing some of it away. There was a control panel old and cracked where something had smashed into it. "Never know what else you are going to find within the area." They had the tomb of Ulic that mean tthere should be more then enough for them to discover he had been involved in so much if even half of that legacy it would be a great find.

He looked at the ice and smiled at Quenladose as he nudged into her and motioned for her to watch and learn as he rubbed his hands and created a flame around them as he slowly got to melting the ice, smiling as he was being a bit cocky about the ability he had spent a long time developing and improving. He was happy to focus on it of all things and slowly continued to lessen the amount of ice that covered the console so that he could rewire this thing if possible and see what they could learn.

She felt great sorrow for the woman, the loss of a child is something no parent should experience and now with the coming of their first child, Coci understood the bond between mother and child. She placed a hand on the woman's shoulder, there is not really much one can say in this situation, and considering the events of the Galaxy, her son could literally be anywhere.

"We will do our best to find your son, if he is on this planet", it would be hard to explain her comment as the woman looked up into Coci's face with tears wetting her cheeks. There would be more mothers out there looking for children, fathers the same, all families would not escape some part of the tradgedy that has befallen the galaxy. The woman stood up and nodded her head in appreciation, before walking away. Coci assumed to return to her home.

Letting out a long sigh, as if in defeat, Coci moved forward toward the centre of the city, there to meet the authorities.

And what had our redheaded, morally moderately ambiguous heroine been doing in the meantime whilst her writer cruelly neglected her? Well, presumably she had been stalking across the seemingly endless snowy plains of this lovely planet until she finally got close to the entrance of the fabled Crystal Cave. Even someone like her could not help feeling the great power that came emanating from it. Across the millennia Jedi had come here in search of the powerful crystals that were said to grow here. Likewise Sith had come, as had salvagers and opportunists like her. There was the gust of a cold wind that came sweeping her way, numbing and chilling to the bone, which made her shiver, despite the greatcoat she was wearing in an attempt to keep herself warm.

Once again she checked her weapons, making sure everything was in place, then she took a deep breath and finally stepped in. Within the cave lay great power that beckoned to her...even as she recoiled from its touch and whispers. Various dead bodies lay sprawled across the ground, some of very old, as indicated by the fact that they were snow-covered skeletons, whilst others seemed fairly recent. So as a consequence she was cautious and on her guard as she cautiously stepped in. Hearing noise coming her way, she quickly took cover behind some rocks, as she spied two armed fellows come her way, looking vaguely like mercenaries or insurgents by the looks of it. Probably here to secure the cave against the Silver Jedi, perhaps to lay traps. Or here because someone else had hired them.

Elpsis gripped her boltgun and loaded a magazine of solid durasteel slugs. They had good penetrating power and were relatively quiet, making them good for sniping. She took aim and squeezed the trigger. The weapon's flat crack echoed dully in the cold air. One opponent fell down to the ground without a sound, blood seeping out of the open wound into the snow as his head was penetrated lethally. However, his comrade had been smart enough to hit the dirt and seek cover, and so Elpsis' shot missed.

Gripping his blaster rifle he unleashed a salvoe of blaster bolts into her general direction. Not that well-aimed, but the hail of blasterfire forced her to keep her head down before she rolled. Gripping her bolter tight she raised it and fired. Not directly at her attacker, but at the glistening ice fangs hanging from the ceiling above him. Icicles abruptly began to fall upon him, not enough to penetrate his armour, but still enough to distract him as he suddenly found himself bombarded from various sides. Breaking into a sprint she used his distraction to cross the distance and bashed him over the head, using her gun as an improvised club.

She watched him working on the console and raised an eyebrow delicately for a moment as she smirked. Still moving around the room and searching as there there broken vases and the tattered banners. She picked on up and it looked like one of the oldest sith emblems for their empire as she held it. Disintegrating and holy as it was she could still feel something.. not darkness as much as that feeling you get looking at symbols. Sometimes disgust, sometimes pride, here it was dread as she could imagine the ones who saw this and weren't within the sith. They must have been terrified as she set it down. "Any luck"

He was tearing apart a device in his bag when he looked up and smiled at her as she continued working, his fingers nimbly splicing the wires together until a spark almost hit him and the console dimly lit. "I don't know how long my job will work but it should be long enough for us to retrieve any important looking information so i suggest you tell me what looks useful and ill transfer it to the storage unit im hooking up to it now." He did just that the moment he stopped speaking, fixing the dataunit to the console in such a way he would be able to retrieve the information from it.

[[come on lets keep it up I work this week so we want to blast it]]

Quenladose gave a nod of her head to that and thought about what they could do as she let him get to work. She would search around and he would be able to do as much as he could to repair it or try to. If nothing else they had the good old fashioned way... try to disturb something enough for a ghost to appear and talk to them... not the best idea but it was a possible plan as she thought about it and held a small smile on her face. "Alright lets see what you can do but there is no rush. I'll search around." She kept looking and moving things lightly around to not make to much noise.

Walking around the cityscape she pushed out her sense when she caught sight of uniforms, quickly concealing herself near a building she watched the badges walking toward an unknown destination, these ones seemed to be off duty.. but funny as it is, why would cops be here? She thought this was a derm graveyard.

Strange she quietly said as she watched then make their way through the streets while following closely, but not close enough to them for them to actually notice.. after some time she scaled the outer wall of a building and began stalking these law to determine what they were doing, yet she knew unless they had some weirdo spidey sense they would never knew she was there.

Visions were a fickle and funny thing. Something that had plagued Coryth her entire life, seeing the future. The rise and fall of nations, great wars, plagues, devastation and death in every form. They haunted her for sure. Plaguing her dreams as well as her waking hours. There was never an escape from them. Never.

And now, here she found herself coming to land upon Rhen Var. Why was she here? Visions. She'd seen the images of the daughter she had given up so long ago. They had been dominating her gift of sight, pushing her to follow them. The will of the Force could no longer be ignored. She needed to be here. It seemed, her past was about to come crashin in on her present whether she liked it or not. And for whatever the reason, the force deemed the need to be now, on this planet, this moment.

Frozen cold icy world from hell. Not exactly what I want to be tramping through. But I am not here for the scenery. I'm here for her. And there was a different and smaller reason for her presence. A singular crystal of unique powers. That was just a side benefit of being here. If she had her way, she'd get what she needed and find her daughter. If not, maybe just her daughter. Or the crystal if the Universe decided to be truly harsh to the tiny redhead who had endured so much.

Stepping off her ship, bundled to her ears in warm clothing, the tiny redhead started to make her way towards a cavern system. The one she had seen in her dreams. In her mind she knew if her daughter was here, and she did find her .. the reality of it, it wasn't going to be a pleasant meeting. It was going to be all sorts of awkward, and painful. In more ways than Coryth ever imagined. But you see, her visions did not tell her this part. No. Even the Force sometimes felt the need to keep some things veiled.

Elpsis had been wandering an indeterminate but probably rather long period through the vast caves of Rhen Var. Here and there more salvagers and rebels had gotten in her way, but sufficient of use high-calibre firepower, knives and punches had driven them off. It was still bloody freezing inside the cave. Snow crunching beneath her boots, the sound echoing across the caves, she finally happened upon what appeared to be a crystal formation. To be more precise it was a formation of lightsabre crystals. Even now with the Force being wonky, with her connection to the Force being so weak and untrained, she could not escape the sensation of power that was flooding her senses. Her head felt like it was spinning yet she pressed on, though she kept her blaster pistol tight in her grasp just in case as she approached.

Elpsis had actually never gotten around to building her own lightsabre during her very brief Jedi career, but then it had ended before she could even be formally assigned to a master as a padawan. It was, truth be told a time she would rather forget. Eyes fell upon the crystalline formations as she approached, taking in the sight. The sensation of the Force was awe-inspiring, yet deeply repulsive to her. Still, there was plenty of profit to be had, or at least she thought so.

It was then that she felt...her. It was a process that she could not explain. Certainly not through rational means, but abruptly there was a disturbance in the Force, as much as she hated that phrase. Then suddenly her head was overcome by a powerful headache that sent her mind reeling as suddenly an image flashed through her mind, no matter how hard she tried to blot it out and regain her senses. The image was that of a redhead...who was strange and yet familiar to her. She looked so much like a Jedi...so sickeningly much like them and she was coming, drawing closer and closer to her. Then abruptly the image was gone and her mind was free, leaving her with nothing but a bad headache. Mother, her jaw tightened, as did her grip around her blaster. Feth the Force. Now she was pissed.

She could feel it now, her body almost electric when she looked at what was there. She could see something in the distance, it was like a shimmer out of the corner of her eye while she moved to follow it leaving Solan to his work as he was moving. "I'll be right back if you get it working." She moved quickly letting her body dance a little as she kept following the image in her eyes until it led to a stone table with a sword on it. The cold metal frosted over as she lifted it up and the krath sword was pretty but not much of a weapon while she was moving it aside. There was more, some old molded notes that had been worn away but then she saw it... The image of a man standing there for a moment before she blinked with him disappearing. "Solan did you just..." She didn't know what to say about it other then asking it he got it working and was messing with her.

"General Sinopi, the main central city has been secured", the Commander of the Rangers informed her. "There was some resistance from a small group located in the trading quarters, which we subdue as they were armed with inferior weapons, however, I do not believe they are not the main criminal group. Scouts have confirmed a more trained group located around the central district toward the governing buildings".

"Thank you Commander, move forward toward the central district. I will accompany you". she said now picking up her pace. The Antarian Rangers mounted ground speeders dividing to run parallel to the main street. Coci jumped on board a small transport.

It was not long before the rounded the corner and entered the open area of the parklands, her force senses peak warning her of danger immediate. "Take Cover!", she yelled just a bit to late as the transport was hit by a missile, sending it sideways and crashing into the wall of a building. Although Coci had braced herself for impact, she was thrown backward against the side of the transport. Her armour would provide a saving of her body and child, however she is winded and struggled for air which was hampered by the compartment filling with smoke.

Coci hit the control panel to open the main door, but it had seized. The black smoke thickening and choaking, she and the Rangers began to feel the effects of the asphyxiation.

Central District

As Coci joined the Rangers in taking back the city, Thurion stayed behind to care for the civilians. With the help of some of the Rangers tasked to defend the Harbour he'd established a field hospital for any wounded civilians as well as Rangers injured in the operation. Seeing how the Force was still not to be trusted in its current state, which was alarming to say the least, he opted for a more traditional approach by tending to his patients as an NFU would. He'd been schooled in the art of medicine just as he had been taught Force Healing, so to get his hands dirty he had no trouble with.

Most patients were children who'd lost their parents, or vice versa, most likely in the cataclysmic event that had him and Coci and trillions of other people whisked away to that nightmare world. So many families had been torn apart from the occurence, and most would never get back together. Then again, with this other world appearing out of nowhere, it could just as easily disappear. Question is, then what happens to all those souls trapped within it? It sent a shiver down his spine, a sense of hopelessness. He would not allow his feelings to surface, however; these people needed his help.

But when he suddenly felt his beloved was in danger, he quickly left the hospital in the care of the many other skilled healers who had accompanied him. He found a nearby speeder and immediately took off. The Force was again playing tricks on him as he had trouble pinpointing her exact location. Sensing others through the Force was now more a blurred mess, like interference on a holovid, but he knew where to go nonetheless; Coci's essence would always shine the brightest when compared to any other, and so he steared towards the centre mass of it. She had to be there, somewhere.

Arriving on the scene of the flipped-over vehicle, it didn't take long for him to figure out that she was in it. Wasting no time he ignited his weapon and began the arduous process of cutting through the thick steel. Hopefully those inside would be wise enough to move out of the way once he broke through. It took longer than he would've liked, and once his blade pierced the thick hide of the armoured vehicle, smoke began to seep through which only had him work even faster. "Coci!" he called out as he began carving an opening large enough for those trapped inside to exit through. Once he'd finished and clipped his weapon back onto his person, Rangers started pouring out the underside of the vehicle where Thurion had cut through.

As soon as he was able, he went inside to look for Coci. It didn't take long to find her, and without hesitation he picked her up into his arms and carried her outside, free from the smoke. Moving away from the smoking vehicle into a safe area with lots of cover, he lay her down on the ground before checking her vitals. "Coci?" he asked as he placed his ear against her chest to listen for her heartbeat.
