OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: War Trolls of Garnash
  • Designation: Sentient [Limited in Maturity]
  • Origins: Techno Magorum Tribe
  • Average Lifespan: 30 years
  • Estimated Population: Planetary
  • Description:
    • The War Trolls of Garnash are large and formidable creatures, although smaller in size than the Exalted Abominations. They have two strong arms pulsing with muscles, with reddish pink skin that is common to all war trolls. Adorning their face is a large amount of teeth with a mouth wide enough to swallow small animals whole, and four yellow eyes that stare down at any opponent. They have sturdy and strong legs that support their weight. Although due to being monstrous units for the Techno Magorum Tribe, many of them have been augmented with technology and cybernetics to turn them into a more deadly force on the battlefield. Those augmentations included hammering metal plates into their skin, and some of their limbs have been replaced with large claws that pack a mean punch. Tubes and wiring connect the various systems added into the trolls limited brain, providing them with the ability to accurately use their replaced limbs on the battlefield. Once a battle is over, the Awakened Handlers will collect scrap on the battlefield and add them onto the war troll.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: Type I Atmosphere
  • Average Height of Adults: 9 feet (2.7432 meters)
  • Average Length of Adults: N/A
  • Skin color: Reddish-Pink
  • Hair color: N/A
  • Distinctions: Being made much like the Exalted Abominations, all war trolls look the same. Although as they gather more scrap from the battlefield and bring them to their handlers, they will be augmented with technology taken from the battlefield to turn them into more formidable monsters. Giving each war troll a unique appearance as they survive more and more battles and collect more and more armaments to add to themselves. A recently created war troll will have more pinkish skin to them and as they grow larger and older, they will develop more into the reddish skin colorations. Arimurkhan knew of the dangers of his first creation after the prototypes rebelled against him, and such gave them less arms but increased their curiosity to cybernetics and scrap. This also makes them more useful for bringing back parts to hammer down into vehicles for the Techno Magorum Tribe. Since there are no females among their ranks due to being a creation of Arimurkhan, they take some time to develop as the mutant formula and the power of the dark side fuse together to create something truly fearsome. Once they reach the age of 30, they will finally finish growing to 13 feet but many do not reach this stage because of their constant use on the battlefield against other infantry and medium vehicles. As the war troll survives longer and longer, there natural growth is increased and they become larger and more powerful over time as they survive.
  • Races: N/A
  • Force Sensitivity: Non-Sensitive
Strengths:
  • Small Regeneration: The War Trolls of Garnash has developed a small amount of regeneration due to a complication with the mutant formula used in their creation. Allowing them to mend small wounds such as stab wounds and small amounts of blaster fire. Although this mutation of the mutant formula serves them well as an attack force to stop an attacker.
  • Cybernetic Augmentation: The War Trolls of Garnash have been outfitted with cybernetic and scrap to make them into living tanks on the battlefield. Allowing them to survive much more punishment than normally would happen. This makes them perfect for holding choke points and smashing through light vehicles with their cybernetic claws.
  • Immense Strength: The War Trolls of Garnash have been enhanced with increased muscle mass, so much that they allow them to stand up to power armor in terms of pure strength. Making them perfect for taking down other heavily armored units on the battlefield, or at least slowing them down enough for other units to respond.
Weaknesses:
  • Ion Weaponry: The War Trolls of Garnash are vulnerable to ion weaponry because of their use of cybernetics. If these cybernetics go off line it will make the overall fighting strength of the War Trolls less effective than normal. Allowing someone to take them down because they will lose a majority of their weaponry to fight with.
  • Large Form: The War Trolls of Garnash are large monstrous creatures, which means that fitting into tight spaces and fitting them into troop transports considerably harder. This makes them unable to fight within small spaces, meaning that someone could force them into a choke point and kill them off without considerable effort.
  • Overwhelm Regeneration: The War Trolls of Garnash have some small regeneration of small wounds, but they can still be overwhelmed as their system fails. Meaning that someone could focus fire upon them without them regenerating from it, making them extremely vulnerable to units that have rotary weaponry.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Omnivore | Like the Exalted Abominations made by the Techno Magorum Tribe, the War Trolls of Garnash have the ability to eat both meat and plants to fuel themselves on the battlefield. Although they are often seen eating machinery parts because of their knack for machinery. Although due to limited food production for the tribe, vat grown meat is given to the war trolls to provide them with a full meal.
  • Communication: They communicate in broken galactic standard basic, although some follow the lead of the Exalted Abominations and only roar in response to questions. As they have been bioengineered for war and conquest. Like the abominations, they are well versed within the command signals of the Awakened Handlers within the Awakened Warhost of the Techno Magorum Tribe.
  • Technology level: The War Trolls of Garnash don't built things, they use technology provided by the Techno Magorum Tribe
  • Religion/Beliefs: They follow the Main Deity of the Techno Magorum Tribe, the Great Vortex of the Force
  • General behavior:
    • The War Trolls of Garnash are sentient and have intelligence capacity but lacking in maturity. Being engineered to be smarter than the Exalted Abominations, which allow them to follow orders without being needed to direct them to the next enemy formation. Although the handlers are often nearby to guide them into the next battlefield anyway. Their entire purpose in life is to serve as monstrous infantry units that can be used to support the exalted abominations on the battlefield. Supporting them as they smash through infantry units and light vehicles that try to challenge them. They are used to support the other monstrous infantry units by being shock troops, wearing down the fortifications of enemies so that the larger units can smash directly through. They have a life-span of about 30 years although most often don't reach that age due to their war like creation and the expectations for them to always be engaged in combat otherwise they will go soft. When not on the battlefield, the war trolls will patrol around camps and engage in battle with exalted abominations and various beasts captured by the Techno Magorum Tribe. Some have begun learning how to ride war beasts into battle to make them into monstrous shock Calvary to smash into enemy opponents and plow through defensive lines. The making of war trolls takes considerable less time than the making of exalted abominations, although it does take a few days for them to develop fully from the vats of mutant formula. The young variants of the war trolls will be trained by their venerable war trolls, teaching them how to fight and augment themselves with scrap picked up on the battlefield.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The War Trolls of Garnash were made a few months after the creation of the Exalted Abominations. Although the bodies of the prototypes were stuck in storage after the exalted abominations rebelled against Arimurkhan and his Mawite Tribe dubbed the Sorcerer's Host. Two such prototypes was taken deep beneath the tower of Sorcery and stored within a specialized growth and containment chamber, one was stored deep underground within dark and damp conditions and would become an experiment for the future. The second one was taken into the laboratory located on the 4th floor of the Tower of Sorcery, for the next experimentation process. Knowing that the Brotherhood of the Maw would attempt to destroy him if they should discover him alive after being listed as Missing in Action during the Mawite Annihilation of Csilla, the Capital of Chiss Space and the Ascendancy as a whole. The creation of another monstrous infantry unit was paramount, as the exalted abominations were hard to control and had suffered numerous side effects due to the stolen czerka mutation formula on dxun and the combination of his foul sorcery. Arimurkhan increased the actual power of the force in the creation of this new prototype dubbed the Prototype Mark V, with the increase in power and the specialized growth chamber the result was something that he didn't expect. An entirely new species created from the genetics of the exalted abominations was made and ready to provide another backbone for the Techno Magorum Tribe as a whole. The Exalted Prophet of the Great Vortex decided to call them the War Trolls of Garnash, named such after an ancient sith pureblood warrior known as Garnash who wanted to rise up against the Sith King of Korriban and launched a full scale rebellion against his iron fisted rule over the plant, only ending when garnash was slain and his body cremated. Not even afforded the proper burial rites that was common among his people.

Although like all creations of the dark side, they came with several risks and several rewards. The rewards being that they had developed some form of regeneration, enough to mend small wounds from blasters and stab wounds. Allowing them to tank much more damage on the battlefield. They have increased strength to deal with the brotherhood of the maw, whose units included those with power armor. Allowing them to stand up and match the strength of these brutes with the brute strength of their own. The last reward was that they had a strange fascination with scrap metal, and allow themselves to be augmented with cybernetics and scrap metal to make them into iron giants able to assist the larger and more vulnerable exalted abominations. The risk however are also evident and are recorded, such as they have a weakness to ion weaponry due to them being often infused with cybernetics, knocking them out and making them less lethal on the battlefield. There large forms make them slow and less maneuverable, making them not able to fit into regular troop transports and go into small rooms. Plus allowing them to be choke pointed and destroyed that way. The last weakness is that there small regeneration can be overwhelmed with heavy firepower from a rotary blaster. Arimurkhan accepted these weakness and went back to the drawing board to make a combination of the exalted abominations and the war trolls that had just been created. But for now these war trolls of garnash would provide the backbone and support for the other monstrous infantry units that the Techno Magorum tribe wields in its goal of the spawning of the Great Vortex of the Force underneath their Exalted Prophet of the Great Vortex.

Overall, another nicely detailed sub. Just one thing that stuck out to me as strange. You describe the war trolls as "only semi-sentient and have the intelligence capacity of a young teen." A young teen, as in a 13-14 year old human? That would be a lot more than semi-sentient. Young teens are learning algebra and how to use metaphors in the essays they write. They're making videos on TikTok, getting "the talk", and preparing to learn to drive. I work with them every day, so I would know.

According to the wiki, semi-sentient species "included species that had very primitive capabilities to manipulate tools, use language, and/or solve problems. Examples included the Arkanian dragon, the Zillo Beast, the Bafforr tree, the wampa, and the sarlacc." As far as intelligence, they might be on a par with a 3 - 5 year old child, but definitely not a young teen. I'd change this to either classify the war trolls as sentient but limited in maturity, as young teens are, or choose a different comparison to clarify semi-sentient.
