Welcome to the next round of my desperate attempt of gaining some active members for this faction lol.I have no fancy pictures, graphics or banners to go along with everything because I don't know who to use photoshop (I mean look at that disgusting attempt of a header lol.) so just imagine that this post is a lot more visually appealing than it actually is.
Lets talk division of the Chorus. We are all about free choices, and doing our own thing without to much systems around it, but people like to have goals and a sense of belonging for their characters, so I came up with a few things that fit both the general idea of the Chorus while offering those things:
The Tainted Legion: So truth be told, we are not about leading wars openly, but we still need some brute force once in a while, especially for the more criminal kinds of operations run by the Chorus.
What is the Tainted Legion then? Not an army, but rather a loose collection of mercenaries, bounty hunters, gangs and any other criminal who enjoys to shoot up thing in their free time. There is no command structure, individual parts of the Legion act on their own rules. What to build a squad and lead it? Do it. Just want to jump in the action and spread some carnage solo? Do it. Members of the Legion are advised to keep some contact to the other groups operating, but in the end its every men or women for themselves here. No honor, no camaraderie, but lots of looting, raiding and general misbehaviour. We also have a lot got clubs and bars were you all can go and get wasted after looting a city, so top that other faction.
The Swarm Initiative: Can we all agree that fleets are a thing for space fascists and squares in general? Good. Instead of having a tight, organized fleet, the Chorus prefers to run combat in space like they do it on the ground. Pirates, smugglers, scavengers and pilots for hire, here is your chance to loot, raid and smuggle even more. Enemies will simply be swarmed by a wide, chaotic group of random ships in all kind of sizes, poking holes in their oversized vessels until they break apart. The the good part begins. Looting. The Chorus has little interested in raiding worlds for money, as most operations are rather false flag or trick missions that are used to manipulate the situation itself. So you have a lot of freedom in stealing and scavenging anything that comes by while you work for the Chorus. Once fighting starts to bore you, the Chorus will also offer the opportunity to make well paid smuggler runs, including the transport of drugs and weapons into enemy territory.
Inner Eye: What good would be a faction like this be without a intelligence branch. The Inner Eye is the power that plans the operations executed by the other divisions, marking targets, collecting Intel, sabotage, creating civil unrest and propaganda. While the legion is the muscle, the Inner Eye is the brain and well ... The eyes of the Chorus. Going undercover on a enemy world, collecting Intel and working on slowly manipulating the population, planning a raid by the Swarm or Legion that will shake up the public order somewhere, and a lot more are part of your duty when working for the Inner Eye. Another part of the Inner Eye is dedicated to creating new tools and gadgets for the Chorus and its members.
The Followers of the Darkness: We don't a dominant force tradition, so all those that rely on the dark side in some way or another are accepted in the ranks of the Chorus. While they can chose to become part of another branch if they desire to, the Chorus offers training and refugee for all of them. We openly embrace the use of the dark side, and try to see every perspective on it, be it that of the sith, the witches, the dark jedi or any other group or individual that seeks to join our ranks.
