A ship designed to fulfill a long standing promise to members of the Underground who require speciality starships, the Svarog was created for Ijaat Mereel with several key components not found on consumer starships. Built from a restored D-5 Mantis Patrol Craft, a ship Coren Starchaser was familiar with as one was he had modified one for his late wife many a decade ago. The ship design criteria was very specific.
A mobile forge capable of getting into and out of very precarious situations, be it in space or on a planet.
The Svarog utilizes several Starchaser Enterprises technologies in different ways than their typical offerings. Solarium gatherpanels are placed on the ship to provide standard power to the two advanced offerings of the Tactical Shield Enhancer and the HIMS system. Should the ship fall out of hyperspace, the shields and additional doonium armor plating will allow it the time it needs to get to the next hyperspace jump before safely.
The ship is designed around a mobile forge concept, with an experimental solar ionization antimatter reactor to be warmed up and used while the ship is not in combat, to fuel the advanced molecular furnace which aids Ijaat in the creation of his arts. With a meditation chamber, and the majority of the prison cells converted to spaces to assist the forge, material gathering from hostile planets is a luxury this ship can provide.
The medical bay has been updated with the latest of Levantine Sanctum exotic world offerings, including an advanced medical droid to diagnose and treat various ailments, and a decontamination and quarantine system to treat and contain whatever wilds Ijaat finds. To assist in the gathering of materials, a second generation SERGIO Resource Gathering suit is provided to assist in the collection of raw materials and salvaged goods.
The ship has many unique systems, and with two sources of power, the ship should be used to either fly and not forge, or forge and not fly, and is never advised to be doing both at once. As the Solar Ionization Antimatter Reactor provides immense power, on the scale of a Star Destroyer or advanced corvette, the Svraog is not set up to handle this in the normal systems. The Solarium Gather Panels are designed to provide the extra boost beyond the ship’s standard reactor for the HIMS system and advanced shielding. This would not provide a stable power source for the ship's forge and related systems. Due to the experimental nature of the ship, the vessel is also coded with a distress beacon to be retrieved by the Starchaser Enterprises retrieval team should Master Mereel fall into distress.
