  • Holocron Name: The Stygian Codex
  • Alignment: Bogan
  • Origin: Darth Solipsis Darth Solipsis
  • Affiliation:
    • New Sith Order
  • Gatekeepers:
    • Darth Solipsis Darth Solipsis - Upon activation a holographic image of the Dark Voice is projected forward. The digital eyes of the Sith'ari burn bright yellow through the jittering blue image. He fixates a terrible glare upon whomever would access the secrets held within with obvious contempt and dark grimace. Staying true to the personality of it's original creator, the gatekeeper would only teach those whom he deemed to be true Sith, testing them vigorously. Even if one was deemed worthy, they would still have to find themselves on guard to the manipulations of the portly Dark Lord and his faustian dealings in exchange for knowledge. More than all else, the gatekeeper holds the Grand Plan of the Sith and the Sith Code as the utmost importance in sustaining the legacy of the Sith.
    • Darth Vinaze Darth Vinaze - The Eldritch Prophet was once a man, bound by mortal boundaries and limit like any other. Such trappings were shed long ago with his first death, a state taught in depth by the dark scholar turned ethereal prophet. He ascended beyond that which can be ascertained, existing here and there. Within the depths of his teachings lie the secrets of Sith Alchemy, the Legend of Ixigul, and the history of the Warlords of the Sith. The life's work of the Sith Master is honored in depth by the holographic counterpart, culminating in his search and discovery of the Sith'ari.
    • Halketh Halketh - Dark Lord of the Sith and Shadow Hand to Darth Solipsis. The warlord once known as Lord Halketh cast aside his old identity in the fires of tribulation, giving himself wholly to the Dark Side of the Force and becoming one of the most powerful Dark Lords of recent history. His sorcery and necromancy were nearly without equal or peer, and his rule infamous over the New Sith Order as it was brought to new heights over the course of the Second Great Hyperspace War. The details of his defection from the New Imperial Order, his assassination of Irveric Tavlar Irveric Tavlar , the sacking of the New Jedi Temple, and even the raid on Citadel Caelitus is documented in detail. The Dark Lord preaches patience, elaborating on the efforts and subtle hand it takes to cripple a nation. He recounts the near-death blow dealt to Solipsis in the caves of Ilum by the clever tongue and slight of hand he carried. The wisdom he gives is not to be ignored or glanced over if bestowed, ensuring the 'lesson' is learned by repeating in a loop over and over from the beginning until patience has been attained and a new understanding blossoms.
  • Description:
    • The Stygian Codex was a holocron of atypical design crafted by Darth Solipsis at some point prior to the dawn of the Second Great Hyperspace War and the Annihilation of Csilla. It was intended to be a repository of accumulated lore and wisdom until entry into the Sith Schism. The holocron would go on to document the philosophy of the New Sith Order, the history of the Maw's Dark Crusade, and the fulfillment of the Prophecy of the Sith'ari.
    • The repository of knowledge contained within is accessible to those proven worthy. In doing so generations of Sith Lords may learn and imbue their own teachings upon the Codex, furthering the strength and knowledge of all successive Sith Masters in the future.

  • Accessibility:
    • Blood: One must bleed upon the holocron to open it's contents and awaken the primary gatekeeper.
    • Worth: One must pass the tests given by the gatekeeper to prove oneself a true Sith worthy of access to the secrets here-in.
    • Speech: Ability to read and speak ur-Kittât and Balc dialect. No common tongue will be tolerated for long by the primary gatekeeper within.
  • Security:

  • The Stygian Codex contained information and testimonials from scavenged scrolls, ancient recordings, and information taken from various holocrons from various points of roughly five thousand years of Sith history, as well as an immense documentation of various force powers pertaining to the dark side. Darth Solipsis Darth Solipsis has collected and contributed to it’s knowledge base by leaving records of historical events, analysis of Sith practices, and lessons on the manipulation of the Force for over three decades by hoarding all his knowledge into one focal point.
  • Darth Solipsis:
    • Meeting the Dark Voice
      • The gatekeeper would greet individuals with contempt and a statement challenging them, testing their worth as Sith. Once the gatekeeper has been satisfied it would begin encouraging them to explore the powers taught within at their disposal, praising them for being strong enough to access the information within the holocron. The holographic Dark Lord would toy with them, attempting to get them to destroy themselves to continue weeding out the weak. Only a sharp mind could outwit the gatekeeper and truly utilize the secrets within with a dedicated mind. The information within the holocron was freely available to the user with the only stipulation being that the student keep to themselves the knowledge gleaned. To share power was to dilute it, a shared vision to further the Grand Plan and ensure the legacy of the Sith was all that mattered. Everyone else needed to find their own power.
    • Birth of the New Sith and the Maw’s Hyperspace War
      • The simulacrum would offer understanding of the history of their order and the birth of the New Sith Order from the wreckage of the old. From the beginning of the Sith Schism between the Warlords of the Sith and the Sith Empire to the rebellion of Ninn. It would note the necessity of the purge that began on Mustafar during the Great Gathering, continued in the shadow of the Brotherhood's invasions of Felucia and Thule where the Sith Eternal and Sith Empire were defeated with tremendous blows, and ended with the claiming of Exegol from whence Darth Vinaze Darth Vinaze proclaimed the prophecy of the Sith'ari had been fulfilled. Historical details of his manipulation of the Galactic Senate in detaining the New Jedi Order, the razing of the Hidden Jakku Enclave of Romi Jade Romi Jade , sacking of Coruscant, rise of the Brotherhood of the Maw and the Second Hyperspace War are all told through his eyes with firsthand insights into each affair.
    • Ideals of the New Sith
      • The Dark Lord preaches power and purity, notating the beliefs of Darth Bane and the Order of Sith Lords. The galaxy has been absconded, left in chaos and disorder, like a wounded beast it cries in agony waiting to be put out of it's misery. The Sith have been brought low, too long have they sat in complacency, bloated with power. Complacency breeds Weakness. Weakness begets Defiance. And so their high tower crumbled with the onset of the Sith Schism. The Dark Side of the Force is finite, a poison diluted between too many vessels, too many 'false' Sith who once followed heretical teachings. It was in need of concentration among the few in order to strengthen its potency. Kyber Dark was a welcomed sight, the first of many blows to the Sith number as they plunged into civil war. The Dark Side long choked by stagnation now began to shrug off the heretical filth that plagued it like a sickness. The New Sith Order was created as an answer to the failing Sith Order. And so the old order was shattered by the servants of the Dark Lord so that a new order could rise in it’s place to perpetuate the Grand Plan to restore Sith dominance over the galaxy. Unlike most modern incarnations of the Sith in recent memory, the New Sith Order wages war through stealth, patience, and secrecy.
Operating loosely on the principles of the Banite Sith, the Ancient Sith, and begrudgingly aspects from the One Sith. The success of these New Sith would be their adaptability and devotion to the Grand Plan as well as their strict adherence to the Code of the Sith. Their presence is felt everywhere, they are shadows that blend into influential bodies with the goal of corruption from within. Taking control where possible and twisting those around them into pawns in order to further the Grand Plan. Hell or high water, their goal would be to either take control over the galactic governments existing in the status quo or weaken them for the Brotherhood's eventual purge across the galaxy where it shall be remade in a glorious FINAL DAWN shaped by Sith Doctrine.

[Characters seeking to learn this power must emulate the path Solipsis underwent to attaining the true ability. The sacrifice of a Jedi upon a consecrated altar, tuning sigils such as that found in the Sith Cave or in the depths of the Sith Academy, and finally the channeled energy of the Dark Side must be harnessed and balled forth so that a doorway to the Dark Side itself may open. Characters must enter and brave the raging tempest within.]

[ Include a description of the holocron's history here. Describe who created it, how and why it was created, inspiration for its contents, any events tied into its creation and existence, how it came into the possession of the current owner, etc. If the current owner is diametrically different from its creator (ex. a Sith owning a Jedi holocron), feel free to include if and how that affects access or interactions. ]
