The Eternal Queen
Adarlon- Sanctuary building
The Archon paced back and forth in her new office. Well, it wasn't really much of an office. Until the furniture arrived for the room it was more like a small, empty closet. It was small like a closet, anyway. But Feena didn't need much space here. She took the smallest room she could find, saving the larger rooms for the more important things- the infirmary, the orphanage, class rooms... Sanctuary was gigantic, built from the remains of the capital cities own community center. And now, it was actually starting to look like what it was meant for.
"Lady Feenarah?"
Feena almost rolled her eyes at this. She had so many different things she was called. Archon was her title with the Templars, but for the citizens, she was 'Lady', sometimes 'Madam', sometimes 'Master Healer', sometimes someone would call her 'Director'. All of that was wrong. She didn't know how many times she would have to insist on being called Mrs. Mason before it finally caught on.
"Mrs. Mason, if you please," Feena corrected as gentle as she could, "Can I help you?"
"I err... just thought I should let you know that the dormitories are set up now. We are ready to open our doors at your command."
"Do it."
"You.. do not want to give a speech?"
"What would be the point of that? No. I prefer to get right to work if we could. No need for a ceremony."
The young woman bowed and quietly left the room, leaving Feena on her own once again.
