Speaking in cool terms, Vodet answers on the Solar Flare Technique but will direct students to other holocrons or Jedi that lived around 900ABY for further education.
CONTENT INFORMATION
The Solar Flare technique is known as a crowd control and delaying tactic that combines various lightsaber techniques and more than several consular-style Force tricks. The use of lightsabers, from single, to double-bladed, to two-sabers, to a more 'spell saber' technique, where one hand was kept free to effect telekinetic, barrier, or concussive Force Light strikes.
Following the forward of Coren, Vodet takes the students to a table of contents that goes through various Force techniques including mind tricks, illusions, barriers, Force Light (in ways that are easy to manipulate such as photon blasts or causing blindness, not the typical eradicate dark side use, plant surge, and stasis.
The lightsaber techniques range from single blade to double blade, to two blades and include a combat form without any lightsabers, and instead focuses on using inertia of a foe and the Force techniques above.

A new lightsaber and Force combat form out of Kattada. While the Unrelenting Sea is to keep an enemy on their toes, the Solar Flare technique is designed to stun and weaken foes during combat. Formulated after a major shift in the Kattada approach. Bringing in more peaceful resolution, from the Watchman path, and quick use of the lightsaber, inspired by the Wardens of the Sky, the technique began being taught as a method to tire out, or otherwise disable a dark sider, with aggressive lightsaber strikes as a last resort.
