DESCRIPTION

The Silver Wind had humble origins; beginning as one of the many Heavy Cruisers produced by the former Fel Imperium of the class Elliah. Following the successful campaign against the Sith Empire, the vessel would come into the ownership of the Imperial Knights' leader: Archmaster Josiah Denko, who would go on to utilize this same ship as his engine of destruction against the Sith-founded corporation Subach-Innes. However, when tragedy struck the nation in the form of the death of Ronin Fel, the once-proud Imperium soon fell apart and many of it's loyal citizens made their way southward to Josiah's home away from home: The Confederacy of Independent Systems. The former Archmaster was one of these individuals and brought the, then nameless, vessel along with him, where it was docked at Druckenwell Shipyards.

Due to being the spouse of the Viceroy of Chroma Zed, [member="Sophia Denko"], the design teams at Druckenwell Shipyards had no problem evaluating the Imperium vessel and found that it could utilize an update in complement and armaments. With Josiah's blessing, they brought the vessel to the standards which characterize the Confederate naval forces, going so far as to fill the notable Master's vessel with droids and starships typically exclusive to the Confederacy's armed forces. (This was prompted due to who he was married to, and the reputation he had built himself over the course of years of diligent service prior to becoming Archmaster.) When the update was complete, the nameless vessel continued to serve Josiah Denko, even up until the present. However, it was his current affiliation with the Silver Jedi that finally brought about a christening to the ship: The Silver Wind, in honor of the Order he now helps lead as "Keeper of the Code".

As a whole, The Silver Wind does not vary structurally with the others of the Elliah-class. Its frame and hull plating are both composed of Alusteel, reinforced with Titanium in order to afford the vessel a moderate degree of longevity in the event of a shield droppage. It's selection of armaments is the definition of Balanced and has a great sum of versatility. While this selection of cannons and warhead launchers does not heavily favor one type over the other, the variety is enough to adequately address a wide range of potential opponent: from starfighter to capital ship. What's more, the vessel benefits immensely from the presence of a standard, Confederate complement within it's hangar.

As has been the case since their inception, the Droid starfighters housed within The Silver Wind are subpar when compared to the average starfighter; lacking shields, armament, and overall size. However, with these intentional "flaws", the capital ship is then able to fit much more of them within the hangar space, thereby prompting "swarm warfare". In particular, the vessel is able to carry fifty percent more starfighters if they are of this droid starfighter caste.

All in all, The Silver Wind is a vessel of personal value to Josiah Denko and has been updated as a reflection of his service to two notable governments throughout his lifetime. It is poised to serve him admirably as he continues to guide the Philosophers of the Silver Jedi whilst also keeping a close eye on that which he cherishes most: his wife and child residing in the South.

I haven't reviewed everything yet, but a few things that stand out right off the bat is that personal ships can't be in excess of 400m without belonging to a faction. If Denko is a former archmaster why is he getting a warship after his retirement? And that chaff will do diddly for a kilometer long cruiser in regards to throwing radar tracking missiles off of it and that it doesn't have the agility to take advantage of it even if chaff did.

Whilst he was Archmaster of the Fel Imperium, this ship was his personal vessel. When the faction disbanded and the member base merged with the CIS occurred, it remained within his possession. Josiah is currently a member of both the CIS (major faction) and the Silver Jedi; so according to the rules he can utilize this ship in service of either. The Chaff Gun is more geared towards fire from smaller craft. It's a simple countermeasure that I've grown fond of, nothing more. If it's a dealbreaker, I'll remove it of course.

Affiliation needs to show the group it belongs to. It essentially says who pays the repair bill and employs the crew.
Please please please use the standard template in the future, it prevents things like your consumables from being dropped off, which they have and needs to be re-added, and makes it easier for the judge to see missing fields.

Regarding the chaff, I sent this to someone awhile back but it'll serve to illustrate why chaff wont work on a capital ship.

The flare system works by blinding a heat-seeking missile by making a large area flooded with high temperatures thus masking the plane's own heat behind a 'wall.' Chaff works much the same way but by giving the radar locking missile a splitting pattern so it has to choose which radar return to follow. Against a kilometer long ship with such a large cross-section the missile wont follow the much smaller return even if its the size of a fighter. Chaff wont be anymore distracting than anything else flying around in a combat situation. And on the size matter again, you don't see chaff or flares mounted on modern day navel ships for this exact reason. They're to large and slow to take advantage. Besides which, modern day missiles that a first-world nation can employ are already extremely immune to chaff and flare countermeasures and are smart enough to tell the difference between them and the target.
