Faction The Shadow Empire (Link Updated)

Shadow Empire

During the era of One Sith supremacy, the shadows were lurking with those who apposed the darkest of evils, fighting fire with fire. Lead by their king, the empire grew, and expanded. But as all things do, it came and went. The empire fell, leaving the people alone in the dark, afraid of what could come next. But the king has returned, bringing with him a rebirth. The Shadow Empire, the nation focuses on unity, and self sustaining concepts. Ideals are rebuilt and reshaped to accommodate with the changes around them.

The Crimson Covenant

The first thing to change among the others was the system in which Force sensitives corporate and work within the dynasty. Based on Hoth in the Academy of Bogan, the clans are being constructed as we speak. Currently, the clans do not have any interaction with the politics of the dynasty, and are able to focus on their training in the Force, specifically the darkside of the Force, but training within the light is not forbidden. Sith rituals are, however, frowned upon and closely watched by the clan leaders. The academy is lead by the Supreme Master who dedicates themselves to ensuring the academy stays in it's purest form of learning. The clans each have their own codes built around the singular idea of the academy's one and only code:

Do not fall prey to thy desires

The Paladins Guard

Those who lead the armies on the field, the Paladins Guard are loyal Force sensitives who wish to effect the outcomes of battle. They have no association with the Covenant or the Academy, and are involved with the politics of the empire. The Paladins Guards make up of ranks Knight or higher, with apprentices being messengers, and servants to their Paladin masters. This, however, is voluntary and apprentices can participate in battle, gaining the title Knight and joinging the Paladins Guard.

The Crusaders Legion

The military of the dynasty as stayed nearly the same, withe ground, air, and space sects all working side by side under one name, the Crusaders Legion. Any member of the legion, however, is not permitted to be Force sensitive, and should one be found to have a connection to the Force will be asked to join the Paladins Guard. This is to keep potentials from being missed, and balance within the many branches of the empire.

The Realm's Oath of Asylum

Traditionally built on the backs of outcasts, refugees, and exiles, the realm offers all asylum from the terrors and pain of war. Those who have no place to call home may call the dynasty home without worry having to become oppressed. By taking the Realm's Asylum, one becomes a citizen with freedom. The dynasty continues to keep this oath, and will forever honor it no matter the background, or culture so long as the laws of the realm is followed. Any may leave the asylum and return to where they originated from, and of course, they always come back to the welcoming arms of the empire.

OOC Fluff and Stuff:
The main goal of the Shadow Empire has always been, and forever will be a welcoming place for newcomers to dip their feet in the waters of Star Wars and Forum Role-play. While the faction will always have goals of expansion and more, the members' growth and experience will always come first. With that being said, all members of the dynasty are expected to have an open mind on the Force and Imperial rule as this is exactly that, a Imperial faction. Unlike, however, the various Sith Imperials and Remnants, and any other forms of Imperials, the Dynasty Imperial is much more forgiving and tolerant on things. Citizens have full freedom to come and go as they please. The initial lore is that the Shadow King made the capital (Eclipstica) a place of safe haven under his ideology and those who were able to accept his notions agreed to his ruling. No one is being forced to be under the empire's banner.

A large thing we want to bring to the table is that sandbox feel only role-playing can really provide (in my opinion). The Shadow Realm and empire space is our members sandbox to create and enjoy their imaginations to the fullest. We also want to focus on storytelling, and want to give our members a chance to participate in mini events create by the faction admin team similar in idea of the site's own major events. We encourage our members to ask questions and for help in their characters' development, plots, and other needs. We also want to give newcomers a chance to prove themselves in leadership rolls, and the ability to improve their writing in general.

If those interested do not see a sect mentioned above that interests them, but wish to join and create a sect of their own, it is more than welcomed. There is always room in the faction to grow, and expand beyond, the imagination is our only limit.

Please ask your questions below, and I will answer them to the best of my abilities. If I can't, I will do the necessary research to answer said questions.

Currently, our only other staff member is [member="Aedan Miles"] who can also answer questions if I'm not online or available.

UPDATE!!:

We here at the Shadow Empire plan to stay small until further notice, and want to do more of intra-faction thing (our own events and stories that dont really involve the other groups all that much). We will, however, participate in skirmishes with other factions when the time comes and we can do such a thing. We got another body on staff, Salvor Arnex Salvor Arnex a veteran to Chaos, a blast from the past!

The guy probably speaks for us better than I do, and that's why he's the man!
