The Sanctum Aegis Directive

CS3FUG8.png

  • Bill Name: Sanctum Aegis Directive
  • In Relation To: The immediate military and economic prioritization of Sith Holy Worlds and adjacent systems classified within the Sanctified Zone of the Stygian Caldera.
  • Proposer:
    • Darth Prazutis Darth Prazutis the Elysian Grandeval Mortarch, Shadow Hand of the Kainate, Sovereign of Dromund Kaas
  • Cosigns:
    • Taeli Raaf Taeli Raaf the Councilor of Science and Magicks, Mistress of the Order of Arcane Syn, Lady of Secrets
  • Threads:
  • Bill Summary:
    • This bill mandates the elevation of all planets with the designation of Sith Holy World to Fortress World Priority status, granting them:
      • Permanent Wartime Designation under the Kainate Strategic Writ.
      • Immediate priority access to military materials, shipyard production slots, defensive architecture, and Sith Legion reinforcement drawn from reserve pools and all peaceful sectors not under imminent threat.
      • Authorization for strategic requisitioning of supplies and labor from lesser systems in the interests of Holy World reinforcement.
      • Rapid deployment orders for Sith Legions to assume orbital and hyperspatial dominance over key sacred planets all throughout the Thandon Star Cluster and the Stygian Caldera including, but not limited to: Dromund Kaas, Ziost, Korriban, Krayiss II and more.
      • Installation of specialized defense systems, dark wards, interdiction fields, and planetary-scale shielding, at the discretion of regional Sith Lords and the Kainate.
    • In recognition of the burdens borne by the heart of Sith civilization, and to ensure internal cohesion and long-term resilience, the bill further enacts a temporary tithe and tax reduction for all systems within the Stygian Caldera classified under Kainate oversight.
      • These reductions will remain in effect for the duration of the crisis period, as defined by the duration of hostilities and the discretion of the Sith-Imperial Assembly.
      • The reduction shall not exceed 50% total deduction and shall be evaluated every 6 cycles for review and renewal.
    • This bill is introduced in response to actionable intelligence gathered by the Eyes of the Dyarchy, Order of Arcane Syn, and the Tsis'Kaar that the Imperial Confederation and its co-conspirators are plotting a campaign of sacrilege upon Sith sacred sites, an effort to break morale, sever lineage, and defile the centers of power binding Sith cohesion. The Sanctum Aegis Directive is the answer: A call to shield the flame of the Dark Side, not with words, but with steel, blood, and fortress walls that shall never fall.
  • Story Impact:
    • Shifts all Sith Holy Worlds into open military posture: Expect garrisons, blockades, and new orbital/planetary defenses as they are designated active warzones.
    • Opens RP opportunities for worldbuilding!
    • Ties into upcoming military campaigns and IC war strategy, creating a pretext for inter-factional tension and fleet deployment.
    • Allows Caldera worlds to benefit economically while reinforcing Sith and Kainate rule through 'benevolent necessity'.
    • Establishes narrative precedence for sacred world status having binding galactic importance, framing them as 'bastions of faith' not simply military assets.
    • Paves the way for new Sith infrastructure threads, diplomacy with local governors, and more!

Official Response – Office of the Governor of Polis Massa
From: Darth Virelia, Governor of Polis Massa
Subject: Vote on the Sanctum Aegis Directive
Disposition: Aye

Transcript Begins:

I cast my vote in favor of the Sanctum Aegis Directive.

There are moments in our history when the boundaries between ideology and survival collapse into a single imperative: endurance. This is such a moment. The Sith Holy Worlds are not merely repositories of tradition—they are keystones of our metaphysical gravity. To lose them, even symbolically, is to hemorrhage more than territory. It is to invite spiritual fracture, narrative collapse, and the emboldening of lesser foes who think our roots can be salted.

The Directive speaks to the necessity of fortified presence and coordinated investment in the Stygian Caldera. More than that, it asserts an elegant truth: that our sacred worlds are not relics to be displayed, but engines of continuity to be shielded with doctrine and artillery alike.

The temporary reallocation of economic burdens—through calculated tithe reduction and redirected logistics—is not charity. It is an investment in the Empire's long game, allowing our oldest strongholds to anchor the Sith future while remaining structurally and symbolically intact.

Let it not go unnoticed that this initiative stems from a rare convergence: intelligence, arcana, and strategic doctrine moving in concert. The Kainate, the Arcane Syn, and the Tsis'Kaar have sounded the alarm. It would be dereliction not to heed it.

I am satisfied with the scope and ambition of this bill. It empowers those best equipped to execute the will of the Dark Side—not merely through brute force, but through foresight, inheritance, and resolve.

I vote aye.

Darth Virelia

Governor of Polis Massa

The Holy Worlds are not just sacred symbols of Sith history and ideology, they are a strategic bulwark against our enemies, the importance of which is finally being recognised through this bill.

I vote 'Aye.'

ᴅᴀʀᴛʜ ᴀɴᴀᴛʜᴇᴍᴏᴜꜱ
Nay.

While I understand, as Lord of a world once besieged, the importance of protecting such strategic sites during a crisis, I believe the permanency of these changes calls into question the opportunistic nature of my former colleagues. The Holy Worlds and this crisis should be treated with the respect they have deserved for nearly 8,000 years of Sith history, not only a piece on the dejarik board.

Echnos pays it's tithes to one Emperor already, without question, on schedule. Our worlds should not also bend to the demands of a Kainate tithe for the remainder of our days only to strengthen a single campaign, which would achieve the same benefit from temporary arrangements.

That is all.
