The Return of the King (Don't be shy, jump in)

(XUNDURO'S STARSHIP)
Xunduro followed the Imperial destroyers. The question on his mind lingered like the thorn on a rose... Beautiful, but it stings. Xunduro was so happy to escape isolation, but it was thanks to a quest that included war...
It didn't seem like the destroyers had any awareness of Xunduro's presence. Or did they?
Xunduro used the force to reach out, to find answers. But his training hasn't taken him that far yet. Why was it this strange? Why did he leave his self training? He was comfortable on Ahch-To, he felt a sense of peace there. Now.. the rage was coming back... the Dark Side...
Xunduro couldn't resist, the rage gave him a sense of power, and power felt good...
"No" Xunduro told himself... "I won't let it consume me..."
Xunduro's words paused, as he had to refocus on the destroyers... He was quiet... He knew the Light Side brought him peace... But the Dark Side made him a warrior, a fierce one at least. Xunduro struggled between to balance these two personalities, it tore him wide open. But then, in a quick moment, something inside of Xunduro snapped...
"No" Xunduro told himself one again... "I won't let it consume me..."
"But it will POWER me...."
Xunduro then saw a nearby planet. Just the perfect time to descend on the destroyers....
And show them... The true power of the DARK SIDE...

She screamed into reality like a child coming forth from the wound. The Chimaera gleamed in the light of Atrisia's sun; the battle-scoring that had marred her magnificent hull having been repaired over the world of Gyndine. She was joined by a gathering of smaller vessels ranging from the more modern X-Wing variants to old Lambda class shuttles. At her flanks flew interdictors once sworn to the Confederacy of Independent Systems. In her wake came a score of scrappy vessels with markings of bright gold to mark them out from the more common vessels.

A simple identification code was transmitted to the Atrisian fleet, permitting the Chimaera and her constituents passage. She and her allied vessels moved in silence through the void, a gray arrow carving toward the heart of Atrisia.

She stopped once she'd found herself at the minimum safe distance from the world, from which she disgorged dozens of transports to the planet below. They flew in coordinated patterns of a militaristic tendency, each armed with payloads that might have seemed threatening were their visit a hostile one. The Chimaera remained on over watch, Admiral [member="Jagger Fuga"] having been given command of her and the rest of the Dominion presence whilst Mephirium was absent.

The mystery vessels landed to the confusion of some Atrisians, while the rest ignored it entirely. They were consumed with the return of their beloved king, and had little care for the presence of foreigners. It was only when the white boots of the 501st hit the earth that they began to take notice.

Three companies of the famed legion marched out into the front of the spaceport in what looked to be some form of parade formation. At their head stood a tall figure clad in armor befitting of a crusader with a long black cloak tied about it. His head was bare; Darth Mephirium wished to look this fallen king in the eyes when he greeted him.

The Chirikyat did not make this ascension alone. Behind him strode [member="Darth Malakai"], [member="Enma Jayss"], and [member="Grace Darkson"], three of his favored students. At either of his sides walked @Darth Ambroscus, his wrath, and [member="Darth Praetorias"], one whom's place in the hierarchy of things was yet undecided. Following them came a procession of acolytes and apprentices, some simple sycophants, others sworn to either of Mephirium's fellow lords.

In front of them all walked Darth Mephirium, the slayer of self-proclaimed gods and, in his eyes, he who wore the mantle of Dark Lord. Some among his constituents already called him Emperor. Those whom did not soon would.

In silence did the Dark Lord march. The men of the 501st parted crowds before him with hard stares and gentle shoves. An approach that would have taken an hour for most through this massive congregation took fifteen minutes.

He walked with an air of importance to him. The ethereal realm chastened at his approach, and the waters of the Great Ocean parted like in tales of ancient folklore before him.

The Dominion's Sith element had come to meet with the Atrisian king whom had assisted in their ascension. It was time to reward the fallen king's loyalty. The 501st meshed with the Atrisian Guard at the palace, the two units having fought together during the bloody assassination of the false lord on Coruscant. A handful remained with Mephirium, but most moved to assist in protecting the newly returned king.

Together with his constituents, Darth Mephirium marched into Mythos' throne room.

"Lord Mythos," Mephirium tilted his head in greeting, "I cannot tell you how pleased I was to hear that you yet lived, though your presence in the Great Ocean, or rather the lack thereof, confounds me."

With a tilt of his head, he indicated his constituents. "Darth Ambroscus and Darth Praetorias, my very close friends." He did not speak of those that followed. Any man worth his show would know their presence was a show of strength. With a slight bow that was anything but sincere, Mephirium's eyes fell to those other Sith present. "My lords," he spoke, amusement lacing his words like poisoned honey.

This entire trip was nothing more than a waste of time, Kruel knew it. This was meant to be a show of force yet also a greeting. A subtle backhand of sorts. They were the ones with power, if the decision had been left up to the Dashade he would’ve arrived on the world with just his apprentices and showed the Sith the true might of the coming empire. What fate they would truly face. Dressed in a set of black robes Kruel towered over everyone else standing at 7’5, even his compatriots were at the very least a foot shorter than himself. The feeling in the air was sickening, the cheers of joy and merriment as the Atrisian’s celebrated the return of their king. Such vile emotions, they would never provide nourishment. However, from within the palace radiated a dark energy. Kruel could feel it even from the Chimera.

Taking up his position on the right of Cyril, Kruel walked forward. Matching his ally Kruel had brought three of his own apprentices. Each holding special positions to him. [member="Akuma"], and [member="Seria Ventreme"] his hands would march obediently behind their master along Cyril’s own. With them would also be Darth Ambroscus’ eye [member="Dravis Rosilla"]. While there were more Kruel could bring there was no need to yet show the full strength of the Dominion. What could the pitiful Lords inside do against the mere forces that had currently been brought to the planet. Having to measure his strides to not overtake his allies Kruel walked alongside Mepherium his large gait taking up a good portion of the street. Atrisian’s looked up at the dashade a mixture of horror and awe at the creature. Not many of his species populated the galaxy and even fewer had been Sith Lords. Arms tucked behind his back the Dashade carried no weapons, not even a saber upon his hip. In Kruel’s mind it was an insult to show the other’s gathered he feared none of them and need not a weapon to defeat them in combat.

The aura of the force that had been felt from the palace grew stronger as they entered and the more they neared the throne room it grew stronger. Consume Essence allowed one to feed on more than just emotions but the darkside itself. Drinking it in Kruel entered the throne room eyeing the Sith Lords gathered. “Lords? They’d barely make a fitting meal.” Scoffing Kruel looked to the one upon the throne. There would be no bow given, if the Sith didn’t bow to Mepherium why would he bow to this one?

The Star Destroyer "Chimaera" exited Hyperspace and was followed by three Crusader Class Corvettes, as well as the Infineon. They then entered a defensive position to protect the Drop-ships as they exited the Destroyer. A fighter escort was also exited and as they entered the atmosphere then zoomed off to make a scout run of the planet. Jagger was now in charge of his childhood favored ship as well as the commander that was to protect his new Master. His protection was the utmost importance and he even with the protest he put up, he ultimately caved when the Kaiser said he would be taking a guard of his apprentices and Darth Praetoias. The Admiral stood at the bridge of this fantastic ship in his Red Uniform and hands behind his back. He scanned the surrounding area for any abnormalities.

"Ensign, our lord is on that planet so I want the search pattern tripled and launch the reserve fighter to secure a rough in case we are intercepted here." Jagger dictated to the Comms Officer. A Crisp salute was given him and returned to his station to dish out the orders. Jagger still standing at attention and looking forward. "Listen up ladies and gentleman we are only a couple hundred parsecs from Alliance Space, I want everything working and everyone on stand-by station, we have a few hours till the 2nd Sector Fleet arrives to escort the Kaiser as they went around Coruscant, get the job done clean and the Kaiser will praise our loyalty, Dismissed Sailors."

Jagger was still a little worries about this mission, but with the power that was brought to the ground people would not approach. The three corvettes entered a blockade position above the planet to stop any ships from arriving or leaving without his notice.

A Crewman stood at attention and stated, "Admiral, System clear of starships, yet there are many ships on the planets surface." Jagger nodded and the sailor went back to his position. A rather interesting development.

"Bring us out of hyperspace now."

"Yes, sir."

Sieb Tevv's big eyes blinked at the forward viewport as the ANS Moridena reverted to real space above Atrisia. "Hmph," he opened and closed his mouth at the sight before him. "Cut engines. Shields to full and charge weapons. Open a channel to those ships."

"Channel is open now, sir."

"Unidentified warships, this is Admiral Sieb Tevv of the Galactic Alliance Navy. State your business."

The feeling of Darkness was still a new sensation to Dravis. It once felt alien, oppressive, unpredictable, dangerous. Those that wielded it were more than men, more than Force-Wielders, for they wielded the most wicked of weapons; the Dark Side. Ever since he had embraced his Darkness, Dravis found that much of the opposite was also true. The Sith were just men, like any other of the galaxy. Men, who realized they were only mortal, but lusted for more. Dravis had this ambition within him, and that was what made him more than a man. That's what made them all more than mortal men. That was why the Darkness gathered in the Chimaera.

Dravis had followed his master, [member="Kruel Zing"], into this meeting without question. The chance to see what he might become one day enticed him into following at his lord's side. This meeting between greats was the perfect opportunity to watch, and learn. For he was the Eye of Kruel.

The Bith apprentice looked to his fellow learners, [member="Akuma"] and [member="Seria Ventreme"], with a wry smile. Hands were important to any body, as they did the menial labor. They handled the controls, wielded the saber, and punched the enemy. But without the Eye, without vision, the Hands would be swinging in the dark. After all, one found it difficult to move forward if they were blind. This was why Dravis carried himself with a haughty self-importance, chin held high like Darth Ambroscus. Well, until he saw the other Sith Lords.

Dravis stopped well behind his master, offering small bows to [member="Darth Mephirium"], [member="Darth Prazutis"], and finally, [member="Mythos"], whom the bow lingered for much longer than the others. These were who he wanted to be someday. No, that was who he was going to be someday. For now, he showed his respect the station of Sith Lord merited. He didn't speak, only letting his deep, infinitely black eyes pass over the assembled apprentices coldly, simply acknowledging their presence.

The Bith remained silent, letting the adults do the talking.

One day, perhaps he could join them.

"Sir, a fleet of stating they belong to the Galactic Alliance have hailed us." The Comms Officer stated in a slightly panicted voice. He was right to be so, the Admiral had seen the small but significant fleet before him. If they entered combat the fleet would possibly be able to hold out till they got the Kaiser off the planet, but not much longer.

Another GA fleet must be on stand by in a near-by system and as such the better option was to speak the truth. The GA had no claim on this system and as such had less right to be here over his fleet. He was still calm in the Bridge of the ship, a calm posture on the ship would calm his men as it showed he was not concerned by this possible threat that arrives before him. "Open the Channel Ensign." The Comms Officer did as he was told and a transmission came through the Terminal before him and the bridge was able to hear him. Weapons were still at half power and with the experience crew could easily be placed on full. "Admiral Tevv, it is a pleasure to meet your acquaintance, I have followed your career very closely and must applaud you for your true genius," There was a pause over the transmission, "Oh, where are my manner, I am Admiral Jagger Fuga, Ex-strategist of the now decease Republic, myself and my fleet are here under invitation of the King of this planet, and unfortunately I was not informed of a Alliance representative arriving, so I must ask what is your reason for being here good sir."

At this point he was truly grabbing at information. Equally they couldn't be here for them, their presence within the system was too early for Fondor systems to know they were here. The only answer was that they were just outside the system waiting for a reason to pounce if they were here for them. This would now be a game of whits, a game Jagger was all too good at. A small smile arrived on his lip as the tables were now turned on the Sullustan.

I am a son of the Mountain.
Regardless of how any individual in the galaxy felt about his Master there was one thing they could not deny, he had an exceptional sense of theatrics. As they paraded through the city streets Darth Malakai was ever alert, his main focus and orders during this mission was the safety of the Dark Lord. He had even been given orders to take command of the 501st upon their landing, it was not likely that anyone would be foolish or bold enough to attempt a strike here, but only fools let their guard down and Darth Mepherium was no fool.

As the congregation made their way inside the palace Darth Malakai branched off from the other's, watching as the 501st began to comingle with the palace guard. Security was a joint effort here so they were expected to work with the planet side police and palace security during their time here. Malakai looked to the black gauntlet on his arm, customized with a built in comm system. He activated the device before keying it in to the planetside comm systems. "All Company Commanders, this is Darth Malakai, prepare to move your units into position. Alpha Company, link with the palace guard and provide aid for palace security. Bravo and Charlie Company take pre-designated points with in the city, I want two exit routes prepared for the Dark Lord at all times. Delta Company you will work security at the landing pads and the spaceport. Company Commanders, I want check ins conducted every fifteen minutes. There will not be any mistakes today."

Malakai had heard of the exploits of the 501st before, they were one of the most accredited military units in history. In a way the Sith was excited to be given command of these soldiers, even if it was just for this one mission. Darth Malakai stood at the main entrance to the palace, watching as the soldiers took their positions, while a handful of the soldiers remained close to him most could be seen working with the palace guard, setting up defensive measures.

High an mighty pieces of chit. I could deal with those who truly held positions of power. Ones who had been killing, and destroying the lives of hundreds before I was even conceived as a child. It was others who didn't hold true power that I wanted to end with a rather gruesome display of violence. It was quite... ironic that the man who was claimed as my masters eye, was of a species who was known to be nearsighted. Even more so, I would have been very happy to have a sonic grenade and attach it to the creature's bulbous head and watch as the sonic waves caused the creatures head to explode like fireworks.

However, I would not question my masters judgment for now. Becoming in the position that I am at such a young age. I was told this various times. Honestly, I felt as though I didn't deserve the position. I was once a slave. An assassin, and now just a rogue murderer who banded with a Sith who seduced me by the dark abilities of the force. I knew that I would be corrupted. However, I did not care how I ended up. I only wanted my goal to be completed. Not even this Bith, or the other hand of my master would stop me.

It was tine for us to show a force to be reckoned with. It was time for us to expose ourselves to the Galaxy, and become what Sith were meant to be. While most of us were in fact, Sith, others were Dark Jedi, or even Neutral force users. I believed we even had a Jedi among us. However, I couldn't figure out who this individual was. For the sake of my mission, I stayed silent as I walked behind my master. Shaking my head as the Bith held his head up high, like he owned the ship.

Smiling, I used the force and pulled on a screw. The Bith's robes slowly trailing over the ground and caught on the end of the screw, and it slowly began to yank at the cords of his cloak. Hiding my face, I walked behind my master, and bowed ever so little to the other Lords in the room. For now I was working for, and with them. Even as I had my masters mark upon my neck.

I hated every moment standing here.

"Greetings Admiral, we were pulled off routine patrol out of Khomm to investigate suspicious activity in this system."

An aide approached Sieb and they exchanged whispers. Sieb nodded grimly, then turned back to the call. "Do you see that dark splotch on the planet below, Admiral?"

Darth Erebos said:
The force storm followed after the ships as they made their way into orbit, blackening the skies above Jar'kai as the three ships came down casting their shadows down upon the city bellow. The Kevn hovered right over the plaza that lead to the palace as the small shuttle came down to land were they had been asked to land. Within the storm rolling around overhead ghosts of plasma and flame dancing along the clouds and hurling lightning down into the areas surrounding the city.
"We confirm it as a force storm. Powerful Dark Side art. My sensor officers are also receiving confirmations that those other warships in the system," of which there were a great many, "are the ships of known enemies of the Galactic Alliance. Are you in league with them, Admiral?"

Mythos said:
it took courage for the Wyrrlock stardestroyer to make the jump into Atrisian space

Out of hyperspace descended an massive Immortal-Class Dreadnaught designated by markings as the "Harbinger". The massive ship was paired with a Dark-Blade and surrounded by a small flotilla of star destroyers and frigates. As the ships moved towards Atrisia now right next to the home defense fleet every single ship was designated with the phoenix sigil of the royal House Zambrano.

She watched as the result of their labors began to filter in stone by stone, so carefully had they had each stone removed from the ancient temple. Ren stepped closer drawn to the stones, the ancient writing had always fascinated her she could not help but walk closer. Her gaze went from them to [member="Mythos"] she smiled but then immediately her gaze went back to the stones.

What they had discovered over those days on Korriban what it had cost them, what it had given them in strength and power. They continued to dig for more information throughout the galaxy wherever there was mention of a temple a hint of a relic, a datacron, holocron, even as much as a remainder of a rune Ren went with a team to dig through the sand, rock, depths of the oceans to seek out whatever it was to find it and discover what it led to.

She used her gifts to see the future for him, and her ability to find the past to build his kingdoms. She looked at those gathered now with him each of them called for reasons perhaps they did not understand, but each with a purpose, just as she had her own purpose.

She had said nothing all this time she looked at her son standing nearer to his father now listening, watching intently, taking each word harboring it for discussion later. She knew him this well.

"It is possible that all of this had led to this moment" But it was not something she had seen, sometimes that which involved herself she did not see. It was something she hated about the gift. And time was fluid, it changed as events and people changed. "He has always kept his word, if he says he would die for you, he means it"

" This planet reminds me of Naboo." He whispered to himself and entered the throne room some time after the Dashade [member="Kruel Zing"] arrived. Their were better things to get done then meet up at Astrisia but Nulgath held a very specific message and rumor had it that the King had indeed returned for his throne. For now all the decaying Epicanthix could do was wait till his allies were done speaking. Nulgaths figure was shrouded in what seemed to be lightly armored robes. The Entirety of his face was covered in darkness leaving only two red eyes that could be slightly seen. A glance fell on [member="Darth Erebos"], [member="Darth Prazutis"] and then to [member="Mythos"] himself who sat apon his throne. There was only one among them that might be able to identify Nulgath seeing as them met recently.

The Palace throne room was quite astounding from a architects outlook, this pleased him greatly. Although his body was degraded, the little things still made him feel alive. This was one such moment that he could relish. Taking in a deep breath Nulgaths eyes continued to gaze at the ceiling of the room.

Jagger had no idea what this creature was speaking of, his mission was to protect the Kaizer and if that meant sacrificing himself in a blaze of glory then so be it. However this man seemed to be nothing like the file he had before him. His spies were working overtime as this man was now spouting nonsense over the recorded channel. Sensors that can sense on the level of Force Users, no tech like that was ever heard by him or any of his spies.

As such he turned to his Sensor Officer who just shrugged and continued to work on his counsel. The Commanding Office then turned to the terminal and forced the words out of his mouth, "You must forgive me good sir, but are you saying the Galactic Alliance has such advanced Technology that you can scan planets for either Jedi or Sith alighted magic let along sensors that can read their Magic outright?" Jagger started to clap over the radio, "The Alliance has truly broken all bounds of technology, and truly I would like to possibly ask how this Tech works and maybe work together, but I must still ask, what does this have to do with an Alliance Battle Fleet being in a Neutral System, dont you need approval from the Alliance Senate to even be here without a representative?"

Jagger then sent a broadcast to his lord, [member="Darth Mephirium"], he would truly be interested in this new Tech, "Without such orders from your senate I will have to ask you and your fleet to please exit the system without a formal invitation from the planets government who is currently in a private meeting with delegates I have sworn to protect, so please power down your weapons and transmit your orders or leave the system peacefully, I truly wish for you and the Alliance to have a peaceful day on your journey back to the... What was it, ah the Khomm System, thank you Admiral."

"No, I wouldn't say advanced technology. Just one very tired Jedi."

Sieb's mouth opened and closed beneath fleshy flaps. "As for the senate, the Alliance has none. Admiral Fuga, I'll ask you once again, are you in league with enemies of the Galactic Alliance?"

Tarok was standing on the command bridge of his master's ship along with one of his other apprentices [member="BladeRunner"], it was boring staying behind nothing was happening just dead space. Some time passed and still, nothing was going on until an officer called to him. "Sir ships are exiting hyperspace they're sending out an open transmission" Well they day has gotten interesting tarok thought. He gave orders in his calm tone " I want to hear what's being said and send a transmission to our lord he needs to know of this. I want shields powered up but keep the weapons half power no need to start this conflict." the crew looked dumbfounded most likely not expecting the quick orders of someone who hasn't spoken to them yet.

The next move was this galactic dog's would he become the hypocrite tarok thought they were or would he surprise him and be a symbol of peace.

Straight Outta The Unknown came the Audacity and an assortment of ships from other nearby systems along the tendril that went from Coruscant to the Outer Rim. Even as the ships were moving into position the Jedi Knight could see on the sensors that several more ships were coming in on the long range sensors and moving into position. After [member="Sieb Tevv"] arrived after an alert of there being a massing of warships, warships that have had ties to enemies of the Galactic Alliance, several Alliance planets had mustered their defense forces, sending some portions towards Atrisia immediately.

Best to neutralize the threat immediately.

Besides, a grouping of Sith so close to Galactic Alliance Space wasn't a pleasant thought.

So they mustered.

"What a lovely planet."

Hyperdrive engines powered down all throughout the naval force. Weapons were armed and shields came online. The ships moved into position, specifically, closer to the planet.

The message from [member="Jagger Fuga"] came in clear as day.

Mephirium cracked the thinnest of smiles. "It seems we're all damned together now," he rumbled with quiet laughter. "We may have came here as foes, but upon this night, we shall become brothers."

Jagger was nearly in an angered fit with the logic of this man, the GA had no reason to be here in a neutral system. Jagger looked at the crew of the ship and walked in a circle for a second as he entered the mans words into his head. Then when he had the words in his head and sorted them out, he realized this man was truly lying through his teeth. He entered a calm state of mind and returned to the terminal. "Admiral, I thought you said your sensors were the ones that picked up the readings and now you have a Jedi aboard your ship, I must say the resources of the Alliance truly are vast, and truly I had no idea the GA and is people where at war, that is truly displeasing to hear coming from a citizen of a nation that was destroyed by war, we have no alliance that could threaten our peace with the Alliance so please send over those Declaration of War as well as those News Articles that state the disbandment of the Alliance Council, once these are represented I will send them to my master and then we can discuss this like civilized sentient beings."

The Admiral turned from his terminal to radio his master, but then stopped half way, "Also Admiral, my men feel a little uncomfortable with your weapons powered up and since I have no weapons active I must ask that you stand down until this situation is sorted out."

"As long as forces of evil exist we'll always be at war, Admiral. I'm afraid that will be a negative on powering down the weapons. It appears we are at an impasse."

He cut the line and turned to an aide. "Alert any Mandalorian patrols in the area. Our hands might be tied for the moment, but the Mandalorians' most certainly will not. Comms, request aid from the Naboo task force and send a call up the line to the triumvirate to alert them of this situation."

Baric had been watching as an observer from the Brimstone-class assault cruiser 'Celestial Knight' but with the GA beginning to escalate he felt it was pertinent to jump in.

He began an encrypted transmission "Admiral [member="Jagger Fuga"] I am joining you battle lines, one assault cruiser coming in one your six"

Closing the line he gave the order to his helmsman, "Do it."

The ship made it's brief jump and pulled into line on the starboard side of the Chimera.
