The Recusant Threat - TSE Dominion of RZ7-6113-23 | Hex AH,11

MCi9Xso.jpg

Sparks flew as welders continued to patch together part of a massive durasteel wall, the grim-faced worker momentarily taken a second to wipe away the grimy sweat from his brow before he re-masked and threw himself back into his task. It had been grueling work restoring this base, centuries of neglect have rendered it practically unusable. But never underestimate the tenacity of dedicated workers, they managed to turn it around into something resembling a supply depot and strikecraft base.

Down below on the flight deck, several equally grim looking officers poured over astrological charts and logistic reports, talking in stern hushed tones amongst one another despite the cacophony of work and toil raging around them. Though their uniforms were almost identical to that of the Sith Empire’s, the insignias they wore were vastly different from the crest worn by the Sith.

A six-spoked wheel surrounded by twelve five-pointed stars, the symbol of the Recusant Reformation Movement; better known as the Recusant Empire among its members, and the Recusant Insurrection among members of the Sith Empire.

Months ago they had organized a failed assassination of the Sith Emperor, Darth Carnifex, and ever since they had been hiding out in Wild Space to escape the cruel blade of Sith justice. In that time they had discovered a forgotten fortress on the distant world of Mytus VII and a massive shipyard complex around the world of Morellia. With these in hand, the Recusants began to plan for their inevitable battle with the Sith.

Now it was all coming to a head. Old data had led them to this abandoned storehouse deep in the Chopani Sector, which they had occupied and began to restore to use as a springboard to launch attacks against the Sith Empire’s northern territories. Though they had been successful, they had no delusions that the Sith would eventually find them.

They just didn’t expect it to be so soon.

Three Marr-class Star Destroyers popped out of hyperspace beyond the asteroid ring surrounding the depot, sending off warning klaxons throughout the station. Fighters were scrambled to engage the ones being deployed by the Sith while the soldiers on the station prepared for boarding Legionnaires.

A distress signal was dispatched out to the nearest Recusant fleet, which began to move through the Chopani Sector to reinforce the assailed base.

The first open battle between the Sith and the Recusants had begun.

Objective I: Recusant Base
Intelligence reports have indicated that the Recusants have found the remains of an ancient Imperial base on a class-6 planetoid out in the Chopani Sector. More recent reconnaissance details that the Recusants have rebuilt the base and are using it to raid nearby Sith-Imperial provinces disguised as pirates. This threat to our sovereignty must be eliminated.

Objective II: Mining Station
Several automated mining installations have also been discovered by our recon teams, all of which are under the control of the Recusants. Eliminate any enemies in the region and reprogram the automated facilities to serve the true Empire.

Objective III: Duel in the Void
The majority of the Chopani Sector is emptiness marked by several buoys of asteroid clusters and dead star systems. A sizable Recusant flotilla has been spotted in the Sector, and thus a taskforce has been dispatched to destroy it before it reaches its destination.

She was on a drop ship, with some of the Blackblade Guard. She was still needed to get changed, as she was in her casuals. So she started getting into her hide armour, after she got it on. She turned around noticed they where looking at her, she could not figure out why. What, what did I do? They did not answer, and just then as like get out free card, the pilot voice cam over the intercom. Please be ready, we about to make a hot landing. They weren't wrong ether, the second the ship landed it was hit. Smoke started filling the cabin, and the cock puit appeared to be on fire. The BlackBlade guard, where trying kick the door down. She got scared, and then the force began to fill with strength, and she started to go in rage. Her eyes began glow yellow, and guards got out her way, she was known to kill her own if they got in her way. She stormed forward, then kicked the door down, smoke that was filling their postion, began pouring out of it, she stormed forward. She shot at by blasters, and she was unable to block them. Though thanks to her rage, and armour they where not slowing her down. Though force knew she was going feel it later, once she calmed down. She then saw the first of the enemy, she decapitated him and then picked up his head. Her fingers popped his eyeballs, as she grabbed it like bowling ball. Then throw it at another man, the guards where pouring out. They now starting to take over the docking bay, she was slicing and dicing anything near her.

Dubiety had never been much for combat during his years in the Academy. Sorcery took too much time to use properly, and at the time he wasn't able to speed up his spells enough to be properly effective. That changed as he grew in strength. And with the Recusants attempt to regain power it gave the acolyte the perfect chance to show himself off. And of course, solidify his bond with Ryder.

The Gen'dai Human hybrid was a curious man with a respectable set of morals tempered by the desire to do what must be done for the sake of their continued advancement within the Sith. Dubiety stepped onto the station just after a contingent of Blackblades carved their way through the entrance, his staff in hand. "We leave none alive. Any prisoners will be used as experiments and fodder. Those who stand against the Empire must be taught a permanent lesson."

[OBJ - 1] Preparing to land on station
Objective | Eradicate insurgent forces

Cara would be standing in the hangar of one of the Star Destroyers zeroing in on one of the Recusant Empire's bases of operations, taking a tool to her mechanized arm as she made adjustments to it and fine-tuned the motor functions in preparation for the upcoming assault. The mission briefing was quick and simple; locate the enemy station, board it and eradicate all traitors on site. Her fingers would curl up and clench into a fist before relaxing, repeating the motion several times before she was satisfied with the results as she stowed away the tool. She would bend her elbow a bit before standing up to make her way over to the line of armor stands that held up the Dragoon suits of her and her men. Some were busy running weapon and gear checks while others were running diagnostics on their suits and the rest were already suited up and ready to go. She would make her way over to hers as the back opened up and allowed her access to slide herself in. The suit would seal itself with a hiss as the inner layer pressurized and adjusted the internal temperature to keep her at a comfortable level. Diagnostics would come up on screen; everything checked out green. A pitched beep was heard, indicating an incoming transmission from General Vexen. His ghostly image appeared off to the side on the inside of her HUD as he spoke, " Wipe them out Captain...All of them. No survivors, no mercy for traitors. They are a blight and you are the cleansing fire that will purge them. " Cara would nod as she responded with a short and simple answer of acknowledgment, " Understood General. Captain Dalgas out. " The transmission would end as Vexen's face disappeared as she locked her assault blaster to her shoulder.

Her squad would soon be fully ready and equipped, having donned their armor as they made their way to one of the many loaded transports prepping Legionnaires to be thrown at the enemy in an unrelenting tide of fire and fury. Twenty armored Dragoons and a dozen Nightseers were prepped for their attack as they patiently awaited their arrival. Cara would turn to her squad as she gave them all a nod. " Remember troopers, we're here for one thing and one thing only. Eliminate the insurgent forces with extreme prejudice. No one is to be left alive. Understood? " Her response was a unified stomping of feet acknowledgment as they locked themselves into their harnesses. There would be a subtle shift in gravity as the Star Destroyers slipped out of orbit, followed by the subsequent takeoffs of fighters and transports as they began the attack on the enemy station.

[Insert Clever Joke Here]
Objective: I

"Legionnaires will soon be attacking the base. Intel suggests that repairs haven't yet been completed on sector delta-five, and that is where you shall begin your infiltration." The hologrammic figure delivering the orders flickered as the Star Destroyers left hyperspace, and alarms began blaring as the shields started to receive fire from patrolling enemy fighters. Kallun glanced up at the massive blast door of the hangar bay as it started to retract, and fired up the engines on his personal fighter.

The distortion of the hologram subsided quickly as the radiation dissipated, and it resumed its instruction. "Your target is the Major Oron Cartus, a recent traitor from our ranks. Intelligence suggests that he has yet to reveal the majority of what he knows, as he intends to use his knowledge as a bargaining chip for better positioning." The scorn and derision in the figure's tone was extremely unmistakable, though Kallun remained silent. It wasn't his place to question the emotional state of the person commanding him; he would kill as needed, regardless of his superiors' feelings on the matter.

"He shouldn't get the opportunity to do so. Find him and kill him—and whoever else you need to to get to him. Our forces won't be alerted of your presence, in order to maintain secrecy. Try to avoid getting caught in the crossfire." The speech stopped for a moment, and the figure made eye contact with him. Twi-lek, the handler seemed to be. Kallun remained silent. "If you should fail in this, don't bother trying to return. It won't go well for you." Then the hologram cut out.

Kallun snorted at the threat. It was a useless warning; Kallun didn't fail. Kallun never failed.

As his starfighter lifted off and shot out of the hangar, he underwent the change he often did for assignments. While Kallun Hart may have been his birth name, it was an identity just as false as any other he held. For this, though, he needed no false identity. It was time to strip away the trappings of personhood, layer by layer, until the base layer was reached.

By the time he reached his infiltration point, ejecting from his starfighter and force-cushioning his landing in an as-of-yet uncompleted section of the base, the assassin was no longer a person. There was no room in the assignment for a proper man, with thoughts and feelings unrelated to the assignment at hand. The assassin had stripped himself down to nothing more than pure, murderous intent.

Stunned workers fell back in surprise and fear as the TIE/K fighter turned around, autopilot returning it to its carrier.

Bright work lights were met by the reddish glow of a pair of lightsabers, mutilating the shadows on the floor.

And before any of the workers could properly scream in terror, the lightsabers were flung; two workers were quickly bisected, while the third was telekinetically thrown into a wall, his body being destroyed with a sickening crunch.

The assassin called his weapons back to his hands, while looking around the room. It seemed he'd dropped into a smaller storeroom on the edge of the facility. Good. "Ingress achieved," he mused, placing the weapons back onto his belt.

And, with the click of a button, he disappeared into thin air.

OBJECTIVE II - Capture the Mining Station

Lady Saako was in the assault ship with her handpicked team of Marine Commandos. They were to capture the mining station and turn it into an Imperial asset. Saako had her own personal ends, namely to allow her company to establish a wharf at the station to export the minerals mined to the soon-to-be-colonized world of Amandras III. This would allow the planet's industries to work at much a lower cost and boost economic growth in the essential nascent years of the colony. Moreover, it would give Saako Exploration and Shipping an excuse to expand its workforce.

As the assault ship approached the facility, the Marine Commando captain informed Lady Saako that troops had already begun boarding the station. One [member="Hailey Sosis"] had already begun the attack. As news of this came to Saako, she activated her comm beacon and contacted Sosis.

"This is Lady Ela Saako. I have 80 Marine Commandos ready to board. What is your status?"

She heard an irritating noise in her ear, however she was still in a force rage. She could not make sense of it, then she kicked an imperial officer. He went splat against the wall, she then punched through his rib cage. Then she pulled out his still beating heart, then used her eyes to burn it. He looked on in horror, as he died bleeding out, in esquit pain. As she was still on a rampage, one the BlackBlade guard replied to the Lady, This Captain Lucas, Hailey is a bit indisposed at the moment. We have all most took the landing zone, the imperials are being broken. Though in background she would be hearing people yelling in pain, blaster fire, and then a deathly silence. Apart from a voice of Hailey, she was screaming, as she was coming down from her high, now there was nothing to kill. Though the was plenty more, but they where setting up defences, deeper inside this was just the breach. She had a medic come over to her, they began treating her blaster wounds. She would be dead, if ti was not for the rage. Though rage itself hurt her, she would need a little while to recover. Then Captain Lucas contacted the lady again, The landing zone is now secure, your reinforcements will be welcome.

Equipment: Lightsaber, Armor

It was certainly different than an operating theater.

The call had come a few weeks back. She knew that she’d been spending too much time on Coruscant, away from the Empire as they closed in on the Tingel Arm, blanketing the old Silver Jedi worlds. It wasn’t as if another light-sword wielding sociopath would have made all the difference in the Empire’s conquest, but perhaps this was about upholding the family name, or perhaps [member="Darth Carnifex"] thought it was time for her to expand her abilities as a force user. Farah’s interest in medicine had not waned, but the doctor couldn’t deny that there was a certain charm to handling a lightsaber.

Like a plasma scalpel, only larger. Hotter. Meant for severing limbs and bisecting and body in one clean swoop, not repairing vessels and resecting organs. Well, not in that way.

They’d intercepted the Recusant flotilla with ease, a feat that Farah was impressed by and had nothing to do with. Space was not her forte. The Zeltron had no issues taking part in a boarding party and being put in charge of a group of soldiers. Her residents could attest to the fact that she was very, very good at giving orders.

She watched from the helm as an assault tube was launched into the enemy’s hull and let out a low whistle. “The methods you people come up with.” It was unclear whether that was praise or an insult.

She turned on her heel and strode off, figuring that preparations would be complete by the time she reached the docking tube. Maybe she’d find someone interesting aboard the opposition’s vessel!

HIMS Dowager
The Dowager made her way through the kaleidoscope of hyperspace, a sizeable fleet had been spotted out in the Chopani sector. A sector that was largely empty save for the bouies. Lord Admiral Raaf had been dispatched to deal with them before they reached their destination. "Status Sentongo?" Raaf asked looking over to the newly minted Commodore, Sentongo gave the Lord Admiral the numbers they weren't too far off from their revision point. Intelligence reported that the Recusants had restored an ancient Imperial base, how kind of them, the Galidraani thought. She saw them as little more than a nuance but knew better than to underestimate an opponents skill or fire power. As the Battle of Csilla proved that much, her attention now turned to the fleet that she would be facing.

Commanders Martinez and Berger now stood beside the Lord Admiral and Commodore at the command center, the pit, the bridge the name seemed to be interchangeable. Task Force 79, or the Special Group as Lord Admiral Raaf deemed them readied themselves. Gunners to their stations, defense specialists, and systems specialists to theirs each person to their place. The sleek hull of the Dowager reflected the hue of hyperspace as the engines hummed without fault. Raaf sent out final commands to the group captains as the Task Force prepared to revise into realspace. "Revision in two minutes," an officer on the bridge called out and the crew prepared themselves, and as the seconds ticked down she reminded herself that there was meaning to this. The people of the Sith Empire needed to know that there could be no way out, such thoughts of insurrection must be extinguished before the conflagration consumed them all.

The warning klaxons continued to blare as soldiers, former Legionnaires, scrambled to their battle stations. They brought with them ferrocrete barriers and mounted blaster cannons, transforming the halls leading away from the hangar bays into redoubtable choke points and kill zones. Blast doors were partially closed with just enough space left open for soldiers to scramble through should the first barriers be breached, allowing them to close the blast doors completely if needed.

Every soldier knew that this may be their last battle, but it would be one waged for the ideological heart of the Empire they had come to love and serve. The Recusants viewed the Legionnaires facing them as wayward brothers and sisters, tainted by the dark miasma of the Sith into becoming pawns in their unending religious war against the Jedi for reasons that had long since faded to history. The Sith-Imperials viewed the ex-Legionnaires as heretics, rabid animals who had strayed from the glorious path set down by their Emperor, worthy of nothing more than abject destruction.

No quarter would be given, mercy non-existent in their hearts.

And as the first transports made landfall in the sparse empty hangar, the Recusants opened fire with everything they had. Laser fire and short-range missiles flew through the air, striking several vessels and scything down the soldiers that emerged from them. But the tide was monstrous, the Sith had warships nearby from which to restock and regroup from. All the Recusants had was this station, their reinforcements still too far away to be of any use.

So they fought with the fury of cornered animals, virtually suicidal at times. A battle to the death.

OPERATION: RECUSANT BASE
Location: Chopani Sector - Planetoid RZ7-611323 - Recusant Base
Objective: x

This time, Ryder knew there was no room for peaceful negotiations.

Members of the Recusant Empire are to be dealt with one by one. The closest thing that could come to a mercy-giving would be to simply kill them. Those who might somehow survive the encounter against the Sith Empire would be individuals fated to a life of torment and suffering, a life worse than death. It was something Ryder wouldn't want to wish upon his worst enemy, believing that methods of torture were the acts of cowards wishing to extend the feeling of victory and accomplishment by taunting the ones who have lost. Given his recent encounters within the Empire, he has made the direct decision to try and be a just force, to try and do what is right rather than what is simple.

Thats why he'll kill them all before they get caught by the blood-starved cravens of the hierarchy.

His expression was dull as he was sitting next to a handful of Blackblades and Legionnaires on the transport ship, gazing silently upon the motions of his twiddling thumbs. Whilst Ryder's gotten more accustomed to the prospect of killing armed men, he still required some mental preparations for it. Whilst he wouldn't cave from his resolve to kill them, it didn't mean he wouldn't feel a psychological burden. It was a meticulous process for Ryder to cut off his sense of empathy, an act that had to be done for moments like these, or else he would begin to think of the men as individuals, not targets.

His eyes eventually gazed up as commands were ringing throughout the interior of the ship, preparing for an assault on the enemy hangar. He watched as the Blackblades rushed out of the ship to cleave through the first row of enemy combatants standing in their way, the men naturally outperforming them in melee combat. His gaze shifted over to Kahlil stepping down the lowered platform of the ship, Ryder slowly standing up from his own position. Not sure whether or not Kahlil's words were directed to everyone on board or Ryder specifically, Ryder refrained from giving a response. Instead, his eyes were settled upon the signatures on the opposite end of the hangar, revealing themselves with blasters and missiles.

He watched as projectiles were thrown from one side to the other, bodies dropping. He gazed to the left and witnessed one of the transport ships being blown to smithereens by the use of a missile, tracing where the shot had originally came from. He gazed at the man reloading the launcher in question, and began sprinting towards the side of the hangar. Intending on approaching his designated target in an L-shape, his vision tunneled onto what he felt was a necessity. Before he made a sharp turn towards the barrage of plasma and artillery fire, he picked up the corpse of a former soldier.

He sprinted ahead of the vast majority of his allied forces considering his physical traits giving him a severe advantage in terms of mobility. His heavy strides allowed him to cross a majority of the hanger at half the time of a regular man, which caused others to draw their attention towards him - but the barrels being aimed at him didn't matter. What mattered to him was the one that had just finished reloading a missile, aiming for another craft.

He could feel the rocketeer's heart and his breathing, mentally preparing himself in order to make an accurate shot. Ryder lifted the corpse above his head, his frame coming to a dead stop with his right leg being the center of force. Holding the corpse by the wrist, he spun twice, the left one being raised in front of himself, palm extended outwards. At the end of the second spin, he threw the corpse like a ragdoll towards the target. Ryder's body was struck by a few blasters, mainly around the torso area, causing his frame to stumble - but the body that ragdolled through the air covered the rest of the distance needed to cause the missile to change targets.

The man fired the missile and it travelled about five foot before being connected by a dead body, causing the missile to blow up within enemy ranks. It caused a large distortion within the left flank of the Recusant defenses, debris and smoke flying about which prevented their visions, and in turn their ability to fight. They tried reforming the line within the smoke, though only a few managed to understand what had happened behind their ranks by the time the hazard settled.

A scream followed by the snapping of bones. A man stood with four holes through his torso, a set of violet eyes glaring at them. In his hand, a Recusant soldier was laid dead, head twisted to a point where its chin was behind its shoulder. Men, once filled with wrath and battle-lust, were filled with fear as they desperately began to fire at Ryder instead of the oncoming forces.

Their backs were turned.

A flank was open.

Divide and conquer slaughter.

OBJECTIVE II - Capture the Mining Station - [member="Hailey Sosis"]

"Thank you Captain Lucas. We are arriving as you speak."

Just as Ela Saako responded to Captain Lucas, the gunship arrived at its destination, with four platoons of Marine Commandos exiting onto the landing platform. They were specialized legionnaires working for the Imperial Navy, and were experts in taking space fortresses. Like the mining station they were on.

As they landed, they created barricades and machine gun posts as a means of protecting the area against a counter-attack by the rebels aboard the station. One squad of ten Marine Commandos would block each of the four entrances. That was forty soldiers down on Ela Saako's list.

"So, Captain Lucas, how are we going to take the rest of the station? Do you have a map?"

As the Lady arrived she would have seen Hailey, slumped in corner. She had Bacta injected into her, as gasping in the corner to regain her composure. She was forlorn hope, she went in and went first. She could soak up the damage, and she would not suffer mentally from it, as she was already gone up stairs. She was well formed killing machine, and it was great cardio work out when she did it. The lady would have also seen pools of blood, and bit's of gore strewn around.

As she came out she was met by Captain Lucas, Hailey is just recovering her strength, my lady. The other thing that would of struck her, is that she could not read anyone minds in here, as they where all Epicanthix, though Hailey was different, she was only one with natural blond hair. This sith would be taking charge, for as much as Hailey was a fighter, tactical planning was not her forte. Though she was utterly trusted, as she worshiped the Zambrano family like gods. She eventually got up, she was still weak, from blaster bolts taken and drain the force took on her. She then addressed the new sith, Oh Short stuff, wow I never thought I say that to someone. She realised that came out loud, it was meant to be kept locked away. We taken the docking bay, and Captain Lucas is sorting out what we do next. She began coughing, and then spat out some flem. Her body was healing form the force rage, none her blackblade guard batted an eyelid, they seen this all before. She then looked at the lady, and asked So has the Emperor sent you, to lead us?

Duel in the Void

The girl sat there in the darkness. Alone. Waiting for her moment to come to her. Her body draped in soft, ebony silk and her head beneath a blackened veil. Her eyes were closed. Her head bowed. Her lips were moving but no sound escaped them. This was Elani Zambrano's way of preparing herself. Preparing the dark magics in her for the skirmish ahead. Outside of her room, the sounds of boots hitting metal as the troopers readied themselves for battle.

She just sat there in silence.

Waiting for her time to come.

Emberwing followed close behind the HIMS Dowager as it moved through hyperspace to it's destination. Elani was at it's center. Ready for what was to come.

Gather Test Subjects

The Chopani Sector was a rather desolate place, even as far as these far reaches of the Tingel Arm were concerned. It was a perfect place to launch strikes against soft targets in the Sith Empire, as the Recusant traitors were doing. They would soon find out just how harshly the Sith Empire dealt with traitors and mutineers. In the darkness of this space, they would be dealt a major blow, even more so than what had occurred in the Kadovo and Kamar campaign.

This empty space was also the perfect spot to acquire the specimens she needed for a new project.

Purrgil had been an interesting species to experiment with, birthing the two Sithspawn species that were able to travel through hyperspace and survive in the vacuum of space. But... the collected specimens were only so large and Taeli had... ambitions. A long time ago, she had helped her former Master create a large Sithspawn known as the Nightmare Child. As far as Taeli knew, it still existed on the planet Widek. It had been an undertaking to create that monster, to give it the ability to travel through space and all the capabilities of it.

And Taeli intended to outshine that one example from Praelior like a candle to a star. Now all she and her flotilla needed to do were find the Purrgil Ultras.

[OBJ - 1] Take the station by storm
Objective | Eradicate insurgent forces

The swarm of transports made for the landing zone, some being blasted before they even touched the ground to disembark troops. As the ones that made it through began to unload their troops, Cara's transport would hover about twenty meters from the ground, the hatch opening up as Cara and a majority of her Dragoons jumped out, using their thrusters to slow their descent as they landed on the ground. Their personal energy shields would activate as they absorbed whatever blaster fire came to greet them while returning with their own. Another pair of Dragoons who stood at the entrance of the transport as they crouched slightly, mechanical arms that extend from their shoulders connected to a Banshee Launcher, the barrels extending as over three dozen targets were locked onto. A short time later each Dragoon would fire a quartet of rockets out at the enemy positions, splintering midflight as each rocket turned into a guided homing missile. A line of explosions would ignite the enemy's frontline and cover to expose them while disrupting their formations, sending body parts flying.

As if on cue, Cara and her Dragoons would begin sprinting at the enemy, their movements assisted by the thrusters integrated into their armor as they descended upon the disoriented enemy in the blink of an eye. Blaster fire would wail as the insurgents fell in rapid succession from the blitz assault by Cara and her squad, carving out a path for the rest of the Legionnaires to follow behind. It was an oddly romanticized scene; a grotesque balled of death as one might call it. Bodies were sent flying by the exo-suit assisted strength of power maces that shattered bone and ruptured organs on contact, corpses littering the floor with blaster wounds perforating their bodies as the stench of ozone and death hung heavy in the air. The Dragoons would give the enemy no time to recuperate and recover as they continued to disrupt the enemy with their highly aggressive assault, throwing thermal detonators to scatter enemies out into the open where they would be subsequently gunned down while blaster bolts pinged off their armor.

Cara stood at the head of an arrowhead formation, wielding two heavy blaster pistols as her HUD rapidly highlighted hostiles that came into view, allowing her to acquire targets and dispatch them. She would spot a small group of enemy soldiers taking cover behind a large crate as she turned and lept into the air, soaring high as her thrusters lifted her higher before descending upon the group as she landed on one, caving in the man's chest with her heavy suit and instantly killing him. Her shield would flare up as blaster shots fired, being blocked as she returned fire, a pair of shots catching the farthest trooper in the upper chest as he fell dead. The last of the group would brandish a vibroknife as he lunged at her, knowing he'd be able to get past the shield. However, he was not prepared for his lunging arm to get caught as Cara sidestepped and use the insides of her elbows to break the man's arm before stepping forward, pressing her shoulder to the man's chest to flip the man over her and send him to the ground with his face looking up at her visor. The last thing he would see was a blaster pistol being aimed at his head before a large smoldering hole was blasted between his eyes.

"Press forward after Ryder, keep them on defensive." Dubiety gave his orders as the troopers continued forward, blasters firing in a steady stream. With the opposing ranks broken and panicked it was an easy push. The young Sith unleashed a massive blast of lightning towards another of the missile troopers, short circuiting the missile itself before it could even be fired. An explosion again rocked their foes, breaking apart what little rank structure they had left.

"Retreat! Fall back to the choke point!"

The soldiers began their retreat, rushing away from the hanger towards a set of double doors. A choke point would be a problem for the approaching Sith forces. That would be a problem. Dubiety raised the staff again, the red crystal glowing faintly.

"S̛̝̤̦̫͍͍u̙̭ͅt̷̖ͅt̳̖̠̮a̙͉̣̟ ̡̥C̝̩̟̺̠ͅh̖͓̥͉̦̙wi̳̩̰tu͇̫̺͚̮̟ș̪̮̫̫̰ͅk͚̞a̵͉k."

A black sphere erupted from the gem, flying towards the doorway. Upon impact it erupted, and the screams of the immolated soliders sounded off for just a moment as the sphere of pure hate continued to expand. What was left was a gaping hole of twisted metal and ash.

"Continue forward."

OBJECTIVE II - Capture the mining station - [member="Hailey Sosis"]

"Command has sent me. I just happen to know a thing or three about mining stations and I have orders from some shipping concern that will likely assume partial control of the facility upon conquest."

"Short stuff" Ela Saako would then draw out a hologram.

"So. We need to capture this main center. I assume you're in for an exercise in applied ass-kicking?"

Objective: 2
Allies: [member="Ela Saako"]
Enemy: possibly [member="Ela Saako"] for calling her short stuff

She would felt a chill down her spine, for what the lady said. That would have happened, if she had an ounce of fear. She did not, instead she grinned widely, at the thought of fighting her way down to command center. The slicing the dicing, and the removing of vital organs of her gods enemies. Okay, so how we takin it, shorty. Damn it slipped out again, She thought to herself. She need to start think before she says anything. She just could not do it at the moment, she was still coming down from rage high, and the exhaustion from it. Also the meds, that where healing her from blaster shots, where kicking in. She need about five minutes, before she compos mentis again, well as much as she ever was.

Captain Lucas, was now drawing his troop together. He was also planning how to undertake the task, of taking down the command center. He consider Hailey, nothing more than [member="Darth Carnifex"] pet. A highly useful pet nonetheless, that excels at breaking lines.

"Comment on my height one more karking time and I'll personally make sure a very, very heavy object falls on you. Is that understood, blondie?"

Ela Saako amped up the cattiness to eleven. She very clearly did not appreciate having her authority undermined based on her height. Moreover, Sith were expected to be angry megalomaniacs every single minute of every single day.

That little scuffle finished, she turned to Captain Lucas.

"We are to capture the central control station. Send two platoons of my soldiers in a pincer movement around the facility and take your soldiers with me to capture the control station. Hammer and anvil. Simple as that. Now move!"

Ela force pulled both her lightsabers into both her hands, activated them upon catching them. Two purple blades would burst out into an elegant Shii Cho Jar''Kai opening guard. She then started running straight down the main hallway into the heart of the mining station.
