Jedha, also known as the Pilgrim Moon, the Cold Moon, or the Kyber Heart, and formerly known as NiJedha, was a small desert moon which orbited the planet NaJedha. Located in the Jedha system of the galaxy's Mid Rim, the moon had a cold climate due to its lasting winter. The historical and spiritual significance of Jedha led the moon to become a world of worship for those who believed in the Force, and a holy site for pilgrims who sought spiritual guidance.
Sometime before the Battle of Yavin, the Galactic Empire occupied the moon to control its kyber crystal resources that were once used by the Jedi Order as components for their lightsabers. The occupation later provoked an insurgency to oppose the Imperial tyranny, coordinated by the rebel leader Saw Gerrera. Jedha's heritage and Gerrera's resistance—the aptly named Partisans—led to it being chosen in 1 BBY for a test of the Death Star's superlaser, a superweapon capable of destroying entire planets. Though Director Orson Krennic had planned to destroy the moon, Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin overrode him, stating that the destruction of the Holy City would serve as a sufficient test.

That was over nine hundred years ago.

On top of the ruins, the Holy City had been rebuilt, much of the planet and its heritage had been destroyed, but nature and time have a way of reversing that. There was even a new (well, for the time) Kyber Temple. The Kyber Temple became a symbol of resilience and renewal for the people of Jedha, standing as a testament to their enduring faith and determination to rebuild. Pilgrims once again traveled to the moon, seeking solace and spiritual connection amidst the scars of its turbulent past.

Connel was here for supplies actually, not for anything specific, when his datapad started going off. It was BRAD, his astromech, sending him video messages of footage of another traveller in the city. At first Connel wondered why the droid would be contacting him until he saw the footage.

Okay, a cute blonde… at his first thought…

Then the data started coming in.

… and the Bounty…

Connel didn’t care about the money, he’d probably donate it to Guardian Angel Outreach, but this was a Sith… the Princess? There was something weird about this, but perhaps he would talk to Ala Quin Ala Quin one day about this? Or really any of them.

Land when you’re able to. I’m going to need my gear.

One advantage of his gear was he could be someone else when it was off and hide in plain sight.

Jedha held her secrets close. They were secrets that Quinn sought to uncover for her own means. She had recently been named a Dark Councilor; her status now held power even beyond that of a simple Princess. If the Empress were to step away or be too busy to accomplish something, the Dark Council would step in. They were the ones to be the will of power of the Empress.

Quinn thought quietly about how much her influence now weighed on the Empire.

Something she had wanted for years. She was still young, and for some untested — but this only played in her favor.

The streets of the Holy City were something she hadn't experienced before. Bits and pieces of it reminded her of Korriban, and the thought made her chuckle. Both cities seemed to have this holy world — religious connection to believers of the Force. Jedha, belonging to the Light, and Korriban for the Dark.

In moments like this, the similarities of the two halves of the similar religion of the Force were obvious. She wondered, beyond the beginning of time, like on Tython, if the two halves could ever co-exist again.

That was a question for the Chosen One.

The thought of the concept only made her wrinkle her nose. Her own Mother during her time had been called such a thing — but even then, what good did she do?

Her mind pushed the thoughts of the Mother from her mind as the Princess found herself in front of a stall filled with jewels. Each one shone, gleaming with pristine perfection. She could feel the pulse of the Force coming from one of them. Maybe this peddler had something worthwhile — more than his small mind could comprehend.

She listened to his words, listened to his compliments of her beauty — they were all things Quinn had heard before. The man was trying to play into her vanity, assuming that flattery would make her purchase his stock. The Princess smiled, nodded, and laughed on cue. The man now was playing into her hand, leaning forward, watching to catch the essence of the woman before him.

He questioned her perfume, "Rose and honey," she answered. His eyes lit up; it seemed the sound of the second word meant something.

"Only the rich have that here." He acknowledged again, playing to her vanity.

Quinn nodded and continued to look, trying to find the gem that sang to her through the Force.

Force Cloak. It was like “Jump”, “Push” or “Pull” in many respects to his line of work. What line was that? Shadow? Naw, he wasn’t so much one anymore. Soldier? No. Was he even a Jedi right now? Well, he considered himself one, but that was up to interpretation. Right now what he was, was tracking. That blonde was not just a Sith, she was a ranking member.

What rank? He didn’t know, or really care, what he knew was that she had to have done something big if she had a bounty as large as she had on her.

She no doubt, would not go quietly.

The question is the fight that would be put up. Her? Possibly. Does she have bodyguards? She looked like a woman of privilege, so probably. With her level of beauty, she probably had some simps vying for her attention that would defend her.

It was a matter of finding out what. So it was a waiting game. A waiting, and following game. She could walk the market, he could follow from the rooftops. He tracked her movements carefully, noting the patterns in her routine. The market was bustling, providing ample cover for his surveillance. He knew patience was key; one wrong move could alert her, or potentially any follower she might have.

That wasn’t happening.
