"Call it payback for not listening to me you fox brained Sith." She smiled and walked with him in silence a bit longer as she just stared down the path. It wasn't that she was out of things to talk about, no it was more with the fact that she just wanted to walk with him in silence though the forests she called home.

He rolled his eyes but continued to walk with her, enjoying the silence as well. As he stepped across the path, his ears flicked in different directions, picking up every noise of Alderaan's wildlife. The sounds were beautiful, as was the scenery and with Alex at his side, it was a picture of heaven itself (or whatever the equivalent of it was) for Vulpesen.

She smiled and stopped, doing nothing but simply smiled and turned to him as she looked at him. "Ok, lets set up camp and train here, were going to need alot of time if we are to get you and me to become better trained in our respective choosing of abilities. I think that we could get done with this in the next few days if need be, and if ever we need a pick up, ill call eve to bring a speeder."

He set his back down. "Are we going to actually set up camp, or just sit down here? Either way is good with me, but it' nice to know if I'll be spending another night trying to keep you warm." He smiled at her and let out a small stretch. "With your frail health and all I do have to be prepared." His smile turned into an impish grin as he stopped his stretching.

She stared at him for a few seconds before raising her hand and letting a blast of force energy hit the man who was probably less than foot away, a bit of a, "Ya, well right back at you mister weakling." She didn't really expect him to get knocked flying unless it was as unexpected as she wanted it to be, but none the less it would atleast knock him on his ass before he can react.

As she used the force, Vulpesen found himself acting naturally by lifting his legs. Riding the push, he allowed himself to be pushed back, his feet skirting just above the ground. Once his feet touched the ground again, he crossed his arms. "Haha, very funny. Now then, who learns what first?"

"I think that i should be taught first mister fox face." She smiled and waited for him to react or not as she crossed her arms, staring at him. She was more than prepared to learn this skill, though she wasn't so sure that it was going to be an easy thing, knowing he would have to try and injure her if he was ever going to truly learn the skill as she should correctly.

He smiled and gave her a nod as he waked over to her. "Alright then. I guess we should get started. So, I think the first thing we'll have to do is the general mindset of the skill. Since you can already connect to the force, I don't think the whole meditative start is required." As he spoke, he produced a small blaster pistol from his coat and started to change the settings of the weapon. "The first thing to remember about the usage of tutaminis is that you're not blocking the energy. You're converting it. Allowing it to flow through you, but in a different state. Just like a lightsaber, it is often easier to deflect a blow than to block one."

"Deflect the energy... right... just to be sure, that wont shoot a hole in my hand right? Or drop me like a rock?" She was a bit weary, but she was fully sure in her ability to learn this power, she had studied every text she could on the ability, and now she would learn from a practitioner, every bit of wanting right down to that. "Lets do this..."

He nodded and finished setting the power on the pistol. "So long as you manage to do it right, you'll be fine." He attached a power pack to the weapon and lifted it, leveling at Alexandra's chest. "Now focus. Image the energy flowing through you as it hits that barrier just above your palm. Don't try to bock it, just control it. It is energy, just like the force, and that which you use to move your body. The only difference is, the form it has taken. Change that form"

Change it, right... easier said than done. None the less she breathed in and tried to do what she could, her hand ready to block it as she had seen others do and breathing in slowly before setting her eyes on the muzzle, ready to take things slowly if needed, though there was a slight worry this was going to take a long while. Moving the force already she began to prepare for the bolt, not sure what it would feel like if it hit her hand instead of being absorbed.

He focused the pistol on her hand and started to squeeze the trigger, ensuring that he didn't hit any other part of her. "Just relax. Let it flow through you." A few seconds later, the pistol jumped in his hand, sending a bolt of plasma at her palm. Lowered to create only a small burn, such a thing would be easy to absorb if he had done it correctly.

Alexandra swallowed and the bolt hit her hand, the power of the bolt barely even being effected as she yelped from the pain of the burn that appeared on her palm, holding her hand now as she winced and tried to deal with it. But if Vulpesen even thought about coming over to help her she would glare at him and shake her head, standing slowly and putting her hand at a ready stance once. "Again."

Vulpesen's eyes widened a bit as Alexandra took the hit. He hated the fact that he had hurt her, but there was still the matter of training and she wouldn't get better if she didn't push herself. "Concentrate." Hes started on the trigger again. "Three... two.. one..." Another shot fired form the barrel, straight for her hand and just as same as the last one.

Again the bolt hits her hand without a hesitation though this time she held her hand there. She had to force it to remain still though and again she had failed to even weaken the blast as she clenched her jaw. A thread of energy had been disrupted though, a very thin strand, and she simply pushed her body to stay still as the burn was worsened by the second shot. "Fire again Vulps, i failed again..." She pushed energy into her palm again, trying to succeed again.

There was no way in hell, he would keep doing this at the rate that she was getting burned, but he could give her one last chance. Please make it. He squeezed the trigger and sent another shot straight at her hand. She couldn't fail this time. If she did, that meant that he would have had to hurt her again, something he would have hated to do enough during the first and second times.

She failed again, the burn a bit worse, but again a bit more energy was diverted and she could tell it wasn't as bad. Her hand looked red though, speaking as she looked at Vulpesen. "Fire at me again..." She was not going to give up, never was she going to give up, she was going to learn this and once more focused, diverting the energy around her palm instead of trying to stop the blaster bolt. The flow of the force, the flow of energy, she had to study the two things and now she waited until he would fire, waited until his bolt would head for her hand.

He sighed and tried one more thing. This time, he reached out with the force, touching her with it and allowing his power to aid her. Of course, he wouldn't do this through much of it, but in his experience, a touch of success often led tot he ability to mimic the process. The force of his presence fluctuated around her, diverting its streams to places where she would need it during the fourth fire. "Three... two... one..." The fourth shot left the barrel.

She would move her whole body the moment the bolt left the gun, passing by her as she looked at him, wounded. "I can do this on my own Vulpesen... Fire." She resumed how she stood before, her eyes narrowed on the barrel as she mimiced the process she had started before, diverting it, readying herself to not block but deflect the energy. She wasn't sure if she could do this alone, but she would find out. Not let Vulpesen do it for her.

He sighed but did as she asked, allowing her to get ready. "As you wish." This time, he simply paid attention to her force presence and after a moment of ensuring that she at least had the basic structure down, he fired. He had done what he could and she had the form. If only she could pour in the power to back it up.
