"Its nicer yes... i mean... we wont be overdressed if thats what you mean." She smiled and waited for them to reach it, careful and quite while she watched as the city came up infront of them. Her eyes scanned for the building until she found it and she smiled. "Over there, the third building." She looked at him as she spoke, making sure she indicated to the right building and he understood.

He nodded and started to turn as she pointed out the restaurant. "Alrighty then." Once the speeder came to a stop, he put it in park and gave Aleandra a kiss before getting out and circling around to open her door. "After you." Normality. He had forgotten what it felt like, and to be honest, it felt good. Sure he could never leave his other life, but this was a good experience to be reminded of who he once was.

She smiled and got out, taking his arm as he stood there and leaned her head against his shoulder. "Are you ready to have something good to eat?" She looked up at his face and kissed his cheek, leading him there as they walked and smiling all the way to the door as she looked at the man who stood behind a counter, smiling at him.

He smiled and started to her door. "Of course We did seem to work out an appetite didn't we." He grinned and gave her a quick kiss as they reached the counter. "Table for two please." With a nod from the man, Vulpesen took Alex to follow towards a seat. "Its actually been quite a while since I've eaten somewhere like this." As they reached their table, he pulled back Alexandra's chair to allow her to sit down.

"True, just promise not to eat with your hands and were good." She smiled at him and her eyes found his once more as she sat down across him, her head resting on her hands as she waited for him to sit down as well.

He nodded and took a seat as his hands opened the menu. "You have my word. Sure I have claws, but I can be civilized when I need to be." He started to scan the menu in front of him, looking for anything that might catch his interest. Then again... places like this preferred quality over quantity and thus he had to look fairly hard for something that might do him any good.

She smiled and laughed at him, softly but still it was there. "Civilized, im sure that is something you can do, you are certainly funny Vulps." She had a mind of what she wanted, but for now she simply watched him and talked. "So, is this the first time you've been out as yourself in public?"

He rolled his eyes and set his manu aside, having made up his mind. "Hey, lets not forget I was raised a merchant so stuff like this was my original forte. And as for being myself, its been... eight or nine years since I was undefined by my allegiance in the force. Kinda puts things into perspective on how far I've come doesn't it."

She smiled and spoke with a joke. "Well, if this was nine years ago then maybe i should have had them made up a kiddie menu." She leaned forward on her hands again and let the words sink in. Meanwhile she would glance off to the side and look at a waiter, letting him know they were ready as she made a slight gesture with her head.

He gave her a slight glare but diffused it with a jibe of his own. "If that's the case, perhaps I should just continue with the, I don't pay for meals policy." Replacing his glare with a grin, he turned to the waiter who promptly asked fr his order. "I think I'll have a nerf steak." With a nod the waiter asked a rather obvious in coming question. "And how would you like that prepared?" Now at this point, most people will say what they want, but Vulpesen had to stop himself from speaking. It wasn't that he didn't know what he wanted, it was simply that he was used to being a street rat or a loose mannered jedi more than a diplomat. Oh, just knock its horns off, wipe its nasty ass, and chunk it right here on this plate. "Medium rare please." Despite the words in his head, he held it together and gave a polite smile as he waited for Alexandra to place her order.

She smiled and looked at the waiter as she nodded. "Same thing, Mandalorian Wine as well." He would mark it down and leave before Alex would speak again, with her eyes focusing on Vulpesen once more. "You were going to say something different weren't you, i thought i caught a hint of a second thought." She could read people well, and when she spent a large amount of time around them, they were an open book for her. And for a moment she considered asking him what it was but then she remembered the setting. Instead she tapped the side of her head, hinting for him to send the words to her mind instead as she opened it up to him.

Something told him that giving her even a telepathic message was a bad idea. Still, she had asked and he would oblige. As he sent the message, he turned and watched for her reaction. Hopefully it wouldn't be too noticeable, but he wouldn't mind if she laughed. He did enjoy the sound and he was certainly never one for the orthodox, even in a place like this.

Alexandra only smiled and made a disgusted expression, as if repulsed by such an idea. But then the smile returned and she sat up in the chair, her eyes soft once more as she looked at him. "Well, im suddenly unsure what to say..."

He smiled and and started to look at his nails, not quite in a vain way, but more in that he was still getting used to the fact that they were his. "Don't worry, you aren't alone." With no other words, he simply looked up from his nails talons and focused on the girl who sat opposite of him. "Actually, since when do you wear things like that? I've only seen you in something like that once."

"The last time was some wedding while i worked for the mandalorians, a brother of the one getting married had talked with me and the likes... uh why?" She looked up as he had said that, confused why it had come up and a bit interested in what he was thinking. "Something wrong with it mister fox face?"

He listened intently, taking a moment to shake his head as she asked the question. "No, of course not. Its just that I've always seen you in robes or training outfits. This is only the second time I've ever seen you wear something like that in all the time I've known you. I like it though. You look stunning in that dress." He wore his perpetual smile as he looked at her, enjoying the sight of the girl he loved.

"I... its not that great... i mean..." She looked down at herself in the dress then up at him as she smiled and turned scarlet, having to hide her face with her hands. "You know... ive been embarassed by your words more time tonight than in my whole life, so thank you for making me look like i have something wrong with me." She said the words as a joke and a smile was clear through her hands as she tried to cover it.

He leaned forward in his chair his ears pointing at her. "What can I say? I just have that effect some times." He turned and took a look around the room to see if there was any sign of his food or any notice of their presence from the other patrons. After his quick look, he returned his gaze to Alex and enjoyed the look of her smile and blush, two things he loved to see from her.

She smiled wider as he joked around and looked up through her hands before letting them fall on the table, her face a deep scarlet color as she spoke. "Stop that, you are going to get me so red that someone is bound to stare sooner or later..." She had barely gotten the words out, little more than a whisper at her embarrassment for him making her blush in the middle of everyone else.

He grinned and leaned back in his seat, setting his hands in his lap. "Everyone here so prim and proper and I have you red as a sith's saber. Actually, I like that look. It's endearing." He relaxed in his place, despite the formal feel of the environment. Could he sit up straight and proper? Yes. Should he do it? Yes. Would he do it? Not very likely.
