The Precursor.

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
"Ill Tell him then, you come home and first thing he hears is your grand exploits, then we can both wack you with a cane. Win win situation right?" She smiled at him as he brought that up, never having actually met the man, this Zarro, though she knew perfectly well who the man was. A Senator last she heard, one who fought for peace normally against all else, someone she could get used to if she talked with him.

He rolled his eyes and relaxed a bit more in his spot. "Great. I bring a girl home and next thing I know, I'm running for the sake of my head. You know, I think this white streak is testament that I've been whacked there enough." He felt Ace snicker in his robes before quickly jumping out to try and coax out Daeda. No doubt, the two were having their own little discussion and to be honest, he figured that they didn't exactly want to be the third and fourth wheels on this impromptu date.

Alex herself watched as Daeda move out from her in a much quieter motion, though humor was chiefly there. He did take a moment to look at Vulpesen and then at Alexandra and a small smile occured before he moved from her to the ground and made his way to Ace, silently conversing. "I think we need to get Ace a friend now, it does seem to lead to very interesting places when you are friends with someone long enough, to be fair though, i dont think it'll be possible to find someone to compliment Ace in terms of personality, hes quite a unique one."

He nodded and looked over to his companion. "Perhaps that's why he bonded with me. I never did like normality." He turned his head back to face her. "And I suppose that does include you." He grinned and punctuated his words with another kiss. Of course, the action would lead to a few jab from Ace popping into his head, but he was in a good enough mood to simply put those down without even the slightest need fr a comeback.

Alexandra blinked and went wide eyed as it happened again and could only smile as it did. Her eyes closed for a moment before she leaned back into it. "Hey, if we were normal, its likely we never would have met each other, much less come to here. Thats proof enough that being odd is just as good if not better than being normal." She grinned and leaned her head against him once more as she glanced at Ace for a moment from where he sat and considered asking him for a moment if he told Vulps, but that would have to wait till later.

Vulpesen smiled back at her, leaning back to lay down as he was before. "True. And it really doesn't get any less normal than when we met over out little time travel adventure. I've seen some odd couples in the galaxy, but I think I'm pretty proud to say that I might have just become part of one of the oddest ones, if not, the oddest."

"Well technically, we met chasing someone through the forest, where i was most likely going to maim you if that whole debacle hadn't solved itself... That was certainly an odd time and i was curious how that might have ended if it was anyone except you there." She smiled and lay down next to him, pausing for a moment before moving closer. "Hi again." She smiled as she looked at his face.

"Most likely the poor hermit would have been shot, slashed, maimed or otherwise killed. I was after all trying to be the main voice of reason in that situation." As she came down ext to him, he smiled at her presence and returned the gaze. "Hello to you too." Who'd have thought that amid the turmoil of the time, a dog of the sith would inf the most comfort in the arms of a lightsider in a lightside nexus. The galaxy was filled with strange things and as he said before, Vulpesen was proud to be among them.

"A Voice of reason? Sorry vulps but that isnt your Forte, stick to being the fox face i know, hes much more fun." She smiled and rested her head in his arm as she lay there and for that moment said nothing, letting the air run over this place. "How come you even stay with the Sith Vulps. i know, you told me... but you aren't like them, you could leave today or tomorrow, why stay?"

[member="Darth Tsolan"]

He let out small laugh as she told him to stay himself. "Someone had to keep the hermit alive. Only jedi there, what else was I to do?" As for her question about the sith, he simply let out a small sigh. "I will leave when I believe the time has come. For now, my purpose lies here. Besides, sometimes its easier to save lives from the inside when I'm not bombing everyone into nothingness."

"Its not that easy Vulpesen... i know you want to save people but isn't there a time when you drain yourself too thin. You can't save everyone no matter what you do, conflict only grows to climax before a decade of peace, then the death continues." She laid her head against him now as the words came to her. 'A decade of death... and perhaps a decade of peace soon.' Is what sounded in her mind as she touched the rainbow gem in her robes.

He smiled and placed a light kiss on the top of her head as she rested it against him. "And that is why I must conserve my energy for when the time comes. The way to shape the galaxy is not to save everyone. That's impossible as much as I wish it wasn't. The trick is, chosing who we save and who we allow to die. Harsh reality, but priorities are better than allowing everyone to die. Of course, I will save the extras if I can."

"And, should i be held on one side, and millions on another, could you sacrifice me to save those millions?" She was utterly serious, the problem with protecting those you can, and sometimes the choices would test your own feelings... Alexandra wanted to know that his feelings would not interrupt his plans, she would -not- be responsible for more death.

Vulpesen thought for a moment and sighed. "I don't know. I do know that if those people had any chance of surviving till I got back, I'd be running for you. Alexandra, I'm not the perfect shield. As such, I've chosen my weaknesses carefully. I know of two and losing either one would shatter me. Fr this reason, I don't think I could afford to lose you. The problem is, should that choice come, there's a chance I'd be too paralyzed by the thought to do anything."

She paused and nodded. "You won't lose me Vulpesen, i dont die that easily. And if ever there is a time i am lost, i am sure you will find me once more, though i do ask if im taking a vacation you not be there sometimes, wouldn't want you to have to partake in your own holiday once more." She smiled at him though the answer gnawed at her insides, worrying her he might not be able to sacrifice her for the good of others.

He chuckled and held her a bit closer, having kept his arm around her. "Why do you think I didn't suppress every single feeling? I know you can hold your own and I trust you to watch my back much like I'll always watch yours. As for you leaving on vacation, I would actualy enjoy a little downtime with you. Something that didn't include meditation or camping on a force dead world that is."

"You hear that Ace, he doesn't like your home. Hes quite cruel isnt he?" She smiled as he held her closer and closed her eyes though remained very much so awake. "This is something ill keep." She muttered, almost inaudibly and to a degree that she had not thought of Vulpesen's reaction should he have any to hearing her.

He rolled his eyes and and flicked his hand, gently sending Ace into a tumble as the wolf ranted into his head. "What was that?" Sure he had heard her words, but for him, they held no meaning, prompting only a small question as he enjoyed the moment as well, completely oblivious to the fact that he was the only one who would remember it.

"Nothing fox face, nothing at all." She smiled as her head leaned against his body, eyes closed and breathing low. "You know, that was mean though, you didn't need to knock ace over." One of her eyes opened and looked up at him, the Silver ring focusing on him and the long gone golden flecks no where to be seen. "After all, hes told me some very interesting things about you, shame that i cant tell you them."

[member="Darth Tsolan"]

Vulpesen rose an eyebrow at that comment. "Then I'll have to see if I can some information about those things." He smiled down at her, enjoying that look in her eyes. Though while her eyes showed no gold, his own seemed to glow with a golden tint. While far from the visage of Hel, there was certainly a change though he had yet to see such a thing for himself.
