"Oh? I didn't think i was hugging you that tightly, but if you insist i guess we can start walking instead." She smiled and broke from the hug, instead taking his arm and heading beside him instead. "Where is it you want to walk to then Vulps, because as far as i care there are miles of forest around us, we could go for a rather long walk."

He rolled his eyes and happily gave her his arm before walking with her. "Last I checked, this was your enclave. You should know the best places bar better than I." His steps were slow as they walked, or at east, slower than usual. He was in no rush and anywhere she wanted to go, he was willing. This was after all, her home. No doubt he'd have taken the lead if they were going to Amar.

"Do you remember the Waterfall? It is the best place to walk to if there is any other, and i promise you i wont throw you in the water again. I learned my lesson the last time that happened and you taught me that lesson without compromise. Id rather stay dry this time." She smiled at him as they walked and her feel drew her softly and slowly over the ground, taking no more rush than him in doing such.

Vulpesen gave a small nod of his head as he followed her to the falls. "Actually, that would be perfect." As she mentioned their previous visit, he let out a small laugh. "And I've only got one pair of clothes while Ace... well, Ace just has one coat of fur and I think he remembers that time as well." he thought for a moment, realizing that his shoulder felt a bit weightless. "I wonder where Ace is by the way."

"Probably spilling all your secrets to Daeda and having a laugh about it, the Ashlan is very inquisitive when i talk with him and i cant imagine him not being more so with a member of his own species... can't you talk to Ace from this distance? i mean i haven't tried with Daeda but thats mostly because he knows if i get myself in trouble it will be one i can dig myself out of, i think Ace should have learned by now to keep a closer eye on you." She smiled and leaned her head against him as they walked.

As she asked the question, a memory was instantly brought to mind. Only five years ago, the sith sisters Evelynn and Nemene had kidnapped him for their own sadistic pleasure, torturing him with creatures, blades, and devaronian blood poisons. In fact, it was likely that the acts would have killed him, if not for Ace who had managed to trace his location through the bond and bring some help. If not for the little wolf, its quite likely that Vulpesen would have died on that night. "Actually, yes. But we aren't always talking. Finding him is easy, but through I might know his location, it takes a slight bit more to figure out what he's doing there."

"Interesting... i cant do that yet... communication i have down though, well short distance that is. Me and Daeda have sorta had conversations, but most of them end with one of us more confused than when we began so it isn't too easy." She bit her lip as she thought to herself, thinking carefully on what would happen had she never even talked to the Ashlan, things were already far different than before she met the wolf.

Vulpesen gave her an encouraging smile. "You'll get it eventually. Just keep trying and remember that they work best with ideas more than words. Once you get that down, start upping the levels with pieces of basic and eventually, he'll manage to get it from you. Of course, its also possible for him if you use your words, he just has to ignore the babble of the incoherent words."

Alexandra smiled, looking at him. "So how long did it take for Ace to listen to your own incoherent babbling mister Torrevaso?" She smiled as he used his last name, never actually having said it out loud which as she said it, it sounded weird in her ears. Not quite she it was that... normal as she had always called him fox face or by his first name.

 

[Vulpesen]

He grinned and looked at her with an expression he knew would drive her crazy once he gave an answer. "For me and Ace... we were able to talk from half way across the temple in about a week. After a month or two, he could talk from the poles of a planet." He didn't know what was stopping her, but for him the bond was a natural thing and had taken him VERY little time to master. Then again, the process was far from unlike his abilities to tame and speak to creatures through the force.

"You are kidding right..." She looked at him for a few seconds before then frowning and if he looked at the hand not holding onto his arms he would see the fingers tapping and shifting without even alex realizing she was doing it. The tell tale sign she was now lost in thought and trying to figure out what she was doing wrong that it was taking her so long to understand the Ashlan like Vulpesen could. Hell, she could literally converse with the force itself yet talking to a creature on the same level as her was beyond her abilities, that was annoying if ever a thing was.

Vulpesen sighed and continued their walk to the waterfall, his arm wrapping around her as he saw her irritation. "How about me and Ace help you learn. Your bond is a handy skill to have and I'd be overjoyed to help you strengthen it." He reached out with his mind, touching the other half and through him, he called onto Daeda, soon having the two ashlan wolves start their running to their larger counterparts.

"I dont need help..." She muttered as she felt his arm go around her, smiling though as she felt such. "You suck, you know that right." She could sense the two wolves coming, her powers in the force no more diminished by the fact of a bit of embarrassment at him offering to help her do something that he had been able to do on his own. She did want his help though, call it pride but it was something she wanted help with... she had to repay him some how. "If you help me, then i want to show you a way to experience the force as you never have... its a unique technique of mine that i developed to better... immerse myself in the force."

 

[Vulpesen]

"Sure you don't." He grinned widely at her, knowing of course that she would accept his aid, a prediction that son came true, just as the waterfall came into view. "A new technique? That sounds interesting. Does it have anything to do with that electric dash of yours?" He felt Ace and Daeda getting closer, soon feeling the four paws of his own bondmate as Ace leaped and landed in his normal place on Vulpesen's shoulder.

"Oh now... this is something very different... come with me to the stone i use for meditation, its big enough for two people. Also don't worry Ace, i wont push you in the water this time." She smiled as the Ashlan as Daeda himself jumped up to her shoulder as she let him use her arm as a ledge to get onto. Once at the shore she would break away from Vulpesen and jump from the bank to the stone, landing without so much as a slip. "Comeon Fox Face, i want to show you something cool."

Vulpesen nodded and leaped after her, lading easily on the stone and holding out his hand for Ace to run across his arm and onto a nearby perch. "Alright, go right ahead, I'm ready." He was eager to see what she could show him, always thirsty for knowledge on the force and with her broad experience, he had no doubt that she had access to abilities he had yet to see.

She smiled and sat down, pulling him down too before centering herself and letting the air grow still around her, so much so that Daeda jumped from her to another stone, explaining he hated the feeling he gets being close to her when she did this to Ace. Her entire body froze for a moment and it would feel as the air stopped, even the mist going around them before she exhaled and smiled. "Have you ever spoken with the force Vulpesen?"

Vulpesen shook his head at that question, having never really seen the force as an actual being. "I can't say I have. Is this what you intend to show me?" Sure he had heard of the will of the force, and had even preached such things but for it to actually have a voice. The thought was strange for him, but he was still willing to try.

She smiled and reached out her hands. "Place yours on top of mine, in case it wont let you speak with it alone, that way your are with me when you see what i see." She smiled and her entire aura began to reach out, if he could see her aura it would be like a web, expanding and crawling out from her and spreading out and around her friend, sealing off the two of them from anything but their own aura's so that they could focus.

Vulpesen nodded and did as he was told, placing his hands over hers before reaching out with the force, urging his aura to meet hers. For him, the force was a river that flowed where it wished, moving throughout the galaxy. As he reached Alexandra's aura, he found it a bit odd, their two different philosophies turning into a strange mix as he waited for her to continue.
