The Perfect Profile for Doctor Who in Star Wars Chaos

Well-Known Member
So, I've seen a few people attempt a Doctor Who on here, with varying degrees of success. Of course, no one would be able to play an exact copy of him, because it would be so up the butt unoriginal no one would really want to roleplay with him. But I wanna know, with current Star Wars technology, what are all the necessary items a Star Wars Doctor who would need?

NAME/ALIAS: The Doctor
FACTION: Nobody
RANK: Lord
SPECIES: Galifreyan
AGE: ~900+
GENDER: Male, but potentially could be female (he is most commonly Male)
HEIGHT: ~1.8 meters (On average)
WEIGHT: ~75 kilograms (On average)
EYES: Varying (Typically dark)
HAIR: Typically awesome (Varying; dark)
SKIN: Varying (Typically human caucasian)
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes (To a degree)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Though he normally has good intentions, The Doctor can exhibit more Dark Side like traits; especially in his adept ability in Dark Transfer. He has a genius level intellect and seemingly knows something about everything. He's also got a Sonic Servodriver, as he hates guns.

He doens't have any training in the force besides Dark Transfer, as it is rather boring relearning the Force with each new body, and Dark Transfer is all he really needs anyway.

SHIP: Something that has a holoshroud, and a cloaking device to project an image smaller than the ship itself; and maybe a holodeck somewhere on it that connects with the Doctors memory's, to play them over and over again.

Speaking as someone who's grown in that particular direction, especially in terms of problem-solving, I'd say the biggest hitch is the TARDIS/time travel. My very rough equivalent is a Koensayr mapping skiff with all manner of sensor suites.

At the very least, a sense of when to interfere with destiny or not - that's essential.

Yes, I had the same thought. Though, I was also thinking of a ship that had a holographic cloaking device, as in it cloaks the rest of the ship, and in its place projects, say, a smaller vessel, or an asteroid.

Is there something like that?

Okay okay, I didn't know what Dr. Who was until I had a discussion on skype with you Jhar, and I'm sure Mr Doctor is an excellent character, but I'm still left with a question.

Why do we need a Doctor Who in star wars?

I wasn't intending on making a Doctor Who.

This is here to see if it was possible to put him here without breaking the laws of Star Wars science :p

It's just a fun little thing I decided to post up

I agree, time travel would be the hardest to keep in line with the Star Wars universe. Sonic screwdrivers, Daleks, Cybermen, etc all available. Even things like the chronon loop have similar technologies within the Star Wars universe. In fact, I like to think the Doctor would fit in nicely.

Minus the time travel, yeah he actually does. He would even explode when he died each time (like the Emperor) kinda like how the Doctor Regenerates. Only difference there being, is that when the Doctor returns he's in a totally different body, in a totally different place.

And the technology is almost all there, if there was only a way to get around that pesky Time problem.

What if he had a Holodeck that displayed his memories having lived for so long? That would be psuedo Time Traveling?

It totally would, but the point of this thread is to find the closest thing possible to the Doctor that we can manage.

If I were going to create a Time Lord for the game, I would think the best thing to do to keep it in the spirit of Star Wars would be to introduce a long-forgotten, secretive group of Force users who learned a way to stay alive after death. A group so powerful spiritually that their Force ghosts can literally shape themselves a new body rather than simply becoming one with the Force. Spiritually, it would tie into the Force's more Buddhist teachings (one with the Universe, everything is part of everything else, let go of your attachments), because these enlightened Force users would be like bodhisattvas, who choose to remain within the cycle of death and rebirth until all unenlightened beings are free.

Oooh! I like that. You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to add a Species creation template for you guys to make the Time Whatever-they-would-be-called-now Lords.

A tech submission for his ship I think as well.
