- Connection. This alchemized starfighter component serves as a bridge between a starfighter and their Sith pilot. This allows the Sith pilot to deepen their connection to their fighter and perform feats that would normally be out of reach for them. Their reaction time gets cut, their situational awareness increases and they can even boost the sensors of the starfighter to some degree. In short the Crown allows a Sith to enhance their ability to pilot through the Force.
- Connection: The Crown substantially increases the piloting abilities of a Sith.
- Compatibility: Its design allows it to be integrated in many starfighter models without much issue.
- Ability: This does not turn a zero into a hero. The Sith in question still needs to be trained in piloting and have experiences with it, otherwise this won't do much for them.
- Force-Null: As with most artifacts created through the Force the Crown is neutralized by Ysalamir and weakened by proximity to voidstone.
- Dark: Created through the Darkside of the Force the Crown has the distinct tendency to make its user more reckless and brash while using it. Their passions run high, the thrill is fierce, a Sith using it needs to guard himself or they might find themselves killed through the risks taken.
The Sith Empire was leaning more and more on the abilities of its Sith pilots when starfighter combat came into view.
It was relayed to a certain alchemist that the Dark Lord of the Sith would be immensely grateful, if she could find a way to increase their abilities even more through her works. Luckily Cerbera knew just what to do- AEI's catalog and experience with alchemy combined with the research the alchemist had done into the arts of the past led to Taradon's Helmet. A piece of artifact mixed with an external starfighter control board that allowed the pilot to channel their resolve and determination through it.
Or so legend said anyway.
With this idea in mind Cerbera created something similar.
The Pellucid Crown.
A component for a Sith starfighter it enabled the pilot to channel the Force through it and increase their natural affinity exponentially. It allowed them to execute feats they could only dream of before.
Their reaction time cut, reflexes increased, they could become practically one with their starfighter.
The fact that it could easily be disconnected and installed into a different starfighter (to accommodate upgrades) was just a very practical advantage.
