Nar Shaddaa, nickname "The Smuggler's Moon" due to its population are mostly all kinds of criminals and outlaws, as its considered one of the most dangerous place in the galaxy. Within the streets of Nar Shaddaa can be seen type of different people, from gangster roughing up civilian, customers haggling stores for a change of price, passed out drunkard, and escorts trying to earn money. All kinds of activities goes in this dangerous planet, especially the ones that are considered illegal activities. If there's something you're looking for or in need, you'll find it here but sometimes at a questionable cost. The only protection you'll get here are from yourself, as the only security forces here are the ones affiliated with criminal organization.

Even though this place is unforgiving towards the residents and especially travelers, that doesn't stop newcomers from entering Nar Shaddaa. As along the busy streets, there walks a hooded male figure who barely can be recognized other than the lower half of the face and boots dirtied from the muddy waters. A black hair and hands can be seen every now and then as the hooded figure continue to walk in the crowded streets. The hooded figure continue to walk along, passing people and buildings uninterested, only stopping to ask for direction and information. The hooded figure can be seen asking question and showing a logo, giving a disappointed gesture when he didn't get the answer he needed. Even though the hooded figure walks slowly trying to avoid attention, uneasiness and impatience can be noticed from the mannerism.

Not long after the hooded figure walks further away from the crowds and head towards secluded area of the city. In Nar Shaddaa, danger can be present in all over the planet, the dangers are especially high at the parts of the city where its quite empty as its usually controlled by criminal organization. But some people will not hesitate to enter, as the hooded figure continue to delve deeper and head towards an alleyway far from gazing eyes and listening ears. The hooded figure looks around his surroundings before he head along the alleyway, stopping once far away from the alleyway entrance. The hooded figure sigh as he wipes dirt that stuck on the robe, before removing the hood revealing his identity, Padawan Tone.

It hasn't been long ago since Tony Boleoti became a fully pledged Padawan and now he is located at one of the most dangerous planet in the galaxy. Padawan Tone came here in secret without anyone from the temple knowing other than fellow Padawan he trust. He came here to gain some information he need involving his past life and when he was young he was told by his Uncle that Nar Shadda is a great place for it, but that story is to be told for another time. He wore his Jedi robe to conceal himself, as inside his robes he wore normal civilian clothing and not his usual apparel as a Jedi. Moments after he took of his hood, he began rubbing his finger on the side of his right temple as he sigh. "This isn't easy as I originally thought it would be" he murmured to himself in annoyance, "I thought someone would at least have the information I need or at least a clue" he continue to grumble to himself. He continued to be annoyed at the situation his in until he slaps his face with his two hands and said to himself "All right, I'll look around the city for a bit more before i call it off". Padawan Tone then pull his hood to cover his head once more, as he head to to the other side of the alleyway to exit. "I need to finish this fast and try not to get into unnecessary trouble to my self" he talked slowly to reaffirm himself, and then added "Things will not go well if a Jedi Padawan is found hanging around Nar Shaddaa". Padawan Tone checks his stuff and put his hand on his lightsaber to ensure it's safe as he continue to near the alleyway exit and into open area.

"A Wookiee?" the Moogan queried incredulously.
"A Wookiee."
"You ain't even ever seen a Wookiee!"
"I'm looking at one right now."
"Say what?"
He shot his hazy glare past the alien, to the other side of the bar. The Moogan's was quick to follow.
"I ain't countin' that."
"Why not?"
"Look at it. It's tiny."
"Wookiee's a Wookiee."
Grumbling from the other. Arcturus raised his glass, and drank to that. With a shake of its head, the Moogan turned back to him. Sized him up. Another shake.
"Nah, even that one'll squash you. Maybe a Squib. I'd reckon one touch from you and it'd keel over from the taste alone."
"A Wookiee," he reiterated. To further emphasize his seriousness, he pulled out the credit chits in question. The Moogan whistled lowly.
"Your funeral."
Knocking back the last of his drink, the Lorrdian stood from the barstool and watched as the world around him swayed and ignited in all manner of bright and unfathomable colours. The general din of the patrons whined in his ears, and the first step he took had him fumbling for the bar top. He set a steadying hand down. Waited... Then pushed away from it.
The Wookiee on the other side of the bar was not quite so small as it had first appeared upon further inspection. As he approached the towering creature he earned himself a snarl, and the gaze of a dozen other patrons at his back.
I'm not going to fight you the Wookiee lectured, though it fell on deaf ears. Arcturus heard only the guttural preening of Shyriiwook and pressed closer all the same. It was much taller when it joined him in standing, twice his size even. "Tiny" the gaunt boy laughed, glancing back to where the Moogan now sat shaking his head and covering his face with his hands. "Karking tiny..."
A slow fist caught his cheek bone when he turned back to the target. Slow, but not without the weight of a relative tree behind it. Arcturus landed flat on his arse, and those eyes once transfixed turned back to their previous engagements.
"Sithspit," he spat, shaking his own head fast to try and mitigate the swelling. Firm hands grasped his shoulders, and before he could do much of anything about it he was being manhandled toward the door. "A Wookiee!" he slurred noisily toward the Moogan, "I'll bring you your karkin' Wookiee! You'll see!"
Only the sound of the door sliding shut responded as he was thrown out into the night where he landed with a thud.
"You'll see..."
He made no move to rise up though. Between liquor in his veins and throbbing beneath his eye, Arcturus Thesh didn't have a leg to stand on.

"So you don't know anything regarding them"

"Sorry kid, got nothing"

Another info broken another dead end, as Padawan Tone continued to scoured Nar Shadda, stopping to places that can give him information he needed. Each time he ask the question he get's the same answer, as so far no one can give him the slightest info he wants. "I knew this wasn't going to be simple to find out about what happen that day, but i didn't realize it's near impossible just to get any info" he thought to himself as he rubs his finger on his chin. Padawan Tone has been at this for almost a day now, as he knows he can't stay here too long if he doesn't want anyone from the Jedi Temple to know his gone. His friends at the temple can stall when people are asking to his whereabouts but not for long. The other problem is the risk of the people he's asking question about will hear of his activities, with Padawan Tone now has asked about them to too many people now. He wants to keep looking for someone who has the information he need, but he knew the risk outweigh the rewards, as he can't be sure he'll get what he wants. Padawan Tone shakes his head and grit his teeth before he decided that it's best to stop for now. Time and anonymity is what he has as an advantage, which he can't afford to lose if he wants his revenge. "To be continued another day" he quietly mumbled to him self and walks towards someplace he can rest and rehydrate for a bit before heading back to the Jedi Temple.

One does not need to go far to find rest or entertainment area in Nar Shaddaa, as almost every block has one. No matter the planet, who owns the place or even how good the building looks, inside its still the same. Padawan Tone isn't a fan of this kind of establishment as he feels like a fish out of water there, but he has been inside this kind of place a lot of times with his late Uncle. His Uncle was always found getting drunk or having a meet either inside or at the back. But Padawan Tone knows its the best place for many things not just drinks and entertainment but also to lay low. He doesn't have the privilege to fussy about where he should rest and get some refreshment, especially in a place like Nar Shaddaa.

Padawan Tone looks around his area to look for a place that seem at least decent and suitable. He spot one on the right side of where Padawan Tone is located, as he sigh before walking towards the establishment. As he near the establishment entrance and about to enter, he stopped as soon as he saw the door open and saw a person being thrown out into the streets. Padawan Tone didn't have to make much of an observation to know why he was thrown out, as the case are all the same in this kind of situation.

At first Padawan Tone was simply going to ignore the person who was thrown out and head inside, but he didn't for some odd reason. He gave another long sigh as he knew he shouldn't get involve but he had the urge to anyway. Padawan Tone look away from the entrance and walk towards the person who was thrown out, as he look downwards towards him and spoke in a soft manner, asking
"Need a hand?"

He hadn't been sat there in the gutter for long before the sound of approaching footsteps could be heard. Great, he thought, just what he needed at the end of such a joyous day. To be mugged. On a world such as this there were few reasons to approach someone so obviously down on their luck. He doubted he warranted having a knife stuck through him, he already looked half dead as it was. That left only a mugging.
"I ain't got nothin'" he began to state, when the clacking of boots ceased. Much to his surprise however, it was words not hands which were thrown his way. An offer of assistance...
Had he some how ended up back on Coruscant? Who on Nar Shaddaa offered anyone a hand? All the same, Arcturus looked up rather dubiously to the teen who stood there. Vision as blurry as it was, and the other persons hair cropped in the manner it was, he very briefly took it to be a woman. The voice didn't match up though. Nor the build. Not a woman.
A few more moments passed, before he huffed out a sigh. "Reckon I do," he slurred, raising out a hand so that he could be pulled up off the ground. If truly the other meant to help, that was. He wouldn't put it past some to be cruel for cruels sake, to pull a trick on him that was. Head still swam, eye still bulged and stung, but the cool night air took some of the edge off each. Enough that he could think through the pounding.
"Aren't you a little... young to be here?" Choice words coming from someone who was more or less the same age as him, but Arcturus had lived through so much that at times he forgot how young he himself was. Biologically, that was, if you were to trace it back to his date of birth... Well, that information was long gone. Even Arcturus didn't know how many Galactic years had passed since he was born. Just that he'd skipped quite a few of them in rifts and the Nether where time was immortal slowed in comparison.

Padawan Tone helped the man up on his feet as he replied to his question "Don't think age matter in this kind of place", he replied in a slightly annoyed manner. In Padawan Tone mind, he's old and skilled enough to be in a place like Nar Shaddaa. He continued by saying "All that matters here is credits and NOT to get into trouble". "Which at the moment seems I'm doing well here for my age" he said whilst smirking as he looks at him. After Padawan Tone helped the man get up on his feet, he thought to himself if it is such a good idea to help a drunk who just got thrown out most likely due to him getting into a fight, which what happen most of the times in this kind of place.

"I would offer you something to clean your self but all I have is my robe and the clothes I'm wearing", he then added "Which I prefer not get anymore dirtied as it is" Padawan Tone chuckled softly before clearing his throat. Padawan Tone robe is already covered in all kinds of filth, from dirty puddles to slimes from god knows where it came from. Only been here for a day and Padawan Tone is already over Nar Shaddaa, as he made a mental note to himself to never come here again unless he has to.

Padawan Tone focus his attention to the man in front of him, as he sees his clothes quite disheveled and face looks exactly like someone who just got into a one sided fight, which from how he looks and the state his in at the moment, is true. Padawan Tone never been into a drunken fight before, as he never had alcohol in his system. Not because of some high and might Jedi rule he follows, not that Jedi aren't allowed to drink or anything but just because he can't stand the taste of it. But Padawan Tone has seen it all the time back in Dantooine and Coruscant, and he wishes to never be apart of it.

"Are you good to walk on your own or do you need anymore help?", Padawan Tone asked knowing he shouldn't be too kind in this place, as he may get into situation he he would prefer not to be apart in. But after spending the whole day in Nar Shaddaa, which just like the law of nature, it's survival of the fittest. He knew people here would not be so kind enough to help someone, so might as well behave a bit like a Jedi, Padawan Tone thought to himself.

Oo... Touched a soft spot, had he? The kid's response was a little snappier than he'd been expecting, and that brought the slightest of smirks to his addled expression. Back on his feet, he got a better feel for the boy. His brain wasn't done with its dizzying ruminations, so drawing upon the Force to get a better feel of him wasn't on the cards, but all the same he tasted potential on the air.
"No trouble?" he inquired, with a perk of his brow, having listened to all the kid had said with unfocused eyes and hazy contemplation, "Kid, if you're trying to keep out of trouble Nar Shaddaa is not the place for it..."
Even as he spoke the words, he figured his helpful ruminations would not be much appreciated by the one before him. He seemed a little touchy, like he had something to prove. Too independent for his own good. How he'd ended up in such a place was quite the mystery. Especially given his mindset. "This is a veritable hive of scum and villainy, friend." He paused. Eyed him up again. "Why are you here?"
There was no judgement in his tone when he posed the question though, just a genuine curiosity. Curiosity was one of the few vices Arcturus could never quite see fit to nix. So much so that to feel that itch rise within him was rather sobering. Some of the slurring began to wane from his speech soon after.
Mention was made of the soiled state he was in, and Arcturus glanced down at himself. It was true, he was a mess through and through. He'd lingered in alleyways peddling his wear in this get up. He'd reunited with Starlin and Ishani looking worse for wear, and then gone on such a bender in the aftermath that his clothes had known nightclubs a plenty as well as the dusty ground in the center of a Geonosian arena. Blood, dirt, oil, rips and tears. It was a wonder anything was keeping his clothes together. A patchwork of cloth stolen from random points in the Galaxy tried to remedy some of the tearage. The rest...
He shook his head.
"I'll make my way to a refresher eventually," he assured him, seemingly without a care in the world for the grime which lay over him. Beneath the dirt lay scars, meeting his hairline, set into his neck, some of them barely hidden by the cuffs of his shirt. He'd been through the ringer, and somehow he was standing. Well, two seconds prior he hadn't been. He supposed he had the kid to thank for that.
Another question was sent his way, though he could tell the kid was a little less sincere with this one. As though he was asking on impulse, because he felt he had to, not because he sincerely wanted to help. Arcturus took an uneasy step forward. Man had that Wookiee done a number on his face, one of his eyes barely agreed to opening. The left, it was as though the eyelids had been fused together. He felt himself swaying a little less than before though. Steadier... Not perfect. But steadier.
"Are the two mutually exclusive?" he inquired, of the lad's question. "I can walk, but that ain't mean I don't need help." He paused. Stared at the kid for a second, pieced together what little of the puzzle that made him up as he could. Robes. Trying to keep out of trouble. He certainly wasn't from Nar Shaddaa. Again it left him wondering why he was here.
"What about you? I ain't saying the help can't go both ways kid... You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours, you know what I mean?"

Padawan Tone knew the risk and what kind of trouble being in Nar Shaddaa, especially as a young Padawan. He knew all the kind of risk of staying here and looking for dangerous information without anyone needing to remind him. His fellow Padawan already told him how dangerous it is to go here, and tried to stop him to no avail. That's why he is trying his best to avoid trouble, and just do what he came here for as quickly as possible.

As even with all the risk and danger everywhere within this polluted of a city, Padawan Tone need to find any clues or information regarding his past, about who killed his father and uncle. Padawan Tone main theory is a rival mob family that tried take The Boleoti Family out of the picture and take over. Which is quite plausible, considering The Boleoti Family has a lot of rival family that wants them gone with how much power and influence they have. But on the other hand is how they were able to pull off the attack, as it how most mob plan out their hits. The attack was well coordinated and seemed militaristic, so Padawan Tone thought to himself, what if there's a 3rd party that did this.

So Padawan Tone came to Nar Shaddaa to see if he can find information leading to who carried out the attack. This was what he was thinking to himself when someone ask why he's here, just to give a mental reminder what his objective was. So he didn't answer when he asked why he was here, as Padawan Tone just shrugs.

After the person in front of Padawan Tone told him he'll get cleaned someplace soon, he gave an answer regarding if he needed any more help from Padawan Tone, though Padawan Tone gave that offer just to be a nice person a bit. When he said need help from Padawan Tone, Padawan Tone raised his eyebrow, though one can barely see it due to the robe covering his head. Then he continued by asking the same question Padawan Tone just asked, and gave an offer to Padawan Tone which can benefit both parties.

The old You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours deal huh, Padawan Tone thought to himself. He heard that phrase so many times especially when he was younger, his father and Uncle, heck anyone practically involve in the mob use that term a lot. But there always a few problem in that kind of deal, with usually the other gets the short end of the stick, resulting one of them scratching the hardest in comparison.

The other problem is how the other person will take the deal, in this case is he trustworthy to be told why Padawan Tone is here. At least with information broker, you get some sort of insurance that the conversation between them doesn't get leak. The information he's looking for is not something easy to find this is Padawan Tone knew after spending a day here, with not a single person knowing anything. But even if this person knows or have the information Padawan Tone needed, what if he snitched?, or even worse, what if he is apart of the group Padawan Tone is looking for.

Even though Padawan Tone tried to show what his thinking regarding the offer, but his small mannerism shows it, even if not subtle. When Padawan Tone is emotional it's easy to read him, but when he's not, Padawan Tone been honing his poker face though he still shows slight movement or gesture can be easily noticed by people who have a knack with reading a person. If it was someone capable with the force, like his old Master, one could figure out Padawan Tone easily.

Just because you helped him get on his feet doesn't mean you can just trust this kind of vital information, Padawan Tone thought to himself. At least he needs some assurance or guarantee, he's someone he can trust, let alone scratch his back. "Just here to find some information", Padawan said to him the simplest answer he could for now

The kid was quiet. Barely talked. All of this confirmed his suspicions, that he'd offered help only to seem nice. That he hadn't really meant to be taken up on that offer. Still he'd made the mistake of offering all the same, and Arcturus had seen fit to call his bluff. How was the kid to know that what he needed was far more simpler than he was likely expecting? Easy, the help Arcturus needed. Stupidly easy.
All the same he was grateful for the moment of silence. It allowed him to further wick away the alcohol from his system, allowed him to bring clarity back into his mind. Even if that clarity was not necessarily translating into sanity. Even if the idea of finding some Wookiee to beat on still rang true within his mind. He needed the credits, he argued. He needed the gain in reputation. Truth be told, what he needed was to not feel those things which were creeping in with his sobering up. A good fist fight with a Wookiee would put all of that to rest.
Maybe put Arcturus himself to rest. Oddly, that thought didn't much bother him the way one might have expected it to.
The kid's short answer drew him from such thoughts, and he cocked his head to the left and offered him a rather goofy, toothy smile. Somehow, miraculously, he had a full set of teeth. Given the state of him, that probably wasn't expected.
"Information?" One hand raised, and he rubbed the back of his neck curiously. Information was easy to obtain if you knew how, and where. The most important part, he'd discovered, was knowing how to read the people you were asking questions of. To get a sense for when they were lying, or withholding information.
More often than not, what wasn't said spoke far more than what was.
"Tell you what, kid, since you already did me a solid and pulled me from the mud, we'll do your thing first. Alright? That way you'll know I pulled my weight, in the whole back scratching fiasco."
It was like he'd read the kids mind. In truth he just knew that dubious expression he'd briefly shared.

When Padawan Tone saw the man gave him a smile all of a sudden, it made a bit put off by his demeanor. Either his drinking caused him to act quite weird or he's just like that, was what Padawan Tone thought. As moment later the man offered something Padawan Tone he didn't really expect much, was that the man will help Padawan Tone first before he helped the man out.

All right I'll bite, is what his expression and mannerism shows after the man offers to help Padawan Tone objective first. Padawan Tone can sense that something is wrong about this offer, but due to how badly he need this information and his hard headedness he's willing to risk it. Deep inside he knew he might be played, but Padawan Tone has been holding off on getting his revenge for far too long ever since it happen and because he made a promise with his old master to not do it.

He gave a long sigh to compose himself, before telling the man why he's here. "I'm here to find out about an attack on a mob family from Dantooine called The Boleoti", he stopped for moment before continuing to add "They were attack by an unknown assailant, but some say it might be a rival family...". Or someone else entirely different who wanted them gone, was what Padawan Tone about to say before he stopped as he felt it wasn't an info he should add due to it being a low possibility.

Padawan Tone knows he needs to ensure his identity does not get revealed so when things go south, nothing will trace back to him as a Jedi or as one of the surviving member of The Boleoti Family. Even if the man knows why he's here and what's he's looking for, if Padawan Tone can keep the man from learning crucial detail about Padawan Tone, everything should be fine he hoped.

"So think you can help me with that?" Padawan Tone asked whilst crossing his arms together with a look of doubt towards the man. Padawan Tone shook his head a bit, as he couldn't believe he told him his purpose for being here. But what's done is done and all he could hope this doesn't bite him on the butt later on.

Information was the name of the game, but truthfully all that Arcturus heard when the boy began to explain was investigation. He grinned. Investigations were fun... Threading together pieces of a puzzle, interviews, tracking, maybe a little bit of roughing up. The kid seemed a little young for a cop, much less a detective. That meant he was involved some how. An affected party.
He didn't pry all that much into that aspect of it though. He didn't feel the need to. The kid was already prickly with reservations, it made little sense to lean into that.
"Dantooine," he mused, with a tilt of his head, once the kid had given as much information as he felt necessary. As he was willing. "Long way from Dantooine, aren't we?" Nar Shaddaa was something of a hotspot for infobrokers and those who dealt with nefarious dealings, though. It made sense to come here, especially if these families he spoke of were big news. Not limited just to that one planet.
Regardless of his response, Arcturus shrugged his shoulders. Didn't matter to him, none of his business, what he could do was get him in touch with a few people though.
"Yeah, I might know a few guys who can help. You can keep your secrets, I ain't got no need for meddling in mafia problems, I don't reckon you're wanting to share much more with me anyway." He stretched out his back with a resounding pop, and then circled his head to loosen up his neck joints. Then he set off in a seemingly random direction. "Come on, I think I know who to try first..."
No talk of what itch Arcturus wanted scratched. No talk of the other side of the coin. For now his focus was on the kid's plight.

Nar Shaddaa is indeed far from Dantooine or even from the Jedi Temple, it's the farthest Padawan Tone ever went in his life. If he had found what he was looking for in the lower levels of Coruscant when he went there in secret, he wouldn't have come here.

"Nothing is far if it is for something you need" he said in a low and sad voice to the man. What Padawan Tone said it's true, no matter how far or the risk he has to take if it helps him find out who was involved and kill them, it would all be worth it. In his mind, the only thing that matters in his life is to get his revenge and that's all to it.

Everyone he knew was dead or gone missing, the only one he knew is still alive is his Mother. but he doesn't know where she is, as they both agreed before they separate, they shouldn't know each other whereabout to keeps each other safe.

When he heard the man said that he won't pry any deeper about why he's looking for information in Nar Shaddaa, Padawan Tone gave a small sigh of relief as he looks away for a bit. Though he may not know if it's genuine or not and if he'll try to ask again in the future, but for now its enough for him. It was already hard enough for Padawan Tone to ask information broker all over Nar Shaddaa without fearing someone would rat him out, so telling a random drunken man who just got tossed like a sandbag was quite a ridiculous and amateur move by Padawan Tone, which he himself fully realize.

"All right, lead the way" he told the man as Padawan Tone wait for them to get moving. Padawan Tone can only hope he'll keep his promise, and that he's not bringing him into a world of trouble or pain.

Something he needed, was it?
Something personal, then. The kid needed to learn when to avoid speaking his mind, because he'd unknowingly given Arcturus all the snippets of information he could ever want, all the fuel which could have been turned against him if he had intended to do so. Luckily for him, he didn't intend to do anything of the sort. A man was only as good as his word, after all, and it wasn't as though they were mortal enemies. Wasn't as though deception was the name of the game.
So he let it slide. Didn't even mention the pieces of the puzzle which had begun to click into place. He just smiled that same smile, and nodded his head in understanding. Moreso when the boy asked him to lead on.
Lead on he did.
Nar Shaddaa's bright lights and busy streets brought something of an intensified state to his headache. It was all gaudy and glitzy, and artificial. Neon lights and tower advertisements showered every building in sight. Arcturus averted his eyes as he moved on through it all, turning his head every now and then to check that the boy was still following.
Eventually, keeping quiet unless the other one spoke, they came upon an alleyway. Arc approached a door located on the building to the right, and knocked thrice. At first nothing happened, then there came the sound of shuffling feet from inside. Finally slot in the upper half of the door opened up, and the many beady eyes of an insectoid peered out at them. It muttered something in a language distinctly detached from Basic, unintelligible, and stuck Arcturus with a hard glare.
Then it stepped back. The slot was closed over once more, and after another moment the door slid open. Several spindly arms came to a point wherein they rubbed together in a manner akin to greed. Another crystalline limb gestured them inside to the tune of further skittering sounds which fell from its mandible wrought mouth. Arcturus glanced back at the kid, to make sure he was still down for this whole thing, then stepped inside to the darkness beyond...

Once again he sees the man smiled once more which continued to weird out Padawan Tone, mostly due to not understanding him at all even if he tried to. Padawan Tone isn't realizing he's been giving to many clues about him, due to his young nature and naivety, but also being to open when it comes to something that is emotional.

Ignoring all the bright lights of buildings of Nar Shaddaa, they continued on ahead to an alleyway as Padawan Tone followed closely but at a safe distanced. He kept an eye out towards his surroundings to make sure nothing will happen and he'll be ready if something does happen unexpectedly. His mind kept telling him to be wary of the man, but his guts said otherwise as he felt this finally may lead to something after a long search.

His head cocked a bit when he saw the insectoid, as he never seen their species before even back in the Jedi Temple where you can see almost every species their is. He reaction was shown more when he saw the insectoid full figure as it let the open for them to enter. I dunno if i should be afraid, weirded out or intrigued, maybe all theree, Padawan Tone thought to himself as the two then passed the insectoid. The closes he had seen was a geonosian but he only seen in through a holo when he was studying at the Jedi Archives as a youngling.

As Padawan Tone followed him inside, he looked behind him where the insectoid was before asking "So.. You've been here before?". Padawan Tone figured there'll be places like this but never had the access to one, his amusement was quite shown and let down his guards for a few seconds before snapping out of it. Padawan Tone was always intrigued in the underworld since he was young, he shown a lot of interest in it even until to this day.

This place they went inside, looks like a typical shady shop at first glance but he'll soon found out how it looks for real and what it really is as they head deeper inside.

The kid was following alright, hadn't missed a step, and when they sidled up alongside the doorway he'd looked positively excited at the prospect of seeing what lay inside. Arcturus picked up on the mix of emotions the boy felt toward the Lucent, most notably among them for him at least the sense of intrigue. Intrigue was just another word for curiosity, after all, and that was something he liked to nurture in others specifically when he could sense their sensitivity to the Force. It was important, he believed. It was something to push them on into greatness.
Or, for some, perhaps it was their undoing. Either way.
Into the depths of that darkened corridor they wandered, the insect by the door either disappearing entirely or having found another route through to the building proper. The lack of light made their approach feel particularly lengthy, though in truth it wasn't as bad as it seemed. The boy's question certainly helped to pass the time. "I have," he stated by way of response.
They reached the end soon enough, a curtain of badly scented cloth hanging in the way of the next room. Arcturus pushed it aside, and gestured the kid ahead of him. On the other side a series of card tables lay, pazaak prominent among them but a few others too. Arc paid them no heed, he wasn't here to throw what few credits he had down the drain before he had a chance to cash in on his bet. Nosiree. Instead he stepped past it all, to another door on the right.
When he knocked on this one, a gruff voice asked for the password. "Meerian" Arcturus retorted. The door slid open a second later.
This time Arcturus entered first. This room was dimly lit, but seemed a little cozier than the previous. Armchairs faced a sofa upon which a prominently tusked Ciasi was reclined, mumbling in the ear of some human-or-near woman sat on the floor in front of him. The creature didn't sit up, didn't even look their way, as they entered. For a moment it seemed as though he wouldn't acknowledge them at all.
Then with a high pitched drawl, in the Basic tongue, the creature spoke.
"Information, you want information?" he turned his head just a smidge, to peer at them out the corner of his eye. When he spied Arc, the tiniest of squeaks broke from his lips. "Eyy, who gave you the password? Not this again, Arc, I--"
Arcturus held up a hand in hopes of staying the rodent's tongue, and shook his head. "Ain't here for me." He gestured a thumb in the kid's direction. "I'll be outside."
True to his word, Arcturus would not listen in on the conversation between the Jedi and Ciasi. He slipped back out the door, and found a seat at a pazaak table. One round couldn't hurt, right?
"What is it you want to know, kid?" the creature asked.

Padawan Tone gave a slight nodded after the man introduced him to the Ciasi in front of him, before he saw the man went outside to give Padawan Tone some privacy.

Few moments later the Ciasi asked what Padawan Tone wants, which he then looked at the Ciasi before answering his question. "What do you know about the attack on The Boleoti Family at Dantooine that happened 7 years ago?" he asked as he hoped he finally get an information after getting nothing from all the information broker he went to before.

"Hmmmn... The Boleoti Family huh...." the Ciasi rubbed his tusk before he continued saying "Haven't heard that name in awhile now, not since they got taken out of the picture" as he the Ciasi then stared at Padawan Tone. "Now I'm guessing you want to know who's involved in that attack, don't you kid?" the Ciasi said as he continued to rub his tusk before adding "That information is quite hard to get you know kid, not everyone knows about it unlike me". The Ciasi smiled and gave a small laugh before finishing his sentence with "If you know what i meant".

A small sigh was let out by Padawan Tone as he thought to himself, He's gonna want a lot of credits huh. Padawan Tone has been saving money ever since he became a Jedi, with most of his money came from the secret stash his uncle told him about when he was younger, incase of emergency such as the case. Other than that, he did some shady work at the lower level Coruscant when he snuck outside the Jedi Temple every now and then, like selling information he found from the Jedi to people who wants them or catching people who are wanted especially by criminal organization.

Padawan Tone began rummaging inside his robe, taking out a bag filled with credits, as he then threw it in front of the Ciasi. "Is that enough?" he asked the Ciasi, which the Ciasi then began looking inside the bag and began counting the credits. The Ciasi then smiled before answering "They got done in by The Berlusconi Family from what my sources told me years back".

Once he heard The Berlusconi Family was uttered, Padawan Tone suspicion may be true about how there might be a 3rd party involved. From what Padawan Tone knew, The Berlusconi Family are just a bunch of glorified crew that has less than half the soldier The Boleoti Family has and didn't have the capabilities to do something to attack The Boleoti Family much less eliminate them. So seeing how they were able to not only easily went through The Boleoti Family mansion security but also take out every member of The Boleoti Member all around Dantooine in a well coordinated attack, means someone powerful backed them up.

"Did they had any outside help on carrying the attack?" he asked another question towards the Ciasi, to which he responded "No one knows, people speculated The Berlusconi Family received help but any proof or detail about it are nonexistent". "So either The Berlusconi Family really did it by themselves or the people who helped them rare really good at wiping any evidence of their involvement" the Ciasi concluded all the infromation he has to Padawan Tone.

Anger filled Padawan Tone, as even though he finally got the information he was looking for but he weren't able to gain the vital information regarding the 3rd party. Padawan Tone took out another bag of credits from his robes, which he then gave it to the Ciasi and said "This conversation never happen". "Sure kid" the Ciasi answered Padawan Tone as he took the credits whilst giving a sly smile towards him. Padawan Tone wants to ensure any conversation that took place here or him asking are kept a secret, and at the moment money is the only way even though it may not last or work if someone gave him more money compared to what Padawan Tone gave. Killing him would guarantee it would remain a secret but Padawan Tone isn't a position to be able to do something like that.

Padawan Tone then turn around and head outside the room towards the Pazaak table where Arcturus Dinn Arcturus Dinn is, with the man end of the bargain fulfilled. Now Padawan Tone knows its his turn to help with whatever he needs of Tone to conclude this deal they had with each other.

For his part, Arcturus sat and played exactly one game of Pazaak against some of the other denizens of the facility. One might call it cheating, to glean the thoughts of others mid game, but there were no parameters in place to stop him so why the feth wouldn't he? In the end he doubled his money, bluffing his way through the game with realistically subpar cards, and then exited the table as soon as the Jedi reemerged from the back room.
Whatever the kid had been looking for, it hadn't taken him long to either find it or discover it was still out of reach. The other card players tried to heckle him back to the table, but he just gestured to the kid and took his leave. They didn't seem to push much more after that.
"All good?" he asked, as he led the boy back out the way they had come, past curtain and darkened corridor, toward the exit. Not prying, just trying to see if he'd gotten what he needed out of it. Soon enough they were back out among the glaring lights, and the insectoid was barring the door behind them.
Hands sank back into his pockets. If he was done with his investigating, that meant only one thing... Wookiee time.

Padawan Tone looked at the table the man was playing at, but due to him never played the game at all since it's not something he had much interest. So Padawan Tone didn't pay much attention to it and simply waited until moments later the man led him back towards the exit once he saw Tone was finished with the Ciasi he was talking to.

As they were walking together, he was asked if he got what he was looking for. "It's enough for now" he told Arcturus Dinn Arcturus Dinn with a half baked answered, as truthfully he needed more information but seeing how all further tracks are gone, so there's not much he can do for the moment. He can only try again another day through a more well connected source, maybe through other families he knew and at least are well acquainted. But Padawan Tone he needed to make more connection if he wants to get more useful information regarding the attack on The Boleoti Family.

Padawan Tone followed him outside as they passed the insectoid once more, but Tone didn't look at it as much as before as he not interested after a not so satisfying information gathering that costed quite a lot of credits. The credits he gave the Ciasi was more than half of what Padawan Tone have, so he knew once this was over he going to need to start earning more credits.

He look towards the man as Padawan Tone asked "So, what exactly do you need from me". Padawan Tone has a feeling what they're gonna do next won't be as simple and peacefully as what Tone had asked, but a deal is a deal and Tone isn't one to not honor an agreement. Padawan Tone quietly checked his equipment, as he brought his lightsaber which is placed at a well hidden part of his body and a brass knuckles which he will use as his primary weapon of choice should he to fight. He didn't bring a blaster as he felt it was too much to bring so many weapons to Nar Shaddaa, and Padawan Tone prefer close combat. It's not because he's bad with a blaster or anything of the sort, but for Padawan Tone, it is more satisfying to use his fist and lightsaber compared to a blaster.

Enough, the boy had stated. It was enough; for now.
Arcturus took that answer for what it was, and nodded his head some in understanding. It was rare indeed that one found everything they were looking for in a singular place, but with any luck the strands would begin to knit together for him over time, and more avenues would open up so that he could find what he was looking for. Or who.
"Well, I wish you look in the future," he stated with something of a shrug, knowing that words such as those were largely hollow. Arcturus would not know if he was ever successful or fruitful in his endeavors because he was unlikely to hear back from the kid. Once they parted ways, that would be it. The Galaxy was large, dark, and full of terrors, the chances of them bumping into each other again went down drastically the moment one turned a corner the other did not.
Still he'd said it.
Then a question was posed, and Arcturus beamed a smile. Unlike the others it didn't hold the same unnerving edge, probably because he knew what was coming next. It was almost... gleeful.
"It's simple," he stated, tipping up his chin as though what he was about to say was the most obvious thing in the Galaxy, "I need you to help me find a Wookiee."
Pause for dramatic effect. No doubt the kid was probably wondering which Wookiee, and why. But Arcturus' next string of words would hopefully answer some of it.
"A Wookiee. Any Wookiee, really, I don't much care. Help me find a Wookiee, and that's it. We're done. You go one way, I go the other. Simples."
And oh, Arcturus fully planned on the kid being out of the picture before he attended to this Wookiee. He didn't need a Jedi trying to step in his way when he socked'em.

"A Wookie?" Tone said as he is very much confused as to who is this Wookie he's looking for. But when the man then finishes his sentences by saying he's looking for any Wookie in Nar Shaddaa, that left Padawan Tone totally flabbergasted. Why in the world is he looking for a Wookie?, Padawan Tone as his face can be seen to have a look of someone who is utterly confused.

Padawan Tone once saw a Wookie man handled 5 soldier of The Boleoti Family after they provoked him just because they didn't like the Wookie, it was one of the most one sided fight he had ever seen. Even before he saw a Wookie he knew just dangerous and strong they are from the stories his uncle told him when he once worked with a Wookie, where it ripped of a person hands off its body. From that day on his Uncle always reminded himself to never make a Wookie mad, even until his death.

The only reason Padawan Tone could think of why someone wants to look for a Wookie in Nar Shaddaa without any specificity, as long as it's a Wookie, is if they're looking to hire them or to catch them to be sold. But Padawan Tone doesn't think the man in front of him is dumb enough to get into trouble with a Wookie much less try to catch one. So that leaves him wanting to hire the Wookie, is what Padawan Tone concluded from what he knows. There's also an off chance when someone try to look for a certain species and doesn't care who it is, it usually means they want to fight them, but that kind of notion is to far fetch and impossible, as there's no way someone would look for a Wookie just to fight them.

"So you want to find any kind of Wookie?" he said slowly as he's still trying to process the man weird request before he added "You do know they don't take kindly to strangers right?". He asked to make sure the man is serious on finding a Wookie, before he sigh and answered "Well all right, let's go look for a Wookie shall we". Padawan Tone has agreed to the deal and he did his end of the bargain, so Wookie or not he's going to help the man find one.

"Perhaps we can find one at gladiator pit or maybe gambling place, as they sometimes go to one?" he asked Arcturus Dinn Arcturus Dinn as they begin to look for a Wookie, and maybe not get our arms ripped from our bodies too.

He seemed confused, and that confusion only made Arcturus' smile grow wider.
"A Wookiee" he repeated once more, the word starting to feel foreign and wrong on his tongue for all he'd just uttered it. The kid asked him if he was aware of their general hostility toward strangers, to which he simply shrugged. "Reckon I'm counting on that."
As they spoke they walked, in some random direction or another; Arcturus was curious as to what suggestions the kid might have for him. Of course, he could have found a Wookiee by himself. That would have been easy. But then his offer to help him would have been a little strange, would it not? Nobody asked for nothing in return for a favour, not here on Nar Shaddaa at least.
And Arcturus had a reputation to uphold.
Talks of a gladiatorial pit made him cringe. He shook his head to that. "I think the gambling scene sounds far more fun, don't you?" He tapped the boy on the back of his shoulder in a friendly fashion, and chuckled as he did. Then he took out a couple of credit chits from his pocket, and offered them over to him. "Here, maybe you can learn to play Pazaak or somethin'. Well, then, lead on to the games, good sir!"
