Murkhana has been pacified. With the dissolution of the Pro-CFW Government and the local militias scattered and broken, Imperial rule has returned to the once rebellious and defiant world. Martial law has been imposed across the planet as a new Imperial Governor has been appointed, tasked with tightening the Final Dawn’s grip over the planet and extinguishing the last vestiges of resistance left on the planet.

However, as the dust begins to settle on Murkhana there remains much to be accomplished on the side of the Final Dawn. Dozens of former Imperial Worlds remain under the thumb of the corrosive Confederacy of Free Worlds while others continue to suffer from the wrath of the Mandalorians and the Sith.

If the future of the Final Dawn and, by extension, Imperialism is to be secured, then a proper plan of action must be devised to ensure the proper reclamation of former Imperial worlds and the consolidation of the Final Dawn’s position in the Outer Rim in the face of its many adversaries.

While Murkhana might be secure for the time being, the Final Dawn has many obstacles to overcome if it is to emerge as a major force that can challenge the new galactic status quo. From the lingering Confederacy of Free Worlds, to the many emerging Imperial Warlords, to the mighty Galactic Governments that have sought to suppress Imperialism across the galaxy, the future of the Final Dawn cannot remain secure as long as these forces continue to stand against it.

As such, the Supreme Commander has summoned various high-ranking members of the Final Dawn to Cholganna. There, a summit will be held to discuss the various strategies that could be implemented to ensure the ultimate triumph of the Final Dawn against the many adversaries that it will inevitably face in the coming conflict as it moves to bring forth the ultimate resurgence of Imperialism across the galaxy.

Despite the collapse of the local Pro-CFW Government and the restoration of Imperial rule on Murkhana, there remain various scattered local militias who continue to resist the rule of the Final Dawn across the planet. If the Final Dawn’s hold on Murkhana is to become permanent, then these last pockets of resistance must be crushed and swept away once and for all.

As Imperial ground forces are deployed en masse across Murkhana, their orders from High Command are clear and simple. Destroy any rebel militia you come across through any means necessary and leave no survivors, for an example must be made to those who dare to stand against the Final Dawn.

Mimkin's Imperial Remnant | The Final Dawn

The campaign for Murkhana was not much of a tactical victory for the Final Dawn as the Rebel Fleet had managed to reorganize itself after finding itself isolated from any assistance from the wider Confederacy of Free Worlds though they had managed to occupy the planet without taking to many casualties on the surface.

The Flight of Fancy had taken superficial damage along its hull during the battle but nothing that a few days in the local drydocks could not fix. The fact of the matter was as he approached the blast doors of the council chamber was that the Supreme Commander Marlon Sularen had allowed it to happen, his precious flagship put in danger because their supposed leader was to busy making grand speeches then assisting with the naval engagement.

He entered the chamber with little ceremony as the Left Head raised his chin proudly, allowing the folds underneath his head to jiggle. He moved his unoccupied hand to his chest to brush some specks of dust from his medals, mostly unearned but a few that he had managed to snag while working for the Dark Empire.

"The Most Bountiful Warlord of the Five Points System, Admiral Vortigern Mimkin has arrived on time," he declared in a arrogant tone, while the Right Head nodded in agreement. It was irrelevant that others had come before him; what mattered was that he was present now to represent his power bloc at this unexpected summit.

"We're running behind schedule," the Right Head whispered, his tone noticeably softer. He kept his eyes down, observing the subtle movement of the members of the Final Dawn's High Command.

"Everyone is already in their seats. Just look at them. They aren't even looking our way." The Left Head's eye began to twitch in annoyance at the suggestion that they were running behind before pulling out the chair for them to sit on.
