• Accessibility: The Museum of Sapient Rights is mere blocks from the center of the capital, and is easily accessed by anyone. At the door is a reception desk, where one may receive a ticket and, if they so choose, make a donation to the museum. Once one receives a ticket, they walk through a small security check to make sure they are unarmed, before being let into the museum’s main area.

 • Description: Towering about the streets of Pandath, The Museum of Sapient Rights is a four-story building, with primarily wave-like wall structure. The entrance to the building is an impressive stonework facade, with a cloth awning shielding the entrance from sunlight. Once inside, the foyer stretches all the way to the ceiling, with the walls painted with memorials of historical humanitarians. Once inside the main hall beyond the foyer, one will be in a large space, with the ceiling open to view into the next 3 floors. Statues and works of art depicting the greatest medical, humanitarian, and political minds grace the floors and walls on the museum.
POINTS OF INTEREST

 • Main Hall: Once one exits the foyer and enters the main hall of the museum, they will be greeted by the current featured work of art. Currently, the featured artwork is a large, gold statue. This statue depicts the freeing of the slaves who now inhabit Er’Kit. At the bottom of the statue, stands a figure of Mand’alor Yasha Cadera, handing a freed slave a brick, looking at them proudly. The rest of the statue depicts other freed slaves building Evaar Buycika from the ground up, and others casting away the chains that bound them. An informational plaque atop a wooden stand provides a description of the piece, as well as the quote “In honor of my fallen brothers and sister of Er’kit, who died fighting for our freedom. - Ki’er Artfree”

 • The Force Sins of Manda’yaim: Located on the second floor of the museum resides a permanent cyclorama exhibit, depicting the events surrounding the Force Cure. Beginning with the tragedy that destroyed Mandalore, a picture of an erupting volcano with cracked earth around it, is surrounded by screaming figures, as a house is engulfed in lava. The scene fades to the infamous incident where hundreds of Mandalorian civilians were sent into the vacuum of space at Roche. As this scene fades from the dark vacuum of space, filled with civilians so cruelly genocided, the black void turns into a dark red backdrop. Within this red, Ra Vizla looks down at a shattered Mandalore in his hands, anger in his eyes. In the next part of the cyclorama, Ra is seen calmly administering his “Force Cure” to a nervous looking child, with Ra seemingly glowing red, smiling, and the child glowing white, frowning. Ra Vizla and the child stand before a TSAC, the building glowing a menacing red. The glow from the child fades into the next piece, which includes Mandalorians of many clans, standing around a bonfire. On one side of the fire, the Mando’ade argue and bicker amongst themselves, on the other side of the fire, a few of the Mandalorians seen arguing on the other side, can be seen walking away from their vode, into a black void. This black void stretches on and on, until the buy’ce of Ra Vizla is shown on its side, symbolizing his disappearance. From the void, shines a bright, golden light, which surrounds the young figure of [member="Yasha Cadera"], welcoming home a few of the Mando’ade that had left the bonfire in an earlier scene. At the very end, is a paragraph explanation of the exhibit, including the color theory surrounding it, from the artist herself, Mira Gred.

 • Hall of Heroes: A winding path on the fourth floor of the museum that is dedicated to historical politicians, doctors, and humanitarians who fought for the betterment of the galaxy at large. The first figures one meets at the entrance of the hall are Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan, and Senator Padme Amidala, both key figures in the galaxy during their lifetimes. Another figure seen in the beginning of the planned path is Jedi Master Fay, known for her ability to end wars, resolve conflicts, and her very long life. Other statues include those such as Harter Kalonia, Nomi Sunrider, Odan-Urr, Tarsus Valorum, and Akanseh.

 • Food Court: Some of the best chefs in Pandath work here, creating delicious dishes from the fresh meat and produce from the city’s surrounding farms. The food court takes up the entire back half of the second floor, and offers a large selection of types of food. Tables and booths accented with art from local artists provides a colorful, yet classy, feeling to those eating. The smell of fresh food often fills the museum, and for reasonable prices some even come to the museum on their work lunches! All proceeds from the food court go to paying artists, farmers, and the cooks that work here.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Built in 849 ABY, the Museum of Sapient Rights started off well, but fell into decline after its first year. It steadily began to fall into disrepair, losing employees, and overall not being taken care of. Filthy windows, cracked paint, dirt, and dust covered the once grand museum, 856 ABY when Alor Taozi Fuyuan made a proposition to the government of Taanab.

This proposal was that she would sponsor the museum, from her own pocket, if the museum was cleaned up and refurbished. Once repaired, and with the Tal Alor’s approval, the museum was officially reopened. Donations were optional, as support for the hospital, as appreciation from the government for the Alor of the planet’s protectors. Over time, the museum became a popular field trip location for the local schools, which provide a large donation for each trip from the parents.
