GENERAL INFORMATION

COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Availability: Rare
  • Deployment: Minor
  • Strengths :

+ Large Force Sensitive Population: Although not properly trained many of them can utilize force abilities like Telekinesis and Force Sense offensively and defensively.

+Exotic Weaponry & Exotic Fighting style: The way they fight is not common and the weapons they use are very unconventional without losing lethality in their use. Unorthodox is an understatement.

+ Elite Anubians: They are better trained and better equipped than the average unit. Their racial abilities work excellently in combat when used properly. They are very proficient in close quarter combat or combat where they are directly attached to a Sith Lord to support him/her. Anubians are physically honed, highly intelligent and have a natural resistance to heat.

    Neutral:
-+Newly Adapted: The new technology given to them makes them much more effective but such a jump in technological age, from becoming a decent force to now using technology from the highest caliber, will take some getting used to.

    Weaknesses

    - Racial Weaknesses: As any other Anubian they do horribly in cold temperatures

    - They have no resistances to sonic weaponry

    - Anubians cannot pilot many standard Imperial vehicles because of their physicality, they lack combined arms capabilities with armor

  • Description:

Created at the inception of the Ancient Eye the Molok legion is a conglomerate of the elite warrior chaste of Ankypt left over after the fall of The Ancient Eye. Loyal to Mythos since their creation and hand picked because of their brutality in combat, force sensitivity or both the Molok legion is the elite the planet has to offer. Trained by military sectors of the Ancient Eye specialized in elite military training they were initially meant to be in the royal guard of the nobility of the planet. Mythos commissioned them afterwords to be the exclusive guard of the Black Pyramid in Ankhypt where he had his foul resurrection a place in the dread wastes meant for the passing of the dead.

Indoctrinated into the ways of the Sith, those force sensitive were given command of the rest and trained in the dark arts of the Sith Warriors to form a grim legion of merciless warriors.

The Pyramid itself being a dark side nexus of the most foul kind they trained in the most hostile and violent environments imaginable. Most died in the training in the wicked sands of Ankhypt, torn apart by marauders and the elements alike if the beasts of the sands did not catch them first. Mythos himself oversaw their training alongside all those present during the Ancient Eye that held the title of Warlord.

They distinguished themselves as tenacious warriors, being granted the privilege of fighting in Thyferra, their stealthy abilities allowed them scout enemy positions and eliminate enemy targets with ease. Once fully integrated within the Sith Empire the Molok legion became even more powerful, having access to the weapons and gear of the Empire opened up new possibilities and made them even more lethal. Mythos quickly learned that they preferred the arsenal that was more exotic, having much more experience with rare and off the beaten path weapons systems due to their exclusion from the galaxy.

They are excellent trackers, master marksmen and vicious attackers, using their incredible speed to their advantage. They are capable of totally overwhelming enemy positions due to their large size and quick speed not to mention their close combat abilities and their racial quality of jumping and leaping amazing bounds with a single leap.

Once in the Sith Empire their devotion became to their new God King, Darth Carnifex and his servant Mythos in their quest for Sith Supremacy. Donning the helm of being in the newly forming Vornskr legion, they trained with their new allies and new weaponry.

    -Culture-

At the heart of the Molok legion is their desire for combat and bloodshed to the Ankhyptian god Molok. They believe he is in the heart of every battle and it is his will that carries life to be born a new through the bloodshed of the enemies of his worshipers in battle. Their cult is one of life and not death, through death only life can be created, through the death of their enemies specifically. The dark cult was a relic of eons past until Mythos revived it, as the dark side of the force was Molok and to please him would bring life from death. The last legion of Molok died in the Beuhku fortress on the other side of the planet from their Black Pyramid, not even it's ash found as the cataclysm destroyed Ankhypt.

Their way survived because Mythos dug their history and the remaining cults of Molok from the planet to revive the dead religion and weaponize it with the most powerful warriors of the planet as his command. In the Sith Empire they fit right in, snug as a vibrodagger into the heart of the glutton. They prize prowess in combat, a mastery in the force and brutality as qualities of a great warrior and consider mercy, harmony and peace to be the traits of weakness and the enemies of Molok and his embodiment: The Sith Lords.

    -Hierarchy-

Above all there is the Emperor, below him is their prophet and his servant Mythos and directly below him is the Brazen Lord, the master of the black pyre, the ash maker and that title belongs to only one; Anok-eh.

-The Brazen Lord It is he who command the Molok legion and the entirety of the Anubian sector of the Sith Empire. To be granted this position is only through prowess in combat, the will of the prophet himself, the will of Molok and mastery of the pyramid. When they were formed they all took the rites and recited the dread incantations but only one was to be chosen as the strongest. Challenges have come only to fall before the brazen lord, anubians who seek the title can claim their chance but none dare step forward. Although challenges are discouraged by the Sith Empire and frowned upon by the Inquisition the anubians in general do not care and consider it a part of their spirituality.

-The Dark Flame are the Generals and Colonels of the Molok Legion, each in charge of their own regiment and entrusted with the deployment of their forces in accordance to the orders of brazen lord. They are a group of individuals within the legion famed for their talents in killing, leading and devotion to Molok. They are much more powerful in single combat than those under them and they see challenges rarely. They are denoted by their large black blades in ceremonial events and their large purple and black capes. In battle they are seen commanding the legion from behind the Dreadnoughts.

-Dreadnoughts of Molok These are the master sergeants and Captains of the legion, they handle entire companies and are responsible for personally leading them into battle. It is common to see them preparing their troops and leading behind the Obelisks. This is where most of the Sith Sorcerers are stationed, those who conduct rituals and rites as well as the use of spells and other sith sorcery. They are challenged but not very commonly, their power and strength both in the force and in hand to hand combat is formidable. They can be denoted by the skull belt they carry in ceremony and their decorated spears that act as guideons and war banners.

-Obelisks Of Molok There are the sergeants and lieutenants of the Legion. They are responsible for a squad or a unit no larger than eight Anubians. They can be seen in the front line fighting beside their savages and barking out orders to them in rapid fashion. They are stronger than the normal grunt and are skilled in fighting in close and long distances, they are rarely force sensitive but some may be. They are denoted by carrying a kopesh like sword in ceremony and in battle they carry sidearms. They are commonly challenged by their underlings.

-Savages of Molok These are the backbone of the legion, the grunt, the infantrymen of the legion. The legion does not carry support, only combat arms, their support is entirely outsourced meaning that their lowliest soldier is only designed to kill and conquer like the rest of the legion. They are not particularly skilled like their superiors but they are still tenacious, vicious and cunning warriors. They are skilled in many different types weaponry not just what they are specifically assigned to and they are devoted and loyal to their Emperor to a fanatical degree.

This link seems to be broken.

This is a closed-market submission. Coincidentally I own the company that produces this, so I am fine with giving you permission to use it. In the future please pay better attention to the affiliations though.

It would be helpful to have a link to their species submission. Also include their racial abilities here, please.

I think the main thing I am seeing here... is that this seems to be more an entire army than a unit submission? Correct me if I am wrong here.

It's more like an "Order" if that makes any sense at all.

Did the weaknesses and racial abilities, linked the race too!

Overall I am okay with this submission. It isn't unbalanced and with the fixes done, it is adherent to the Codex regulations.

This is the only thing that I think you should tweak- the unit template is mostly there for the creation of combat units made for PVP interaction. What you could do is pull out these Order elements and then use either the Lore organization template or the NPC group template to elaborate on the Order these guys belong to.

Because this template isn't really made to detail entire organizations, if that makes sense.

They have identifiable weapons and uniforms for PvP. That is why i thought it would be fitting to use the unit one. And the deployment being like shadowtroopers like it says cause that is more or less how many of them they are.

After considering this for a moment I can see the logic behind this.

I'd still suggest subbing a group or organization to flesh out the non-combat parts, if it has any. But with this in mind this is alright.

Pending secondary approval!
