The Merciful Ones [GR-TJO] (PM First)

Corvus simply moved forward relentlessly. Centre of Being allowed her to keep her focus on the retreating woman whilst the Force effectively controlled her saber as it blocked shot after shot with minimum effort. Years of practice with this Form will do this for you.

She ensured no emotions leaked for the dark Jedi to use. She was aware the thug was edging closer to a ship and she had to make a judgement call. Go all out for the arrest and risk lives or potentially let her escape without bloodshed. At the moment, her decision was on a knife's edge.

All Kana could do was watch in horror as not only the enemies destroyed her ship, but her own side as well. Had she been in any other situation she would have fallen to her knees in despair but there was no time for that. The man had already passed her. Varus was shooting and the only thing she could imagine herself doing was one thing, and one thing only.

She flicked her saber off and channeled the force to do the one thing she hadn’t done in ages. Amplify her own speed. It wouldn’t be by much but she would have the ability to pass the man by before he could truly reach the ship. She made a break for it. Shot for shot she could feel and see it as Varus’ shots passed her by. She ran up the ramp before coming to an abrupt stop.

There was a small fire, not a big one but things were definitely burning where the new big hole in Raven was. Had Kana managed to do her thing the criminals wouldn’t have seen her enter the ship. Though if they had seen her enter, well at least then they knew she wasn’t going to stand idly by and let them take her baby.

For now she remained at the top of the ramp in a very ready pose to be shot at. Not that she wasn't as equally ready to block the shots, of course.

Cryax heard blaster fire ring out in the air as he scrambled to get to the Republic ship, all he could do was hope the other man had terrible aim. Of course, that was unlikely. Even worse, the female Jedi not engaged with Lisa was now blocking the entrance to the ship that they had had planned on jacking. At this point, Cryax wasn't even sure the ship could be flown, although admittedly that never before stopped Lisa from trying to fly a ship with a big old hole it. He noticed that the two grenades had devastated the cockpit and orange flames now lapped at the motherboard of the ship's central computer.

Suddenly a blaster shot hit him square in the back of his right leg and he fell, letting go of Nei. He let out a string of Cheunh curse words and rolled onto his back right near the ship's ramp. Not his karking legs again. He'd already been wounded once on that leg from a firefight a few months ago, and had a cybernetic knee in the other leg from a different skirmish, so more punishment to his legs took the fight right out of him at that moment.

As he grimaced up at Nei from the ground, Cryax simply mouthed the word "run," letting her know that it was ok to leave without him, something he had a feeling she was going to do anyway.

Varus was upon Cryax with his blaster still trained on the man as he skidded to a stop next to him. "Don't try anything funny.", Auro commanded as he slid his right foot under Cryax' shoulder and kicked up in the effort of flipping Cryax on his stomach. He then straddled the man before flipping his blaster rifle over his shoulder and pulling a pair of durasteel stun cuffs off of his utility belt. He then clipped them to either of the Chiss man's wrists, locking them snugly before standing back up.

"Move a muscle and I'll active the cuffs. You won't enjoy their stun function, I can assure you.", he said as he turned and pulled his rifle up off of his shoulder again. He held it at his chest as he hurried off behind Nei Laa, ready and willing to put her on the ground too.
