The Bilbringi System did not hold any planetes of worth, you wouldn’t find no city planets or stations that operated as trading nodes within the galactic commerce, neither was it known for its beauty or splendor. Tourists weren’t interested in the Bilbringi Shipyards or perhaps the few geologists who were interested in the minerals and ores that the asteroids contained, because that was what the Bilbringi System dealt in, asteroids.

But that was not why it was so infamous. Its infamy stemmed from the sheer defensive potential, asteroids which created natural choking points for the capable defending navies to use to their advantage.

But it was all only a precursor to the real thing, the extensive Bilbringi Shipyards.

An important strategic location, the shipyards had been given as a gift to Darth Arcanix by the Dark Lord himself, as an acknowledgment of her work for the cause of the One Sith.

Everything had been rolling out smoothly, until the day came that one auction undid all the fine work the Sith Lady had done in the past. Using the gift of the Dark Lord as a mere barter tool she tried to use it as a way to buy back her shares of a private company, before even going further and adding her funds to the funds of one Alicia Drey and one Solan Charr.

Some lines cannot be crossed, some gifts could not be returned just like that. The boons of the Dark Lord were his to give and take away at his earliest convenience, and today was the day of reckoning.

A fleet dropped out of hyperspace, security codes exchanged beforehand. So it would be known that the Voice of the Dark Lord had arrived in the Bilbringi System and with him a Vanguard of Sith who were all eager to see what Arcanix’s next move would be.

Bilbringi System, Arcanix’sno usage of the title Darth. Telling?Wardenship over this system has ended today by the decree of the Dark Lord and his Voices. You are to power down shields and weapons, and prepare to be boarded.”

Taeli wasn't in the system, in fact most Krayt personal that had been there had been moved to other locations as senior personal were valued while the company expanded so it was mainly a skeleton crew on the shipyards when the Voice's ships arrived in system and transmitted his message. However, the crew there did patch Taeli into the comm system by use of an S-thread booster so Taeli could address them from wherever she was in the galaxy currently.

"Voice of the Dark Lord, my humblest apologies for not being in the system to greet you personally," she said, standing at her ship's transmitter while she sat and waited for her nav computer to plot her next jump in some part of deep space. "I've sadly just began a quest to discover more about the Force, however, I'm aware of the situation and have this to say. While I appreciate the gift the Dark Lord granted me through his Wrath, a shipyard is still just a shipyard, no matter how extensive they may be. I value my . . . freedom over such a thing, as great a gift as it was. But that is precisely why I was offering it to the man who runs our largest ship provider. Not as a slight against the Dark Lord, but because Titan Industries might put it to better use than I did. You are perfectly welcome to take stewardship of the yards, of course."

With that, she closed the transmission, went back to her personal ship's cockpit, and jumped to hyperspace, her destination unknown as she went off to explore more of the galaxy.

A small, cloaked ship drifted nearby. Inside, Parash sipped from a closed-lid duraplast mug, the kind that could break skulls but wouldn't shatter if a ship hit turbulence. The mug contained stimcaf with a shot of ne'tra gal, a rare indulgence. He didn't like to risk his layers upon layers, except in the most comprehensive privacy. And there was nowhere more private than the Liberty's Veil, when he flew her. He kept another modded Cilghal-class with mimicked drive traces, but that wasn't home and didn't have the same stealth capabilities. Just another part of his new life, such as it was, along with the Taozin amulet around his neck.

The Veil's comm suite rustled with voices and data intercepts, piped through his earpiece and his visual displays. He sat back, stimcaf warming his hands through the weapons-grade mug, and observed.

Objective: Assume Direct Control

The Voice of the Dark Lord, Darth Carach was not a spiteful man, in the general sense of the word he was not a man who enjoyed to kick the dog when it was proverbially down and by all manners and means this was one of those situations. A lesser man would have berated or attempted to bring the Sith Lady down even more, but the Sith Lord was a Voice precisely because he did not find such things tasteful or pleasant.

Of course, my Lady Arcanix.’ he replied so smoothly at her explanation. ‘I shall make sure to report your cooperation to the Dark Lord and offer him your reasoning, I wish you luck with your future endeavors.’

That is what Carach would say before closing the channel and ordering his troops to start the boarding procedures, just as she had promised the Krayt personnel were cooperative and polite in their willingness to cooperate with the way of Law, a point for Arcanix if in the future there would ever be a more direct confrontation.

Carach would send them away on the transporters which he had brought with him, they would be simply send towards the nearest Sith military facility, from which they would be free to move towards whichever destination they required after suitable questioning, of course.

In the meanwhile more ships started to fill the Bilbringi Shipyards, subcontracting out to Eridium Industrial, the construction company was here to check up, test and- if needed- repair any outstanding issues with the defenses and the shipyards at large.

Better to be prudent and precise when you are dealing with something as huge as the Bilbringi Shipyards.

"Well," said Parash to nobody, "time to go to work."

As the reclamation procedures began, he flew behind a nearby moonlet and swapped ships to a more appropriate Santhe/Sienar shuttle. The Liberty's Veil remained cloaked, gravitically-modulated, thrust-trace-damped and so forth. The shuttle was an ungainly beast; it didn't respond as easily to his hands or thoughts. As he brought it arcing around the moonlet and into sensor range of the fleet and the shipyards, though, he had to admit that the brave shuttle TX-y8274 was an infinitely better vessel in at least one respect:

It was authorized.

On approach, he sent the codes of an established One Sith technical specialist and Dart Carach's apprentice -- both of which he happened to legitimately be. He'd established his bona fides over the past year or so, and this would be one more feather in his cap. And pretty soon they might let him invent the things he wanted to invent.

He docked with the Bilbringi shipyards, disembarked, and commenced a thorough database combing, in consultation with other One Sith personnel. Arcanix' loyalties were in doubt, and copies of Republic SCINET iterative artificial intelligence could hide just about anywhere.
