A couple of days had passed since Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun ' Wedding, Caedyn and Asaraa having been present at Mnemoland during the attack that had taken place in order to capture his Sister, or worse. So far the holonet hadn't listed anything new as far as any leads went into those responsible and their capture. Fortunately, Caedyn and Lori had managed to keep the residence a well-kept secret, much like their parents had kept Mnemosyne away from their family for as long as possible, meaning that they were relatively safe from further harm or attack for the time being.

The timing of it all had been terrible, really. Caedyn hadn't yet told Lori that he was getting involved in the Eclipse Rebellion against the Eternal Empire, yet somehow they'd tracked his Sister down and without warning rained all kinds of hell upon the fun park. Caedyn hoped that there were no casualties, but the wedding had been held in one specific part of the park and they'd not had the time to police the scene, instead having to leave it to the authorities while he, his Sister and everyone else tried to get to safety.

Dangerous times like those were what made days like today so important though, days where everything was quiet and peaceful and the company was at it's finest, able to spend the time relaxing with his girlfriend, making the most of the time they had together.

Caedyn hadn't forgotten the discussion they had started back at Loreena's wedding. She had surprised him by turning up for the event and the ceremony had naturally led to the subject of their own prospective wedding, were it to ever happen. Truthfully, there was nothing about the idea that Cae didn't like, spending their lives together had already been the plan. There was no one else, nor did Caedyn ever plan for there to be. They'd been through so much together, and only had the rest of their years ahead.

Standing outside the estate, Caedyn looked out across the countryside, enjoying the peaceful sight of the open green plains and clear blue sky. The Family Estate was thankfully situated away from the Capital, not far but far enough to be able to enjoy the beauty of Mnemosyne without the sound and smell of fumes that the metro, Port Solaris, held.

There was something about being out in the countryside that was more than peaceful, it was calming too, like a balm for the soul. You could feel the force surrounding you, weaving through the plants and the animals that surrounded the estate, the birds that flew overhead or the grass and flowers that provided the house with it’s picturesque surrounds. It was a sea of energy that you could just close your eyes and relax into, that you could feel surrounding you like a warm blanket.

It reminded Asaraa of her childhood in a way, those long days she’d spent in the forests of Kashyyyk, surrounding herself with the warmth of the living force. That feeling wasn’t so strong here, the living force not so prevalent, it was like the difference between a swimming pool and the sea. Not quite as overwhelming, but a comforting presence none the less.

Speaking of a pool though, Asaraa couldn’t deny that she’d enjoyed the break, the holiday they’d managed to spend at the estate. Away from the stress of the city, of their various responsibilities, a little slice of peace, of paradise. Still, it made sense to make the most of the facilities available to them right? The solitude was almost decedent, but the woman was determined to make the most of it while she could.

A pale hand rubbed at her eyes as she peered at the pool outside…it should be warm enough by now right? White teeth worked at the soft flesh of her lower lip as the woman’s eyes narrowed cautiously, it was probably best to check. Bare feet padded across the floor, the swish of a skirt around her legs a pleasant feeling as the Jedi pushed herself up to her feet. She was wearing a dress! For the warrior who often found herself pushed from one war to another, one fight or mission to another that was perhaps one of the most enjoyable parts of the holiday. She got to defer to the part of her that enjoyed that feeling. A part she rarely got to let out.

Bright blue eyes caught sight of a familiar silhouette, another pleasure that she rarely got to revel in.

“You know, if you stand there contemplating much longer you’re gonna grow roots. You know you’re allowed to open the door and go outside right?”

“You know, if you stand there contemplating much longer you’re gonna grow roots.
You know you’re allowed to open the door and go outside right?”

His thoughts were interrupted by the voice calling his attention back to the room, the familiar sound of Asaraa's tone encouraging a fond smile, turning around to take her into view. Bobbing his head in a slight nod, he knew he shouldn't be wasting the opportunity to spend as much time with her as he could.

"I'm sorry Asaraa, I was just thinking about what happened with Loreena's wedding" he explained, however, avoided going into detail and keeping the subject short, they not needing to get into that conversation again. Asaraa had been there, she knew what had taken place.

"It's nice to have you here for a change" he spoke as he walked across the room to meet her, his hands seeking her sides and placing his lips to her forehead in a loving embrace. Caedyn never missed an opportunity to remind her what she meant to him. Especially not with how rare these times were for the pair.

It wasn't often that he could convince Asaraa to make the journey back into Silver Space. At times he wondered if she was avoiding it for the past that she had so long spent serving in the Order of the Silver Jedi, yet there on Mnemosyne he couldn't help but wonder if she could settle down on such a world. It was a fleeting thought, one that came with mixed emotions, hope, pleasure and knowing disappointment for how unlikely it truly was.

"How're you feeling being so far away from everything? Mnemosyne's a bit of a break from what feels like the real Galaxy, huh".
