The waterfall of peace

Rex was sitting next the waterfall of peace. All the animals around it. He was enjoying the peace and quiet. Mediating upping his skill will animal control. Especially with the necklace was making it easier. He had his light sabres on the ground next to him meditating on the crystals within them. The two items helped him with cleansing his mind, using the force power and animal control.

Rex was waiting for [member="Tom Taff"] and [member="Mykes Vatak"] he could feel them heading towards him. The training droids as well as some other tests. He had two smaller beasts next to him both of them under beast control. Everything was ready for them to begin learning some force powers.

Location - Noverskaa
On route to Dad with [member="Mykes Vatak"]

This was the new planet they had discovered. It had an abundance of life. As such he had made a company outpost here with [member="Rex Taff"] permission. He actually enjoyed it on the planet and as such he stayed here a lot of his time. He was always wary of the SJO not being far from the planet. But on the whole it was really nice here on the planet. Lots of new plants and animals. Plenty to do on the planet.

But right now he was heading towards his dad with Mykes. Mykes looked usual but he still looked amazing to him. He wished he got to see mykes more often but the outpost here was mostly biological stuff. Maybe one day he would invent a reason to have him here. Right now they where heading towards Dad. They would arrive and Rex would be sitting there.

 

[Mykes Vatak]

Mykes Vatak had gotten rather comfortable in the company of [member="Rex Taff"] and [member="Tom Taff"]...more towards the latter. He had not come to this place before, this planet. Not until Tom had brought Mykes along with him. So many plant life about, covered in greenery. "How wonderful this place is, so much plant life" he spoke under his breath. So much life, and it made him feel full of life as well. A wonderful place it all was.

Tom looked at [member="Mykes Vatak"] "It is a wonderful planet, wait till you see the waterfall of peace though. All of the animal life around here all in the same place. It is amazing" He then took Mykes hand and led him to where dad was. Showing the waterfall and all the animals there. "See look all the life here, it is amazing." He then kissed Mykes cheek and looked at his father.

 

[Mykes Vatak]

Mykes raised a brow towards [member="Tom Taff"] at hearing that from him. A waterfall? Waterfall of Peace? Sounded peaceful enough to rest at. He looked down as Tom took his hand and he found his face a little red. He was still somewhat getting used to it all, the contact and the comfort. Then Tom kissed his cheek as they were coming towards [member="Rex Taff"] and he ended up blushing more before the two.

Rex stood up looking at the two young men handing over one of each of these taff-necklaces to the two of them. "Here put them on, they will help you with a few of your force powers, not all but some. Tom can explain what to you later Mykes." He then asked "Mykes how much do you know on the force, Tom already knows some abilities. So I want to know, what do you know?" He would look directly at [member="Mykes Vatak"] the animals next to him were sleeping quiet peacefully.

Tom would place the necklace on. He knew what it did already as he called a small animal over with the force and picked it up patting it in much the same way people would kids. Tom would look at his dad when he asked what Mykes knows. "Dad that is hardly fair, Mykes has never used the force before." He would finish pouting. He didn't want [member="Mykes Vatak"] to be asked questions he didn't know.

 

[Mykes Vatak]

Mykes took one of the necklaces. He had no idea what it was, but he felt something from it as he put it over his neck. He looked from [member="Rex Taff"] to [member="Tom Taff"], then back. The force? "Uh...actually um..." He recalled that he had indeed used the Force. He used it to help him, to pull tools and to focus on his work. That was about all he knew. No doubt would come as a surprise to Tom, as it seemed Rex knew somewhat. Or at least could sense it.

"I can do this." He pulled on the necklace around his neck, lifting it...without the use of hands. Turning it slightly, then letting it go.

Rex smiled. How interesting. [member="Mykes Vatak"] could use the force. "See son he can, no need to worry about him." He then looked at Mykes once more. "Soooo how much force can you use?" He would stand there waiting for his response the practice droids would walk up behind him they were ready to rumble.

 

[Ravenfire]

He watched as [member="Mykes Vatak"] as he responded to Dad. The young man he called his boyfriend/significant other showed the use of the force to place it on. Tom immediately had twenty different questions for Mykes but the only one he asked was "How did you not tell me you could use the force?" There was a hint of wonder with a mix of betrayal in his eyes. Mykes knew Tom could use the force but Mykes had never told him.

The animal is his hands was calming him though. But he went quiet focusing on the animal in his arms.

 

[Mykes Vatak]

Mykes glanced at [member="Tom Taff"] as he heard the question. "You...never asked" he said, turning his gaze downwards. He never really thought of it as much, merely a way to help him. He shifted his weight a bit on his bionic leg, feeling a bit leaning a way from Tom as he felt he had done something wrong to him. He looked to [member="Rex Taff"] to answer. "That's about it....lifting small things and drawing my focus."

 

[Ravenfire]

Rex nodded. A lovers quarrel they would eventually get past it. "So you aren't able to create a shield around you yet. Well that is the first thing we will fix." As he stepped back between the droids who raised some guns. "Foam bullets, I want you to make these bullets either avoid you or stop them dead in front of you." The droids would then open fire one at Tom the other at [member="Mykes Vatak"]

Tom stood there patting the animal in his arms. He hadn't asked [member="Mykes Vatak"] but he had assumed that the man would tell him when he had shown him his force powers a bit ago. He was slightly disappointing he hadn't. As his dad stepped back he saw the droids and understood what was going on he threw up his shield. The bullets went around him with ease as he put the creature down. He stood there waiting for the next challenge and to see how much mykes knew.

 

[Mykes Vatak]

Mykes felt a little hurt, seeing how [member="Tom Taff"] made no response. Had he truly upset Tom with not saying anything about it? He felt distracted as [member="Rex Taff"] explained to the both of them and he lifted his head to see the droid about to fire. He reacted quickly, raising his hands to protect himself. Trying to focus and only half were directed elsewhere.

Rex watched. His son as usual was able to move the bullets around them. [member="Mykes Vatak"] on the other hand was blocking half the other half was landing in there spots. Even thought they were foam they would hurt. He would call out "Mykes clear you mind imagine a bubble around you. That will stop the bullets." He would wait to see what Mykes did. Tom wouldn't move or say anything simply allowing the bullets to pass around him.

 

[Mykes Vatak]

Mykes shook his now somewhat sore hands. Gazing over, [member="Tom Taff"] seemed to be doing just fine now. Clear his mind, huh? How could he when he felt he had hurt Tom, how could he clear his mind? Another foam bullet hit his bionic leg, and he felt the tap shudder up. He tried to hold off the bullets more, and got an idea. He turned his mind to picturing the bullets as something else...something bigger...something that took his leg. Picturing himself under, and this time, picturing himself holding it back. And ahead of him [member="Rex Taff"] would see the bullets held off.

 

[Ravenfire]

Rex watched as [member="Mykes Vatak"] simply stopped all of the foam bullets in front of him. Rex nodded before finding two boulders. He called off the droid on Mykes. The other droid switch to a heavier ammo and fired at Tom. Tom didn't even notice it. Tom must be feeling pain at Mykes somewhat betrayal of him. It was a useful emotion in the right circumstances. However Rex knew the boys loved each other too much to fall to the dark side. The boulders floating in the air behind him. "I want you to allow these to go around you. Don't try to Stop them cause I will be pushing them into you. Trust me you aren't ready to stop me yet." He broke them in half and half again. 8 Decent sized rocks floated next to him as he began to hurl them at Mykes

 

[Mykes Vatak]

Mykes held his hands up again, trying to project the ship again. Trying to picture it going around as the small rocks flew at him. A couple managed to hit, one his leg and the other his shoulder. But the others curved around, and Mykes held his stance against the rock thrown at him from [member="Rex Taff"]. The ship pictured went around instead of on him, and he relaxed his stance.

 

[Ravenfire]

Rex nodded "Good [member="Mykes Vatak"] good." He would the call the other droid off. He would place 4 of the rocks in one square the other 4 in another square. He would then say "Sit inside the squares boys and lift the rocks. All four of them at the same time." The part he hadn't mentioned his he would bend his will against them lifting the rocks. He would wait for them to sit inside there squares.

He was watching [member="Mykes Vatak"] the whole time while he was standing there. It was hard to say he didn't still love Mykes. Cause he did, he just felt like Mykes could have informed him about being a force user before. It wasn't long before Dad set the next task. Tom would look at Mykes and nod before walking into his square of stones and sat between them trying to lift them. They were heavier than normal stones. It wasn't long before he figured out his dad had them testing his will. Maybe him and Mykes could work together if Mykes would forgive him for being an bit of a nerf-herder.
