Deep Beneath The Streets Of Coruscant

"This is our time."

The doors to the silo bays beneath his platform began to open, fire and electricity spurting forth. Deep beneath the underbelly of Coruscant, the once dormant factory of the artificial intelligence Omni stirred to life. Droids wandered by, marching to war in columns of insurmountable numbers. Monitors and holograms all throughout the factory began to glimmer with a reddish glow as all power was being diverted to the silos.

"The next step to evolution."

Stepping back from the silo, Zero looked over at the avatar of Omni which was following him around like a deathly shade, a silent specter ready to begin the next phase of the war.

"Mon Calamari, Coruscant, and Corellia will be the first to be consumed."

A large tower rose in the background from the silos. Overhead bay doors began to open, light shining down from several hundred meters up. The surface of the Underbelly. The foothold of the war on Coruscant.

"Rise."

The mechanical monstrosity's platform began to rise higher as it moved toward the surface of the planet. Above, the Generals of the Army would be securing the landing zones for the infernal monstrosities. Planet Breakers, some would call them.

"Honor. Commitment. Duty, Omni."

Zero made his way to the Nexus of the Factory, placing his hand upon it's radioactive cores without much care for his own safety. He did so unharmed.

"From the ashes of war, we'll build a new world. Together. For them, the plan will continue."

Coruscant had already been thrown into chaos. Now, it was time to tighten the noose. Now, these planet breakers, these machines of war, these...World Devastators, relics of an age long passed, would reach the surface of the planet and begin to consume it. As the first one on Coruscant reached the surface, it's tractor beam would begin consuming the planet for raw materials until there was nothing left. Coruscant was ripe for the picking - at the same moment, the same would be happening on the surface of Mon Calamari and Corellia.

"Let us call together your armies, Omni. Consume these worlds and deliver the final blow to all who would oppose the plan."

=====================================================
On Coruscant, Corellia, and Mon Calamari, several dozen World Devastators are rising to the surface and will begin to consume the planets while churning out droid armies from the resources it consumes.
All Clockwork Agents are called to protect these devastators, while the NPC element protecting these super weapons should be considered very strong both in anti-infanty and anti-air.
Locations the World Devastators are spilling out of:
Coruscant - Lower Underbelly (Air Strikes Are Nearly Impossible, very Urban Warfare-esque)
Corellia - Crescent City: Finance District (Imagine New York City's Time Square.)
Mon Calamari - Beneath New Coral City (Aquatic Battle)

Coruscant. Selena had fought for her life to get off the planet. The events that had followed from there had been a flurry of missions. Seeking answers to how to stop the threat. She was not sure if anything had really been discovered or not. All she knew was that a strike was happening now. And it was on the very planet that she had fought to escape from. Now a rather sizeable strike force of dedicated Republic soldiers and Jedi were assaulting the planet. She was unsure if this was supposed to be a final blow against the droid threat, but the orders were in and she was present.

Her StealthX had entered the system quickly, escorting a transport filled with troops. She was sure thousands upon thousands would die just landing on the planet. But for her and her transport, they arrived on the planet in tact. The fly over had revealed a severely damaged planet that almost looked foreign to her. The droids had been at work on the planet. Not only were the world devastators been doing their best to destroy the planet.

She stood on top of one of the many large towers, the transport unloading behind her. The Knight looked down from the edge to see hundreds of droids swarming about. This was going to be even worse than the fight to escape.

Coruscant

A transport bearing a very distinct A on the side flew ahead of the other Jedi transports, only a quarter of their forces in this wave had made it through the atmosphere. Normally a shield to the Republic, and defenders of all sentient life. Today the Jedi would be something much different, no they were part of the tip of the spear. The defense of life mandated they go to war against Omni, and every one of them had answered the call to arms along with all the other Force-User's of the galaxy. It was quite the impressive show of unity, even as shells fired all around everyone that was swarming the planet. The fleet outside the atmosphere of the planet was one of, IF not the largest he had ever laid eyes upon. It seemed chaos and destruction were all around, and the world below looked nothing like the one they had fled only a few months ago. The droids had changed much, and the home they were coming to rescue looked nothing like what it once did. This is why we must succeed, there is no room for failure on this day. The thought turned his resolve to steel, and his spirit centered itself for the coming hell of war.

Blue eyes scanned the destroyed horizon, before grabbing the communicator that would broadcast his message to The Teferi, before sending it to all Jedi in the galaxy.

"Everyone, today is what years of training and practice have led to. We often preach of our mandate of saving all life, well today is the day to back up those words." Another explosion rocked near the transport, and he planted his feet firmly. A quick adjustment of his grip with his other hand allowed him steady footing as he continued. "The orders each of you have been given are not to be broken, and you will work together with those we normally defend the galaxy from. Special times call for special circumstances, and we will not let differences in creed or old grudges decide this day. Omni cares not for any of what normally separates us, and any division can be used to his advantage. So protect ever individual near you, and do your jobs to the best of your abilities."

Blue eyes met gray as he looked to his personal protector, Seroth Ur-Rahn. Even if there was no need for the Jedi Knight, today would be the rare exception.

"This war is one against extinction, and we can't afford to let that happen. Follow the code, and honor all those around you. I have enjoyed my time as GrandMaster, and I promise to try my best to survive the day. Know the honor has been mine to serve the galaxy side by side with you all, and there are none finer than you. Show the galaxy what we strive to be, and do those we protect proud. I'm at a loss of what to say honestly, because we've never faced a threat like this. So I'll just say this.."

Another beat passed as he nodded to Seroth and the other Jedi on the ship.

"...fight so there is a tomorrow so we can have these petty wars and squabbles. Fight so that we can one day better the galaxy and push past the need for these conflicts to be the only force that can unify us all. I love everyone of you, and may the Force be with you all on this day." As the last words fell from his lips, he changed the frequency on his comm-unit to the Sith transport where Ashin Varanin was.

"Empress, on this day our forces are as one. Let's stop Omni, and meet up on Coruscant as one. Together I think there is nothing we can't accomplish, and Omni will have no answer for the two of us fighting as one. Darron out."

Relinquishing the Comm, he went down and took his seat on the transport as he willed it to try and make it through the explosions sounding all around them. A quick look at the display on the wall showed they were about to land at the closest point they could land on near the World Destroyer. What made this one so special was the energy signature emitting from it, something big and powerful was near. Well as near as one could get in the most heavily contested landing zone the Jedi Master had ever seen in his entire existence. Much less hear about, or even read in legends. Guess history will be written on this day, I hope it is us who writes it and not Omni. Darron looked those with him over once more before yelling over the din of explosions echoing in the cramped space.

"Any last bright ideas? We are kind of going off of blind luck and the Force on this one."

Fondor

The subspace radio was filled with reports from Corellia, and the reports were... disturbing. The mountains to the north of Crescent City, a city whose vibrancy and elegance was second only to Coronet City, appeared to explode and from the ashes rose a monstrosity that had been subject to myth for centuries. How they had been stopped before, Ayden did not know. All he knew was that these giant machines, these... world devastators were not something to be dismissed. Battle droids could be broken, their banners cast down. This was a whole new game.

Ayden turned and tapped the intercom to the building's internal com system. "@[member="Cira"], meet me in the conference room on the fifty-forth floor. We have a problem."

Coruscant

Onyx rocked inside his ship as he broke through the atmosphere. He remembered weeks earlier when he first set foot on Coruscant with Lon. He sighed. The war was at its end.

He turned his head to see massive machines, destroying everything. As he came closer and closer to the planet, his adrenaline pumped faster and faster. His mind was running dozens of scenarios of how the battle could be fought. Many of them resulting in them failing. He blocked those ones out. Failure was not a option. No matter what they had to press forth. They had to win.

Onyx breathed in a heavy sigh as he neared the LZ, just outside the Jedi temple were a FOB was being formed. Onyx knew he would see some of his old comrades there. He had received comm from a few. He only hoped the combined forces of the galaxy could win. He silently spoke to himself as he got closer and closer to the fight. "You cannot fear death. It is natural." As he spoke the ride became more and more bumpy. His ship was being hit from below from fire as droids launched their viscous attack. He ignored it. "You must face death. You are death. You are Onyx."

He opened his eyes and stood from his seat. He walked over to his locker where he was met by his personal droid, M4. "What shall I do when we land sir?"

"Get out of here M. I don't think I'll be coming back from this one."

"Sir?"

"You heard me. As soon as we land get the ship over to Korriban...." Onyx looked over and saw a hologram photo that was taken of him and Darren Shaw on Korriban. He sighed. "Take it to the Valley of the Dark Lords. Wait there until the battle ends."

Before M4 could reply, the ship landed and shook. Onyx grabbed his two lightsabers tightly in his hands and made his way out into the battle.

Kai Xyn Dependus

The Sexiest Jedi Alive
Today would be a day that will make a note that unity within the galaxy can be achieved. No matter the circumstances, if others could stop and join together today then isn't their hope that it could one day be a true reality. It was that hope for this and survive that called Kai out of his absence, his mind prepping itself as he knew today would likely be a suicide mission for everyone but also that every one person is worth something and will fight for their right to live. Grandmaster Darron had started to speak however Kai stood in his presence for the speech. He could see the prowess the Grandmaster possessed and if he didn't even think him coming back was guaranteed what did that speak for others. But no, doubt was not the jedi way even if he had to push himself past his limits today he'd at least ensure the Grandmaster prevailed.

It was out of sense of respect as to what he's done and accomplished in his relatively short time as the Grandmaster. "Nah, you can't go dying on us yet Master Wraith. You got the harder job you see, you gotta keep surviving." He said with a slight laugh. It was a part of his nerves, at this point he was so ready to go out and fight that remaining still was irritating the **** out of him. "Today we fight with our enemies of long ages; I think our chances of surviving are pretty good. We got destiny on our side and all that." Today he held his extended double bladed saber, it was his best saber as he originally started his training with a double bladed lightsaber.

At times the ship shook and lurched violently but as Jedi their was a calm before the storm he could feel in everyone here. It felt good to be around his brothers and sisters once again, and seeing younger faces now grown and ready. When Master Wraith mentioned ideas, Kai found himself accessing his holo-pad quickly reflecting on their current forces and weapons and gear. "I think it would be a better option to have teams of two masters, and two knights and a consular of assorted orders. Utilizing's the Sith's grenades the Eaters which were designed to rapidly eat away at metals, we could easily infiltrate the World Devastators. However, once inside the machines vast power output would kill any type of communication. But I know our consular would be able to communicate through ways of the force. Thus if one group finishes early, they can back up a potential group that might need assistance."

Coruscant

Ben gazed upon his own hands, which were steady, so steady that it bothered him a bit. No matter how nervous he became, how scared, how angry, his hands never shook. Not even for a moment. He had been on countless battlefields, faced Sith, armies, anything that could be thrown his way he stood in front of with a look of determination on his face. All the while his hands stayed steady and true, never betraying him, always doing exactly as they were told. He remembered one of his first combat missions he had been paired with a young Jedi Knight, Ben was still a Padawan, and he remembered seeing the Knights hands shake as he held his lightsaber as their ship was about to land. Ben wondered if he would ever get like that, if nervousness would every overtake him so much that he had no control over his body, but it never did.

He never knew why they never shook, and it wasn't like he wanted them too, he just found it strange that his body never reacted like others did. Sometimes he wished he could know what it felt like to be so taken aback by a moment that he had no control over the tremors in his body, to feel normal, to be something other than a Jedi. There was no other option, though, this was the life he had been given and he loved it. It was only normal to question things, but to dwell on them, that was a topic for another day.

Standing aboard the Teferi he dropped his hand and he gazed out of a window upon Coruscant, his homeworld, well his birth world. He had no attachments to the world, other than the fact that he had been born there, and his mother had once lived there. Never meeting his mother he never had the chance to love her or grow attached to her. He wished he could have met her, felt the loving embrace of someone who loved him unconditionally, but the force had different plans for him. It had been so long since he had any emotional attachments to anyone that he almost forgot what it was like. Sure, he had friends like Darron, but that was different. It was not the unconditional love that a spouse or a mother could bring to him.

So as the ship approached the battleground the only person he was worried he would let down was himself and the Jedi Order. He had no one to go home to after the battle, and in a way, he liked it like that. He had nothing holding him back, nothing to stop him from doing exactly as he must to accomplish a goal, and that was what made him a great Jedi. The only people he had to live for was the rest of the Jedi Order, and he would gladly give up his life to save that Order, and he wouldn't think twice about it.

Darron began his speech, and for a brief moment, he kept his gaze outside on the looming battle before looking down at his hand once more to see if it was shaking. Steady as ever. Turning, he listened to Darron, being thankful that he was not the one to give the speech. Ben was not one for speeches, often times being awkward with his words, or saying things too directly and making it seem worse than it really was. Darron could rouse a crowd, boost morale, he could make a single man fight an army of a thousand people if he wanted to. He respected that, the Jedi needed that, and he was glad to have the man on his side.

"What more do we need besides blind luck and the force?" Ben quipped as Darron finished his speech and asked for suggestions. The time for suggesting was long gone, they were moments away from battle, the plan was set in stone. It was simple, stop Omni, at all costs. With the combined might of every warrior in the galaxy there was no way they would be toppled. Omni was powerful, but everything had a weakness, all they had to do was live long enough to exploit it. Ben felt it, the coming deaths, through the force and it irked him. Pushing the thoughts aside, he stood beside Darron, standing tall and not looking nervous. If everyone else saw him ready for battle, then maybe they would follow suit, he was good at keeping his cool.

Coruscant - High Orbit - Aboard Transport
Any last bright ideas?

...The boy felt that any considerations towards alternate methods of unseating Omni and destroying his armies had already been taxed. Taxed, and found wanting. Such was why a score of fleet remnants joined at the rallying call above Kuati, was why their hull-scarred and pitted battleships lulled in uneasy slumber besides equally wounded vessels belonging to their arch-enemies. Empire and Republic, in bed to dispel the Clockwork Rebellion, and neither enjoying the company. Transit had been spent with Seroth holed up in a cramped bunk chamber, turning the hours through traditional meditation, muscle-crunching exercises and subsequent limbering stretch phases. The Force, its temperate echo and tactile tapestry energy-fabric, was strained with icy, hollow shards echoing from their mirror counterparts. Darron explained succinctly, simply, that there was nothing for it: if Omni succeeded in his apocalyptic designs, their annihilation would be both perfect and scouring.

Only their grousing molecules would remain to carry on their eternal rivalry.

Oblivion was a terrible end, Seroth decided. And hate an awful poison, a corroding fuel. So a moment was spent in simple reexamination, wondering after their estranged 'brothers' and 'sisters' touched as well by frail destiny. What had brought them to these moments? What choices and fates had conspired to raise them up? ...Had he any say in condemning them? The larger the moral queries Jedi found themselves facing, the more Seroth was convinced that the Force had never meant for them to try and grapple against them. There would be time in the weeks and months following Omni's hopeful downfall; more than enough time to settle accounts.

Whatever end - victory, annihilation - the youth's decided road would be always constant: principled, inspired, and side by side bleeding with friends.

And so he entered the opened, multi-tiered bridge decking alongside what Jedi warriors had been selected to muster out. As ever, he was arraigned in a simple, long sleeved tunic with dark slacks and a worn waist-harness, carrying tools of their collective trade and a pair of iconic, grey-matted blade-hilts. Past the Grandmaster, past the warped plastisteel view-plating, Coruscant laid with high ashen overcast thundering with fits of sick, sodium-yellow weapon discharges. Droid fighter-swarms, venting trails of atmospheric pollution clinging to their ion-wakes, rose as ominous, wriggling tendrils. The fleet was deploying as Darron spoke, vessel cannons burning metal-gored furrows through machine ranks attempting to flank in and gut their shielding with intensive fire. The lights played upon their drawn faces; Seroth breathed gently and strolled forward, taking up Darron's left flank behind his armoured shoulder, arms akimbo.

"Omni will give no quarter," The boy said within close earshot. "And neither can we. This is not aggression. This is not war. This is defense of all living things, sentient and otherwise. Our creed was written for such a day as this. The Machines will not find us wanting."

It didn't take long for Cira's hologram to pop up over Ayden's holoarray. With the reconstruction on Fondor, all of her attention had been on those efforts. As always, her hair had been parted on the side and slicked back into a high ponytail at the crown of her head, drawing back her eyes and making them slant more than usual, accenting her cheekbones.

"What's going on?"

@[member="Cira"]

Annoyance played over his features. When he had called her, this is not the meeting he had in mind. It was rare for Ayden to sound concerned or look anything less than utterly calm and composed. So the obvious annoyance in his voice was certainly unusual, as was the noticeable unease with which he stood there, staring at her hologram. Rather than try to convey to her the gravity of what was going on on Corellia, Ayden simply tapped into her com signal and his image to her suddenly changed and projected the devastation that was being wrought on Corellia.

"We have a problem."

Coruscant - aboard the Teferi
@All Jedi

Rosa sat before the view-port on the bridge of the Teferi, deep in meditation Using the quiet before the storm to gather as much strength as she could and build and emotional shield around her. The coming fight would be exhausting, not only physically, but emotionally for in the midst of battle was when all emotions ran high and the last thing Rosa needed was to find herself battling everyone else's emotions when she had her own to contend with.

Stretching her empathy once final time across the ship, she touched the mind of each Jedi in turn, projecting one emotion, her timing matching that of Darron's speech, perfectly. It was unplanned, but as she reached them all she felt them reaching back, each one of them grasping onto that one emotion that linked them all together, that drove them forward and would guide their hands in the coming battle.

Hope.

Hope that they would succeed. Hope that Omni would fall and they could once more rebuild their society. Hope that their friends and family would survive. All this and so much more they hoped for. Smiling, Rosa withdrew from them and wrapped her mental shield around herself before finally opening her eyes and seeing the chaos below, she drew in a sharp breath before exhaling slowly, accepting what she saw, safe in the knowledge that today it would end.

Yet another through crept into her mind, a conversation between her and Darron and a flicker of fear ran through her. She could not loose him today. she would not loose him today. Drawing in a deep breath, she gathered all of her negative emotions and exhaled them, emptying herself of her fears. Rising from her seat she turned to face them all, her force signature calm, and determined.

"A full frontal assault would be pointless." she said softly as she approached the adamant company "We need a distraction, something to draw the infantry's attention so we can get close to these destroyers."

Corellia
OmegaPyre Coronet Base

The sun filtered lazily through the clouds, illuminating what was a rather pleasant day. Warm, a light breeze to cool him off periodically... it wasn't perfect, but it was good enough. Or rather, it would have been good enough had his stomach not been rolling.

Sarge was one of those with a peculiar sixth sense for impending doom. The kind of gut instinct some soldiers were blessed with, and others simply didn't have.

Right now it was telling him to get off this planet. But he couldn't abandon his adopted him. He'd never do that.

Pulling his cloak tighter around him, he made his way to the command center. "Report.", he snaps. The officers there looked at him like he had two heads. This disheveled Sergeant, with beard beyond regulation and far inferior to them in rank... ordering them around?

A laughable notion.

"Report? To you?", someone asks incredulously, a laugh in his voice.

"Shut up and tell me what's going wrong.", he snarls.

The room grew awkwardly quiet as eyes shifted to monitors and readouts. "Something's awry." Understatement of the century. Holographic displays in the room shifted, and broadcast images of the World Devestators rising to the fore.

Brow furrowing, Sarge watched as both large and small appeared. "Get me Ayden."

Now that was one order they wouldn't question Sarge on; everyone knew the relationship between Ayden and Sarge, and weren't about to piss off either one by saying 'no'.

"Ayden. Omni wouldn't use these if they weren't controlled by a droid brain of some kind; we can use that to our advantage. I need ideas and I needed them yesterday; I can't commit resources to a lost fight."

Attempting to follow Darron, Kiyala found herself stored upon another gunship as it attempted to break through the orbital fire. The ride truly scared the **** out of the young girl. All the while she felt so foolish as Darron had told her if she kept tagging along unexpected she'd end up in over her head. The ship began to violently shake before she felt a part of the ship give out. Inside the compartment she was in, she could her the sheer winds as loud as if it was just outside. As she stood up with much effort, she touched the wall as a vision took her. Her eyes fluttered for a moment, she sat down in the middle of the compartment. She knew how this would turn out, it wasn't ideal but she'd live to see another day.

The rest of the gunship collided mid altitude with another gunship. It sent them spinning to the ground killing everyone in the cock-pit and injuring some in the back. As she heard them scramble out to fight and survive, she emerged from the compartment and though she'd never admit it; she was scared. Spotting a fallen Sith's saber, she picked it up and igniting it with quick secession. She smiled liking the balance on this saber, she slowly emerged from the vessel but at the wrong time. A small group of seeker droids spotted her, they quickly altered course and pursued her. Kiyala took off running, the droids blasting from behind she felt the force and knew enough to force speed down the walk way.

She knew that force users used lightsabers to repel blaster bolts but knowing that and doing that were two completely different things. She found herself running toward a Sith Knight, a sizzling shot arced toward Kiyala's back. Not knowing what else to do she leaped into the air, twisting as she caught the bolt with the lightsaber. The power against her light frame sent her harshly to the ground. As she struggled to get up the droids were now deadly close to her, she was dead for all she knew. But what about her vision of her marriage, she had to live longer to reach that. She slowly got up wiping blood from her mouth, standing like steel it was a show when she side stepped a Seeker easily slicing through one. As they let out fire, she dove behind a metal covering but it wouldn't last long. She just had to think, but did she even have time to think when it's life or death.

Onyx was fighting. Hard. The battle wasn't slowing down and showed no intention of doing so. He had received orders to help push towards the depths of Coruscant, the depths where the underworld and infamous 1313 lay. He was pushing himself. He was sweating. He was growing weary of the fight. Bur he decided to press on regardless. He knew loosing would result in the death of everyone.

As he finished off a seeker droid, something caught his attention. A young girl running towards him, seeker droids followed and were firing on her. He saw her take one out with a lightsaber. He quickly felt something. A strange urge to help her. With his red lightsaber ignited, he launched himself forward using the force, landing only inches in front of her. He turned and quickly gave her an order, "Stay down, don't move." He said as he turned to face the last three droids, all moving towards him at top speed.

As the first pasted, he threw his saber forward, easily cutting the droid in two. The second began to open fire. Onyx repelled the fire easily back towards it, lighting it ablaze as it steered off path and into a building with a fiery explosion. Onyx smiled. The third seemed to be the smartest. It left. Onyx let it go. It wasn't worth chasing if it led him to more then he could handle alone.

Onyx deactivated his saber and strapped it to his belt. He turned to see the girl still on the ground behind him and got on his knees to speak to her. "My name is Onyx. I am a Sith Knight. Who are you?" Onyx remembered his first time encountering Omni and his forces during his last visit to Coruscant weeks earlier. He rescued a young Jedi padawan. He had a soft spot for children and those who couldn't fight on there own. But something about this one specifically intrigued him. He smiled at her. "It's ok. You can trust me. All I want to do is help you."

Corellia
Darth Fidelis gritted his teeth as he dunked below a large chunk of metal that was flung at his head. The droid army had moved quickly towards Crescent City and large space craft he did not recognize chewed chunks from the planet. There was only one reason the sith was on this Republic world and that was to protect his assets he had set up. The few Zytech security forces that guarded his pharmaceutical branch were holding their own as they tried to fight off the onslaught.
“ Shebs” Arumi said as he rolled low under a droid, coming up both lightsabers blazing he split it in half before twisting to deflect an incoming blaster bolt. He charged at the droid, his speed increased by the force as he reached the droid he made an X slash with both of his sabers quartering the droid in the process.

“ Commander Zy, reports are coming in large force of droids”

“ Under Stood, Captain Teyes hold the facility. Any civilians make it arm them and put them to use” he said as he rolled under another barrage of blaster fire. He reached his hand towards the droid and made a clenched fist, The droid crumbled into a pile of sparking scrap metal. He disengaged his sabers and rushed towards a two story building that had been hit by artillery strikes. He carefully picked his way through the crumpled shell and to the second floor. He pulled out a set of binos and focused in on another area. A full regiment of droids was moving through the sector, executing civilians as they moved. They were of no real concerns to him, but if they managed to get to the ZyTech Pharma building he might loose all of his research data.
“ This is an open broad cast to all friendly forces and assets, be you sith, Mando’ade, or jedi. Anyone alive out there?”

From orbit, Thraishe could see the battle from under him. He flew down for a closer look.

"Hot damn!" He exclaimed as he fumbled with his communicator.

"Hello? Is any one down there? Do you need assistance? I can see from orbit and that doesn't look too good!" Thraishe spoke loudly into his radio.

He looked across Coruscant and began flying towards the planets surface as he readied his lightsaber pike and blaster pistol. He set the ship on auto pilot and got dressed into his armor-minus the cape. He wasn't much in the way of helping people but this looked pretty serious...

"This is gonna be a long day," Thraishe said to himself quietly.

Kiyala stayed under cover while the Sith Knight made quick work of the Seeker droids that were pursuing her. She clutched her lightsaber while no longer activated closed to her without even realizing it. She looked up at him as he introduced himself to be Onyx and inquired who she was. " I'm Kiyala, I'm from Alderaan." Was all she said in her current state. She slowly rose up not allowing herself to play the victim, she had put herself in this situation and luckily the force had brought her to a seemingly adept Knight. Kiyala smiled when he said that she could trust him, it was slightly funny to her because it was not like she really had a choice under these circumstances. She visibly showed a sense of confidence as she gripped her lightsaber igniting it easily.

"So what's the plan Mr. Onyx" She said looking up to him with her hazel curious eyes. The explosions nearby caused constant vibration and Kiyala was personally ready to do what she needed so she wouldn't have to deal with this anymore. Preferably, that was finding something fast enough to get her out of her however now that definitely seemed impossible as she looked into the skies. She whispered words of a lost song, and the breeze picked up around them a sudden greenish glow around her form which was essentially her spell of shielding. She had to realize that though she didn't have much that she had to use what she had to survive today. Her eyes grew grey and before they could even return to their natural hue, she grabbed Onyx and pulled him out of the way as they flew out of the way that section was blasted away mere seconds later. Pulling herself off the ground, she stretched slightly before looking around waiting to see what needed to be done.

Onyx was surprised at her. The strange feeling he got from her was proven correct when she showed her strong connection with the force.

Onyx regained his balance. He looked around and tried to asses the situation, which was constantly changing as the fight continued. He looked down into her eyes. He suddenly felt a weakness. He wanted to help her. "I am going to get you off this planet." He turned and looked around. He could see a large tower in the distance, around two miles away. He sighed. The fighting would be intense.

He tried to think. He had an idea. "If we go through the buildings we can reach that tower over there," he told Kiyala as he pointed in the distance. "Once we are there I can call someone that will get you to a safe place." Onyx got back down on his knees and to her side. "Listen. It is going to be ok. I won't let anything hurt you." Onyx stood back up and extended his hand for her to grab and hold. "If you get scared, squeeze so you don't have to attract attention. I won't let go, I promise." Onyx had his lightsaber in his other hand in case anything bad showed up along the way. He only waited for her now.

The fighting was getting worse. It was begging to look like a lost cause almost. Comm was scrambled all over the planet. Onyx was towing a little girl with him. He sighed. It was going to be a long war.

But Darron's message fell on deaf ears. Specifically, the deaf ears of a Sith commando leader, the ranking officer onboard the transport.

"The Empress's apologies, Grandmaster, but she's needed on Mon Calamari. All goes well, she'll see you on Roche."

Last-second betrayals, after all, were simply the cost of doing business in a galaxy on fire.

MON CALAMARI

@[member="Spencer Jacobs"]

A steady two-way stream of transports connected the Mon Calamari capital with the sky. Evacuation transports skimmed past landing craft, which deployed all manner of subterranean fighting vessels and troops in and around New Coral City. Underwater combat was the provenance of the Quarren, the Mon Cala and the Amphi-Hydrus, and the Sith Empire's military had learned certain lessons well.

Of course, the greatest of those lessons was 'Don't attempt to specialize in underwater combat.' The Sith Empire's forces, as opposed to the assimilated local forces, took a decidedly supporting role. Sith Empire vessels comprised the bulk of the evac transports -- 'hearts and minds' having been the watchword for occupying forces since the dawn of time -- and of course the SE supplied the combatants with munitions, air support and Force-users.

But when it came down to actual troop composition, only about half the organic combatants were native to this planet. It didn't matter, after all, that the Sith Empire had the largest military machine in the known universe; its projected power capacity was, here and now, rather low.

To the point where a single person, a very specific person, could tip the scales.

A sleek TIE variant touched down on New Coral City, in the middle of the evacuation. Darth Desmius, Empress of the Sith, exited and strode unerringly through the city, searching for her Darth Vader.
