OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

  • Intent: To create Kyrim’s weapons of choice

  • Canon Link: N/A

  • Primary Source: Biotoxin , Lamination
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

  • Classification: Daggers — (For a Draelvasier these count as daggers, but in truth they are similar in size to short-swords for a human, so so they are weighted and measured as such)

  • Size: Large

  • Weight: Heavy
SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Kodashi Viper Venom Infused Malabast

  • Brylark Hilt

  • Ostrine Edge enables the weapon to absorb heat, and deal extreme cold damage which, in most cases, causes powerful frostbite, the wound to freeze, and in some cases completely freeze people if given enough time.
  • Barricas Oil to create lightsaber resistance
Strengths:

  • Kodashi Viper Venom infused Malabast, enables any part of the blade to deliver the poison, but the blade’s edge administers the most. Kodashi Viper Venom has no cure and can cause extreme agony which is a sure sign of the poison having touched the heart, which then (except in rare cases) leads to death.

  • Extreme Cold can help overload stimuli to the point of
Causing frostbite, wounds to be frozen, or even completely freeze people given enough time.
  • Lightsaber Resistant

Weaknesses:

  • Indiscriminate: will hurt allies and enemies alike.

  • Its a knife, so its range is limited.

  • Must be in a sheath when around Baedurin, otherwise they may get hurt or even die from the cold.

[[All DAMAGE is up to the opponent, but the damage/strengths listed are what normally happens]]

DESCRIPTION
Creating an Ostrine Edge on a weapon made from Malabast is considered the most unethical thing to do, but it gets the job done. The only way to do so is through a process called Lamination. Through Lamination, the two materials were piled and blended around each other and very partially into each other. Because of this, the blades can completely freeze the region struck, but the pain is still there. The Malabast itself was forged with an imbuement of Kodashi Viper Venom, which is a poison with no cure; it is very potent and very painful. This imbuement causes the venom to be spread upon physical contact with any part of the blade except for the hilt, with the edge being capable of spreading the venom more (mainly by accelerating the speed by which it gets into the bloodstream). The Blade is made of the Kodashi Viper Venom infused Malabast which was treated to gain an Ostrine edge. Its hilt is made from Brylark wood, which is very durable in its own right. Coated in Barricas Oil to deal with those pesky lightsaber users. Made to be an assassin's tools, The Laevateinn Blades are the signature blades of the Zealot Kyrim Tenebris. Designed to maximize the efficiency of stabbing and slashing movements, their creation is a testament to Kyrim's power.

Nice looking sub. And wicked looking just from the aesthetic you have chosen. Now to the nitty gritty.

Can you please go into more depth as to how this paralysis effect is produced from Ostrine?

Ostrine, or its Edge, are super cooled metals. Causing frost bite, wounds to be frozen or even completely freeze people given enough time. What is this Paralysis that you speak of?

Secondary, and Ostrine Edge is a edge created through using a specific metal. Not performed by a tempering process that you have mentioned within the submission. I recommend changing this to be consistent with Canon sources.

Blade edge treated to become an Ostrine Edge

I think I was getting a bit ahead of myself with the paralysis, I was just trying to use it instead of saying that the ostrine edge freezes/numbs the opponent.

So instead of treating the edge to make it an Ostrine edge, Im going to laminate the two materials together : Ostrine and the Kodashi Viper Venom Infused Malabast together.

Also, EDITED.
