Demographics: The island is totally deserted, the only living organic beings in the island are the Giant Ants, fauna and the distinct animals and creatures in the island.
Points of Interest: The island has three major points of interests.
South-shore Beach: A paradise on Atrisia with an amazing sunset and a great Place for exotic fishermen to get rare and expensive catches, however due to the Inhabitants of the island fishermen consider this the galaxies deadliest catch spot. So far south-shore beach in the island has claimed more deaths than any other location.
The Junko: A natural rain forest the Junko is another paradise spot in the island with hidden waterfalls and a legendary oasis rumored to grant immortal youth. This Oasis is called the Yakrare and no tales of explorers have brought back news of it in three hundred years or so. The Junko is also home to one of the islands biggest giant ant hives making this paradise location very hard to reach.
Yakare: The oasis inside the Junko is a hot springs, the restorative and miracle qualities of the springs have been largely exaggerated and mostly embellished with the tales of fishermen and would-be explorers. The Yakare is a miracle, but one of nature being one of the most beautiful location in the planet and it's waters being fresh and pure.
Red Hill: Red Hill is a location that is observable from orbit due to it's easy to spot blood red tint. Home to the biggest giant ant colony in the island Red Hill is the primordial location for scientists who wish to study the new species.
Description: The Island of the Giant Ants is an off beat location in Atrisia of no worthy note until very recently since Mythos became emperor. The island has become a folklore and garnered much attention from tourists and scientists from all over the galaxy due to it housing a new undiscovered species: the giant ants. Already claiming a few dozen lives the Emperor of Atrisia declared the island off-limits for anyone not sporting a royal permit signed by his majesty personally.
Beautiful and breathtaking the Island offers spectacular sights and still lays mostly undiscovered yet much of what is in the island can not be fully explored due to the hostility of it's non-sentient inhabitants. The territorial and aggressive nature of the giant ants has made it impossible for regular explorers not armed to the teeth to be almost guaranteed a one way trip to the afterlife upon their visits.
fishermen have known the location of this island for many decades yet because of the exotic nature of the catch they haul they have kept it a well guarded secret known only to the elite fishermen of Atrisia and their clans.
History: The history of the legendary island has been shrouded in legend and tale not in truth and fact.
The Legend said: A long time ago, a young Atrisian prince decided to wage war against a neighboring planet using the soldiers of atrisia as a horde of warriors. His conquest was largely successful for a long time and Atrisia claimed notoriety and fame because of the young Princes' brutality and his treatment of his soldiers.
One day a sage general of his armies came forth to the young prince to advise him and tell him that his soldiers were not like ants and needed to be treated equally and with respect to their lives , not throwing them away in a vain attempt at glory and conquest.
The prince took the advise of his general as an act of treason and had him executed but before the execution took place the general revealed himself to be a powerful being that had lived for countless millennials and the Prince was stunned at his amazing power.
A celestial in true form, the "sage" used his unlimited power and banished the prince to an island far beyond the mist of Jar'Kai with his entire army and cursed them to be just as they had Acted: like ants.
This legend was old and nothing more than a folk tale dismissed by the ages.... now it is known that the Island exists and that tale might hold some fact hidden within it's words.
Intent: To Create a new Location in the Planet and add to the lore and fauna of Atrisia.
