The hounds of Korriban or rather it's pups. (OS and it's allies Only)

T'zanith sighed and stepped down, hearing the friend remark and raised an eyebrow. As far as T'zanith was concerned he had never had a friend, he'd had acquaintances but not a friend. To him friendship was a confusing subject at best, a confounding paradox at it's worst. With a subtle sigh he used his fingers as a comb to comb back his white hair and adjust himself a little, though a strand was still in front of his face. "It seems so, guess we just have to get there on our own then. Force I hope this won't end like my training sessions with Master Sebastian." He then said as he poured the force into the datapad so he could read it properly.

"Ok so when we get out of the academy we want to go to lower wilds around the tomb of Marka Rangos." T'zanith said before he sighed over the distance they'd have to take. "Don't suppose you can pilot a speeder?" He then asked his face was a little tired in appearance, he was hiding how training [member="Animus Malgus"] in force sight and his own force echo had drained him a little.

Animus smiled at the mention of the speeder "Like a prairie" A Nabooian saying meaning Yes i can and very well might i add. Notiing the brimming sun, he could not think but to ask, "I don't suppose you know at what time it best to hunt these things "
He glanced over the past lands in the perch of the Archives surveying the lands before the name truly caught up with him Marla Ragnos? But why? Why not Ajunta pall? Why not search for the supposed tomb of Lord vader?, So many others, still there must be a reason he did not doubt the intents.
Animus grew impatient and grabbed a stray human in a robe by the neck.
"You there, do you know of the tomb of Marla Ragnos?
Choking and gasping for air the woman managed to blurt out "Y-Yess!"
Animus left her go ignoring the crowd of stares . letting her catch her breath as she slumped to the ground
"You will take us there and in exchange i will grant you your life." Animus paused for his words to sink in.

"Sound like a fair trade?" Animus said in mockery

"Either way i am dead, the places is infected with beasts and horrors..." the woman shook in visible terror.

He kneeled to the grounded woman locking his golden eyes into her face, " Whatever monster out there lurks in the shadows... pales in comparison to the indescribable terror, that i am..." Arrogance and Violent intent seethed from his voice.
He rose and eyed his Acolyte friend before saying... "Problem solved Zeb" slshooting him a y wink, "Shall we?" gesturing to the outside while shoving the woman in front of him. b@T'zanith Zebron

T'zanith raised his hand slowly, raising [member="Animus Malgus"] up on his neck in the process. "Animus my name is T'zanith not Zeb, please remember it as I will refer to you by name and I find nicknames tedious." He said in a deathly calm voice, which seemed to frighten the woman Animus had threatened even more and she hurried to do their bidding, not to mention the other acolytes around them who ran for the hills, before being caught by either of them. T'zanith only held Animus up in the air long enough for him to speak before he let him down again, he wasn't one to mete out punishment or pain for slights like this but there was something about Zeb that just hit his nerves like nothing before.
'What's wrong with me?' He thought as he followed behind the woman as she led them to a large speeder, bowing and wallowing before the two of them. The woman herself didn't have that high a force signature either, barely a force sensitive to T'zaniths eyes but she could use the force given she was an acolyte. Entering the Speeder and sitting down on it, a slight sigh came from between T'zanith's lips belaying how tired he really was. "Last time I read about Tuk'ata they mostly hunt during the day I think, but they stay in the tombs most of the time or just outside them so I say we stop at a good vantage point to observe them first to be sure a pack has what I'm here for." He then said as he leaned into the seat, it was so comfortable and he felt his weariness melt into the seat.

Animus stared blankly at his Acolyte partner and nodded. rasping his neck He would not be making that mistake again, shaking the thought off the sped down the the speeder. His favorite kind, four seater, convertible canopy busted up and albeit has seen better days but for what it was it was all right.
"So where are we going missy?" Animus driving up ahead full thrusters through dunes and sand, roads of old paved the way onwards through mountainous red regions as far as the eye could see.
Hearing T'zaniths plan he spurred into motion.
The Woman visibly scared pointed towards a certain direction and Animus Sped full throttle on it. The wind blowing in his hair, the sense of excitement abount
Ahh, what was left of old Korriban, what a shell of the Majesty i used to be he thought before averting his eyes from the road he spotted what seemed to be a large obelisk with a staircase leading up to it. Animus Saw things moving inside of the kryps however, he wanted to heed the command of T'zanith and observe first so he handed high grade binoculars with dark sensors to see inside of the crypt and its surroundings from a safe distance to T'zanith and gesturing in the direction before pulling out his Macromolecular sight. @T'zanith Zebron
See anything? Animus said as he toggled the distance and calibration of the monocular.

T'zanith held the Binoculars in his hand and looked from it to [member="Animus Malgus"] with a raised eyebrow. 'I'm physicly blind and these work for physical sight.' He thought before he tried to use them at least. It didn't work for him so he placed the binoculars back and instead focused his sight in a small tunnel towards the crypt. He could see the hounds there but barely as he then looked around the area better.
Noticing a cliff face near the Obelisk he pointed towards it. "We can land there to get a better look." He said as he pointed at a large ledge that formed in the cliff face which would serve as a good place to make into their base camp for the expedition.

Animus saw through the Monocular exactly what T'zanith wanted to find and smiled while nodding.
Punching the Speeder in the direction of the cliff he speed off. He loved the thrill of the hunt and adventure, yet he had noticed something strange with his friend something he did not need to be force sensitive to notice.
"T'zanith" Animus said, careful to pronounce his name with respect "Are you ok? you seem...err, sleepy" Animus said with palpable concern.
Animus Parked the speeder in the cliff before the Woman in the speeder jumped out screaming in one direction. Animus Chuckled... "There goes our guide"
Animus did not ever go anywhere without his ELG-3A blaster pistol. It was old model, outdated would be a graceful word for it considering that it had not seen military official service for over 100 years. However to graduates of the Dogfighting school of Naboo, this blaster was presented as a medal or award of sort, ceremonial, but deadly in the right hands.
Animus stood on the seat and grill of the Speeder angling his arm with the blaster against the woman who was now 120 yards away and speeding.
Breathe in.... exhale... squeeze. the sound of the blaster was beautiful, the sound of the woman's last cry of death even more delightful.
A 120 yard shot with the blaster... His instructors would kark their pants.
Animus Smiled at T'zanith once he had succeeded in his shot and shot him a sly wink.
With a low grumbling tone he got closer to the edge of the cliff. "Nothing can defeat us T'zanith" he boomed as much to himself as to his Partner. Crossing his arms and letting a grim visage cover his face he whispered "nothing"...
He truly believed that... with T'zanith by his side, he thought the Galaxy itself had reason to fret.

The question was answered with a half tired tone. "It seems teaching you force sight took a bit out of me, let me rest for a few and I'll be good to go." T'zanith whistled a little as [member="Animus Malgus"] shot the woman from such a distance, it was impressive given how unreliable T'zanith viewed blaster weaponry. Animus's unreasonable optimism never ceased to amaze T'zanith but he took a meditative stance and began to recover his stamina and force stamina to make himself ready for what was to come. "While I meditate and rest could you perhaps go over how many adults and juveniles you can see as well as if you can see any new born pups or pregnant female Tuk'ata?" He asked his partner in this endeavor to do if he wanted to do this while T'zanith had to recharge his batteries as it was..

Animus Smiled and nodded, "Will do T'zanith. Just kick back and relax, i'll see how many of these are around." Animus leaned over the edge of the cliff and lied down, he wanted to get a closer vantage point to the Tuk'ata but he did not want to stray too far from T'zanith, if he was not at his full power Animus half feared for his life as much as anyone stupid enough to try and attack him.
Animus Kneeled over a stone and put his Monocular in his right eye.
The Monocular was Mandalorian, made for scouting missions, a real piece of Technology he had Nabbed a while back in a slave action pickpocketing it out of a drunk patron who probably had no idea how to use it.
Animus did know how to use it, it could engage thermal sight, Reflector night vision, zoom in up to 500 yards and had a droid locator that indicated and x-rayed the components of the droid.
Zooming in he saw the Steppes clearly and the Obelisk, then he saw what they came here for. "Jackpot T'zanith, we got lives ones" Animus said while tweaking the Monocular to get a better picture and debuff the Image he saw. In the steppes of the Obelisk at the very top there was a Large Tuk'ata, "Must be the Alpha male" Animus mumbled as he scanned the surrounding seeing pups prancing around as other Adult Tuk'atas watched from the Obelisk steppes. "The place is infested with them, i can see pups but for every one of them there are at least three Adults." Then something caught his eye, from inside the Door at top of the Obelisk something moved...
Animus tweaked the Monocle to allow him to see inside dark places, a version of Night vision that used Depth to distuguish object as he saw a bigger Tuk'ata than the Alpha male. Animus Whistled in amusement as he saw the Tuk'ata's belly swelled and plump. Before he could tell T'zanith the beast went inside the Obelisk damp Dark interior. Animus was sure if there were some Tuk'ata outside, the motherload must be inside.
"There is a pregnant Female, guarded by the Alpha male..." Animus stopped shaking his head "She went inside the Obelisk, i can't see her anyone"
Animus walked back to the Speeder where T'zanith was resting and laid back on the speeders front bumper his fist on his chin in a universal symbol of thought.
Animus would not Plan a course of Action, instead, he would follow T'zanith's lead. In his usual arrogant manner animus said "So, after we are done if we kill an Adult, can we eat it? Im starving" Always one to crack a joke and lighten the mood but he was serious, Tuka'ta meat was said to be really good. Rare... but juicy, if one could get past the bones. Animus laughed in overconfidence and pride. Then looked back into the direction of the Tuk'ata in a sense of bloodlust, if these things were as strong as T'zanith said, then Killing a few of them and making a new cloak from their hides that he would hang upon his ship as a Trophy would be an add.. to the collection of this Relics.

@T'zanith Zebron

T'zanith chuckled a little hearing the joke but the previous statements had made him focus his sight towards the area of the Tuk'ata while he rested in meditation. Catching a glimpse of the female Animus had spoken about he smiled a little to himself, she was so full that she must be just about ready to give birth which meant that he would quite easily be able to get pups just as long as they actually made it too her, if she had just given birth she'd be weak enough to easily kill but that just left the other Tuk'ata as the problem.
"A roast Tuk'ata wouldn't be a bad way to celebrate getting the pups." He said as he felt his strength returning. All the while his mind was churning on a plan of attack, glimbing the obelisk would be the hardest way to get there and the other pups around were already old enough to realize they weren't members of the pack which left the newborn ones as the only option. Then there was the mystery of what lay inside the obelisk and how strong the alpha male was, given his size he was sure to be a real challenge.

[member="Animus Malgus"]

sensing T'zanith was recovering Animus rose and gazed upon the Obelisk in a thought.
"I don't think anyone had been inside that place in a long long time..." Animus mumbled to himself. He knew this place was swarmed by tourists and adventurers of all sorts, but this particular tomb, infested with Tuk'atas was a mighty deterrent to any visitors. This made animus Crack a sly grin in the direction the the Obelisk.... there must be artefacts in this place that no one has touched in Centuries, Animus thought.
Raising his chin and holstering his Pistol he looked back at T'zanith and said "So, what's the plan?" Animus said as he eyes the sky above them, they easily had a lot of time before sunset, but... Sundown in Korriban was not something we wanted to stick around to see...
Animus considered a frontal assault, drawing out the Tuk'atas to the outside of the Obelisk. Louring them to an Open field where he and T'zanith back to back would slice and dice them, but he did not voice it. Instead, he allowed T'zanith to come up with the plan, his knowledge of the creatures gave him the logical authority over the mission at hand. @T'zanith Zebron

T'zanith thought for a few more minutes as he recovered fully and stood up. "Well given how strong, fast and intelligent these beasts are I doubt a frontal assault would work. It is logical to assume that given that they are a pack they are good at pack tactics." He said as he looked over the Obelisk and the Tuk'ata inhabiting it. "We could try coming in from above but then we could be hit in a pincer by those inside the obelisk." He said as he then placed his hand around his chin, it was a real brain teaser to be sure. He thought that perhaps he could ask his ship to arrive and draw the Tuk'ata out but that could also backfire and cause them to go deeper into the obelisk's interior. "I don't suppose you have an Idea Animus?" He then asked as he stroked the side of his head as he adjusted his hair a little, a draw back to having a very long hair.

[member="Animus Malgus"]

"If they hunt in packs... Let's give them a Hunt." Animus smiled evilly. "We get on the speeder, and use it to lure them to run after it, with the speed of it we will no doubt be untouchable in the open fields. Pick them off one by one until the outside is clear, then move in to confront the alpha. " Animus reached into his backpack to procure 4 Orbs. "Use these wisely. I suggest saving a few for when he get inside the Obelisk." Stun Grenades, Animus had procured them before leaving Glee Anselm.
Animus Pondered something for a few seconds and hopped on the speeder. He drove all the way to the corpse of the woman he had shot and brought the corpse back.

Carrying the corpse over his shoulder he laid it on the hood of the speeder and opened the chest with his lightsaber. Methodically he opened a satchel containing a large pack of Tarascii explosives and stuffed it inside her chest cavity. With one hand he reached in his pocket to pull out a remote detonator and handed it to @T'zanith Zebron
"We lay the corpse out on a first run and bolt." Animus began explaining with a sly grin "Then once they start eating at it, we detonate the crap out of them and charge in with the speeder you slicing at any that get close"

T'zanith Smiled a little as [member="Animus Malgus"] spoke about his plan, it was a good plan to be sure. Of course when fighting beasts one could't really predict their actions like one could with sentient. T'zanith took out his crossguard saber and held it up, not igniting it just yet. "What weapons do you have Animus?" He then said as he ignited his saber and watched the guard form before the blade jumped out of the guard itself, the black core was surrounded by a red glow, a color he was fond of and the reason he had made his saber like this was particularly for it's longer than average hilt length which would hold an extra crystal within the hilt, his saber once fully complete would be his pride and possibly a new source of strength.
As T'zanith enjoyed the oddly soothing hum of his Lightsaber he then turned it off and then placed it on his belt again as he moved to sit down on the ship, he was ready to initiate the plan Animus had suggested at least until he could formulate one for the inside of the obelisk at least.

Animus nodded as he threw the corpse facing up in the passenger seat, he looked at T'zanith and pulled out his Blue lightsaber igniting it with a smile. He had bought this lightsaber at a slave auction, the saber was a little short for Animus, but not too much. Animus gave his friend a Sly smile and said grimly "They will be lucky if they get close..." then jumped on the speeder driver's seat and pushed left to come in for the run.
At the end of the cliff he stared down the Obelisk who was now a only half a football field away (i use that measuring a lot).
Animus could notice that some of the beasts were alerted to their presence, but the Alpha male on the top of the Obelisk just raised it's head in a sentinel like standing position, not moving. Some of the Tuk'atas started to close distance on them.
Animus punched the speeder with one hand driving and with the other he levitated the corpse with telekinesis. While driving fast in front of the tuk'atas but far enough away that their run towards them would not catch, Animus flung the corpse in their direction and it dropped in front of them with a large *THUD*.

Within seconds, 3 Adult Tuka'tas pounced on the corpse ripping and tearing at it as Animus sped away from them. They seemed not to chase after Animus' speeder and if they did they would never catch him, instead they hounded on the corpse just as Animus had planned.
Animus Drifted the speeder, Banking on the emergency brake to turn into a 190 degree turn enjoying the G force of the turn he then punched full throttle while nodding at @T'zanith Zebron to Detonate the Explosives within the corpse the Beasts were feasting on. Animus Ignited his lightsaber with his left hand while his right hand drove the speeder. "This is going to be fun, Blow them to hell!" Animus said laughing Maniacally as he sped towards them full throttle, bloodlust in his eyes and viciousness in his mind.

([member="Darth Ravik"] read through the other posts and you will catch up quite quickly we aren't that far a head of you and I don't see any reason not for your character to have followed ours.)

T'zanith saw the Tuk'ata follow them and then converge on the corpse. In the turn that [member="Animus Malgus"] took he almost lost the detonator due to the sudden shift in the G-force but he managed to hold onto it and then detonated the bomb. Bit's of flesh and bone erupted from the blast as most of the Tuk'ata were blown to bit's and some of the others died from the shrapnel from the blast.
Those that survived ran away in every direction, some headed back to the obelisk while others seemed to be heading towards the back of it, Either way it was a clear path to the obelisk now and what T'zanith saw as their main opposition would be the alpha male. "Take it easy and let's be careful with the next one, I doubt he'll make it easy on us to get inside."

Animus laughed Psychopathically as he punched the speeder full throttle towards the Obelisk steppes. Suddenly behind a sand dune that Animus had not noticed a Giant Tuka'ta Jumped and latched on the hood of the car as he sped through the Pieces of skin and corpses of the Tuka'tas they had made explode.
The Tukata who was now on the hood of the speeder massive as he was made the speeder wobble out of control and Animus turned off his saber and forced both his hands into the wheel to keep the speeder from flipping and crashing.

"It seems we have a stowaway T'zanith!!" Animus yelled in laugher as he struggled to keep the speeder balanced. Animus grunted still with his Psychopathic smile in his face as he gained slight control of the Speeder but the Tuka'ta was gaining a firmer hold and was ready to pounce.
Animus moved the speeder from side to side trying to shake the beast off, suddenly Another Tukata latched on to the back of the speeder, making it even harder to control.
A cliff was 30 yards away and Animus knew what he had to do.
Animus yelled, "we're ditching them!"
Animus pulled full Throttle towards the Cliff Banking hard to the right.
"Jump off On my mark!!!" The Speeder Dove straight for the cliff, it was at least 100 feet high ramping into it a large sand dune, The Tuka'ta in the hood was ready to pounce upon Animus but before he did Animus rose from his seat leaving the throttle on full.

"Now!!!" he Yelled as he jumped off the Speeder the Tuka'ta Slamming into the driver's seat destroying it, the speeder and the Tuka'tas were sent tumbling down the cliff.

as he leaves the sith archives reading though every lightsaber form not learning nothing he hadn't already known from his training has he takes a left down a long hall a right then into the main area of the academy many people walking around like always as he walks though the mods and out the academy passing to fellow sith along the way he remembered 2 acolytes talking about how thy need someone to show them the environment and the land around korriban a course it wasn't like Tristan to help to random sith who he didn't know and didn't have a thing to gain from it but he was bored and he guess he could give the guys a break as he didn't remember where they where headed he could pick up on there force patterns a little unknown trick he picked up from his mother has he walks down the long stairs he starts on the path to the 2

T'zanith threw the Tuk'ata that landed on the back of the speeder before he heard what [member="Animus Malgus"] was planning. "WE WHAT?!" He yelled before he jumped on the mark that the acolyte told them. He landed on the sand, rolling and getting up before landing against a stone pocking out of the sand. "Ok Animus WHAT possessed you to do that?!" He yelled out before he heard an angry growl and the Tuk'ata that he threw off the speeder came charging towards him.
"Oh yeah like nothing else could be going wrong now, You have to strut your stuff?" He mocked the Tuk'ata as it charged at him as he rolled out of the way and let it land on the stone, braking a few of it's teeth against it before he sliced at it with is saber and turend the saber off in the same motion, clipping it effortlessly on his belt after wards. "Animus Were the Freth are you?" He said as he looked around for his fellow acolyte, if they'd survive this he'd tear him a new one.
Man he was sore after the jump and they had just started too.
