The Holocron

The post had been deleted, so Mephirium was pissed.

There was a holocron hidden in a cave on the world of Tatooine. Mephirium wanted it, so he sent two of his favored apprentices to retrieve it. A map to the cave was added to their datapads.

Whatever happened would now fall to them. Screw this auto-save BS.

She stood in a shaded corner of a desolated, dead-ended street far away enough from the turmoil of Tatooine's market place for it to be tolerable. Her sensitive ears had come in handy more than once but processing the excessive, pointless, headache-bearing noise of the place was simply a complication she luckily had the choice of avoiding, at least for the time being. The hybrid had arrived a little bit earlier than she had been expected to arrive. Not wasting her time on any other purpose, she had directed herself to the meeting point and awaited the arrival of her fellow apprentice, [member="Darth Malakai"].

Besides the noise polluted atmosphere, Enma couldn't have cared less about where her Master had sent her, as long as she was able to retrieve the holocron for him. The hybrid was certainly a curious creature. She found her ambitions fulfilled in fulfilling the ambitions of others. But how true could that be? How really devoid of self-interest could an individual become? To her, the answer was very. During the passing of the last weeks, she had devoted every waking second to studying and learning, to shaping herself first into the best Sith apprentice she could become. To then start molding herself into something higher, some thing more like her Master.

Just a few weeks was what it took to for her to develop a deep admiration for [member="Darth Mephirium"] and the way his mind worked. She had made his ambitions her own, his visions for the future a goal for her. She had finally found someone worthy for her to become what she liked being the most: a follower. And right now, in the scorching heat of Tatooine, nothing else mattered to her but finding that precious holocron.

There was a certain uneasiness that Malakai experienced whenever he visited Tatooine, one he's had ever since he was a boy. There was something about Dessert worlds that tended to offset the Sith, almost to the point of distraction. His boots came into contact with the course sand, the distinctive crunching beneath him an all too familiar sound.

The Apprentice ran his hand over his waist, checking for the presence of his lightsaber, as he made his way towards the edge of the spaceport. A part of Malakai began to wonder what his partner for this mission was like, how she would act, and even if she was to be trusted.

Malakai saw himself as the Emperor's one true apprentice, in many ways the ideology had pampered and weakened himself. His Master had been sure to reinforce his teachings, to never underestimate those around you, whether it be their worth or danger. As he strode through the market he could judge the caliber of dissidents that called this ball of sand and sorrow their home. Most seemed the kind to mind their business, simply trying to survive in this armpit of the galaxy. Others, however, wished to bend this part of the galaxy to their own vacuous laws. Slaves, slave masters, Hutts, and all manner of class in between, Tatooine truly was a depressing sight to behold.

He retracted his attention from things that were of no relevance when his eyes befell the woman he was to meet here. [member="Enma Jayss"] stood near the outskirts of the spaceport, her image the same as the first time the two had met. He walked over to her, his hood draping over his dark locks, speaking in a plain tone. "I see you found the location easy enough." He allowed a slight bow of the head before crossing his arms underneath the dark cloak that he adorned over his armor.

Before she could reply he gestured to a nearby rock, figuring that a bit of shade could go a long way in this scorching dessert. "Our target was last reported on this planet, in a system of caves no less. I am sure I don't have to tell you how difficult this will be?" The woman's ability to see through the Force may very well prove to be a great asset this day, if the two could find a trail to follow to their objective.

The Hybrid saw the world for the mass of Force connections that it was. To her, every living being was distinct from each other not only because of their presence in the Force, but because of their affiliation. Darth Malakai, for example, was to her a red glow in the world of Force signatures. Her Master, was the deepest of reds she had ever seen. It was funny to think that the blind woman was the one able to distinguish even the slightest of shade changes. And her eyes alerted her of the approaching of another force user far before he actually came into view. Another perk of her dead eyes, was that they either saw nothing or saw everything. She remembered there was a time she had seen with her hands. The time in which her sight had finally withered away but she was not still able to pull on the Force to replace it. She was just a kid. Now, her hands could barely feel and so she gave up the prospect of knowing how others faces look.

She did not speak when Malakai approached. The young man was taller than herself, she could perceive exactly where his body reached its height as soon as he started approaching her, slim and with a seriousness about him. When he reached her he slightly bowed her head to her in greeting. Her slightly glowing eyes narrowed a little at this. And she extended her arm to him. By he way it was presented, the Hybrid was not intending to shake his hand but rather simply grab his forearm. This had been the way she had greeted her siblings back in the day. This was the way she demonstrated she recognized him as her equal, and that she respected that.

She, however, did not speak until he had said his last words. Truth was she was a better listener. Still, she was to answer the other apprentice. Enma was very aware of their task on the desert world. To retrieve a holocron for their Master. The time she had earned by her early arrival she had spent well, and she had detected the old remnants of a dark force imbued trail in the outskirts of the city, leading to the open of the Desert and, and this had been the very limit of her sight, a conglomeration of rock formations where she assumed the cave system was to be found.

Most Sith acolytes would have set off to retrieve the holocron on their own and claim the recognition of their Master for themselves. She, saw the idea of going on her own as an utter disobedience since accompanying and being accompanied by [member="Darth Malakai"] had also been an order from her Master.

"Indeed, I am very well aware." She finally responded, that mysterious yet somewhat alluring voice of her seeming out of place on the rough upheaval of Tatooine. "I have seen traces of what seems to be the old remnants of the dark. The path leads to a series of small mountains where it is stronger and where I assume the caves we are looking for to be. We are a long way from there, a day on foot if we move fast."

I am a son of the Mountain.
The Sith apprentice attempted to pay the woman's strange greeting no mind, it was more than likely a custom from the life before she had now. Instead the Sith looked towards the endless hills and mountain of sand before them, listening to what she had to say about the mission.

Malakai stared into the open dessert with an unsettle expression. He glanced down to the two canteens that had been attached to his hip. To most two canteens of water may seem very minimal for a day in the dessert, but Darth Malakai used every aspect of life and his missions as a means to train. That included calling on the Dark Side to nourish him as he passed through the dessert. "It would be better if we took speeders, but acquiring them would waste more time than we have. Not to mention they can easily be tracked."

The Sith Apprentice took a moment, closing his eyes as he took a deep inhale, drawing on the Force around him. Using the Dark Side as his guide he found the slightest trace of what he assumed was his target. A holocron, the holocron of Darth Krayt, the very same Sith who founded The One Sith. He opened his eyes and glanced to the woman before exhaling softly, a slightly more relaxed expression on his face. "Well, we won't make any progress standing here."

The trek into the sands began, and it was sure to be a long one. As Malakai began the walk into the sands he wondered if he should try to socialize with the woman. His master had ordered he learn to interact with the other apprentices, but at the same time he saw no reason to. Rather than break the silence between the two the Sith simply continued his trek towards the mountains the woman spoke of.

[member="Enma Jayss"]

Her face seemed that of a statue. A neutral, unmoved, perpetual expression that only spoke of a deep calmness and a determination. The Hybrid had definitely been right in her assumptions. This apprentice was the one more alike her brothers. Luckily enough, he reminded her of one of her living brothers the most. Or at least, living he was the last time she saw him. A second could bring death, who was she to suggest what four years might have delivered to their astray family? If they lived, they probably thought the same about her.

Her steps were light and swift, she kept a surprisingly coordinated control on her breathing so as to not waste any ounce of effort unless it was inevitable. Experience taught her that she would surely need it once they arrived to the caves. Luckily for her, her Hapan ascent made her somewhat more resilient to the persistent assault of the sun's light. However, the heat and the scorching gush of winds that stroke every a couple of minutes did not make the endeavor any more comfortable. Now again, she did not care about her comfort. She wouldn't have come if she was as feeble as to worry about so unimportant matters.

[member="Darth Malakai"] had not assessed her in speech, so her ears resolved to enjoying the relaxing silence of the dessert. Most people were unnerved by absolute silence. She felt some kind of deep liking for it. Still, she too wondered whether she should or should not engage her fellow apprentice in conversation. From what she had learnt the past weeks, most Sith were neglective about personal information. She knew not why. What mattered was not what others knew about oneself but rather what they did not. If you never said anything, you would encourage them to keep on looking. She had learnt better than to let her curiosity get the best of her, Enma only did what she considered necessary and only acted out of need or command, sometimes out of prevention.

The scorching sun continued to beat down on the two apprentices, making the joyful stroll through the desert that much more fun. They had been at it for nearly three hours before Malaki brought his hand down to his canteen, taking a healthy drink from it. As the cool water flowed down his throat he immediately began to concentrate on the force. He reached into the nether of the Dark Side and in return it reached out to him, commanding his body to break down food and water slower, making it easier for the Sith to stay nourished during this trek.

He held his water out to the woman, knowing she must have been thirsty as well. "Here, you should drink something." The gesture was a simple one, but it was a way for him to begin to gauge how the woman operated. It never ceased to amaze the Sith, the smallest things can reveal boundless information about a person. He looked around the barren desert for a moment, the bronze hills surrounding them began to mold into the same scenery.

As he returned to his walk he decided the silence was not only getting him nowhere, it was boring the hell out of him. "How did you find yourself at our Master's side? You seem...devoted to him, something about you has a staunch demeanor, makes me wonder of your intentions." Malakai felt the question was a good first step, he did not entirely expect her to answer truthfully, but he also wondered if she had reason to lie.

[member="Enma Jayss"]

Her expressions remained the same. Not her thirst nor her surprise at the man's offer were visible. But even though she was surprised, she did not hesitate in accepting and taking the canteen from his hand, she drank some water. She hadn't looked at him for longer than necessary or even considered questioning his offer. Maybe the other apprentices she would have...specially that little, broken young girl that had rubbed the Hybrid a very wrong way, but for some reason -a reason she called instinct- she did not take these precautions with him. Maybe she would regret it, maybe not. Life was nothing without its little risks.

She returned the canteen and proceeded her walk as soon as he did. And then he spoke. The question was simple, how had she come to know Lord Mephirium. The answer was not as simple. Yet she knew herself fit to answer it, there was no secret to be hidden. "I met our Lord in Ambria, in the dark lake that the world houses. I was first drawn to the lake in itself. It called out to me. Then I saw [member="Darth Mephirium"] in the Force and I walked to him. I didn't think, I didn't consider. I just knew he knew I was there, and so I revealed myself." She explained. "He instructed me to go to the Chimera and left. I was to become his apprentice."

"And as concerns my devotion for him, I was always told that one should find what one was good at. And stick to it. I, [member="Darth Malakai"], am a follower. Adherence and loyalty is what I am good at. I do not have ambitions for myself and I am nothing if I have no ambitions. So, I serve the ambitions of my Master. Whichever they might be."

I am a son of the Mountain.
As the canteen returned to Malakai he quickly weighed the contents, sloshing it about until satisfied with his estimate. There still remained plenty of water for the remainder of the journey. The apprentice had continued to keep his body stagnant in the regards of it's energy consumption, it did not make trekking through the desert much better but he liked to think it took the bite off. While the woman began to speak once again Malakai took special notice of her accent, she would very much need to learn to mask that, it could be distinguished by even a deaf jawa. Her accent was smooth and concentrated, reflecting very much on her own personality.

So it as revealed, the woman's apparent steadfast devotion comes from a sense of destiny. It seemed the two of them had quite a bit in common, at least on the surface. He felt no need to question her loyalty or prod for more information on her opinion of their Master. He believed half of what he saw and less of what he heard, in time if she had ulterior motives they would be brought to the light. Though he would be lying if he said he did not trust her, there was a small part of him that felt her words and actions yet shown were true. Sadly there was no telling what time could hold.

He could not help but smile a bit before looking back to the woman. "I am sure you will serve the Dark Lord well." A great deal of suspicion was set aside for the woman, but in this moment he continued on with the conversation. "The holocron we are after, it's power of corruption is likely to be very alluring, whatever we do we cannot attempt to access it." In Malakai's earlier years as an Apprentice he found himself training with holocrons and their charms, many had spells set on them that could enthrall the user. Some were nothing more than a fountain of knowledge, regardless each one was a mystery until opened.

The two of them found themselves ascending a very large mound of sand, Malakai paused for a moment once they reached the top, he stared over the land searchingly. A look of curiosity was on his face and it was settled after nearly a minute of his searching. "We should have just entered a Tusken hunting ground...I'm surprised there aren't any around...not even tracks." He exhaled for a moment before continuing down their path, glancing back at [member="Enma Jayss"] for a split second. "It's of no matter, let's keep going."

"I believe the same of you, [member="Darth Malakai"]" She responded with some sort of strong determination in her words, as though she was saying something she knew for sure would happen. But she knew not and she was far too intelligent to make the mistake of thinking she did. However, what she did trust was that Mephirium did not keep around those who did not serve him well. And the young man seemed to be his favored one, thus he had more proving to do, he was the one most expected to serve their Master well. Enma herself expected such of him. For that was the obligation of the one who was favored. She did not envy Malakai's place. She had been in a similar situation herself, having both the need and the social pressure of living up to one of her late creator's expectations. Today she was pleased as long as she was useful and valued in a minimal degree.

He then shared his information on these type of holocrons. Enma had expected some difficulty to being near such a concentrated amount of dark Force but she had not expected it to be in the form of temptation. Yet this did not discourage her. She knew temptation and she knew how to withstand it. All she would need was to concentrate a little bit more in the task at hand.

"Wind and sand run together. I would not expect tracks to last long a day like today in a place like this place." She couldn't see the marks of their feet on the sand because of her blindness but she was sure that Malakai wouldn't have been able to see them either, because the sand had already covered them. However, her tracking was much more difficult to deter and the wind would have to blow a hundred times harder if it wanted to erase the type of marks her eyes could see. Force marks. "I will see if any remnants of a fresh presence are found near us and let you know. For the time being, we do as you command. We should reach the caves nearing nightfall."

I am a son of the Mountain.
Malakai considered [member="Enma Jayss"] words before realizing she may be right. Even if the Sand people had hunted their today it would be difficult to tell through tracks in the sand. He looked to the sky and saw that the sun was beginning to get lower in the sky. "We're making good time." They continued, for what felt like and could possibly be hours. Their trek continued uninterrupted for the better part of three hours. Tatooine's sand seemed to grow more rough, the sun more hot, and the winds were as dry as a bone. The Sith removed his hood for a moment, running his hands through his braids, allowing them to separate and let air flow between them.

Once again he drew his canteen, taking a decent sip before passing it to his counterpart. Right after he handed it to her Malakai could see something in the distance, a land mass, mountains of sand and dirt, obviously leading into some form of chasm or scar in the land. He glanced back at the woman before gesturing to them, a slight smile held on his face. "Looks like we're getting close."

Malakai took a step forward before a ripple in the Force halted his step. For but a moment the Sith became cold, embraced by the essence of the Dark Side. It was refreshing, but also distracting, he inhaled deeply before drawing on that energy, focusing on it's source. After a moment he nodded before continuing. "We're very close."

The hybrid walked silently, occupying her mind with quite an extensive battery of thoughts, most of them related to her Master, her fellow apprentice and the task they had been sent on. For what Mephirium had said, the holocron was to be found in a creature's lair. A beast's hideout. The hilts of her lightsabers shimmered when the sun made contact with their metallic borders. It had been a long time since her last fight...yet she knew she still had her abilities, they were unforgettable.

Accepting once more the canteen she took a sip of water, just enough to murder the complaints of her dry throat. Her eyes scanned the land quite attentively, knowing that the closer they got to their objective, the closer they got to their obstacle. Yet she found herself returning the slight smile to [member="Darth Malakai"] when he stated the correct. They would soon make it to the cave system.

She could see the darkness flowing, reigning over the place where they now stood and she closed her eyes, allowing herself to relish in it for just a second before clearing her mind of any other distraction. She had her objectives in mind, determination in her chest and a steady hand, drawing power from all around her and expelling it too like a permeable membrane. She then set her eyes on the form of the chasm and walked by Malakai's side.

"Indeed we are..." she answered, a faint smile on the corners of her lips.

I am a son of the Mountain.
Malakai and [member="Enma Jayss"] made their way through the chasm, happy to be met with a decent amount of shade he knew soon the temperature would rapidly begin to drop. The chasm itself flowed with the Dark side of the force. It was an impressive thought, the remaining essence of one being stretching miles away from the source. He paused when he heard the loud drawn out howl of a Tusken war party.

Immediately the apprentice took his lightsaber into his hand, the long hilt of the dual-bladed weapon felt all too natural in his hands. The Sith looked to Enma before continuing down the path. As they walked Tusken Raiders began to position themselves on the top ridges of the chasm. He glanced up at them as he continued his approach, yet now there was an obvious alertness about him.

"Can you tell how many there are?" There seemed to be a decent number from what Malakai could deduce, but something about the Sand People seemed odd, even for them. They were organized, patient, and above all....they seemed much more deadly. He reached out with the force, each one of the creatures seemed touched with the Dark Side of the force, and angry beyond comparison. "The Holocron must have corrupted them...They are far too weak minded to resist it."

Enma stopped on her tracks as soon as she heard the war call. She slowly rose her hands up, undoing the tie that kept her black cloak together and allowing it to fall to the ground below her as she breathed. Now her palms rested at the hilts of her sabers, her tail ever so slowly twirling in the hot wind behind her like a waiting predator's would do. She was clad in light, dark armor that fit her body perfectly. It was the first time that the whole of her unnatural anatomy, the amalgamation that should not have been, was visible. Once again she opened her eyes, not only letting the Force allow her to see but strengthening it. She saw how the force moved around them, how it bounced and reverberated on every tusken warrior waiting for them. She was as calm as she had been minutes ago, only more focused.

"Eleven...twelve...thirteen...Fourteen of them standing above us. Evenly distributed on each side. And I am guessing around four or five more are waiting on the other side of this shade-blessed chasm." She spoke with a precise and clear voice as she kept her attention on the creatures around them. If they did not rush, they should not either. She had always liked having the chance to observe her opponents before commencing the familiar dance of fight. Unlike what many would have expected, the Hybrid did not find any rejoice in ending others lives. She did it because there were times when it was indispensable, necessary.

"I suggest we each take one side, then dispose together of the remaining at the end of the chasm. Should one of us fall, let the other complete our Master's task, let us at least have made it worth our while on this forgotten piece of galaxy" She awaited for his opinion on the matter, growing increasingly conscious of her surroundings and her opponents every passing second.

As his partner spoke Malakai ran his thumb over the activator pad for his lightsaber. Only one blade of the dual-saber activated, gleaming a brilliant violet as he looked down the row of Tusken Raiders. [member="Enma Jayss"] words caused him to smirk a bit, overtaken by a bit of pride as he spoke. "I have no intention of dying on this dust ball, we will not meet our end by the hand of these- " Malakai was cut off when a blaster round was fired and sprang towards him. In a quick flick of his wrist, Malakai brought the hilt of his lightsaber towards his chest, deflecting the blaster bolt into the sand before it could harm the man. That was the beginning, after the first round several of the Tusken Raiders began to howl and interchanged wild blasts down towards the two.

Malakai took a step from Enma, giving them both room to maneuver as he began to deflect the bolts as they charged towards the two Sith. As he began to deflect the blaster bolts Malakai realized their enemy had chosen a very nice vantage point. Malakai focused on the force as he blocked the ragid stream of blaster bolts. The rifles the sand people used were far from elegant and modern, they had a slow rate of fire and were much less of a threat than anything used by any modern military.

Malakai saw his opening when he saw a blaster bolt heading towards him. He quickly flourished his lightsaber towards the blaster bolt, sending it directly back to the Tusken that fired the shot. He watched as the blaster bolt seared through the creature's clothing and penetrated it's chest, causing it to fall to the ground. Malakai took the moment to channel the Force into his legs, allowing him to leap onto the chasm's lip. Immediately he whipped his lightsaber into a nearby Tusken, running his blade through the creature's chest.

The Tusken Raider's had a decent advantage, but they still had no chance against the Sith. He pulled his lightsaber from the man before returning to a defensive stance, blocking the blaster fire that came towards him. He could not help but wonder what else the Holocron may have corrupted in the area.

She said no more. The Hybrid's saber ignited at quite a remarkable speed, deflecting blaster with a practiced precision. Before concentrating on ending her enemies, she devoid her mind of anything but the thoughts that fueled the Force within her. Soon enough she felt her veins dilating as her body became enhanced by the Force. It was even easier to achieve given the characteristics of the place they were now in. And then she jumped, her feet firmly holding her to the lip of the chasm as she started moving, using one of her sabers for defense, the other for attack.

She had lacerated the first tusken's neck in a movement that was an extension of her first jump. There were six to go. She advanced without losing any time towards the second one, the saber penetrating his chest. She spined as she withdrew it, evading a blaster bolt and deflecting a small rain of them with the dark black light of her sabers. As she approached the third one, she turned off one of her saber and using her tail to swipe the feet of the Tusken warrior of balance, her arm surrounded its neck as she used it as coverage for incoming bolts. Her other hand threw her lightsaber, swiping the chest of another when before pulling on it with the force, making it return to her hand. Only two remained.

Before igniting her lightsaber, she extended her hand and pulled on the creatures rifles, sending them falling on to the chasm and exploding in many pieces. Now, devoid of long-range weaponry, the Tusken warriors charged towards her and she swiped both of her sabers in a criss-crossed sphere, ending them both. Then she straightened her pose and looked at the other side of the chasm, to see if [member="Darth Malakai"] was ready to proceed.

Darth Malakai continued to assault the tuskens, the creature's not able to withstand his onslaught. Two of the beasts attempted to rush the Sith, hoping to catch him off guard. He simply stepped back, moving his violet blade to separate the heads of the sand people. The next of the men tried to train his rifle on Malakai, but was far too slow. The apprentice threw his hand forward, reaching out into the nether of the Force, forcing the rifle to impact the tusken's face. As the man fell to the ground in pain Malakai sprinted past him, embedding his lightsaber into the throat of the tusken behind him.

Another of the men tried to train their rifle onto Malakai, once again his hand shot forward, this time as he reached into the power of the Dark Side the tusken's throat became constricted by an unseen grip. Malakai held his arm up while walking to the tusken that laid on the ground in pain. He quickly planted his lightsaber into the man's chest before closing his hand, causing the last of the warrior's neck to snap.

As the dead body fell to the ground Malakai glanced over to [member="Enma Jayss"]. He deactivated his lightsaber before gesturing down the canyon. "Ready?"

"After you" She said, a slight smirk on her face. This reminded her a lot of her wargames, played alongside her closest siblings. None of them would have felt any sort of pride or resolution in taking each others' lives. So they had obliged their minds to forget, for that one week a year, that they were siblings. They had convinced themselves that it was just a game, at least to keep their sanity while they took place. They were their wargames. And though she never felt joy at disposing of her brothers and sisters, she had grown a dark liking for the game in itself.

Her sabers vibrated with deadly persistence, their black blades almost pleading for more. As she had said, she awaited for Malakai to take the lead. The tusken warriors had indeed grouped themselves in the center of the canyon and were clearly unnerved by the silence that reigned after the onslaught the two siths had left behind their backs. She focused her mind and seethed as she waited, feeling how the even more empowered darkness of the Force flowed through her with much more freedom and intent.

Malakai nodded at [member="Enma Jayss"] words, the Sith leaped back down into the chasm, using the force to cushion his impact. He kept his lightsaber in his hand as he made his way down the chasm. The first line of sand people had been all too easy to dispatch, he imagined the reserve group would be no different.

It was not long until the Sand People came into their sight's, they were indeed unnerved by the silence that had sprung from the earlier noise of combat. He glanced over to Enma before igniting his blade, stalking towards them with a rather confident stride.

In a panic one of them raised his gaffi stick, roaring wildly before charging towards the Sith. The others, however, did not budge as their comrade launched such a wild attack. When the creature was only meters away Malakai whipped his arm out, his lightsaber flying from his hands and into the chest of the charging sand person.

Impassioned cries turned into a quick squeal as he fell to his knees and then the ground. Malakai retrieved his lightsaber before looking to Enma. "Hope you don't mind me having the fun with that one." He turned from her before charging towards the group of Sand people, but rather than attack them he focused on the force and leaped over the group, drawing their attention so his ally could strike them from behind.

The hybrid jumped, softening the impact of her fall with the Force and landing in a crouched pose, her tail still softly twirling behind her. "Not at all" She said, a seriousness to her voice caused by her focus. Slowly she stalked the conglomeration of Tusken warriors, her force-imbued eyes scanning through the creatures that were soon to meet their fates. She understood Malakai's plan as soon as he made the leap after charging. Sending the power of the force to her feet and legs, the woman moved at an amazing speed. With both sabers on the offensive, she ravaged the bodies of the desert dwellers like an enraged hurricane.

She had started to feel the pull on her mind, the darkness of this place trying to consume her. And she had needed to unwind the pent up emotions they were generating. Unlike Malakai, she was still growing accustomed to the presence of such amounts of nether Force and it affected her more quickly. She guided her completely grey eyes towards the man's, even if she could not see him as anything more than a living form filled with the Force. She felt like he would understand her little rampage and its cause but if he hadn't, he could always ask. She nodded once, shortly feeling more at ease with herself now.

"Shall we press on?"
