There was a certain uneasiness that Malakai experienced whenever he visited Tatooine, one he's had ever since he was a boy. There was something about Dessert worlds that tended to offset the Sith, almost to the point of distraction. His boots came into contact with the course sand, the distinctive crunching beneath him an all too familiar sound.
The Apprentice ran his hand over his waist, checking for the presence of his lightsaber, as he made his way towards the edge of the spaceport. A part of Malakai began to wonder what his partner for this mission was like, how she would act, and even if she was to be trusted.
Malakai saw himself as the Emperor's one true apprentice, in many ways the ideology had pampered and weakened himself. His Master had been sure to reinforce his teachings, to never underestimate those around you, whether it be their worth or danger. As he strode through the market he could judge the caliber of dissidents that called this ball of sand and sorrow their home. Most seemed the kind to mind their business, simply trying to survive in this armpit of the galaxy. Others, however, wished to bend this part of the galaxy to their own vacuous laws. Slaves, slave masters, Hutts, and all manner of class in between, Tatooine truly was a depressing sight to behold.
He retracted his attention from things that were of no relevance when his eyes befell the woman he was to meet here. [member="Enma Jayss"] stood near the outskirts of the spaceport, her image the same as the first time the two had met. He walked over to her, his hood draping over his dark locks, speaking in a plain tone. "I see you found the location easy enough." He allowed a slight bow of the head before crossing his arms underneath the dark cloak that he adorned over his armor.
Before she could reply he gestured to a nearby rock, figuring that a bit of shade could go a long way in this scorching dessert. "Our target was last reported on this planet, in a system of caves no less. I am sure I don't have to tell you how difficult this will be?" The woman's ability to see through the Force may very well prove to be a great asset this day, if the two could find a trail to follow to their objective.
