Ever since the early years of Hades corp, The company has been trying to master the art of beam weapons when they finally made the leap with the Krak rifle it turned out to be a major hit for the company. with this new line of Beam rifle being mass produced they took insperation from various weapon systems their agents have used in the past. to come up with the HC-BR-MK1.
After extensive testing and research the low magazine size and focusing lenses within the barrel of the rifle being key focuses of the weapon. lowering the cost of producing them and making sure to sell them seprately outside of those sold with the weapon kit was done to milk the profits so that the company could get a return on the money invested into this weapon system. This by no mean means their cheap quality but that when the lenses burn out or your tired of having to switch to a sidearm after every sixty shot your probably gonna spend the extra credits on getting more for the weapon system.
